It's a shame there aren't 6 stars, otherwise we would have given them. Let's just say we had a wonderful experience with all the staff, starting with Diana, who looked after us in the months leading up to the wedding. She was smiling, friendly, and incredibly professional, the perfect mix of qualities a person in this profession needs; fantastic. The experience that led us to choose La Madonnina (one of three catering providers at Villa Montalbano, where we celebrated our wedding) involved several steps we'd like to share so that anyone reading this review can get a sense of our wonderful experience: a first dinner (free) at the La Madonnina restaurant in Cogliate, where you begin to learn about the dishes and their style of cooking; after this dinner, if you choose this restaurant, you sign the contract and move on to the second dinner (free) where you refine your choices for the various dishes, obviously previously chosen; If you're unsure about something, there's the option of a third dinner (which is also free, but we didn't do it because we were already sure what to choose). After the tastings, we move on to the mise en place and table plan, where all the tables, chairs, etc. in stock are chosen from a vast assortment built on the top floor of the restaurant. On the wedding day, we were accompanied through every phase of the day, discreetly, and without even realizing it, we made it to the end. The quality of the food was excellent, and we were satisfied, as were all the guests, who complimented us on our choice. Congratulations again to all the staff, including Giovanni, who was professional and very friendly. We will definitely return to the restaurant for dinner. 10-09-2025 F&D

We chose La Madonnina di Cogliate catering for our wedding, and it was truly the best choice we could have made! They looked after us with incredible care, every step of the way, accommodating our every request. The food and service were simply perfect! As a celiac, I was worried it might be a problem, but they managed to accommodate everything, and no one noticed that most of the dishes were gluten-free… wonderful! All our guests complimented us on the quality of the food, the generous portions, and the kindness of the entire staff. A special thank you to Diana, who assisted us with professionalism, kindness, and friendliness both during the planning and on the big day. She's a wonderful person, like the rest of the team. Thank you again, so much from the bottom of my heart, for making our day unforgettable!

We had the pleasure of choosing this caterer for our wedding and couldn't be more satisfied. From the moment we tasted the menu at the restaurant, we were impressed by the high quality of the food, the variety of options, and the care taken in preparing the dishes. They proved to be competent, helpful, and always ready to meet our every need, even offering valuable advice. On the wedding day, everything was impeccable: from appetizers to desserts, every course was perfect. The appetizer stations were always well-stocked, and the re-ordering of first and second courses allowed all guests to enjoy each dish at their leisure. We received numerous compliments from our guests. Diana, always available from the first meeting, attentive and ready to assist us with any questions or requests. We contacted La Madonnina for our wedding in May 2025, and from the very first moment, they proved extremely helpful, kind, and attentive. Since we organized everything from abroad, opportunities for visits or meetings were rare and often arranged at the last minute, but the team was always flexible and ready to adapt to our needs. Even with last-minute changes, they proved impeccable: always quick to respond, helpful, and professional. During the event, we had many guests with allergies, intolerances, or special requests, and the team handled everything with great care. We received countless compliments both on the organization and the quality of the dishes. The food was excellent and everyone loved it, even those with special needs who received customized dishes, always with the same care and flavor. Their presence and professionalism were crucial to the success of the day: knowing we could count on them gave us great peace of mind. It's been years since I've been to this restaurant... it's a shame I've lost out. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the venue is elegant, with tasteful details, and the food is excellent, everything is truly delicious. I went there at lunchtime and they had a "work" menu at a really reasonable price. I recommend it and will definitely try to return soon. ;)
