Opinions de Wabi Sushi Ciudad De México
Wabi Sushi is such a gem in Mexico City — a perfect mix of modern, cozy, and elevated dining. The atmosphere is intimate and beautifully designed, making it a great spot for a date night or casual dinner with friends. The staff is warm and attentive, and the service feels genuinely thoughtful from start to finish. I ordered a few rolls and every one of them was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The fish quality was outstanding, and you can really taste the care that goes into every dish. The balance of textures and sauces was spot on — not too heavy, just perfectly seasoned. They also have a great drink selection, and the staff was kind enough to adjust options to my preference. The attention to detail here is what really makes Wabi stand out — from presentation to hospitality, everything felt intentional. If you’re looking for high-quality sushi in a stylish yet relaxed setting, Wabi Sushi is definitely worth a visit. I’d absolutely come back again.
I had an amazing lunch at Wabi Sabi. The food was outstanding and the prices were very reasonable. I ordered the Rainbow Roll, which was not only incredibly tasty but also generous in portion. The Wagyu Nigiri and the Korean Spicy Callo de Acha Nigiri were both excellent — fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. I also enjoyed a cup of hot sake, perfectly served and very fairly priced. The waiters were all pleasant, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, Wabi Sabi is a great spot for sushi lovers looking for high quality, great taste, and good value. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Wabi Sushi is hands down one of the best sushi spots in Mexico City. The fish was incredibly fresh, the rolls were beautifully prepared, and every bite was packed with flavor. The atmosphere made the whole experience even better—modern, relaxed, and welcoming. The service was attentive without being overbearing, which really let us just enjoy the food and the moment. If you’re a sushi lover (or even just curious), this place is a must-visit. Truly an amazing dining experience from start to finish.
If there was a better word than amazing, I’d use it. Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. I got the crispy roll and the natural nigiris as recommended by the server and it was a 10000/10. The server recommended pretty much everything to us since we couldn’t choose and it was the best choice! To close our visit we had the concha dessert with coco cream and ice cream inside. YOU HAVE TO GET THIS DESSERT YES OR YES. Amazing. I’ll be coming back on my next visit. And lastly, the vibe is immaculate. The lighting is so intimate and cozy.
This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend when we mentioned we'd be visiting Mexico City, and wow it did not disappoint! Everything here was outstanding. From the food and drinks to the ambiance and quality of service we were so pleased we went twice during our 4 day trip. The shrimp tempura hand roll is the best I've ever had in my life(and I've had a lot of shrimp tempura) and the wagyu nigiri is a must. Sub 100 pesos is a steal for some of the most tender beef you'll eat in your life! The akami tuna rounded the entire meal off, it was so incredibly soft and tasty. It's clear that quality is a high priority for them and they take pride in the food they serve. It's been a few weeks since our visit to Mexico City and I still think about Wabi Sushi regularly and tell all of my friends in PDC that it's a must visit!
DELICIOUS sushi! So happy we stumbled upon this place. The fish is super fresh and the rolls were huge filled with really fresh ingredients ( so much fish inside). My favorite was the Korean Spicy Salmon Roll and the Toro Ginza. The food took a while to come out but I think there was a problem in the kitchen so I would still come back for the quality and overall vibe.
Exceptional service, atmosphere and best of all quality of fish. I had the pleasure of dining here while Mexico City solo. This is a great place to eat if you want to have a true Japanese sushi experience at the bar. Having been to Japan 3 times now, I would say this restaurant gives me the vibe I've been for the 4th time. A nice vibe for couples and small groups; intimate. Service is also exceptional, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and quick. They make you feel very special and they're happy to see you, extremely warm. Now lets talk About the food. It is incredible, the fish is very fresh I barely put any sauce because I wanted to taste every last bite. Extremely fresh and the presentation was very well done. Do yourself a favor and don't miss out on this place!
Excellent sushi: very well prepared and tasteful. The staff was extremely attentive and nice. We had for drinks: Pac Man and sisho sour both amazing. Also ordered the crispy roll, unagi roll, tuna niguiri and sashimi and rib eye gyozas. For sure one of the best Japanese restaurants en cdmx.
Wabi Sushi holds a special place in my heart as my absolute favorite sushi spot in Mexico City. Stepping inside, the ambiance seamlessly blends traditional and modern elements, creating an inviting atmosphere. However, it's the exceptional cuisine that truly sets Wabi apart. Our culinary journey began with rib eye gyozas, a symphony of flavors that delighted the palate. My personal favorite, the crispy roll, exceeded all expectations. Each bite was a burst of joy, with the fried shrimp and the sweet and spicy harmonizing perfectly in your mouth. Beyond the remarkable food, the service at Wabi is great. Both the servers and the owner demonstrate a genuine commitment to providing a memorable experience. For sushi enthusiasts in Mexico City, Wabi Sushi is a must-visit destination. With its tasty offerings, impeccable service, and commitment to excellence, it stands as the model of sushi perfection.
Amazing experience. The food was awesome. Everything we has was e delight. The waitress who attended us was super friendly and very knowledgeable and attentive. The dishes she recommended was all amazing. The place has a nice atmosphere. And some tables outside. We sat at the bar and see the sushi chefs making all that great food.
I had one of the best sushi rolls in my life. The Korean spicy tuna roll was just perfect. The ambiance of the place is romantic and aesthetic. The staff is friendly and willing to help you choose. I will come back to Mexico City just for this sushi. Added to my favorite restaurants! However, we could tell that the chefs change! So please teach all of them how to make this roll perfectly ❤️
We went at 9:15pm on a Sunday and got seated without a problem. The sushi was very good and the prices were reasonable for the quality. They were out of a few types of fish but that was just because of how late we got there. The hand rolls weren't my favorite but everything else was delicious.

Place atmosphere is great, and there are many places to sit: outside, at the counter, or inside tables for 2 or 5. I would recommend groups of a maximum 5 or 6 people. The food was great! Take into account that traditional sushi is served per piece so it can be expensive. I was surprised they got a nice variety of Japanese alcohol, although that is not shown on the menu, you have to ask for them. The same goes for the teapots, you have to ask. For dessert we got rice with mango, you should try it out!
The place is lovely but they should close the door so that it's not so cold inside. The wind comes in all the way to the end of the restaurant. Our waitress was Gloria. She was amazing. Loved her. The food was nice but I was not blown away by it. My favourite rolls were the soft shell crab and the crispy roll ones.
Was really disappointed in the quality and taste of the sushi at Wabi, considering the reviews and photos on Google looked promising. Menu selection is pretty minimal, nothing creative. We ordered the Nigiri Mixto, which included White Fish (was not good and hard to bite through), Salmon (was tasteless), 2 different types of Tuna (these were the best compare to the rest but still just whatever), and Calamari (terrible). We also had the Spicy Salmon Roll, which was again just whatever and NOT SPICY at all. Do not recommend this place if you’re looking for good quality sushi.
A pretty standard sushi spot. The place gives the impression it’ll deliver something extraordinary, but the experience stays fairly average. Honestly, the edamame was the highlight of everything we tried. The rolls were just okay — nothing memorable. The service is solid, but it’s not enough to make up for the lack of creativity in flavor.
This review is for delivery. The nigiri rice was mushy and the fish didn’t taste fresh despite being delivered very fast. The tuna was almost slimy. The rolls were packaged on their side so the pieces were almost impossible to pick up without falling apart. The spicy tuna on top of the roll was clearly just the fatty scraps you otherwise wouldn’t serve. I’ve had worse, but for the price, the food was extremely disappointing.
The owner of the place try to seduce my girlfriend just outside the bathroom giving her an alcoholic beverage!!! This is absolutely inappropriate!!! We had to leave from the place !!!
