They messed up my order and gave me chicken instead of carne asada. I didnt say anything because they were busy and trying to keep up. I also didn't say anything because it was delicious. They ran out of guac and gave me an order of chips and salsa in its place. Not really an equal trade I would say but the salsa was fresh and has a great taste. Normally this would lose at least one star. But because of the flavor in that burito and the fact there has basically never been good mexican food in the area they get a pass. This place is hands down the best mexican in the area. I hope it works out and they open a utica location. Service was good, it did take a while for the food but like I said it was busy. I just hope next time they get my order right and I can try the carne asada. Good luck.

The deli Tacos in Clark mills is the best. Hot, portions are great and wonderful customer service. Do not confuse this place with the food bus in Rome. I went there thinking it would be the same.. hardly I’ll never go back to the food bus. Small portions burrito was almost 80% rice and tacos had hardly any meat.. if you want street tacos done right come all the way to the storefront!

These guys are excellent. A couple weeks ago, I ordered a burrito and didn't realize there was something in it that I did not like. They promptly made me a new one without complaint. I have been here now 4 times as of this review. They are great. Great to have them in the area. As a fellow restauranteur, supporting local is important and it is better with great service and food. Sorry, no photos this time, will include next time.

This place may be off the beaten path for many, but it's very much worth the trip! It's counter service, and the staff/proprietors were very friendly and attentive. I got the shrimp street tacos, which were excellent - very flavorful and fresh. My friend and I split a quesadilla, which had the most tender and delicious chicken I've tasted in ages. The chips were very fresh, and were nice and thick, which made for awesome little scoops for the fresh salsa. All around 10 out of 10! I can't wait to go back! Edit: I've been back here three more times since my initial review, and I'm pleased to share that my comments still stand. The food is killer. This place is a gem!

Hands down, best Mexican food around by a long shot. The Street Tacos Al Pastor are the best I’ve ever had - one of the tastiest foods I’ve ever eaten. Big Fish tacos are fantastic. Small dining room but gives a cozy atmosphere. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

Huge Kudos to the ladies that worked this morning! We placed a rather large order (21+ items) for the office. I called almost as soon as they opened and they had our order ready in less than 30 minutes. Small mix up with the chorizo and shrimp burrito which could’ve been deadly but luckily nobody was hurt. Completely acceptable though as they had a lot going on. That was the only mishap. Now the entire office is happy, full, and planning our next order for the future. You guys truly are the best and I couldn’t have thanked you enough!!!

This is the kind of food my grandma would make back in the days, if she made delicious food. No cap, this food is straight gas. Whatever you order, at least get some birria, you absolutely will not regret it. Seating is limited, so it's a choice place to get some to go food too. Also, if you get the super burrito, you get lunch for another 2 days or so, it's gigantic. 10/10 would recommend.

Just a quick visit to the area and found that a new taco place opened up! Exceeded my expectations. Got shrimp and steak tacos and a Jamaica to drink. Everything was worth the price. I will definitely visit the next time I am in town.

I finally tried Deli tacos and let me tell you something... Try it!! You won't be disappointed. I was greeted when I walked in. It's a small but very nice atmospheres. I ordered the Quesabirria. It came with chips and salsa. Everything was absolutely delicious. My only regret was not stopping in sooner. Thank you deli tacos. I'll be back for sure.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. While it is small it has both indoor and outdoor seating. The customer service is top notch. Friendly greeting and suggestions each time I visit. The food is authentic, delicious, and fresh. I've had the street tacos more times than I can count. They are simple but delicious. Quesabirria is out of this world you get huge chunks of meat that you know took all day to cook. The churros....so so good. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone that loves tacos and birria.

We sat outside under the tent, as it was beautiful out. The picnic tables are painted cute. Our food was amazing. We both had the beef quesa birria and it was tasty, as well as filling. The ladies working were all prompt with services and smiles.

Just had lunch here. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I got the carnitas street taco, which I absolutely loved, and the tacos emperador which was nice and hot and I was stuffed by the time I was done. Completely legit and authentic. Up here from NYC and was told I had to try this place because it compares. That is 100% correct. Carnitas melted in your mouth, tortillas were soft without collapsing. Salsas were perfect. Highly recommend!!

Excellent Mexican food! After driving by for several months, I'm glad I decided to order from Deli Tacos! Ordering online was easy and the food was ready right on time. The Birria Tacos were delicious...after hearing about these tacos you dip in a broth, they were flavorful and packed with meat. The quesadilla was "delicious" according to my quesadilla expert wife, noting that a certain chain's paled in comparison. The chicken mole was also quite good. If you've never had it, it's a flavor combination that needs to be experienced, and this version was excellent. The only gripe I had was that the chicken in the mole was only 1 chicken thigh on the smaller side. That said, it was tender and smothered in the mole. The rice, beans and other toppings were also quite good. Lastly the BIG BURRITO...it was HUGE! That could easily feed 2-3 people. It didn't skimp on the meat, I could only finish a third of it. Even that, I ate too much because it was so good. Overall, this place definitely gets 5 stars. Thinking of the other Mexican places you could choose (Moe's, Chipotle, even Taco Bell), this one is authentic and worth the drive. We'll be back for sure...

If perfection was a place this was it! I tried this place randomly while visiting Clark's mills, I always wanted to stop. I ordered online my meal was ready within just 10 minutes!! Kind people, small staff but man were they fast and great people. Also the shop is adorable in traditional Mexican decor with vibrant colors. The gentleman especially was very polite and caring. Now... onto the food. I ordered the seasoned pork quesadilla with the white cheese chips. Huge portions and so flavorful! What's shown in my photo was only half the chips. Plenty of napkins and utensils given. Will go back! Hope to continue supporting these folks. To those complaining on wait time or busyness, that's just how good small places get, plan accordingly on a time frame and order ahead if need be.

While visiting my mom and Clark Mills she mentioned there was a new Mexican restaurant where Jimmy Nolan’s candy store was located when I was growing up 50+ years ago). My wife and I took her to lunch and we enjoyed some delicious/authentic Mexican food. The entire staff was so friendly which made our lunch even better. We will be ordering food from Deli Tacos on our next trip to visit my mom.

As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with a nice hello. The owner and staff are very helpful in ordering. Even went out of the way to make something not on the menu. Everything we ate was fresh and quickly prepared. A must return. If you're looking to eat in, have patience. There are four tables, but it's worth waiting for.

Just got my order from Deli Tacos in Clark Mills and it smells so good and taste even better! For their first day they were running smooth and waited for my food for no longer than 10 minutes after ordering there. Highly recommended!

It’s definitely a low key spot but when you walk in you immediately know you’re going to get a good meal and I got just that. I got the wet burrito because I had a bit of a drive anyway and it was delicious.

The service was great. All works were busting their butt getting ppls orders out. Great little place. Food was food but wasn't a big fan of the chicken they used. We've never been a fan if chicken thighs, but next time, we'll try the steak.

Great food. Some sogginess taking fries to go as they weren’t too crispy to start but all other food was delicious and more tradition - which is probably why you’re coming here. It was super small and no bathrooms so not recommended for family outing, grab takeout.

Last Saturday, i visited my favorite Mexican food restaurant. My experience with the food was expectacular as always, with the exception of this time service. Most of the time when i’ve been to Deli Tacos theres been this wonderful lady that makes me feel like at home, recently shes has not been there but there has been this young man which has a bad attitude, I’m not trying to say he’s rude but he definitely has bad customer service.

We’ve tried Deli Tacos twice and both times have been good. We’ve tried the street tacos and burritos – the birria was great, the asada I expected to be like "fajita" steak but it was more of a pulled style. I really enjoyed their guacamole but it’s a very small amount and also scooped onto the chips making them soggy and inedible. I would definitely suggest packaging the guac separate to avoid this. Otherwise, we definitely enjoyed our dinner – tasty and filling.

Person who waited on me at the counter seemed board and after taking my order continued her conversation with another employee/family member. The Quesadilla was ok, not great. When asked if I wanted sour cream on i was expecting a big dollop of sour cream but it was sour cream from a squirt bottle on top. Disappointing. If you're looking for maduros or fried plantains, keep going. "Aqui no hay plantains". We have no plantains here...

The food is awesome but the staff are pretty frustrating to talk to both in person and over the phone. They completely missed one of my items over the phone even though I made sure to say it literally 4 times to make myself clear. They also have very bad communication skills, even though there's a language barrier they don't even try. In person if I start listing ingredients I want in a burrito they seem to get mad. They just seem miserable. Hopefully they work a bit harder on communication.

I specifically asked for my Beef Asada order to be made SPICY. I requested that THREE times, got home and the receipt that she printed NOT SPICY! The beef was tough, chewy and the plate was definitely NOT spicy! My wife had the Chicken Burrito and she also was disappointed. Will not buy there again.

Well, this place is always PACKED, so I was like “wow! Finally Clark mills might have some place decent”. So we took a chance on it, you know, small mom and pops place, let’s be supportive. Wrong. This place won’t last long term. Miserable god awful staff. Whatever. So we get home, to find BOTH burritos (11$ a piece) were WRONG. WRONG meat on BOTH. It was bland, most definitely something any of us could’ve cooked on our own, in our own kitchens, with minimal ingredients. What’s even worse, is the quesadilla that was ordered was plain mozzarella cheese, on a regular tortilla, nothing “restaurant” worthy, that you could cook by going to Walmart. The Facebook page is a total lie from what’s actually received. They mess up orders all the time, if you read the reviews, it happens a lot. I can’t believe we spent $40 on this. Will not be returning. This is not a good impression for a place that literally JUST opened. Do better. My finance and child didn’t even it any of it 😑

I’ve only been here a few times. I live 2 minutes away walking there. I ordered the supreme nachos with carnitas and a super burrito with chicken. So when I got home the tortillas are super soft and it’s a mess and super wet. And my burrito has a fishy taste. Consistency is key, if you have none you will not be around too long. I’ve only had good burrito there once. To inconsistent to get anymore of my business. Hope you change your ways for future business.

So tried Deli Taco for dinner tonight. It was underwhelming at best. Wanted to like it but for $60+ for 3. Fish taco...was a fish stick on soggy tortillas. Everything was soggy. Shrimp and steak...shrimp was chopped up and overcooked and steak....more like hamburger. Dessert same soggy bland not really edible after 1st bite. Sorry...wanted to like you but unsure if you will be there long. It was a once and done for us.

Called in my order. There was no “Thank you for calling” it was just a “Hello” so right away not even sure I had the right place. Once the order was placed and I got it home I realized a few things. 1) guacamole was bland 2) fries were not cooked fully 3) shells were left on the shrimp tails that were in my burrito 4) no real flavor on any of the dishes I don’t recommend going here and will not be returning.

Food is very good but unfortunately the both times i went food was missing ingredients on my order the one time it was advertised on the menu the Lady's respondes was that it doesn't come with it and was rude about it. I would like to return here but dont trust my food after dealing with staff

Called restaurant to make order as I had a question. Asked if they can separate the ingredients on the tacos - meat in 1 container, tortilla in another container and vegetables in a 3rd container, as I live far away and didn't want the tacos to get soggy on the drive home. After 10 minutes of discussing this with the employee, as she didn't understand English very well, we came to the conclusion that they could package everything separately. Great, I ordered 12 tacos, a quesadilla, and a chicken mole. I received my order, and everything is packaged together, unlike the 10-minute conversation I had with the employee. After getting an attitude from the manager, I said, "I'll take it, but this isn't what I order". Drove home as fast as I could so tacos didn't get soggy. Then chicken mole was burt to a crisp and rock hard. Which is strange because it's boiled. How do you burn boiled chicken.

Horrible food overpriced and waited over 2 hours for it to be delivered and I ended up picking it up myself and they wouldn't give me my delivery money back. Will never order here again.

I have always loved this place we always average around $50-$60 when we go there,however, tonite of all nites I ordered from there bring my order home take 1 bite and its wrong I asked for NO GUAC and its even on the receipt in boldetters NO GUAC yet there was quac in my burrito. Was I upset yes, did I eat anymore of it? NOPE. I called them immediately and explained the situation and all she said was im sry I dont know what u want me to do about it! Didn't offer to correct the issue, didn't offer a refund just i dont know what u want me to do about. So now im expected to just eat the $15 not to mention we spent $50 there tonite and every nite we go there.

I had food from the Deli Taco food truck and it was a horrible experience. They were overcharging people. I had a bowl which was $12 and a $2 bottle of water. I gave the guy $20 and he gave me two dollars back???? when I questioned him about it, he gave me one more dollar back and it was still incorrect. He said it was taxes! That was way too high for taxes and I don’t even know if food trucks charge taxes? He also overcharged my friend and the young couple ahead of us. I ordered the chicken bowl, which was supposed to come with meat of your choice, lettuce/ tomato, beans, rice, pico de gallo, and sour cream. I did not get any beans or sour cream. The chicken looked like something I never saw before and it tasted like rubber. It looked like some kind of mystery meat!!!! Between waiting in line to order and waiting for our food, it was 45 minutes! If you see DELI TACOS at a food truck venue, I would highly suggest picking a different food truck!!!!
