I love this place they’re under new management and new staff customer service is good and I don’t mind waiting on fresh hot chicken it’s the best the new manager is doing her thing in there and it shows

Best church's ever.they take pride in their food. This was at one time the best Church's. In the last 6 months they are either not opened on time and if they do, the food is not ready. The girl working told me it would be 15 mins before food ready or I could go to KFC. I went to Popeyes and she did me a favor. The chicken was excellent and service was great. NEVER CHURCH'S AGAIN!

The lady who waited on my daughter and me was courteous and caring (my daughter is disabled). She was also honest. I gave her too much money; she handed the extra back and explained. The shrimp and tenders platters were also delicious and filling.

Well went there yesterday. Got the 7 Piecs with the large mashed potatoes and I added a large coleslaw. Very reasonable price. Church's has been my favorite for years. Since I've lived in Bryan all my life. It's my go to for Chicken. Now I moved to college station and went to the Church's chicken here. Nope it's nasty not clean and disgusting I drove to the drive thru it was old and ragged I didn't trust to order from there and I drove right thru the drive thru. Didn't order nothing. So when I want my chicken I go all the way to Bryan to get my Church's. The lady that waited on me yesterday was Awesome. Very nice the food was fresh and perfect order I came back home and it was ready to eat. So I ate a little. And it was so good. Best Chicken ever. It's worth the trip to Bryan for me. The date I went was on Wednesday Jan 5th. Please it was after 12 noon. So please tell the lady that ran the register window. That she was very nice and my order was great. And I'll be back.

what happened to the size of the chicken. drumsticks are so small and the thighs that we've grown to love are half the size but the pieces are high. the sign stated 2 pieces of chicken $8.

The customer service from one of the managers was very poor food had no seasoning mashed potatoes or watery. Upon calling in reference to my meal, the manager, which was a female was very rude hung the phone up in my face and did not want to answer. Needed some chicken for a small gathering (had brisket,ham hocks n beans,etc) went thru drive-thru and ordered 2 16 piece orders. Had food in about a minute. And so much less saltier than Popeyes or KFC. So much better in my opinion.

I’m so conflicted with this review. The chicken was fantastic this time according to my husband. Sometimes at this location it could be hit or miss. Today was a hit. However, I wanted to give ZERO stars because of what I saw as my food was handed to me. One of the employees took the trash out before my food was made. He talked to someone out there for a few so he never touched my food at this point. I have no idea about beforehand. Anyway, He politely walked himself right on in there and started working on frying more chicken. I could not consume anything from there because I couldn’t get the image out of my head. I explained it to my husband but he’s a good ol country boy and was like I’m immune so I don’t care. Well I’m not immune to unsanitary conditions. I have a weak stomach. I would say maybe retrain the staff on hand washing. Other than that this location can still get my business.

First of all, their chicken and their prices are fabulous. Staff is friendly and attentive, and the interior is quite clean. The location itself has some problems: inside, they could probably do with three fewer tables and a dozen fewer chairs, and the parking lot is almost comically tight, with the line for a strangely-situated drive-through cutting across most of it.

It's been a while since I been there , I quit going cause their chicken always taste like burn oil , it also smell bad , my grandbabies wanted to go there . I was surprised they were really good , chicken didn't have burn taste , french fries crispy , corn sweet , I'll take my babies there again , we all enjoy it , The place wasn't smelly , it was clean.

The chicken tenders here are kind of rubbery. Much better tenders at wings and more or even chicken express. The gravy for the tenders had more lumps than Rosanne Barr's thighs. Best thing about the meal was the mashed potatoes if you can believe that. The honey butter biscuits are worth the trip

Service always slow but I understand bc they consistently cooking chicken so it can be hot when served. Okra sometimes too greasy not drained properly.

It takes the employees a minute to go and get your order right and the dining area is completely dirty they don't clean up right after you're done so if you're planning on eating there make sure you have a little time.

First time ordering at this location, wasn't impressed. A few of my mixed chicken were dry and didn't get eaten and my jalapeno bombers were overcooked. They were hollow inside because all the filling had been cooked out. The rest of the meal with good, they'll get another shot at dinner.

I used to love their Buffalo chicken that was made here, but they took it off their menu! Reason for score is just mediocre fast food chicken. I went with their 3 pc chicken tenders and my husband tried their spicy chicken sandwich, and both were good. I wanted to change out my biscuit because I love their mashed potatoes, but I was not given that option. The manager and cook there was nice, but the cashier didn’t even bother to look up from her phone when we walked to the counter. Good timing with food readiness.

The food was hot and my order seemed right. The employee taking our order cut us off before we could finish our order. We had to let him know we were not done. Then he walked out after 25 minutes hands us our food. My wife says thank you while they looked at each other he just turned and walked away. Part of our side order was not correct. They are always out out spicy stuff. This used to be a better place. This is the second time i had issues with this place.

Last week, I pick up a family box of chicken, that's all I got. I didn't get any biscuits with (used to get biscuits with chicken only orders) the cashier kept making faces and I think rolled her eyes when I was ordering. Unfortunately, my disappointment didn't end there; the chicken was bland, I mean practically without taste. I used to love Church's chicken, I grew up eating it every week, but this visit just made me wish I had gone to KFC or Popeye's.

I waited a very long time for the drive thru person to take my order and again at the drive thru window I ended up waiting around 15-20 minutes just to get someone to come to the window and take my payment. At least the food was in hand when they came to the window I guess. And the young lady at the window was sincerely apologetic. The food was a decent temperature but I thought the chicken could have been hotter.

Went there to get an 8pc meal with mashed potatoes, added on okra, with a drink no-ice. First my drink had ice right off bat, then when we got our food we didn't get our okra so we had to go back inside to get it. Once we got home I noticed we were missing our biscuits which to me are the best part. Not to mention the chicken was cold and had to be reheated, and the okra tasted old and like the oil hasn't been changed either. All in all food and experience not worth the price

The food was fine but the service was terrible. No acknowledgement that I was even there, much less a welcome. No "We'll be with you in just a minute." Not even eye contact. It's dirty, too. Walk in, turn around, and look at the exit sign; filthy. Parking and traffic pattern for the drive-thru are terrible. If you park in front, you get trapped by the vehicles in line waiting to order. I'm going to be in the area often for work but I won't be back.

I recently visited Church's Texas Chicken and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The service was incredibly slow, and when I finally received my order, it was incorrect. The staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in making things right. Overall, I was very disappointed with my visit and would not recommend this location to anyone looking for a quick and easy meal

We drove all the way to Bryan from college station for the biscuits. When I get home I noticed that they didn’t give us the biscuits included in our family meal or the extra we payed for! When we called to get a refund for the extras at least, they just said to “come on thru”. They knew we weren’t going to make the drive for some biscuits. Horrible customer service and I will never be buying from this establishment again.

Dont try and go late. The lazy employees that work there ALWAYS close early. So much as 30 minutes before actual closing times. In the past few months that I've gone they have been closed and it's well before they should be actually, based on their store hours.

I tried ordering a family meal but was called an a$$hole when I told them I wanted to upgrade to a slightly larger meal. Just trying to get the most food for the dollar for my employees. What stinks is I usually like dealing with all the employees there and have even gotten them energy drinks before but this new girl is horrible. I can spend my money elsewhere.

The Church's Chicken at 507 N Texas Ave, Bryant Tx, need a lesson in customer service; especially their manager. Specific, I went to this Church's Chicken on 01/31/2022 and order a 10 piece; not realizing it didn't come with biscuits. When I got to the window I asked the cashier how many biscuits/rolls does it comes with, before the cashier could answer, her manager standing in the background telling her she can't take orders at the window. First problem, the manager was out of place and was not allowing the cashier to do her job, because at that point I wasn't asking to purchase anything I was only asking a question. Secondly, no other cars were in line; I was literally the only car in line so what was the big issue. I proceeded to ask the price, and yet again the manager blurred out that she "can't take orders at the window", so, I said no other cars are in line. Then the cashier said "I'm only telling you what my manager said", "you have to pull back around and place your order because of the 'clock'." I told the cashier to tell her manager she can keep her chicken since she worrying about the 'clock' and, I pulled off.

Read the reviews and please listen to them !!!! Their was someone literally an employee licking their fingers and eating chicken and then serving us. We had half our food when I saw it and asked for a refund. The old man said “ I made that chicken “ Sir I don’t care who made it. That’s nasty !!! He then proceeded with an attitude. Gave us the wrong refund amount. It was short $10 So he is rude and can’t count lol.

If I could give it zero I would. I walked in with my daughter. Stood there for about ten mins. The lady asked me for my order so I give it to her. She then puts in a order for the drive thru in the front register and says just a min. I then wait 15 more mins for her to come and ask me for my order again. I tell her their service is horrible and leave. There were 3 other employees there and only one other seemed to be doing anything. They need to learn to work as a team and not just watch other people work. I will not be going back to this location.

Got here at 1030 am needed to place a 80 piece chicken order the women wouldn’t let me in door locked but open at 1030am kept saying 30 min in a non English language for a company lunching went to drive thru again she told me I couldn’t order until 11am due to no chicken made yet…. Dining room was closed which should have been a hint. Employees must have lost the seasonings. If their chicken always taste like that do us all a favor and shut the doors for good.

I've gotten terrible customer service from this location before but after an extended period of time decided to give them another shot. Ordered a chicken sandwich and other items and paid for every thing online. Was told that they haven't had the chicken sandwich for 2 months due to management not filling the order. This place is ridiculous.

Absolutely horrible here. Doesn't deserve even 1 star. Service was horrible. Cashier was extremely rude. Didn't even bother to explain anything. They weren't even near to closing time and was out of everything. I left sad, mad, and disrespected. The price was ridiculous for what I got also.

Cashier Candis was very rude. She did not bother to add my coupon to my order and charged me full price. I unfortunately noticed it later as well as the order being incomplete (missing chicken, wrong sides). Also, when kindly asked to add something small to my order, she responded snapping to get back in line again. Who would honestly do that? It’s ridiculous to do that when you’re already right there. It does not make sense.

Service was poor. Upon arrival, there was a long line to order which took us about 10-15 to order. After our order was taken we waited 20 mins to even get out order started. There were three staff, one of them was just walking around wandering around the store when the other two could’ve gotten more help. The cashier and the manager need help in taking orders and having it done better and with a prompt time. Never coming back here.

Tables had not been wiped off. Staff was wrapping her blonde braids up on top of her head while behind the line by the food. Had to wait for ten minutes for biscuits during mid afternoon on Sunday no rush but nothing was ready. No gloves handling food and no hats. Please avoid if you like sanitary conditions. Ordering process was quick, but when I came around the drivethrough payment was taken then returned and was given drinks (no straws) and asked to pull up by a shed. Ended up waiting about 15 minutes for 2 tender combos containing chicken that was not edible and found a hair stuck on a honey biscuit.

The customer service is always close to horrible here, but I always typically ignore it. But now it’s beyond ridiculous. Since they have a website. I decided to order my food online let it be ready by pick up. BIG MISTAKE the first issue was you have the door locked at 12noon with no type of signs as to why or anything. Two I pull up in drive through tell her I ordered online what the order was she said you gotta go online and cancel it we ain’t got chicken sandwiches. I said huh it’s not giving me that options there is no way to contact customer service can you do it here or just change it out. Mind you it’s a $20 dollar order the chicken sandwich was just $5. She said it wasn’t her problem and she can’t help me. Online doesn’t have an option to request refunds nor cancel order the order I had to contact my bank to get my money back ridiculous. Went here more than 2 hours before close to order after driving from the other now closed location just to be met with the worst attitude at the drive through that I have ever experienced out of a customer service "professional". I was refused to be served and the lady stated that she was closing for a laundry list of reason that had nothing to do with a lack of food. She went so far as to come out of the establishment screaming at me as I pulled around 😯. Really I just wanted some chicken and some honey biscuits for my family. KFC employees were super nice though....

Walked in to order. One customer was given two jalapenos and didn't have to pay for them. The employees all turned their backs on us, didn't make any effort to help us.. Five minutes went by and we left......still a black and white thing going on U guess....what a shame.....

I waited approximately 35 minutes just to get a 2 piece chicken meal. The people there are super super super slow. If you in a hurry, you will be late if you stop there.

I ordered the shrimp special. It came with 4 butterfly shrimp, 2 tenders, a honey biscuit. Neither the chicken nor shrimp was fresh. I asked for cocktail sauce and the employee said, we ain't got none". The whole time she was taking my order she was talking to a young man that she obviously knew. This was for a take out order and date of my visit was March 19, 2921.

This is the worst Church's Chicken I've ever been to. Nobody knows what they are doing half of them don't even speak English and can't understand what you're saying. The manager black woman is extremely rude. I would avoid this restaurant like it's the plague and take your money somewhere else because they honestly do not care about their customers at all

Came to grab food for the evening. Waited at the drive thru speaker for a good 10 mins until we were finally greeted. The gentleman that was working drive had asked what he could get us. Then a woman who I’m presuming was the manager got on the speaker to ask us to come inside because they were “slammed” i get it when there is rushes but we had already waited at the speaker and then there was a line in lobby. So why would i wait even more when the gentleman was about to take our order. Then they both proceeded to argue over the speaker while his headset was on. She was saying she was going fire him. He then said he didn’t care about getting fired. We just drove off. If that’s how a manager treats their employee i can see why they are “always hiring” hence the sign on the building.

After watching several videos on social media of ppl eating and enjoying Church's, I'd decided to give it another try after 8 years of abstaining the place. I should have continued!! The chicken was so small it resembled drummettes! The biscuit was dry, and the okra was cold. I waited 20 minutes for this!! Never again will they get my money!

After a long drive to this location, meeting the girl in the window was rude and she purposely gave me a 2pc instead of a 3pc! She rushed me when I was trying to decide what I wanted to order. I could feel the prejudice vibes. While she was prepping my food, I could hear the other workers complaining about having to work. I wouldn't trust food from here. They food poison. I didn't even eat my food after checking the reviews. I threw it all away and I won't ever come back to this location! I ordered 2 2pc Texas feast for 3.99 comes with a biscuit and a jalapeno I told Stephanie I didn’t want the biscuits so she charged me 4.39 each I asked for a extra jalapeno and a medium Dr Pepper I asked the blonde lady why was it so much she asked Stephanie why she charged me 4.39 she said because I didn’t want the biscuits I got my food and I asked did I get my jalapeños the blonde lady told her to go get me another one so I should have gotten 3 but got only 2 I called to talk to the manager and the boy said I can tell him so I was telling him and I guess the manager asked what it was about and he said over some jalapenos like it was nothing no my order was wrong and over charged

Ordered the 2 piece feast spicy . As soon as I swallowed the chicken I started to vomit violently. Never again I thought I was dying . Food poisoning my stomach was in knots . This is only location left in BCS and it's straight trash now . The older folks who was in the location always made sure the food was fresh.

10/23/2025 This is the absolute worst chicken I have ever gotten from here. Usually Churches is my go to but not this time. I placed an order to go with the legs and thighs meal, 10 piece. Every single piece of chicken had no flavor, was completely dried out as though it was old, just didn't look appetizing. Tasting it unfortunately was worse. The spicy 5 piece strips looked like they hadn't hardly been cooked at all with very little seasoning. I think it will be a while before ordering again. Churches is the absolute best in my book so long as it's hot and fresh, Yum with a capital Y!!!

Tonight I went and bought a 15 piece chicken tender family meal and the tenders ended up being over fried, super crusted, and couldn’t even eat the chicken. The tenders look like chicken breast that look like they should’ve been cut. Overall i don’t know what happened to this place !

Don't waste your time, don't waste your money. Even on the smallest order you will be pulled up and have to wait 15 minutes. Then they'll just hand you the food and walk away with zero apologies. The staff never really seem to give a damn about customer service or their attitudes.

🚨FOOD SAFETY IS A NO-NO in this place. "Oven Baked MacNCheese" ha! This cup of foam was microwaved to the point where you can even see through. Asked for a chicken sandwich and got only a bun & meat there were no pickles and barely any sauce. It made me laugh at how bad it was and how simple I ordered. If they treated a simple meal & side like this and didn't care imagine what they can do to your meal. GO TO CANES or anywhere else. First and LAST time I order from here 👎🏻
