The pulled pork / sandwich / Signal 30 sause, mac & cheese were SO GOOD. They don't have Diet Mountain Dew, Coke Zero, Pepsi Zero; so if you wear an insulin pump like me - get a nice cold glass of water. The service ladies were very nice. I had to be somewhere to drive so I didn't get to eat it for a half hour (a me problem), but even a half hour later EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. 👍

Food was out of this 🌎. Had the fries with pickles, fried chicken sammy, jive turkey wrap and bonus onion rings. From the flavor, to the portions, to the delivery, they did not disappoint once again. Keep up the great work!!

The food was absolutely amazing. Everybody loved it! The pulled pork and macaroni and cheese was to die for! The sausage, peppers, and onions which I thought were Italian sweet sausages, but they weren’t. They were extremely spicy and nobody barely ate them other than that, I highly recommend this place. Also, the two servers that we had were outstanding!

I came in yesterday for ribs and brisket takeout. Brisket was great, but the ribs were extremely dry. I called next day to complain and Megan answered the phone. She was extremely helpful and pleasant and above and beyond to take care of me I will always come back here now and she’s made a forever customer

Let me start by saying I’m retired airline and love barbecue so have had it all over the US. I am enjoying the 1/4 chicken dinner and to start with the chicken is nice and moist with a unique barbecue sauce that has a hint of spice, sugar and not overdone with too much sugar or spice but just right. Now onto the Mac and cheese. This is creamy and if I didn’t know better think they made it with a good Gouda cheese. Now the show stopper is the baked beans!!! These could be a meal by themselves with great flavor and perfect size pieces of meat which is super tender. I highly recommend anyone try this place and I will be returning

Have you ever been to a BBQ in the southwest completely catered by a 70 year old authentic old school pit king with sweat on his brow, an apron stained with blood, and absolutely no plastic cafeteria lunch gloves in sight? No? Then you probably wouldn't appreciate the simple pure flavor and HEAT🔥 at Signal 30 in Cohoes. My husband had to do that thing where you suck air in to blow on your food because it's too spicy. I had the pulled chicken, which I can only compare to one of those cakes that looks like an actual object but then you realize you've under estimated it because really it's a cake! #flavorbomb And I now have to apologize to my Great Grandma Teen, as she rolls over in her grave, because the baked beans were perfectly Al dente (can beans be that or is it reserved for pasta?), Not too Sweet, and the level of smoke and meat was on point. Also, if I played a drinking game where I took a drink every time our server checked in us, I'd be HAMMERED right now writing this. Positively Hammered. I have failed to mention how often my family goes out for ice cream instead of eating dinner during the summer.... I scored extra "Mom Points" for actually feeding them real food before ice cream tonight. The desert dishes are all named after nostalgic WWF stars (be still, my fan girl heart) and Six Year Old approved 💕

Ok where to start. First time in. The Mac and cheese OMG. Then the pulled pork basket burger was so tender. The staff short handed and all did a spectacular job. Definitely returning agian. Top 3 all time favorite places to eat.

Looks like a great bar, but I was there for the barbecue. They didn't do too well. I ordered the burnt end special. Served on a brioche roll, burnt ends were topped with pimento cheese and in-house pickled onions. It was a mess. The burnt ends were tough. The onions exceptionally thick and the pimento cheese was lost in the mix. I picked up the sandwich to take a bite and 90% of the filling shot out onto my plate. Burnt ends are the crowning achievement of the pitmaster. These guys missed the mark. I guess that's why they smothered them in cheese.

Customer service was great but this is the second time that the food messed up. I went one time and about half my family got stomach problems, thankfully I didn’t so we went again today and DON’T get the bbq boneless wing appetizer because my stomach got really messed up and it was awful and it was not even that worth it, I only had about 5 wings. Staff and environment was great though but not the food

I ordered the 2 meat bbq platter with ribs and brisket a side of Mac and cheese, coleslaw, and onion rings. The most flavorful thing I ordered were the onion rings, sad to say, they were good but very greasy, they need some time to drain, my bag was soaked in oil. The ribs were cooked nicely, but had absolutely no flavor. The brisket was a bit dry, but again, absolutely no flavor. The Mac and cheese wasn't too bad, it was creamy, but could've used a bit more seasoning. The coleslaw was also bland, but it's not really my thing anyway. The staff was nice, but the inside could definitely use some updating. Unfortunately, nothing I tried would make me want to return.

It’s it looks like a great place to get drinks. The staff was super friendly. The food however was not the best. There was no flavor. I got the brisket loaded potato, it was all so flavorless. I come from a place very near to real tacos, the tacos here are, I don’t have words. The ground beef tasted worse then spam, and it also had no salt. Those two things are not good. But it looks like a cool place to have fries and drinks, although I can’t vouch for the fries or the drinks.

I ordered the Hercules platter with the brisket, ribs and pulled pork. I also ordered the jerk chicken tacos, a side of macaroni and cheese, and 10 Carolina Gold wings along with onion rings. Hercules plate came with texas toast, coleslaw and pickles. I’ll start with the good and say that the Texas toast was good along with the Jerk Chicken tacos. The jerk chicken tacos had a lot of flavor as the chicken in the tacos was, smokey, juicy, and tender. The Texas toast was very buttery and just a nice piece of toast. And the onion rings were also crispy and fresh(although served in a greasy brown bag)…..As far as everything else it was a disappointment to say the least. While the ribs and pulled pork were cooked well as far as being tender and having a nice smokey profile…..they completely lacked flavor. There wasn’t a hint of salt or pepper and it just was just very bland (although cooked well). The brisket on the other hand was just straight up not good. Very very dry like leather, very bland, and just really not well done. It was the worst thing that I ordered. The Mac and cheese was also bland but worth the try. The Carolina gold wings were decent and also at least worth the try. To summarize this meal it was just bland, and dry….at least I can say I tried it!

Purchase a take out recently ,a combination with two sides.$33.00, the brisket looked and tasted like I was made a week ago, pulled pork was not freshly prepared, ribs as well looked and tasted like they were made a week ago, the onion rings were wrapped in a oil soaked bag.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Signal 30. My two friends and I went together, and we were the only Black people there. When we showed our IDs to order a drink, the staff implied they were fake and even said we didn’t look like our pictures. I look exactly like my ID photo literally and so does my friend. It was clear they didn’t want us there. After leaving, I went back in to show additional forms of ID and multiple cards with my name on them, yet he still insisted my ID was fake. This felt like blatant racial profiling, and no one should be treated this way. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
