Mi café favorito de toda la CDMX. Tienen un pastel sin gluten delicioso, y el mejor cold brew con cardamomo. :) Además, Axel es un gran mesero.

La comida está muy rica, se nota que todo es hecho por ellos y con muy buenos ingredientes. Buena atención.

Somos personas que venimos dos o 3 veces por semana y siempre nos han atendido súper bien! La comida es deliciosa, el café es delicioso. La persona que siempre nos atendió se llama Miriam, y siempre es muy servicial.

Trabajo cerca de Café Trucha y se convirtió en mi lugar favorito para tomar algo antes del trabajo o en mi hora de lunch. Es un lugar muy hogareño y cuidadoso con los clientes. El equipo de servicio, Axel, Alondra, Vale y Miriam son geniales y muy atentos, me hace muy feliz empezar mi día platicando con ellos. Mi bebida favorita aquí es el chocolate caliente, que lleva una cucharada de crema espesa, el café también es de sabor notable y la calidad de lácteos que usan es deliciosa. Y súper recomendable probar el scone y pedir mantequilla para untar, se siente como un abrazo en el estómago.

Such a beautiful and nice cafe. We stopped by for breakfast and got a mint tea, americano, and their orange and thyme cold brew. We ordered just the baguette with butter and jam and the brie toast. Everything was delicious and the service was great. I would love to come back for the olive oil guava cake!

Had a long layover in Mexico City, went into town for lunch to kill time. Cafe Trucha was delicious! The food, coffee, and vibe were lovely. Even our server, Miriam, was a sweet heart. Highly recommend.

My favorite cafe in cdmx! The food is delicious with a focus on local and organic ingredients. The chef, Poppy, is amazing and she makes the most incredible pastries and cakes! We ordered catering + a special cake for my toddler's 2nd birthday and it was amazing - couldn't recommend enough!

This cafe is trendy, clean, and most importantly locally sourced! Our server Axl was helpful and knowledgeable about the food and drink options for the day. We loved the pan de muerto and homemade baguettes specifically. They even crafted pumpkin art on the pumpkin spice latte!

The olive oil cake with guava is one of the best cakes I’ve had in my life. Axel, the waiter, was so kind and helpful - I had come 2 nights in a row previously and the cake had been sold out, and he suggested I come during the day. He remembered me this morning and immediately got me my cake before I even sat down! The baguette and butter / guava jam is also underrated, it’s so simple but so delicious!

Place feels welcoming just by walking around. They have a unique cake (the one in the picture), which taste is absolutely incredible. Prices are fair for the quality of the food and beverages. Wi-fi is only available from Monday through Thursday, so if you’re doing some remote work this is definitely an aspect to be considered. Loved the atmosphere (and the cake!). Would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.

2 discerning foodies were very pleased! Axl was an excellent, helpful, attentive waiter. Great memory. I think he was the only server. Lattes were delicious! The best I’ve had here (of about 12 places). Had a Lavender latte and a Chai latte (both with an extra shot). Probably the best lavender latte I’ve ever had. Eggs with sage butter and bread was my favorite egg dish this trip. And the veggie and goat cheese baguette sandwich was very tasty. Sister had her sage eggs with bacon and said it was delicious!

Café Trucha is easily one of our favorite cafés in Mexico City. Everything they offer is made with such care and high-quality ingredients — from organic milk to their homemade almond milk, every detail feels thoughtful and intentional. The pastries and cakes are all made in-house by the chef, and they’re absolutely delicious — often decorated with fresh, beautiful edible flowers that make every dish feel special. The croissants and baked goods are some of the best we’ve had anywhere, and the cacao is truly outstanding. Their matcha (made with water) is also delicious and really highlights the quality of their ingredients. The staff are wonderful: kind, attentive, and always welcoming. You can really feel the love and passion behind everything they do. A little tip — grab a table in the sun right next to the door. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy your coffee and a pastry. Highly recommend this cozy, special place!

Outstanding sandwiches, the bread is so crunchy yet fluffy. Lovely setting, service, atmosphere. People clearly gravitate here yet it doesn’t at all feel frantic/crowded. The tote bags are cute too, and the nearby park is filled with dogs and a beautiful fountain

El pastel de olivo es delicioso, el cacao ceremonial también y el latte de rosas y miel súper recomendado frío. La galleta de centeno y chocolate estaba un poco dulce pero el avocado toast creo que es el mejor que he probado en mi vida, delicioso. Lo que sí me hizo sentir incómodo es que todo el tiempo hay mucho ruido, la música estaba fuerte y el ambiente en general es muy ruidoso, no es tan cómodo para estar un rato platicando, siento que solo es ora come e irte. La atención 10/10.

Este café es buena opción si buscas desayunar rico y tomar un buen café. Lo interesante es su concepto, ya que buscan tener productos más naturales y recién hechos. La atención de los meseros fue muy buena y son muy rápidos. Es recomendable llegar a buena hora, para que alcances mesas, ya que pueden tener demasiado gente. En el café hay varias abejas, lo cual es agradable, porque realmente son inofensivas y no molestan a nadie. Los precios son un poco caros, por la zona.

I really don't like leaving a bad review for any small business, but here I am hoping to get the attention of the owner or manager of this establishment. One star is for the server man—the tattooed, curly-haired one with glasses. We got our food and the drinks on time. I liked the food and so did everyone else—no complaints there. While we were eating, we needed some spoons and sugar, so my partner went to the table where they were. While he was getting us the sugar and the spoons, the server man, who saw my partner pick up the spoon and the sugar, just looked at him and shook his head in disgust, as if we had done something wrong. If we did do something, please let him know or us know that was not the right way to do it, especially when the server knew how to speak English. We would have apologized and would have done it the right way. Also, with that experience, do not EXPECT me to leave you a tip; in fact, don't even ask for a tip. This just left me with a horrible experience at this cafe. Too bad, the food was good. Everyone else working at the cafe was lovely.
