The food is average... The traditional dishes need better seasoning. We went again today and it's not bad, but they should improve the seasoning and offer bread and sauces.

The place is nice for enjoying the Zócalo (main square). The food was good! They just really need more staff; the food took a long time to arrive and there weren't enough waitresses. If you're not very hungry or in a hurry and want to practice patience, it's fine!

It's located right on Cholula's main square, and the colonial architecture transports you to another era. The restaurant is very discreet and comfortable, and I liked that it had a play area, although it's in the back, opening onto the hotel lobby, so it seems like they share some common areas. The staff was very attentive, even though they seemed to be trying too hard. They seated a large table for us. I didn't like that I had to convince them to turn on the lights in the play area, which was very dark, but okay, they finally got them on. The food was just okay, the flavor was fine, and it's definitely a place you should consider if you're in the area. The prices are very reasonable; it's worth it.

When we were invited in, they were very friendly, but once inside, it seemed as if they could stop being so at any moment. The waiters seemed uncomfortable. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't delicious or rich enough to say I'd be back. The prices were reasonable. I definitely wouldn't go back, and if anyone asked me for a recommendation, I'd follow them around and look for a better option.

It's actually a bit unpleasant. We went to eat some grasshoppers and they actually changed our menu twice; both times it felt very damp! Not even the manager who comes to Guadalupe showed up. Thanks to Cesar and Agustín for their service and good customer service and looking for alternatives to solve the problem.

Terrible place At first glance, it looks like a very nice place due to its decor and style. The food is served cold and some is salty. Their food is unseasoned and takes too long to get to you. I don't recommend it at all. A family member chose to return their dish and not eat.

On a quiet Tuesday, we decided to eat in Cholula, and unfortunately, it wasn't good. The service was very slow between courses, and then when they brought my dish, which was a chile en nogada (not cheap at $500), the chile was raw. I sent it back, and then they brought me two small ones to compensate for the 500 grams listed on the menu. We were truly left with a bad taste in our mouths. I remember eating a chile en nogada at the fonda was delicious before, and now they're awful! Don't eat there. Besides the fact that they take forever to serve, and there were only two tables, I can't imagine what it's like on a weekend! Then a woman came out of an office. I felt intimidated because she came out, saw us, saw our table, and went back to her office. A very bad experience... I don't recommend it.

The service took over half an hour. I ordered a semita (a type of Mexican pastry) that was listed on the menu for $70, but they charged me $150. In the end, I ordered takeout, and the semitas were small (the $70 ones), and the bread wasn't even a semita; it was a bolillo (a type of Mexican bread roll). 🙃 The only good thing was the clown; he was very friendly and chatted with us while we waited for the food that never arrived. I'm giving them one star; I can't give them zero.

Never order Chiles en Nogada at this place. Save your 490 pesos and go somewhere else. They're awful, with no meat and filled with something like baby food or fruit puree! Disgusting!!!

Paid with a 0 foreign transaction fee US credit card and they added on a 5% conversion fee without asking which currency I wanted to pay in. Said it was automatic.
