Excellent tacos with all the different type of meat to choose from. Beef tongue melts in the mouth, steak is smoky and flavorful. The fries with choice of meat is also very tasty. Lining up for each type of taco needs to detailed analysis of which ones go on which line, just like in a street market :) It is also very reasonably priced. There's also a sink near the cashier for washing hands without going to the bathroom. Very convenient.

Tacos are delicious. The carne asada and the pastor are my go to. Have never had a bad experience here. The cantaloupe agua fresca was a nice surprise.

We've tried several Mexican food during our trip to California and Tacos El Gordo was one of the best, they don't skimp on the ingredients. We arrived at 5:00 pm on a weekday and it was packed. Ordering was easy and efficient because they had separate lines for the different types of food and everything was labelled clearly. We will definitely visit this place again.

Always love the quick, friendly service and great food. I usually get the cabeza and lengua tacos but everything is good. They have people dedicated to keeping the place clean so you never have to worry about a dirty table.

I don’t even know where to start—this taco spot blew me away. I ordered 4 tacos (adobada, lengua, chorizo, and cabeza) and each one was absolutely beautiful. Fresh, flavorful, and just perfect all around. But the real star for me was the Mulas de Adobada… hands down one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It was magical—fantastic flavor, cooked to perfection, and just unbelievably good. Honestly, this place is next-level amazing.

Being from Texas, naturally, I am reluctant to write this review. These were some of if not the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. Price is a bit lofty, nearly $5 a taco but they do pack the tacos with meat so they are very filling.

Out here on vacation from Denver and we had to come try. Tacos were amazing. The kids loved the quesadillas. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Most definitely worth the drive.

Fair prices and great food. Our go-to spot for carne asada and adobada tacos, the other options didn’t really stand out to us. No self-serve sauces anymore, ask cashier for it. If you want fries, you have to order and pay for them first, then come back to pick them up. Lines are very long, and the ordering system can be confusing, especially with 1st time customer.

Craziness! Asada tacos were good but that was the only line we could get in. Depending on what you want to order dictates what line you get in. So if you want different items, you must move about the various lines creating very very long waits and cold food. Not the best dining experience. While this one taco was good, we would not visit this location again.

This is THE spot for authentic, Tijuana-style Mexican street tacos. Skip the fancy dining—it's all about the meat! The Adobada (Al Pastor) and Lengua Fries are legendary. Expect lines, but they move fast; be ready to order at the specialized windows. A must-try, greasy, meat-lover's paradise.

Great tacos al pastor! My go to are the Al Pastor Fries. Service is good, and while the wait can get a little crazy during busy times, it’s definitely worth it.

I really wanted to like this place, but honestly, it was a letdown. The food looked messy and thrown together, the tortilla was soggy and greasy, and the meat was overcooked and dry. The sauce tasted more like watered-down dressing than salsa, and it completely overpowered everything else. On top of that, the presentation was sloppy — my taco looked like it had been sitting out too long before it reached the table. For the price and hype, I expected way better flavor and quality. Sadly, this didn’t taste fresh or authentic. I won’t be coming back.
