This is with out a doubt the best thai I have ever eaten. But most importantly the way the owner Joyce Patra made us felt welcomed and the way we were treated like family. Food is phenomenal Atmosphere is cozy and romantic and they also have a outdoor patio. Beautiful decor inside service is impeccable and prompt. Can't wait to see Joyce and her fantastic fresh food again . I encourage everyone to come and experience this great place you will not leave disappointed. Thanks to all the staff at Patra you were outstanding 👏

I really love this Thai restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, and every dish leaves a great impression. Their Pineapple Fried Rice is especially amazing — fragrant, colorful, and perfectly balanced with sweet and tangy flavors. The grilled chicken wings are crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful inside. The Tom Yum soup is rich and full of authentic Thai taste, with just the right mix of spicy and sour. The service is also excellent — the staff are friendly and attentive, which makes the dining experience even better. I’ll definitely come back again and recommend this place to my friends

We ordered catering for 50 people for a department holiday party, and everything was BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS! This is the best Thai food in the area, no question about it. Joyce delivered and helped setup which was a big help. The food was the highlight of our event and there was something for everyone's dietary preferences: veggie puffs, tofu curry, potstickers, Thai basil chicken (+ a Gluten-Free version), rice, salad. The sauces were phenomenal. We loved it! It was great working with Patra Fine Dining. They were responsive, reasonably priced, and seamlessly delivered a delicious and beautiful spread. We will definitely order again!

Found this great little spot in downtown Upland. Staff super friendly and attentive and the food was awesome. The short ribs were so tender and the chicken Massaman curry flavorful without being spicy. Parking on street and in lot next door.

Loved the food and service! Joyce even prepared a delicious dessert for us, we ordered the combination fried rice and bbq rib plate everything was cooked to perfection, so must rich flavor. Will be back! Also we didn’t get any pictures of the plates we were too excited to eat it! 🫣

So good! Definitely recommend! We got the pad thai, the spicy cashew chicken, and the mandalay curry, along with the wings and veggie puffs to share. Everything was delicious, but if I have to choose one, the curry hands down!

Love, love, love Patra Thai Dining. One of my favorite dishes is Green Curry, but over the years I’ve been so disappointed at other places that I stopped ordering it. Something told me to try it here. Not at all disappointed, thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and the joy I experienced eating it. “Thaink you!” Also try the ginger soy salad dressing!!!

We had such a wonderful experience thanks to Joys, our waitress at the Thai restaurant! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The service felt warm and genuine the whole time. We ordered the papaya salad, Pad Thai, and cashew rice — everything was absolutely delicious. She truly made our meal extra special!

This place is something special! We came based on a recommendation that it was the best Thia food around and it definitely lived up to the standard. The spicy salmon plate wasfull of flavor. The wifey got the massaman curry and enjoyed it as well. Its a small cute place great for a date. 10/10

We picked up our order to go and the portions were exceptionally large, properly salted, and delicious from the first bite. Suffice to say my family and I are looking forward to enjoying these dishes for days. We look forward to our next visit.

WOW, WOWWOW YOU GUYS THIS PLACE IS THE SHTNEY , I asked to the bbq chicken but they ran out , so I got the pork chops - almost licked the plate. The tea is on point and we got a chicken soup mmmmm mmmmmm oh and egg veggie rolls . Everything was so fresh . Is so clean in here , the bathrooms the dining the fill in here a grate and the atmosphere is chill , romantic if you like romance and a bit fancy to tell you the truth . Service was grte the waitresses are very attentive. They constantly check on you . I will come back here for sure and bring my family and friends. I give them five stars across the board. Joyce is the owner and she greeted us and actually had a conversation with us which does not happen often. Prices are very fair. You guys can thank me later. Wow wow wow

My mom and I ordered the Thai salmon stirfry and the massaman curry with chicken and when I tell you, this is the best Thai food we have ever tasted. The owner herself cooked our food and continue to check on us the whole time we ate to make sure that we were OK. The food was 1000 out of 1000. The service is also the same don’t wait. Hurry and go try Patra Thai!!!!!

There's not a thing I'd have changed. Lastly we had bananas flambe and this dish was just right Honestly I just have nothing to say about how they could do better. Everything was exactly how I'd want it!

I ordered the Massaman Curry. It was quite possibly one of the best curry dishes I've had. I'm not a big curry fan but I'd definitely order it again. It's sauce blend is addicting I couldn't eat it fast enough and the portion was perfect. I'll enthusiastically. be going back until I try every dish. 😋

Food is great and customer service is phenomenal. Joyce salmon is one of a kind. The salmon is cooked perfectly and sauce on top was terrific. Same as the short ribs. Very tender and flavor is authentic. Our first visit is definitely worth it. Highly recommend it.

Had a wonderful impromptu date night at Patra. My wife and I had the fried rice, mandalay curry (yellow), and the pad kee mow noodles. All the dishes came out hot, together, and we're full of flavor and delicious. Our server was attentive and we also got to meet the owner who was very kind and gracious. I highly recommend people give this wonderful spot in Upland a visit and support a great business serving up excellent food with big smiles.

Absolutely one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had in a long time. The food was excellent, and you could really tell the level of care put into preparing the dishes. My entire party raved about their meals. The owner came out and suggested we try the bananas foster for dessert. It was incredible. 10/10 on the experience, atmosphere, food and friendliness of the owner and waiter. A flawless dining experience!

So happy Joyce moved to downtown Upland! The food, service and ambiance are lovely! Lunch specials are great! My favorite is the Mandalay curry & we always start with one of the tasty appetizers. Today it was the chicken dumplings. I’ve hosted several guests & celebrated birthdays there too. Everything is fresh prepared by Joyce. Order the ice cream with bananas for dessert! Yum!

The fried rice lacked aroma, and the pad thai (stir-fried noodles) mostly tasted sweet with a slight fishy smell. The curry was okay, but the grilled chicken was quite dry and tough. I’ve tried Thai food at many other places in Los Angeles, and honestly, there are a lot of great Thai restaurants out there. This one didn’t really stand out to me.
