Started with Orion some nigiri Ika, Saba, Murugai , Hokkigai, unagi and some Gyoza( would have like them to be crispier at the bottom) but the Hamachi Kama was outstanding. thats why Im keeping the 5 stars. Mixed fried rice was also amazing and a great compliment. I was surprised they had salted wasabi stems 🥰🥰🥰🥰

High quality and fresh sushi at Unisushi! We ordered the Chula Vista roll, volcano roll, fat roll, eel handroll, spicy salmon handroll, and chicken katsu curry rice bowl. We definitely left stuffed. Excellent service. We sat on the dog friendly patio. Definitely recommend, great sushi spot in the area.

The good: the sushi is good. presentation is good. The sauces are flavorful. The guys behind the counter took pride in making our sushi. The bad: where is the rest room. The ugly: check your receipt before you pay we almost got stuck with 2 items that we didn't even order.

I absolutely loved this Katsu chicken curry, it’s always my go to. At this location, you’re definitely getting the quantity and quality that you pay for. The salmon teriyaki is also one of my favorites from here. The service was quick as I only waited a couple minutes for my food. I highly recommend!

Exceptional food and great service at very reasonable prices. UniSushi is one of the best places I have been in Chula Vista. The seafood is so fresh that you feel it was caught in the morning and served in the afternoon. The owner came to our table a few times to ask if all was ok and the server did a fenomenal job. If your in the mood for Sushi this is the place to go!

This specific sushi restaurant is truly incredible. It has lofi playing in the background, and the decoration and environment was fantastic. The plate they delivered to our table tasted as amazing as it looked. Easy 5 stars.

Wish I could give a 4.5, but it wasn't a 5, as much as it was a 4. The food was fresh, and affordable (for the most part) Would come again Uni tasted fresh, all rolls were made well and with good quality ingredients Salmon was cooked tender and juicy; Calamari was tender and crisp. I only wish they'd be more specific of the ingredients per roll, for people who are glutten intolerant or have dietary restrictions. Staff was friendly and kind.

Great spot, I order there all the time but this time they skimped on the spicy tuna and just gave me wads of crab salad. They say it’s in there but I don’t see it. What gives? I like the convenient location and would like to give them the benefit of the doubt but I’m not sure I can go back now. My roommates certainly won’t.

Well, i bought a la carte. I paid cash and I was given my change at the table while waiting for my takeout order. When I saw it, I count my change and then I asked for a receipt. The man said, they don’t give receipt if paid in cash. Whaaat! I have the right to ask for a receipt even if I pay cash or credit/debit. What if something wrong with the food when I get home. How can I explain without the receipt. This is unbelievable. When I got the receipt. I was $ 0.93 cents short. I didn’t bother to ask why. But why I was $0.93 cents short? It was about honesty. The food I ordered was delicious 41/2 stars 🌟

Friday 02/27/2026 At 6pm I had placed 2 separate pick up orders via telephone. The young woman takes both orders and says it’ll be ready in 20 mins. I arrive at 6:40pm. The second order is ready but the first order is missing. We communicate that there’s only one order here. The young woman goes to the back comes back out and then says it’ll be ready in 5 minutes, then proceeds to tell me the cost. I’m still confused as to what happened because she definitely did a repeat back of both the orders on the phone. I’m asking what happened she is like oh they’re making it. I won’t lie I am slowly becoming irritated because why is CUSTOMER SERVICE SO TRASH. She steps back to let another young woman handle it who then proceeds to say it’s not apart of the happy hour menu which I never said it was, then she says the kitchen is more busier than the sushi bar. Again how is that relevant to this situation. So now we’re making excuses got it. She still is trying to charge me for food that isn’t even ready and then says you don’t think it’s ready? I said I know it’s not ready because the other young lady already told me it wasn’t. Then she goes well do you want it or not which at this point No, I’m good. Customer service just isn’t a thing anymore yet people want you to patronize their business over and over again. Not all of the young women there are rude but there are a couple that could use some lessons in customer service. Do better.
