I experienced Ambrosia for the first time last night. Our server was great, funny, and very attentive. I wish I could remember his name to give him public kudos; it's well deserved. We ordered Apricot Curry Chicken (which was my dish of choice), Pork Ribeye, Top Sirloin, and Sockeye Salmon. Everything was wonderfully plated and all the flavors popped. I especially liked the melding of flavors of the apricot curry and the jasmine rice; it's just good comfort food! Beware, the red curry on the Sockeye is very HOT! Most at the table were unable to withstand the bite, but my personal palette enjoyed a few bites as I was checking out the breadth of the culinary offerings. We finished off the evening with bread pudding paired with bourbon ice cream and a blonde brownie over apricot sauce with ice cream. The bread pudding is next level with a nice crust on the exterior and a soft almost creamy inside. The bourbon ice cream paired with the bread pudding was an excellent combination. We also enjoyed the blondie over apricots; it was an explosion of sweet and very tart. Enough to feel your glands activate tart! Overall, the food, service and atmosphere was 5-star quality and I know I will be back again and again in the future.
me and my girlfriend went here on a date I would suggest bringing a date here. their food is excellent. it's a little on the high side but that's all right it's a fancy place. the wait staff was friendly courteous and helpful. they have a nice selection of wine. the staff went over and above to help us enjoy our meal.
Ambrosia is a little unassuming as you approach the entrance. They have a nice dining area out front, although the ambience is a bit funky as the view is just the parking lot. Inside, the vibe is turned up a notch with nice booths for more intimate dining. Food is always top notch and presentation is artistic. Prices are reasonable considering this place leans to the "fine dining" side of the scale.
Hands down the most delicious French onion soup in all of Spokane! I've only had it one other time and it was just impressive. I'm officially addicted! My sandwich was a perfect reminder of warmer summer days are just around the corner. Fresh, light and refreshing. My waiter (Jake k) was very friendly with a genuine smile and warmth about him. 10/10 Highly recommend 👌
This was my third visit to Ambrosia Bistro. All three visits have been great. I admire the consistency here. Our waiter was friendly, patient, and helpful. He was happy to take photos for us. The food has been excellent for all three visits. I ordered their hamburger and it was very good. The sweet potato fries were the perfect side. I'll be back soon.
Yummy and I really mean yummy. The couple of times I have been here now have just been an incredible culinary delight. I highly recommend Ambrosia and will return!
Wow, fantastic restaurant! Our server (Sarah) was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu/food and she made great recommendations. The restaurant atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. I tried this restaurant two nights in a row because the food was so good! I’ll be back again when visiting Spokane.
Incredible food, everything is always delicious. Amazing staff, every one is so kind, patient and attentive. Can't say enough good things about this place and the people there. Highly suggest - Ambrosia is an absolute gem. - photos of the salmon, which is perfect every time & some other pretty plates ♡ & their chocolate martini is the best in town 🍸
Fantastic experience. Walked in and we were immediately seated despite the parking lot being full and them appearing to be quite packed. Ricky the bartender was our waiter, and he gave us some fantastic drinks that included the Ginger Bramble, Coffee Nudge, Piñaritta, and the Maker's Mark Manhattan. We started off with the Calamari and Lemon Thyme aioli, which was nearly "lick the bowl clean" good. My wife got the dinner special which was Scallops with Bacon Jam served on asparagus and a sweet corn risotto. It was delicious. The bacon jam complimented the natural soft sweetness of the scallops and the asparagus and risotto were very well seasoned. I got the 8 oz Sirloin served with chimichurri, asparagus, and roasted potatoes with red bell peppers. I asked for my steak medium rare and they delivered. A great sear on the outside and light pink through the middle. The chimichurri was really well made with lots of garlic and pickled red onion to compliment it and the flavors. My asparagus were a near perfect al dente and well seasoned along with the roasted potatoes and red bell peppers. To wrap things up my wife got the Salted Chocolate Torte, which was very rich and a fantastic blend of flavors that was cut and complimented by the whipped cream on top. Thanks again Ricky for taking care of us tonight and we look forward to coming back again.
Great restaurant. I was passing through Spokane and had the Pork Ribeye and Lemocillo Tiramisu and both were excellent. The bread service was also probably the best I've tasted, so fresh tasting! The Manhattan cocktail and Duck Pond Pinot Gris were also great options. Only mark against was the service staff seemed a bit preoccupied at times, so had to be a bit loud with my "excuse me" a couple times to get their attention.
I have been here several times over the last few years and the food is always fantastic! This week we enjoyed the Beet and Bleu Salad (whole size with grilled chicken added) and French onion soup. The wine menu is expansive and I enjoyed a glass of the house red. Cozy atmosphere with low lighting and plenty of parking. Great spot for lunch or dinner!
Quick and friendly service. Delicious food, serene atmosphere. I came at a little before 5. Promptly seated. When I left there was more people but still very lovely and serene.
Fantastic spot! My boyfriend and I came here for lunch around 2:30 today and were extremely happy with the food and service! Our server Wayne was excellent! We got the Wagyu burger and the salmon BLT with Caesar salad and both items were out of this world! The burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor! They also make their own Caesar dressing which was spectacular! Not to mention the food took only 10 minutes to reach our table! We could not be happier! We ate every last bite and only have positive things to say! The atmosphere of this restaurant is great also! Lovely music and decor. Staff is amazing as well! 10/10 recommend this restaurant! Side note: Bathrooms were very clean as well! This place is awesome!! We will definitely be coming back and telling all of our family and friends!
Really, this has always been a good place. We ate during restaurant week and had the pork ribeye, beef stroganoff. It was divine. Desert was sooooo good. If I could Rate more stars, I would. Wayne was the best server, can't give him enough stars. Try Abrosia because you won't be disappointed
Great food and great service! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Their Cajun Pasta, Siracha Burger with hand cut fries and French Onion Soup were DELICIOUS!
My mom brought me here for my birthday. It was such a fun and relaxing lunch. The waiter was so atteny but not hovering. And the food, as always, was delicious!
Went here with a friend. Delish, good wine selection, interesting menú items. Hidden in a strip mall next to Pizza Hut and the Dollar Store, this is a lovely place to have lunch or dinner. Not a kids place really, better for a meeting or a date. The Bistro Burger was fantastic, the soup was amazing (Moroccan beef). We had a brie appetizer, it was so yummy!!! For drinks, we had raspberry bellinis and pomegranate punch. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is excellent. It is very busy at lunchtime. Bravo! Definitely will be returning here soon :) I forgot to mention the ambiance is lovely and the service is excellent as well.
This is a great place to stop for a meal, a quick bite, a drink, or have a business meeting. Wi-Fi is available. There is bar seating available inside. Great atmosphere and fairly quiet even when there are several people dining. Comfortable seating at tables and booths. Staff is very friendly and professional.. Menu is small small but diverse with a rotating specialty offering. Several wines available. Calm, simple, and classy interior space.
Great cocktails! The roasted red pepper coconut bisque was exquisite! Highly recommend if your looking for a high end dining experience.
Seriously enjoyed my birthday dinner at Ambrosia! The service was perfect, recommendations were on point, curry was so so good, and the bread pudding was legendary! Will definitely dine here again.
Came in this evening for the first time. My friend and I celebrated our birthdays with your wonderful staff and lovely atmosphere. The food was perfect and the beverages delicious! You catered to our palettes, our appetites and our spirits! Thank you so much for a memorable evening!
Love this place. Great food. Great service. If you have an STCU card you buy one get one entre free or a % off if alone. It's on the smaller intimate side, and also has a bar.great wine selection.
What a gem! This is one of my husbands favorite places and I've never had the chance to go. Went finally last weekend for our 3 year anniversary and Ambrosia did not disappoint! Exceeded 3 years of anticipation and expectation. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone! Our server Jessica was warm and friendly and the wine and food are fantastic! 10/10
Excellent service and wonderful food. Ahi tuna was seared to perfection. Calamari was so very good. Would definitely go back again. Really enjoyed our evening after a long day on the road
We had a seasonal bruschetta and it was 10/10 super delicious! I loved it. The pear martini I had was sooo yummy. Burger and sweet potato fries were delicious!
We were able to get in yesterday at 4 for an early dinner! We chose French Dips and Stella Artois! Best way to end the year! Delicious! HNY!!!
I absolutely love the food here!!! The atmosphere is beautiful inside and out. Great place to see the sunset. The staff is nice too.
This is the perfect spot for a date or a ladies' night out; I love coming here for lunch with my girlfriends when we're out shopping in the area. Menu includes typical American bistro fare: appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta, and seasonal dishes. Great selection of wines and mixed drinks. If you're going for dinner (especially on weekends), call and make a reservation!
Thoroughly enjoyed the porcini purses. My wife and I shared that entree. But our favorite by far was the bruschetta app. 😯 Absolutely over the moon delicious. Pair it with a Cabernet, you will love it.
I had the chicken and asparagus special, and it was absolutely incredible! Tanner was our server, and he went above and beyond—truly some of the best service we've ever experienced. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to try somewhere new in Spokane!
Always great. Interesting dishes, well seasoned and esthetic. My favorite when in Spokane.
Wanted a quiet place for a business meeting amd that is exactly what we got! The food and service were impeccable! Thank you!
The food was delicious. The short ribs were so tender and the sauce for the pasta dish we tried was rich and delightful.
We love this place. We love the Cajun pasta and we just get it without meat. It’s sooo good and they always put extra veggies. The server was great. The owners are amazing and put their heart into their business. Very good place to eat in Spokane
I had been to Ambrosia a couple of times over the last few years. Once with my husband, and once with a good friend. Both visits were very nice. Then my husband passed away unexpectedly in December, 2024. I came to Ambrosia a few weeks after my husband's passing to have lunch, alone. Lauren, my server (don't know if that's the correct spelling) was just as sweet as she could be. It was so comfortable to be in a setting, alone, but feeling ok. When you suddenly become a widow, its hard to find a place to go out and feel comfortable, Ambrosia provided that safe space. All of the folks that work there are so kind and so nice, and I am so appreciative. I highly recommend Ambrosia, not only for the amazing food but also for the awesome staff.
I cannot say enough good things about Ambrosia! We were on our way back from hiking at Mt. Spokane & after a quick look at restaurants on our route, we chose Ambrosia. It definitely exceeded our expectations. First, the atmosphere is very nice & quiet and their booths provide some privacy between diners. The food is phenomenal! We ordered the pork with apple chutney, soup of the day, and their ambrosia salad with blackened salmon. They also bring delicious bread to the table. All of our dishes were prepared, cooked and presented to perfection. The pork is so very tender. We also shared the bread pudding drizzled with caramel & bourbon ice cream. It is incredible esp since theirs is crispy on the outside. The prices are very reasonable esp for the quality of the food. Final note, the service is excellent. Our server waited on us right away, checked back frequently and our meals were brought to the table in a timely manner. I highly recommend dining here when in the Spokane Valley area!!
I've always enjoyed Ambrosia. Almost every special night with my wife is here. It's great service with fantastic food and expertly crafted drinks. The service has always been great as well. It's definitely not the cheapest place in town but I've never regretted it.
My wife and I went out to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We have lived in Spokane valley for 20 years and this is the first time we have ever been to ambrosia bistro and wine bar. When we walked in we were greeted immediately and we met our server by the name of Sarah on a scale of 1 to 10 as far as servers go The best I can give her is a 17 absolutely fantastic young lady. Extremely attentive and very very nice. The food oh my goodness we have stopped going out a lot it's hard to find a place that we really like this place has become our number one haven't experienced food this good in a long time in Spokane valley on a scale of 1 to 10 they get a 16 nothing can beat Sarah. Thank you for being there and we will be back many more times. And yes I will tell everyone I know, ambrosia is the place to go. Thank you once again from send Jim
Great food, I felt as though I had to flag my server down multiple times for things.
Relaxing atmosphere, and good food. Our server Jessica was attentive but not very friendly/personable. Almost robot like. I had the salmon which was very good and my wife had the steak which was also very good. Started with the calamari and it was cooked perfectly and not overly battered with a very tasty dipping sauce.
Wowzers, A Foodie Destination!! I had heard great things about Ambrosia Bistro in Spokane Valley so like any good Foodie I had to experience it myself. Ambrosia has a subtle elegance to it, it’s a great spot for solo dining, couples, date night, Business dinners and group outings. The menu is very condensed as the chef and the team at Ambrosia focus on producing great food and a great experience. I had a locally-sourced beet salad with mixed greens dressed in an orange vinaigrette with roasted beets, toasted almonds, and goat cheese and then an amazing Pork Tenderloin dish grilled with pear and thyme jus, accompanied by stone ground mustard and balsamic glazed roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetable that was tender and cooked with care and pride. I matched that as the menu recommends with a glass of Callia Malbec. My server took very good care of me and timed the courses perfectly. This is one of the better restaurants in Spokane and the SpokaneValley area. The food is reasonably priced and they a great wine list to pair with their amazing dishes. This is a highly ranked restaurant on TripAdvisor and Yelp and rightly so. Please stop in and eat there if you’re ever in the area!!
Typically not my style of restaurant but my wife is a fan. On Friday, August 20, we walked into Ambrosia about 75 minutes before they closed. We were meeting another couple there who ended up showing up late (about 30 minutes before the closed). While waiting for the rest of our party arrived, we ordered drinks and their sweet potato fries with a Graham masala sauce as an appetizer and it was amazing. For our entrees, I ordered the club sandwich and a cup of French Onion Soup. The soup was good but nothing spectacular. The sandwich was smaller than I was expecting but packed with flavor. My wife ordered the Cajun Pasta which she enjoyed. Because the couple we met showed up late, we stayed about 30 minutes past closing. The staff at Ambrosia was very patient and did not rush us at all. Big shoutout to our server, Jake. He knew the menu very well and was very friendly and attentive. 4 stars
Great menu offering, great drink menu, lovely decor. The *only* thing that made my experience less than fabulous was the noise. It was a Friday night, but the concrete floors & walls made every voice echo to the point my date and I could barely hear each other across the small table over the other patrons. Maybe some area rugs or some other noise-dampening measures could be taken. It wasn't such a large place that we should have been drowned out like we were, the noise should have required twice as many ppl to rise to that level.
I have always wanted to try this place. Some mother and I went for lunch. We both had the Bistro burger 8 oz of Wayne beef. It was quite good and served on a brioche bun. The service was prompt and friendly. The place is impeccably clean. It is abit to higher end when it comes to price. But I felt it was worth it.
The service was a bit slow for how few customers there were, but the food was pretty good. The only downside was the brussel sprouts were burnt instead of roasted.
Nice waitress. Decent food but not great. Pricey. Modest atmosphere. End store in mall
Service was below expectations from other reviews we read. Had reservations prior so we were seated under 10 mins. Party of 10 services were very very slow. Drinks were pricey. Food was very over priced for quality and portions. Flavors bland, food was served hot despite extended wait. Cute place and vibe. Overall there for food and drinks so since they lack in many areas we can't recommend for prices and costs.
We normally love this place, but we walked in to celebrate a bday dinner with a big group and immediately were taken aback by the smell of mold/mildew. All of us noticed and the smell was too bad we had to leave and 10 minutes later (at the next restaurant), we still smell it. Hopefully they get this fixed ASAP as I don’t know how anyone could dine, let alone “fine dine” in that aroma.
It might have been an off day or maybe their restaurant week items weren’t that great, but there was something off with each of our dishes. The lamb was fall off the bone tender, but was oddly cool and unseasoned. Some of the squash was actually dried out completely while others were mush. The Crema brûlée had blood orange slices on top that tasted like butane. We saw tables that looked like they had good food in front of them. Maybe we just had bad luck...?
If you have dietary restrictions do not, I repeat, DO NOT come here!! The staff lied about having pork in a dish. Not only did I become violently ill but it was a massive indecency to my religious faith. Litigation is commencing, lawsuit will be filed. I have spoken with the owner and was faced with only a cold shoulder. The food wasn't even good... what a pathetic place with disgusting owners!!
