My previous experience was horrible but tried Denny's again. Chelsea is AMAZING! She took great care of our table and always had a smile on her face. The food was perfect tempature and cooked just right. I recommend asking for Chelsea as a server if you stop by, there's not many servers like her these days.
We had a very large party and Diego took care of us to perfection. He was so kind, and very attentive towards our table, highly recommend this place, and if y'all get Diego as a server, know your in great hands.

We had such a great breakfast at Denny’s! The food was exactly what we needed, but the highlight of our visit was our server, Jessie. He was so sweet, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It’s not often you come across someone so kind and personable Jessie really made our morning! We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Jessie, for the amazing service!

Went to breakfast and Diego our server was amazing. Very quick and got us everything we needed. The food was delicious. Francisco the manager was very friendly as he came and talked to us making sure we had a great experience.

My wife and I really enjoyed our breakfast! Everything was hot and fresh . It was quick and friendly service. We had the pleasure of having DeVon as our server . Carla and Linda were absolute joys! Greeted warmly and with everything squared away, I felt so excited to come to Denny's this morning! Between the tasty food and the welcoming environment, I couldn't think of a better place to spend my morning out after a night shift. I want more people like Carla and Linda to be part of my days. Got the Bourbon Bacon Burger with onion rings and there's no other way to fix that early morning burger craving.
I've had Jackie a few times as my server, and each time she goes above and beyond, always checking up on my table making sure we enjoy our experience! 10/10 recommend her!

Firstly, night manager was a sweetheart (I regretfully have forgotten her name). I came in with a group of 3 other girls to come study. She asked if we just wanted to study or order, I thought that was nice. A cozy place to study with a group at night when wanting a change of scenery from the library, as long as you are okay with noise when larger crowds come. Our food came out in decent time and was nice and warm! Of course when you go to Denny’s you must expect Denny’s quality food. All to say, the meals we received looked like the pictures in the menu, yumm. My friends also said they really enjoyed the hash browns. The music they played was a good addition to our stay. Once the restaurant got more busy (around 10 pm), the staff was on top of everything including cleaning up and sanitizing the tables (I appreciated that a lot). **our opinions: Denny’s pancakes taste better than the IHOP here**

Our waiter was fantastic! The omelette itself was good, but I would have preferred a little more of the filling. It seemed to be lacking. Other than that as always this place is clean, the service is quick, and their restrooms are clean!

This is the best place in town to get a hot meal and study as long as you need. The service is consistently great (Amy is one of the stars of the show) and the tables are always pretty clean. I’d like to gatekeep this location, but they’ve gotten me through many hard semesters and late nights. Would recommend.
This is a shout out to Jackie! She gave surpurb service, she has a easy going personality and that was awesome since it really early in the morning 🙂 the food was great, restaurant clean and well lit. Linda was quick in taking our order and delivered the food as quickly as possible even though she was handling a very large group besides my small group. She followed up when necessary and made sure the coffee drinkers always had coffee. Everyone's order was correct.
Carla is always so hospitable. I am a regular, and she brings my drink when she sees my car pull up. She has the perfect balance of being attentive without being obtrusive. Denny’s is lucky to have her!

Loved the environment and everyone there they were very friendly and so nice and to top it it was on Christmas Eve at that! And the manager Alyssa was not only very nice she was helpful to us also I liked how her and her team was not only in good spirits but all seem to get along really well and even made us all laugh a couple times lol will be going back hope to get to get the same people again!
Easy 5 star. Tasty food, great atmosphere, and clean restaurant worthy of a 4 star. The 5th star goes to the waiters. Great service, and I came in the middle of a hectic breakfast rush and they still did great. Came out to 25ish dollars including the tip if memory serves, which is a great price for a "once in a blue moon" treat yourself breakfast.
My significant other and I came to Denny’s because we really wanted some breakfast food. Upon arrival we were seated immediately our waiter was attentive. We both ended up getting stuff French toast. I got the berry French toast and he got the banana caramel stuff French toast, both great options. They also have turkey bacon options, which are great. very straightforward breakfast place you can’t go wrong.

The portions were generous and the prices very reasonable. The heart healthy skillet had an excellent mix of veggies, red potatoes and egg whites, but had no spices of any sort, which was quite surprising. But what topped this visit was the excellent service. Definitely a place to go.

My favorite breakfast place. They renovated the place last August 2017. The place looks modern now. I missed the diner feel though. Our server today was very friendly and attentive. I only come here for breakfast so I don't know about the kind of service they have during lunchtime and dinnertime.
Evelin did an excellent job as a server. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure all needs were met. She had a positive attitude would ask for her !! Will be coming back !
UPDATE: Since writing my original review (below) we came back again and had a great meal! I don’t know who was cooking Monday around 8-9pm but they need to cook more often. My steak was cooked to perfection and my boyfriend felt BETTER after eating his omelette. We were both surprised and impressed! OLD REVIEW: Me and my boyfriend have come to this location plenty of times and usually the food is okay, but we went on thanksgiving and were disgusted by the turkey. It was gross.
I recently visited Denny’s and had one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The food came out fresh, the restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was relaxed—but what really made the visit stand out was our server, Evelin. Evelin was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She greeted us with a warm smile, was incredibly attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her timing was perfect, and she checked on us just the right amount. She was friendly, professional, and went out of her way to make sure our experience felt personal and enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their customers, and Evelin definitely does. She made our visit memorable, and because of her, we’ll definitely be coming back. If you stop by this Denny’s, I highly recommend asking for Evelin—you won’t be disappointed!
My wife and I like to come to this Denny's due to its proximity to our home, and it's a good place for us to work on our laptops while getting something to eat for a reasonable price. We like to come to the evening/overnight shift due to 2 things: 1.) The overnight manager, Alyssa, always makes sure we're taken care of, and 2.) It's a quieter atmosphere at night so it's easier for us to work. Alyssa always makes sure that our coffee is full & our food is good. Now that being said, one of the things I would like to see from this particular franchise owner is to take some time to get some restaurant issues fixed. One of the things that is rather obvious (you can even see it in my photos) is that the outdoor lighting, including the signs, go out instead of on at around 9-9:30 pm. It's rather dark when that lighting isn't on so it's a safety concern for customers. They could also stand to hire some evening/overnight wait staff that are more attentive, but that's something that has always plagued this location. All in all, we still enjoy coming here and would recommend to others to do so as well. Y'all enjoy! ;-)

I was completely taken aback by the dark and foreboding atmosphere in this restaurant... especially since it was a DENNY'S. I think it's time for a BASIC remodel, at best. Even so, the waiter was very nice, had the fullest head of curly brown hair I've ever seen on a guy, and made sure to check on me.
This review was gonna be a very negative one but I can not deny how Leonard and Divine made up for such a bad experience. I almost forgot how upset I was that when I was leaving I said bye and waved. My food took 2 hours to come but there was a technical issue that was beyond their control Leaonard the manager was attentive and apologetic and Divine was very apologetic and kept her cool. Also the food was so fresh and made perfectly I just couldn't be upset with people who know how to quiet a mob with respect my group was a party of 11.
Denny’s used to be my absolute favorite spot back in 2020. However, their service and food quality has declined. However, Denny’s is always a good and cheap spot for breakfast 🥞 if you’re traveling, especially since they brought the $2,$4,$6, and $8 menu back. Their breakfast is better than their other food options. The chicken sandwich 🥪 I rate it 5/10.

Their bacon and eggs were very good. My wife's waffle was dry and cakey, pretty bad. We had a wonderful waitress. It was a slow morning and we talked with her for quite a while.
The best part of this meal was my husbands coffee. No sweet tea as they were out of sugar, this is Texas how are you NOT going to have sweet tea?!?!. Brisket sandwich was to tough to eat, sandwich was cut in half, each side had 5 pieces of meat, which was so chewy you couldn’t eat it, he left it on the plate. sausage links tasted weird and were not edible, I was told they did just switch brands and she’d let the cook know. Bacon was left off of my plate. So that was $45 loss this morning. I’ve never complained of Dennys, but this was ridiculous and a waste of our money
I absolutely love Denny's but this experience here was not so good. Waiter was good. The waiter mentioned to us when we tried to order a salad that it was not recommended at this time because the lettuce wasn't changed out. In other words it was old lettuce. The drinking mugs were stained and dirty, the hot chocolate had a greasy taste to it, the food came out cold. I had a Philly steak omelette and it was cold and the steak was burned and crunchy. When the food came out we had no silverware and even half the utensils were not 100% clean like they should be. The only reason why I didn't send the food back was because we waited a while due to it being mother's day which I understand and it was a packed house. I did see the manager helping clean table and sweep the floor which is good and the host in the front had a big smile and a wonderful attitude. So not all that bad.
Staff was nice, and polite but I have a problem with the none consideration of customer courtesy by a manager especially. During my order staff was not aware much of things they were out of on the menu. As I waited for my order I was approached by the manager to express that there was something else that I ordered that they did not have which was the vegan patty. This caused me to wait over an hour for my order and the manager told me there was nothing that she could do for me as a customer courtesy for the things they didn't have, then wanted to cancel my order and assumed that I could just come back in on Tuesday. With me still having to pay the same price for not even a full menu order, once I got my food after waiting for that amount of time my extra crispy fries were super cold to the point I had to just toss them. The manager did eventually end up communicating a free meal for my troubles after being so dissatisfied
My wife and I decided to stop in and get some breakfast a couple days ago. We were particular about where we wanted to sit due to my wife's anxiety, but the staff were understanding and polite. We took some time to look over the menu, my wife ordering the avocado toast and a few vegetarian safe sides while I ordered the lumberjack slam with cinnamon roll pancakes. It took about 20 minutes for my wife to get the single serving house salad and a little over 30 minutes to get our meal. By no measure were they busy or understaffed. When our food arrived, my wife's hot sides were all cold, as were my eggs, bacon, sausage and ham. Literally, the only food we were served hot were the pancakes. The table was dirty. The salt and pepper shakers were greasy while the tops of the shakers were caked with grime and old food. For the price, the grime and the waiting, it felt hardly worth the visit. The only redeeming element to our meal was the waitress, who was polite, quick and attentive. We made sure to leave 35 percent tip and suggest to the manager her wait staff deserved a raise. We took several pictures but for some reason, it will not accept the others, but here is a picture of the tops of the salt and pepper shakers.

Walked in today and got sat immediately for a party of 5. After having some friends ask if they could join we asked if there would be any issue adding two more seats to which they said not at all and got us a new table. At this point it takes 25 minutes before we are greeted again and our server comes over and asks for their drinks. He took one, and immediately walked away ignoring the other. Another 20 minutes passes and finally one water comes out. After this goes on for a while longer our order is finally taken. We then proceed to wait an hour and 30 minutes before telling the manager this issue. He said orders are backed up and will be right out. 20 minutes later we go up and say that this is outrageous as any other party in the dining room has gotten their food and we will be leaving by 1:10pm if it doesn’t come out. They tell us it will be another 20 minutes because they are backed up with to go orders but I would expect priority to be with the people actively sitting in your restaurant. Manager nowhere to be found and left at 1:05 pm after getting there at 11:30 am. Cannot genuinely imagine how this happens with zero apologies as well.
Decided to eat here while in college station with my son for orientation. What a disappointment 😕The building is in need of some major renovations. The interior was not clean and the silverware wasn’t either. The blinds on the windows were soooooo dirty! Absolutely filthy!! The food and beverages were for the most part ok….BUT the orange juice was EXTREMELY sweet also, the eggs were cold. The only positive thing about our visit to Denny’s was our waitress. She had a pleasant disposition and was kind. My daughter’s stomach hurt after eating here. Would not recommend.
I ordered my food an hour ahead of time and when I went to go pick it up I was 2 minutes early and I told the lady who’s name is Olo A that I was there to pick up my food and she started yelling at me and throwing stuff saying that I was 2 minutes early and harassed me about the food that I ordered definitely the worst experience I’ve ever had at this location if you do decide to head here beware of Olo A
Took them 10 minutes to recognize we even existed to seat us. Then it took another 20 before the server came and took our order. We were there for 2 hours and the food was almost the same quality as McDonald's. Very subpar and unappealing. The server, while friendly, very inattentive and slow. The meal was burnt and almost inedible. The staff seemed to hide in the back and only come out rarely to be seen.
I ordered online, went to pick up my order- the hostess started checking my order off then walked off to fill drinks for other customers and didn't finish my order. Waited ten minutes and she still didn't complete. My food was cold and the place was disgusting.
I just left this location and I am so angry I lost my appetite. I was greeted very ugly and basically told I was a lie and that she was the manager and she bagged it up so she knows I'm lying. So I decided to go back up to the store to show her what was in the bag. When I arrived she didn't greet me she told me to give her the bag. She just had an ugly spirit. I didn't have an attitude with her until she called me another lie and asked me what did I want her to d. I told her well the food is cold now so I need a refund or you can remake it. She said I had to go through a third party because I ordered from your door dash. Instead of explaining how and what number I can call she begin yelling and demanding things from the other employees. I saw how frustrated the other employees were her whole vibe was off. I refuse to eat food at a place with that type of customer service if she's the face that manages then the manager or whoever the owner is needs to reevaluate her. I over heard her whole conversation on the phone from the back with the general manager while I was standing there waiting. I suddenly lost my appetite she went around to the back to the Cook and told him I need a remake you're going to have to make this order all over again with an attitude so I said ma'am just stop don't worry about it I will just do a refund because I do not like your attitude it sucks and I don't trust people with any type of attitudes with my food she could have done anything to it. So she came back to the front and continued to say I was lying so I walked to the other side of the bar to open up the bag to show her what was in bag. She argued with me and told me I backed it up I bagged your order. Clearly its common sense of course they can see you bagging up a damn order on the camera, but what did you put in the damn bag does the camera show that.. that's my question. So because I guess I'm a black woman and now I'm yelling and frustrated because she has interrupted my damn peace. I'm guessing she got scared because she told me if you're going to get physical then you can leave and I told her I'm just trying to show you what's in the bag it's okay for you to move around like you're pissed off and mad but soon as I move around and try to show you something out of fear you think I'm trying to harm you. And then she kicked us out of the store I don't appreciate that and I need somebody to get back with me to see what can be done and how can I get my refund because door dash said I can't get it back. Also I keep saying she because I asked for her name three times and she told me she does not have to give me her name and she was not wearing a name tag. I honestly think that's just not professional I'm a supervisor myself and this is unacceptable I would never allow this type of behavior to go on in my business. It's not good for business it's not okay and someone needs to talk to her or reevaluate her I'm pretty sure I'm not the first and I won't be the last. All this could have been resolved by her saying yes ma'am apologizing for messing up the order because everybody did what they had to do to prepare our meal but her she is the one that did not put the caramel ,bananas and cream in the bag that was her job. The Manager never apologized the whole time I even apologized to her for catching an attitude with her.. this should have been easily resolve all she had to do was apologize.. tell me I can come pick it up or tell me that she could remake the pancakes and I can pick it up another time because it's her damn fault. I made two trips up there and still left with no damn food and don't know how to get a refund this is unacceptable. I'm home now writing this still hungry as hell!!
Sat at 9:30pm. Waited 30 minutes to be told my order could not be prepared. Waited another hour to be given a cold omelette with unmelted cheese. The manager was cooking because the cook did not come in, but the manager did not know how to prepare the menu items properly. I was not told about this until over an hour after I had been sat. I would not have ordered if I knew this. Completely unprofessional.
Probably my worst dining experience ever. I had to request a cup of coffee multiple times because our server kept forgetting to bring it to me, my food was cold - and our server forgot to put in my order of hash browns, so they arrived after we were done eating. The manager was yelling and belittling a server over a pancake order in front of the entire restaurant. Our table was dirty when they sat us, my coffee cup was dirty when they finally brought me coffee. Given that this location is so close to TAMU, you would think they would have better quality but this experience has completely turned me away from this location.
The worst! 10 minutes wait to get my name on a paper bag. Ordered coffee and they were out of apple juice but okay. After we got our coffee, we waited about 20 minutes for the same person hosting, waiting, cashing out, to take our order. 36 minutes later, we got our incomplete order which consisted of a sad looking NON-SIZZLING santa fe skillet which was 98% burnt! Our wheat pancakes looked like scraps put together in a form of “pancakes”. We waited another 15 minutes for our toddler’s pancakes and they were also very depressing to look at. We were never asked if we were doing well or if we needed a refill. Floors here are filthy and these clog sandals and random hoodies should not be employee uniform. Come on Denny’s on Texas Ave. You are right across the best university in TEXAS 👍🏼. STEP IT UP!!!
Staff didn't know what a BLT is. Served it with burt toast and only two slices of burnt bacon. Refused to speak English or understand the native language. Food was awful!! The service was even worse!!! I'll never eat there again. Save ur $ and eat @ Jack in the Box! It also took forever to prepare. BLT became cold while they prepared the rest of the order. The staff @ this Denny's just doesn't care that Denny's is an American Iconic restaurant!
We waited over 30 minutes for our food: a kids meal, an omelette, a Santa Fe skillet, and my Cobb salad. When the food finally arrived, everything was a letdown. My Cobb salad was horrible: barely any lettuce, huge uneven chunks of avocado, burnt chicken with an old oil taste, and it was missing the hard-boiled egg. When I asked about it, they had me waiting another 10 minutes just to come back and say they were out of eggs and wouldn’t get a “truck” until tomorrow. My daughter ordered chicken tenders, and after a long wait, we were also told they were out…again, because the truck hadn’t arrived. The pancakes were cold with hard edges like they had been reheated, and the hash browns were burnt. The restaurant itself looked unkept (as usual) beautiful looking menus but poor food presentation, messy place, and filthy bathrooms. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing visit. Definitely not the Denny’s experience we expected.
Took 2 hours to get a doordash order that i still haven’t received then i called to see about it and asked if yall were making orders and was told call back in 10 minutes. Hire people that’s going to work !
Ordered French toast. The French toast, sausage and bacon were cold, the eggs were bland, but no shortage of powdered sugar it was caked on the french toast, and there must be a shortage of hot water for hot tea. I received one cup and one tea bag no little tea pot with extea hot water. When I asked for more hot water that's all that was served no tea bag. They don't give butter with French toast. I was informed they don't serve butter unless it's with the three piece slam. Wow that's what I ordered. I was offered butter when I was paying my bill because I scraped off the avalanche of powered sugar and boxed it to go. I did not know butter had to be asked for at breakfast for a meal that is classic for being served with butter. I'm hoping this is just poor decision making at this Dennys.
well my friends and i ate here thirsday night. even though the food was delicious the things we witnessed from an employee was the worst. i really thought one employee was doing to hit the other. One employee in the kitchen was screaming cussing so loud the whole restaurant could hear. i wont be going back.
I went to this Denny’s location with my boyfriend this evening to satisfy some breakfast cravings. When we arrived, it wasn’t busy, and we were sat quickly. There were only 5 tables seated with us included. We ordered our drinks almost as soon as we sat down, but we waited about 10 minutes to get 1 soft drink and one lemonade. Finally we got our drink, and our waitress left once again for about 20 minutes. We have no clue where she went, but what we do know is that we have been ready to order and she is nowhere to be found. She finally does come back and takes our order, to which we must wait again for at least another 20 minutes before we decided to leave. Craziest part is we asked for a refill since we drank our drink while waiting to order, she never returned with either a drink or food. In the end we decided to leave because being at that establishment for that long is ridiculous, especially when all we got was a drink in the hour and a half we were there. I would give this a 0 stars if I could.
Went to Denny for an early dinner , expecting to be able receive an senior discount like we have numerous times before and we were informed that they had stopped this practice. Apparently they only discount AARP or military personnel.
They should hire serious people for customer service. We went in for dinner expecting good service, but sadly, we left disappointed. They even forgot to bring my friend's food. -⭐️
This was my first time at this Denny's & my first time trying to go to a Denny's in a few years. Last time I tried to go to one in a different state they were having staffing issues & closed for the day so I went elsewhere. This was on March 27th around 6pm that I stopped in. The outside of the building was a little worn down & the graffiti caught my eye. There was a cigarette butt on the side walk next to the graffiti. It wouldn't have been so bad if not for the moment you walked in the doors where the game machines are for kids, it wreaked terribly of cigarette smoke!! I am immunocompromised so this was definitely not at all a pleasant way to enter a restaurant. There was no restaurant host walking into the restaurant. It was very dreary, this place could definitely use some renovations. I saw a person sitting on the bench seat the entire time I was there by the entrance. I am not sure why they were sitting there, if they had been helped or knew one of the employees?? When someone did come to help me at the front it was a new employee who was very friendly, but had no idea how to scan my coupon for my order. [ I had a birthday offer I was trying to use. ] They got their manager to come over eventually. When the manager came over I showed the manager my coupon & re-explained to the manager what I was trying to order. Before the manager did anything to help me, their personal cell phone rang & they went to take the phone call & left me standing there yet again. The first person who helped me, ( the new employee, ) came back over after some time, & saw I was still waiting, then said that the manager would be with me soon. I give them a point for trying, but there was obviously a disconnect with them not realizing that the manager had already spoken to me, but not actually helped me, & decided to go take a call & leave me there instead. So while I am just standing there I see an order come out & get put under the warmer to be served, but yet no one is to be seen to take it out to the table it belongs to. So as I am standing there just watching & waiting, a paying customer's food is literally dying in the window in front of me - while the manager is chatting away...so I decide to go back out through the terrible cigarette smoke filled entrance way, & exit the restaurant. I noped it right out of there!! At this time as I am getting in my car, the person that was on the bench is standing at the door way of the restaurant trying to get my attention saying that the manager is off the phone NOW. I was good on any food from that location, so I said ' No thank you!!.' This isn't the only location in town, I can try a different one if I want it that bad. I would not eat here & would give them zero stars if it was an option.
Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Cold food ( pancakes and beacon) , server was rude whenever I mentioned the food was cold. Guess they forgot in food handlers class that food is supposed to be at a certain temperature, beacon ESPECIALLY is supposed to be hot because of the risk of salmonella!! Then the manager had a nasty attitude as well! They ( the server ) should have to retake her food handlers course. Oh and on Christmas Eve at that!!!
Me and some friends came in earlier this morning, nasty. The food, undercooked, no taste to it felt like I was just scraping the plate with a dirty fork at that. Service was good she was great, lady at the front; very preppy with her script excellent. One of the servers had his crack out, wow :3 I give it a .5 actually do better dennys, thanks
A concern at Dennys. This past week, I have had to return on three separate occasions to have my order remade. I did not raise any complaints at the time because the manager, Alyssa, handled each situation professionally and kindly. She has consistently been helpful, respectful, and attentive, and the rest of the staff have also been excellent in correcting the orders. However, during my most recent visit, I felt extremely uncomfortable due to the behavior of one of the servers on 1/2/26 around 11ish.The server appeared to be intoxicated or smelled strongly of alcohol and acted in a very disrespectful and disruptive manner toward the manager and other staff. This behavior caused a scene and created an unprofessional environment for both employees and customers. I am concerned about whether it is acceptable for a server to be working while under the influence of alcohol. From my understanding of restaurant standards, this type of behavior is not appropriate and negatively impacts both staff morale and customer experience. While I appreciate how well Alyssa handled the situation, this incident left me feeling uncomfortable and hesitant to return. I felt it was important to bring this matter to your attention so it can be addressed appropriately.
We were sitted and waited close to 10 minutes. Waiter just passed eventhough I called and waved that them. IGORNED. I raised my hand for about a minute until supervisor saw me and came. She called the two waiters and spoke to them. One of them came to assist. On the order. 1. Coffee was served in stained dirty mugs. 2. Waiter said .sorry there is no half&half and left. No options. I had to ask him if he had milk or cream. 3. When asking for refill, you could see that the coffee jar hadn't being cleaned in a while. It was so dirty that you could not see it was?stainless steel. It was discussing. 4. When food came, my food was covered in the burn leftover food as if the cooking area is not cleaned. Check the attached picture. 5. Wife asked for cinnamon pancakes, the pancakes were missing the white icing and had very little cinnamon. Waiter said, sorry we ran out of icing. 6. My pancakes can be described as rubber pancakes. 7. The Manger had pants that were stain with paint ink and dirt where you could see that he cleans his hands on his pants.
