Opinions de Wolf House Brewing Cloverdale
Went to Wolf House for the first time and was blown away. The beer in absolutely top notch and the fried chicken sandwich was the best fried chicken I've had in years. Gourmet pub food and craft beer. Will be going back again.
This was a super great place to stop for hot fresh delicious food! Just a few minutes off the highway, we got a table right away, fast friendly service and staff. Food came out quickly, we were out of there in 30 minutes, and for a road trip when you don't want fast food, that's great timing! We'd definitely stop here again. Chairs are kinda small and uncomfortable for a bigger bum.
Blue Eye Wolf burger and Patty Melt were great but the garlic fries? Heaven! Real garlic and Parmesan that actually stayed on the fries. Oh, the Stone Fly Stout was thick and yummy.
If you want an AMAZING burger and great beer do yourself a favor and check the place out.
This was a pleasant surprise. Just cruising through Cloverdale on the way to the coast, and the front porch looked pleasant so we stopped for late lunch. Food was excellent as were their home brewed beers. Pleasant staff, quick attentive service, and pleasant atmosphere for this type of venue. Cubano was one of the best I've had, fried green beans had an interesting enjoyable flavor, salads were fresh and tasty.
Server was very friendly and the vibe inside was good. The food was hot and delicious. Try the garlic fries!! They were so good.
This place is amazing! Delicious brews and incredible food! Fish n chips are fantastic, as is the cheeseburger. My wife is gluten free and loves the fish tacos and homemade seltzers. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Great food and beer! The hamburger was delicious and I swapped the fries out for a side salad. Everything tasted yummy and was filling. Love that the beer is brewed on-site. Our server was cheerful and competent . Will definitely return if we come to Cloverdale again.
Came back several times during our stay in Cloverdale. Excellent beer and bartender, Ryan, was very attentive and pretty hilarious. Would denifitely recommend this place. Even had canned beer to take home and enjoy!
We had a very nice lunch here. Service was great, food was great.
Adrienne is amazing! The beer suggestions were accurate. Her thoughtfulness was appreciated. I'm visiting from out of town and this was pleasant surprise stop. I will definitely be back, especially with staff that's like Adrienne.
Extremely good beer and great food!! We will be telling everyone about this place!!! Amazing we will be back 8-30-25
So we were told to get the pretzel - do it, you won't regret it. It was the best tasting pretzel I've had in a long time. But honestly the greatest aspect of the place isn't in the food - which was amazing, or the beer/cider - again, amazing, it is in the staff. They were friendly, knowledgable, timely - everything you could ask for. The ambiance of the place itself was perfect - we felt welcomed from the first hello. So to sum it up: great food, great beer and cider, fantastic staff - what more could you ask for? Stop by for a beer and grab some lunch!
Man, we all thoroughly enjoyed our dine in experience here. Great food great people and great place. Highly recommend
We were told this has the best wings in town and it did not disappoint! We love the local vibe and atmosphere. The food was even better than it looked, and it looked amazing! Service, staff, everything was awesome!
Wolf House Brewery in Cloverdale is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of character. Their craft beer selection is top-notch—each brew has its own personality, perfectly balanced flavors, and you can truly taste the passion that goes into every pour. Whether you’re a fan of crisp lagers, bold IPAs, or smooth stouts, they’ve got something that will wow your taste buds. And the food—wow, it’s on another level! Every dish is creative, fresh, and packed with flavor. It’s not your typical “brewery food”; this is food that surprises you with every bite. The combinations are unique, the presentation is amazing, and it perfectly complements their beer selection. Wolf House Brewery isn’t just a place to grab a drink and a bite—it’s an experience. The staff is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you’re anywhere near Cloverdale, this is a must-visit spot. Great beer, amazing food, and an unforgettable time like no other.
Great food, even better neighbors! I live 2 blocks from Wolfs and now walk past them daily. Even though I’m not a regular, EVERY single time Elise(one of the owners), sees my dog and I walking by she’ll come running out to stop us. Just so she can go back inside for a min to find a treat for my dog. When I say “treat” I’m talking about tri tip, bacon, GOOD STUFF, and that almost always comes with a pup cup. My dog has now completely changed our walking routes just in hopes Elise will see us walk by. Seriously we’re like stalkers😂 Running into her has become one of the favorite parts of both of our days. If this is how they treat neighbor, I can only imagine how they must treat their staff and regulars. So if you’re looking for a great place to eat with a welcoming atmosphere, I can’t recommend Wolfs enough. Luka my dog is obsessed!!!
Lots of open seating, but nothing at the bar. Too full! Great place to wet your whistle. Food was good and service was great. No problem coming back here. Ask for Isabel! Check out our YouTube channel Coolest Life.
Sat at the bar & enjoyed a flight of tasty beers & lunch. Great beers & friendly service! The Chicken Cordon Blue sandwich was fantastic (perfectly cooked, nice flavors, & enough ham to add a contrast to the fried chicken) . The French Dip was OK, but I wouldn't get it again (too much bread, not enough meat, could have had a bit more flavor). Buddy beer was my favorite. Plenty of beer styles to enjoy. Inside & outside seating available. TVs at the bar if you're interested in sports.
Got the Facemelter fried chicken sandwich with garlic fries. Delicious. Chicken was juicy and crunchy. Got the Dutch Courage pale ale. Flavorful. Watched the SF Giants v Pirates game and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.
Hello Viewers, I made a last and spontaneous decision on my long weekend trip to Clearlake in 2023 because I did not plan anything for Labor Day. most importantly, I really hate the heavy driving traffic when I travel. I normally enjoy to explore any local downtown on the way to destination, California is known for its wine and beer brewer. We were pretty hungry when we land to the wolf house brewing after a 4 miles hike to Armstrong national forest, so heavy burger is always my choice. we order Porky's Revenge, French dip, and I go for the fried chicken sandwich AKA "Dirty bird". I know French dip is going to be a bad choice when I see the keywords "Tri-dip" and I believe dirty bird means it will be very saucy. I enjoy saucy with the fried foods. my poor friend, and I hope he got a strong jaw. the burger is done prefect with right amount of the fat/meat ration, and dirty bird fried chicken is juicy, and side of fries is probably a double fried fries, and it's what I call ultimate comfort foods on the road. while I am enjoy the foods piece by piece, my friend is working on his jaw to breakdown the Tri-tip French dip, and I did not bother to try a piece. yes I normally enjoy sampling other's foods. The waitress is kind and attentive, and sitting is spacing too. the only thing I wish I could tell waitress before we got seated is why didn't waitress mention there are army of the flies when sitting outside. they seems to enjoy my fries too. long story short, if anyone visiting Russian river, Santa Rosa, or Clearlake, it's worth the extra 30 minutes drive to visit wolf house brewing with burger done right. my friend is disagreeing with me now, and I think it's his fault. 3 weeks after Labor Day weekend, Paul
On a trip up the 101 to Eureka and discovered this gem on the way. Amazing cheesesteak and Cajun fries, refreshing Pilsner and super friendly service! Will definitely make this place my go-to pit stop for each trip from the bay.
It was great! But not 5 star great...wish we could give it a 4.5. Great customer service -- very welcoming! Higher priced for the average portions but all tasted good. Hubs got and enjoyed his Face Melt Sando. My Chicken Pesto Sando I expected slightly more flavor, but definitely still delicious. My kids loved the fish & chips with coleslaw and fries. Good choices all the way around and a nice stop.
The bartender made some great suggestions and even gave me some insight to a good park to take my dog to. The food was delicious. Got Buffalo wings with garlic fries, the face melter chicken sandwich with Cajun fries and tried a couple of their brews. Everything was absolutely great.
The pretzels and cheese was probably the best I have ever eaten. The fried chicken batter was light and very crisp. And the bacon burger was really good. It was dog friendly and the staff was nice to talk to.
These people remind me of being at home( Texas) I'm out here in Cali visiting family, and do have to say they are kind and curtious. Recommend this little brewery to anyone. Great Beer, and pulled pork is pretty darn good. Thanks for the experience Nick and coworkers. ..
We stopped in here on our way north and was so glad we did. The food and the service were both excellent. Would go back

What a great find . We where in town for a week and there every day . The folks there are great and the staff was awesome The bartender Ryan was amazing. Thanks for making us feel @ home Love from Georgia thanks again .
Had the Cajun Shrimp salad and the Shrimp Tacos. They were very tasty but the salad was a bit over dressed. Better to ask for it on the side. There seemed to be only 1 server but she did her best. Otherwise it was okay. It was hot out but the outside table was in the shade. They're dog friendly so our dog got to be with us. Their craft drafts are pretty good too. I'd dine here again when in the are.
It's a simple place with good food and friendly service. We enjoyed the quick stop we made for lunch. 👍🏻

The food - especially the fried chicken sandwiches - is always exceptional. We’ve been coming here for many years and the food never disappoints. I’d say it’s probably the best fried chicken sandwich north of the Golden Gate. But the beer… It’s just so bad. On our most recent visit my wife made me chug down her pilsner, it was pretty much undrinkable. We’ve tried almost everything on the rotation over the years, some of the IPA offerings are passable. If it was a one-off I'd be inclined to thing their tap lines are dirty or something. Who knows, but we will keep coming back for the food, certainly not the beer…
Such a great burgers and the chicken sandwiches are fabulous. I really enjoy the fries. Friendly service. I just wish they had the slushie drinks all year round or other beer options. At least coors light. Love this restaurant.
Significantly beat my expectations! Sure, I can go anywhere and enjoy the beers... stopped in for some lunch and the food was much better than expected. Nice chill environment and was able to dine outside with my dog.
Brewery and pub. Great beer. The food is good too. Unfortunately, they scaled back there menue. Probably to to cost. There were great items, but now they are gone. The fried chicken sandwich is a fav. The face melter! Service is very attentive, but not overly. Good place.
Enjoyed the happy hour and the food and beers (had the marzen and velvet rope).

We hadn't been here since it changed to Wolf House. It was really busy, but the host sat us right away, brought menus and water, and told us it would be about 5 minutes for the waitress to get to us. We weren't in a hurry, but I appreciated her checking to see if that worked for us. The waitress was super friendly and knew the menu options well. It wasn't long at all before we were brought our flight of beer, followed by our food. A Cordon Bleu and a Cuban were our choices with fries. Fantastic! The beer was delicious, too. We will be returning soon.
First time here and I'll probably stop in again if I'm back in town. The chicken wings were really good. I tried multiple sauces and enjoyed them all. The pretzel was pretty basic and same as I have had elsewhere but the cheese sauce was nice. Beer was good. They were out of the Blonde that I had hoped to try. My only complaint is that I bought a 4-pack to bring home and when I opened the first can it was flat. I'm sure I could return it but it's over an hour drive for me to go back.

We won’t be back. We had an amazing experience the first time, great beer and really good food. Each time after has been worse and worse to the point of walking out twice now. The first time we were not served or greeted for 30 minutes we counted as a fluke. The second time, we won’t go back. Our experience today was walking in and being greeted but not sat for 10 minutes (which was fine with us). Then a big family walked in after us and crowded the small waiting area. Still fine. But what bothered us is after we finally got sat, that family was immediately served beer and food orders taken. Meanwhile we don’t even know who our waitress is. I’m assuming it’s because they assumed we were bad tippers because we’re young, but we always tip over 20% even on bad service. The other experience was Mother’s Day and waitresses were fighting over who had to get another table. They passed us off for 15 minutes before the bartender just told us to sit in the back. Where we were ignored for idk how long. So we left that time too.
I had fish and chips. The chips were excellent. The fish was too oily but the batter on it was fine. The coleslaw, well let me put it gently. Start over with a new recipe, please. It was warm, soggy, and had no flavor. Don't worry, I will be back. I know many of your items are delicious. The "Therapy Session" beer was excellent!
Was pretty much ignored. Waitress’ priority was getting a table cleared vs serving us. I asked for a glass of water and she said”ok” then walked away. After being ignored for too long, we left. Went to Railroad Station Cafe and received excellent service, no crowds and delicious food.

We walked in on Mother’s Day and were greeted by Elise, one of the owners, who kindly seated us and was very pleasant. When our server, Adri, came to take our order, she took the order of the couple next to us first—even though they had arrived after we did. She then immediately took our order. About 30 minutes later, the couple received their burgers, while we continued to wait another 15 minutes. Our server never checked in on us until I managed to catch her attention from across the patio. Instead of approaching the table, she addressed us from where she stood. When I asked if she knew how much longer our food would take, she rudely responded, “I don’t know, I’m not cooking!” Immediately after, she came back outside with our food and said, “Here’s your food. It has been 45 minutes.” I responded that I understood they were busy, but I did not appreciate her disrespectful response from across the room. We had waited that long for an order of boneless wings and a few sliders and yet by the time the food arrived, the experience had already ruined our appetite. I couldn’t even enjoy my meal. She later returned to “check” on us and rudely addressed my mother directly, asking—as if I weren’t there—“Is this your daughter?” before walking away with a dismissive “uh-huh.” Even the couple next to us was appalled at the treatment we received. Adri then had our tab brought over by Elise, who was kind, apologetic, and even offered a discount. I assured Elise that we didn’t need a discount and expressed our gratitude for her kindness. I simply hoped no one else would have the same experience we did. Had I known my mother would be treated that way on Mother’s Day, we would have chosen another restaurant.
