Long queue but worth every minute. Tortilla is made on the spot and so consistently good. Every filling is spot on, and we had 6. Location is great for a nice cafe sit down afterwards

The best street food I ever had! Even for a vegan (and this is not a vegan spot) this was a great experience - I had a potato quesadilla (sin queso) and one with zucchini flowers - both with a side of salsa … was delicious- super cool watching them make the tortilla from scratch too. My companions had a quesadilla with cheese and a sandwich which they also loved.

I ate this quesadilla and immediately questioned my upbringing. At Jenni’s Quesadillas, the picadillo quesadilla didn’t just show up, it asserted dominance. One bite and my internal voice went silent. Just meat, masa, spice, and pure confidence. This thing tastes like someone’s abuela made it out of love, spite, and 40 years of experience. The picadillo was perfectly seasoned, rich, comforting, and somehow aggressive in the best way. The tortilla held it all together like it knew the stakes. No frills. No nonsense. Just excellence. I felt judged for every quesadilla I’d ever praised before this moment. This wasn’t food. It was a correction. 10/10. Best picadillo quesadilla on Earth. Argue with the wall.

Amazing food as always. Definitely add some of the salsa which is self-serve on the counter. The location has changed a bit from what's on Google Maps. It's the diagonally opposite street corner now outside OXXO. And their hours are 11am till food lasts which is around 6pm I believe.

The food felt very unique and authentic. They have vegetarian options that I hadn’t see before and were continuously making blue corn tortillas - fresh off the stove! Worth it once but maybe wouldn’t come here again on this trip. They were also closed the first time we came (6PM), and the next day they had moved but there was a sign up with the new location!

Jenni’s is a corner spot where a lady sets up her cooking disk and whips up fresh quesadillas and tlacoyos. They offer several filling options, all accompanied with ooey gooey cheese. I don’t know how they remember so many orders, but they are pros at this. All items are made with blue corn maíz, and are cooked to order. The maza has a nice substance to it, offering a not-so-thick quesadilla that’s slight crispy. The tlacoyos are filled with your choice of meat or vegetables and topped with queso fresco.

This was the best thing my girl and I ate today. It was so good, we left after eating one and we went back 30 minutes later to buy another one. There may be a line, but it’s worth the wait. Also, there are no tables so you’re eating standing up…but that’s street food for you…it’s part of the charm. Tortillas were hand made and so good. The chicken and cheese were seasoned and cooked perfectly. We’ll definitely be stopping back by a couple more times before we leave.

This is a good cart, to be clear and it’s the most delicious thing I’ve had in CDMX so far. The line can stretch but you get your food soon after you order. The chicken rings were a star and I liked the squash blossom flower as something new and interesting to try!

We enjoyed this popular street stand. There is usually a line so be prepared but it give a good authentic street expereince. One woman hand made the tortillas while another makes the food. You stand on the side to eat.i recommend the pumpkin flour quesadilla. Overall a good street food experience.

Excellent blue corn quesadilla. I chose the chicken, chicharron and queso fresco. Delicious, the blue corn she'll tastes amazing.

Believe the hype. Very fresh and flavorful meat, thick chewy white cheese and hand pressed tortilla that has a perfect texture. Everything made right in front of you. Jenni was very nice and she makes those quesadillas quite fast. $35 per, they are not too big so typically you might order two of them. Her helpers make sure the operation runs smoothly, everyone is very friendly. You must try if nearby, or make it a trip to go out of your way. Worth it.

We got there right at open which seemed to be necessary as a large line formed behind us immediately! The ladies were hard at work turning out the menu as quickly as possible to eager guests. Chef had hands of steel as she effortlessly picked up scolding hot tortillas and toppings. Moments like these make me appreciate what I have in life and how hard it is to make something fantastic in this world worth having. I questioned why they didn’t have a restaurant as I sat on the side of the street. Enjoying the delicious quesadillas. (Papas, pollos, champinon) all fantastic but the star was the pollos 9.7/10 Covered in salsa roja for some spicy tang and I’m still thinking about it!! Worth the wait

Handmade with love, these street quesadillas hit the spot. Made with blue corn, these quesadillas are freshly made by the family daily. They are set up on a popular street corner in the Roma Neighborhood of CDMX. The mushroom tacos were next level. Line moves fast, and definitely worth the wait. PS Make sure you know how to speak Spanish.

Long line. No English she Jenni is constantly talking to other people and the offering process is a big chaotic. Very tasty but ... not the best street food we had. Not sure I would rush to return or wait in line but if no line and you're looking for something different than a taco give it a shot.

Very flavorful quesadillas. What popped for me was the blue corn in the tortillas and the tlacoyo. The corn is definitely the star. Arguably you could just buy a fresh tortilla and some salsa and be happy. As for the meats, nothing special. Actually I'd recommend the mushroom instead. It's hard to make mushroom right for tacos and they've made mushrooms tender. It's a vegetarian quesadilla with a meat-eating soul. By the way, yes it is Quesadillas Elenita. I don't know what happened to Jenni.

It’s also known as “Quesadillas Elenita”. There’s always a long line and they hand you the menus while you’re waiting. We got the Mole Verde (Green Mole with shredded chicken), Tinga de Pollo, and Papas con Chorizo (Chorizo and Potatoes) Quesadillas along with a Tlacoyo. I liked the blue corn tortillas they served and the highlight was the Green Mole quesadilla as it was really flavorful and unique. However, the rest of the dishes didn’t live up to the hype. The Tinga de Pollo quesadilla was very bland and watery. This was surprising as both this and Green Mole quesadilla contain shredded chicken. The tlacoyo was way too rich due to the requesón and I couldn’t enjoy the rest of the ingredients in and on it. Another gripe I have is that the cook was always rushing and didn’t make the quesadillas properly; the fillings came out multiple times because they were slapped on haphazardly and the tortillas were closed in a hurry. I understand they’re busy, but I feel like another cook would help matters. The cook also rattles off the orders so it’s hard to decipher which one’s yours (but I acknowledge this is also partly my fault).

The cheese in the quesadillas is not very good, the fillings I got were pretty salty, so I didn't find the food amazing, not sure why the hype. Long lines for quesadillas you can find elsewhere, I had a much better one at the Coyoacán market the day before. Sorry Jenni. Jenni is very funny though, she interacts with the customers using her dry sense of humor.

Definitely a unique dining experience, we tried the chicken and also the chicarron. Both were okay, we weren’t impressed. You basically order, wait to get ur food, eat the food, and when u give ur plates back you pay them. It’s 35 pesos each. Not much English is spoken but they are very nice about it. it is definitely not of high sanitary standards (which I guess maybe is ok), I’d say bring your own hand sanitizers and wet wipes

I fell for the TikTok hype. Food was just okay, nowhere near the best quesadillas of our trip. Process was unnecessarily chaotic, and the staff was pretty rude. Bad service and meh food, I unfortunately cannot recommend it.

Valeria Fuentes

OVERHYPED. Food was bland. I had the chicken mole, picadillo, and zucchini flower quesadillas. The main lady making them is bold and rude. Line moves pretty quick, but definitely won’t be going back. We tried the “tacos de canasta Anita” around the corner and those were 100/10, so flavorful, a million times better.
