I had an absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Anthony’s in Coeur d’Alene! The fresh scallops were nothing short of outstanding—tender, perfectly seared, and bursting with that sweet, oceanic flavor that makes you savor every bite. (We actually ordered twice 🤭🙈) The mahi mahi was equally fantastic, grilled to perfection with a delightful char and seasonings that highlighted its flaky, fresh essence without overpowering it. What truly elevated the evening was the service by BRUCE, very professional, attentive, and genuinely warm, making us feel like valued guests from the moment we walked in. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and visit—it’s a must-try for seafood lovers! Five stars all the way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband and I got dressed up went on a date night here. At first, seeing a couple exit the restaurant in more casual attire ( cargo shorts and polo top and she was wearing something similar, just a tank top) and immediately felt over dressed. After some contemplation we went in anyway. To our relief, the atmosphere was mixed with all sorts. We were greeted, seated and served our first drink within minutes. Food well within a reasonable time, and it was delicious! The service was wonderful for us. We'll certainly be returning another time!

Crystal was an awesome server. She made our meal better, if that was possible. The food was excellent. Had fish. The chef complemented the fish with subtle seasoning and flavor. Great atmosphere with awesome views. It sits right on the water and have outside seating. Great place for date night. Or business meeting. Oh, and the wine was great and a perfect pairing with the fish.

1st time for the wife & I having dinner at Anthony's. We went to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. We started off with a couple of drinks..the wife had a Prickley Pear and I had Pom Paloma and both were fantastic! We had 2 appetizers, the muscles and scallops and for our meals we had the seafood fettuccine and a 10oz steak with garlic scampi prawns and lastly for dessert my wife had the Huckleberry Creme Brulè and I had Peach cheese cake. The best part of the night next to how beautiful my wife looked that night was the service. Our server Ion was awesome! He felt more like a friend than a server...very polite, friendly, and attentive to us. Everything was great food, service and ambiance. Definitely would recommend and look forward to coming back.

All Five Stars! From the greeting at the front desk — referring to my wife with her first name (reservations) — to the excellent service provided by our team member server — to the food quality & presentation — to the ambiance & beautifully landscaped veranda looking over the small lake — this was a memorable experience. This restaurant was highly recommended to us from friends who had lived for many years in the Northwest. Attention to the smallest details are everywhere at this venue. We opted for indoor seating but the outdoor area was equally attractive and inviting. Lastly — while the level of service and price points suggest a “dress code requirement” — they’ve created an environment where a much wider apparel selection is most welcome. Think upscale country club.

Update: Sam was great! No complaints about this place although both my wife and I HAVE to have gluten free and although they have some great gluten free options they have no alternative to their bread (which is not). Other than that 5 Star. Past experience: Crystal was amazing. We are always pleasantly surprised by such a top notch team and great food at this place.

They have a great steak filet there, and the service is usually pretty good. Great outdoor seating, complete with an occasional duck from the nearby, beautiful pond who roams by each table hoping for some bread. One of our go-to's.

Highly recommend! My wife and I loved everything about our experience at Anthony's Our waiter Ryan was amazing and helped us pick our items and everything was incredible. We like to share everything so we can experience more items. 😂. Started with scallops on to a bowl of clam chowder then to the main dish of dungeonous crab cakes that were all crabmeat with a nice crisp on the outside no filler! We were celebrating our anniversary so they brought us crème bruele for dessert also incredible. We are from Arizona but if we come back this way we will absolutely be back. Thank you all for an amazing experience. I forgot to mention the view of the lake is also pretty spectacular .

We went there for a late lunch, they weren't busy and service was excellent. Their panko fish and chips are some of the best! It comes with really good fries and a ginger salad, also excellent. Nice views and great food - worth the price.

We went to Anthony’s for my birthday dinner and it was beyond amazing! The seafood is fresh and cooked perfectly, my husband had the steak and it was perfect as well. The crème brûlée was the best we’ve ever had! Definitely plan to be back soon! We sat at the kitchen bar/counter and actually really enjoyed watching all the food being prepared. Our waitress was very prompt and sweet and helped us make excellent menu selections.

This was my second time at Anthony’s. I make a 90 minute trip just to come back for the ‘Seafood Chop Chop’. This $37 dish has Dungeness crab, Oregon Bay shrimp and a glorious basil vinaigrette.

I love all of the Anthony's locations, it's my favorite part of visiting Washington State and now, Idaho, for the first time. Amazing water views and sunsets...ample parking, smiley faces and fabulous service. Without question, get the chowder, coconut prawns, halibut fish 🐟 n chips and silver salmon entree. Bartenders, Whisper and Shane, are amazing, love them! ❤️

What a treat! Came early on Friday evening (traveled from EST time zone;, sat outside in gazing at lake, hills; warmed by fireplace and overhead heaters. Had ahi nachos, trout and salmon. Lovely time. Food was well seasoned and prepared perfectly. I love how the bar service area was lowered so bar patrons had unobstructed views of the lake, but why not sit in the Adirondack chairs while enjoying your cocktail?!!

Such an awesome experience! Nervous for showing up too late and bar made me feel super comfortable like a local with top notch service. Incredible food with fresh local farm to table entrees...and then the dessert!!!❤️🙌🏼🙏🏼

I had the Rainbow Trout and sampled the Clam Chowder and Cesar Salad + Shrimp from my parents plates. All food was outstanding. Trout flaky and moist... so delicious. I prefer lemon on my fish and after requesting for fresh lemon slices this brought the dish to another level. Very nice view, great vibe and excellent service.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We got the coconut shrimp appatizer and a cup of delicious clam chowder to start. The fish and chips had a nice light batter and wasn't greasy at all. The view of the lake completed the whole experience! We will definitely be going back.

Another great experience! We took our son to Anthony’s for his 17th birthday and were met with a few hiccups as you could tell there were wait staff and kitchen issues. When we informed the manager Jason, he made everything right and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for hearing us and making our dining experience fantastic!

This is my favorite place that my husband and I go out to eat at in CDA. Always excellent service, the manager is very friendly and always helpful, the bartenders make the best drinks and make sure you are happy with it. Cost can be high or reasonable depending on your choices, the clam chowder is excellent, and I really like the calamari. The atmosphere is beautiful, too.

Bruce is a very friendly, attentive server. Everyone was so professional and kind. The manager gave us an appetizer because we were put on a wait even with a reservation, and the Ahi Nachos were so good we would've paid for them!

Celebrating our 37 th Anniversary. My husband proposed at an Anthony's in Seattle 37 years ago! Bruce was amazing... friendly, best service w surprise delicious dessert. Food was wonderful! We'll be back!

Bruce, our server, was great. They seemed a little overbooked on Valentine’s Day, reservation was seated about 30 minutes late. Guy working the front desk isn’t who I’d staff there, hospitality could use improvement. Bruce fortunately made up for the not so warm welcome. Food was great and came out fast.

We had dinner at Anthony’s for my mother-in-law‘s birthday. The food was wonderful, Bruce was our waiter and he was exceptional. Very attentive and made my mother-in-law feel very special. We look forward to having dinner there again.

It's hard to say enough good things about this restaurant. This has become our goto restaurant for special events even though it's an hour and a half from where we live. We love their clam chowder. There seafood is wild caught. I don't think there's anything deep fried. Food presentation is very pleasing. Menus change from time to time. Lovely venue with indoor and outdoor seating. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Very nice restaurant. We have been to Anthony's before but not this one. We always go next door to bardenay so we wanted to try it. Very nice location on the little lake in Riverstone. I love the peacefulness of the patio seating. Very nice ambiance and decor. We were not too impressed with the calamari as it was not cooked quite right, some of the breaking was soft. But the seasonal berry salad and the clam chowder were awesome. We were feeling really good about it and then we sat for probably 30+ minutes before we got our food. We got the special rockfish with rice pilaf. The rockfish was super good and cooked nicely. The rice pilaf was a tad overcooked. The halibut fish and chips awesome. The fries had a very tasty seasoning and cooked well. The halibut was awesome. It came with a ginger salad type coleslaw that was unique. They have non-alcoholic beer which I like because we don't drink. The vibe was super peaceful outside watching the fountain, so it was hard to be stressed about the wait. Not sure if we were supposed to get bread, but we didn't and I hope to try it next time. We will be back for sure.

This review will be the Good, the bad and the ugly. We did not have a reservation but came in at 3pm and there many empty tables. We were told we can’t seat you, but only but outside which was too cold to sit outside or at the bar and that was even colder. We did get two seats at the kitchen table. The food was very good, but extremely expensive, but that is the sign of the times. Good wine, great steak! and the fish could have used a nice char on it. This is where the ugly comes in… the guy that cooks the pasta used tongs to mix it up in the frying pans and then hung the tongs on the oven doors full of food. The chief that takes the order for the fish and steaks cut a steak on the counter where plates get filled. The same blue rag to clean up the blood juices was used other times to clean up the counter. The cross contamination is unreal. So if someone had a fish allergy the same tongs are used for all pasta dishes. The young man who stuffed plastic bags of pasta was over handling the pasta and it was dropping all over the place on the counter. the prep work that day was behind the service time.

Salmon fettuccine was amazing! The surfNturf meal was extremely small portions and very disappointing. We had to pack up our own "to go" box. We had our wedding night meal there and we were surprised there was no dessert or a drink or anything as a special token for our day. Overall price for what we received will not entice us back for a meal.

Very good dinner in a very nice establishment. Went here for dinner on my last night in CDA for a work trip. Anthony's is an old family tradition going back many years so I have good memories of the restaurant name. I ordered the steak and oysters. Steak was excellent, cooked exactly as I'd asked (med. rare) and very flavorful. The vegetables and potatoes were great as well. Oysters were ok. I generally don't like them but I always want to try things so don't skip this restaurant just because of that. Service was very professional and friendly. Fairly attentive as well. The location is great! Good view and a very relaxing yet upscale experience. Don't feel like you have to dress up to come here. I came in just a flannel and jeans since I was on work trip and felt totally comfortable. However, this would also be a great place to go all out and dress up for a date night. Overall a great dining experience. I'll be back.

Delicious wonderful food and a beautiful waterfront view. But we ordered three food items, and the waiter made a mistake on each of them! They did make it right in reach case, but this is not the service we expected from this fine restaurant. 12/24 Excellent food and experience this evening! Merry Christmas!

Heard they had AYCE Dungeness crab. Being that is my favorite crab and they serve it chilled, I was in. 3 minutes late for my reservation that I called several hours before and alerted them I would be late, and they made me sit in the bar. A little annoying but whatever. The view of the pond during sunset in the winter was really pretty. First plate of crab had 2 big legs. Crab was real salty like they kept it chilled in salt water. Wasn’t as flavorful as it is near Seattle where it’s fresher. Second and third plate were smaller pieces of crab. Overall it was a good experience

Greeting right when we walked in the door was quite snobby. We had been hiking all day and wanted a nice meal. Ordered the seafood Fettuccine. The prawns were tiny and overcooked. Our server did have the kitchen split the meal for us which was nice! Kids pasta was dry and had hardly any sauce. Pork chop meal was a normal pork chop, nothing stood out or was outstanding. Overall prices didn't match the level of culinary cooking. Our server was great.

While basking in the glow of a superb meal, we lost track of the time. The meal was wonderful, as usual, and the wait staff added to a great dining experience. Then came a gentleman whom I assume was the manager. We had overstayed our welcome, apparently. In a loud and brusque voice, he told us we had to leave as there were people waiting for a table. He threw down chits for a free appetizer as though that would assuage the embarrassment of his kicking us out, and people at the surrounding tables privy thereto. We dine here 3 to 4 times a year. Not any longer.

The service was great the atmosphere was ok but their food went down hill. We went for our anniversary, and I ordered the King salmon and my husband ordered the crab. The crab was over cooked and chewy potatoes were disappointing to say the least. My salmon was good not great very over cooked and the rice was crunchy way undercooked. We then ordered dessert the melting chocolate cake with ice cream and that was just the last straw! It was by far most disgusting dessert I’ve ever tasted. No sweetness to it just bland as hell. All I can say is thank you for the over charge and the anniversary dinner I hope I can forget we will NOT return to this place we should have went to beverly’s or somewhere they actually care about the food before serving it. I really want my money back. PS the clam chowder was by far the best part of the evening!

It was recommended by the hotel we stayed at as we were visiting family in Idaho. First time going to Anthony's, not the best experience after traveling all day, went on a Sunday mid to late afternoon. We were told there would be a 10-15 minute wait, not sure why, while the table was being prepared (most of the tables we walked by already had a setting on them), there was no one else waiting, other people were already at their tables eating or ordering. I had a House Salad, which came with Romaine, Fennel, Walnuts, Blue Cheese and Tiny Baby Shrimp with Peach Vinaigrette Dressing, it did come in a big bowl. I asked for the Walnuts, Blue Cheese and dressing to be put on the side which was not an option, so I told the waiter to leave them off and for the dressing to be put on the side. Not what I was expecting. House Salad's where I am from have some type of lettuce, cucumbers, some type of tomatoes, cheese, diced eggs, crotons and peas optional your choice of dressing. My husband ordered the Fish and Chips, the waiter corrected him and said it was Cod and Fries. When my husband said that is not what the menu said, the waiter, said to point to what you are asking? He got 3 pieces of breaded fish the size of a small card deck, seasoned fries, some type of Coleslaw salad and condiments. Others have posted pictures of the same food but ours did not really look like some of the pictures. My husband got so upset and frustrated. He said did I say something wrong, are we not dressed right? He usually wears a hat, he had taken it off when we went into the restaurant and got seated. But after that he put it back on. Everyone else in the restaurant had jeans, t-shirts or shorts on, no one was dressed up. Not sure what the deal was? My husband is a pretty good tipper, not that day!

We booked an outdoor reservation well in advance for a birthday, but when we arrived, they sat us inside instead. They gave excuses about not being able to accommodate, yet there were plenty of open tables outside with other guests seated there. The water quality was poor — whether unfiltered or filtered with a weak system, it left a strong taste that carried through the drinks and even the food. I’m sensitive to water flavors, so this really stood out in a negative way. Service was underwhelming; our waiter had a monotone presence and didn’t bring much energy. Small details were also overlooked, like serving butter rock solid instead of softened. Food was hit or miss: • Stuffed mushrooms were disappointing (Red Lobster honestly does them better). • Mussels were cleaned well but needed more seasoning. • Fettuccine was decent. • Clams were tasty. • Surf and turf was a letdown — just three scallops and a very small steak. As for drinks, they were weak and served in small glasses, yet still priced at $10+. Overall, between the service, quality, and portions, I’d rather go elsewhere next time for both a better dining experience and better value.

Get your door fixed so future families don't suffer through (December 27th) 20 degree air cascading over their tables. Also, may consider sitting down and trying each of your own menu items. Can't yell you how displeased several of us were in our meals, alone. Poor meal, poor atmosphere, service was descent (Thank you Crystal). Given what we paid, I'd say we could've received a better meal sitting in our coats on our front porch eating delivered pizza. Might have been a good idea to not seat people downwind of the open doorway. When we made mention of it to our hostes she indicated the door was damaged and there was nothing that could be done. I was literally embarrassed by Anthony's and it won't happen again!
