Very kind and always available staff... Marta and Dante with their children are the pillars of a beautiful bar with space and outdoor tables to enjoy an excellent aperitif.

A very spacious bar located in Civate's main square, right in front of the church. The bar's distinctive feature is its very long counter and generous interior space. There's also a billiards and games room. I grabbed a quick coffee here, not enjoying anything else. It made a good impression on me, the staff were very friendly, and the prices were average.

IL BAR DEL PAESE (The Village Bar), a meeting place for young and old, offers outdoor tables with comfortable cushions, shaded by a small tree in the church square. It also offers tobacco and ice cream, sweets, and bottled craft beers. The wine selection for an aperitif is also excellent. A spacious smoking area with tables and a pool table. The staff is always friendly and attentive.
The place isn't particularly unique. I assume it's the central bar/café in Civate. It also offers a decent-sized room for watching games on a big screen. It's quite noisy, but that may have been an isolated incident. The staff is very friendly, and along with your drinks, they also bring a nice selection of appetizers. The beer is excellent, as are the sandwiches. The round tables in the room aren't bad; they create a more intimate atmosphere among diners. I'm not saying it's a must-visit, but if you happen to stop by, you'll be treated very well!
We find a bar open on May 1st and choose some popsicles. With the outside temperature at 29 degrees, my son walks in shirtless and is immediately scolded, looking shocked, so... watch your attire!
