The first watch chain is my go-to for breakfast while traveling, and I can always get a yummy gluten-free meal no matter where they are located. This one was unique because they served alcohol beverages. So, this was a first, but I hope they eventually extend this to all their branches in the future. There is nothing exceptional breakfast, and the staff are always super friendly and great to work with.

The food came out relatively quick and was hot which was perfect. The seasonal menu is the best. Rhiley was very attentive and delivered exceptional service.

Great breakfast. The only issue I had was there was very little meat in the chimi steak and eggs bowl. But other than that it was a good time.

Great experience. We initially were outside but were being bothered by bumble bees. The staff was understanding and accommodating. They were able to set a table for us inside and enjoyed our time. Ian great job!!!

It was busy but we got sat immediately, had drinks within a minute, and service was friendly, courteous, and we were never rushed despite the constant stream of more people coming in. Our server Taylor sold me on the pineapple Express drink and the chimichurri steak and eggs and they were amazing.

Delicious and healthy food! I loved this place, the staff is very nice and every ingredient feels so fresh. Perfect for a nice date. Absolutely recommend for breakfast or brunch! Enjoy

The Best places to Brunch

Waiter was great and food was brought out promptly. Took my Big Brother there because he had never tried the restaurant. Sad part of the visit was that the Shrimp and Grits wasn't on the menu due to it being a seasonal item. The purple haze drinks didn't disappoint neither of us. Got there before 9 a.m. and was immediately sat down and served.

I ordered the Traditional breakfast with the upgrade to Million Dollar Bacon, and everything was delicious. The portions were generous, and the food came out fresh and flavorful. The Million Dollar Bacon was the star..perfectly sweet with just the right amount of spice. Definitely worth the upgrade. I’ll be back!

Went to First Watch for breakfast — it’s one of my favorite places! ☕🍳 But this time, I was a bit disappointed. The food didn’t taste fresh like it usually does. The place is still beautiful, and the staff were super nice, but the food just wasn’t great today.

The food was okay for the most part. Unfortunately, my waffle wasn't good & I asked for a pancake, which still wasn't good. In their defense, it was very busy. Nonetheless, the manager was very apologetic & offered us a $20 gift card. We were very appreciative of the effort to correct a mistake. I'd try this location again! Oh, and the drinks were delicious!

This place is always full. The staff needs help. It appears they are always running short on staff. Food is good, and good size portions. Go visit then often.

We decided to try a different breakfast spot this morning, and it was pretty good. The server, Niya, was great. The food was good, but pricey. We were a party of 3 and our bill was over $75... yes, for breakfast. Expect a little wait, it's still new to Apopka, but it's worth it. Food was fresh and service was even better.

Nice place. Food was good. I did a lemony eggs Benedict. It came with a salad on the side. It all tasted good but the salad, mixed greens, was borderline going bad so it wilted a ton underneath the dressing they put on. The Benedict was good. I forgot the name but it had lemon in it. The tomatoes were eh and the avocado was a little skimpy and also kind of eh. The arugula on my Benedict also seemed less than fresh. Bacon was crispy and the eggs were cooked right. Service was great, coffee fresh and hot. I didn't take off a lot for their produce being so-so because I didn't go for the produce and hopefully it was just a bad day. Pretty solid flavor... just skip a salad, or let me know when you get your fresh produce. Definitely ask first.

Great place for a quick brunch. You should always go online and join the “wait list”. Food always fresh, coffee is great. Million dollar bacon is delicious, and The Works omelette as well.

Food options in these parts is sparse. First watch is a solid breakfast /brunch spot. They’re fairly new and well run. Fresh ingredients and focused service. I’ve been to many of these and rarely a bad experience and if they do they own it.

The food is mostly consistent. The service is definitely inconsistent...never really know what you're gonna get. Inside is very loud and has zero cell service, but they do offer free wifi.

Best time to visit is during the week. Service is better and so is the food. The weekends are busier and the service suffers.

It was 50/50. Really enjoyed the spring special cornbread. Honey caramel crunch coffee and after a retry the French toast. Requested over medium eggs, came out on the slimy side and the sausage...well, not for me.

Weird plating, disappointed that the avocado came from a container rather than an actual fresh avocado. Disappointed

I really liked eating here, but I've noticed the last couple of times that while the food was great, the service was terrible. It took them 20 minutes just to get my drinks, and last time the server didn't even check on our table until he brought the check.

Took an hour to get my food. The barbacoa bowl barley has any meat.

Omelette was cold in the center. The shredded cheese wasn’t even melted. Potatoes were undercooked and cold even though they had a great crust. I can only assume that they’ve been sitting and were reheated. The server was great and accommodating

I have ate at many first watch locations for the past 14+ years, including this location. Today I feel that the standards have went down tremendously that when this location first opened. We sat in the outside portion and it was like that part of the restaurant was an afterthought. We were sat to a table that had not been cleaned up from previous people and 1.5 hours later it still had not been cleaned. Then the people next to us left and their table was not cleared either. Also, out coffee adding and condiment basket on the table was not stocked, none of the outside ones were. I went inside to get coffee creamer. No one wants to pay money to sit beside trash and it was not pleasant. The outside bench area was also extremely dirty and stained. Please remove the cushions if they are not getting cleaned properly. Overall, the worst dining experience at a First Watch I have had.

Food was pretty good and no issues with the food. But service was absolutely terrible. Slow and inattentive. Sitting at the counter, you’re basically ignored because no one is working it and the same staff is working the kitchen and the whole floor it seems. I watched several people get up and leave after being ignored. They’re either understaffed or poorly managed.

"We recently dined at First Watch Apopka and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The service was slow – it took 30 minutes just to place our order. The lemonade was basically watered-down juice with a slight lemon flavor. Our biggest concern was the food quality. The potatoes were cold and mostly raw in the center. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was also an issue. The bathroom floor was littered with food scraps, and there was even a large glob of scrambled egg in the middle of a walkway, which another customer slipped on. While the atmosphere was pleasant, the service issues and cleanliness problems overshadowed any positives. We would not recommend this restaurant at this time."

Food was good as always. This time our cups were dirty, we recieved a broken glass syrup bottle which we had to notify our server for. We recieved the another syrup bottle with what looks like mold inside. We will come back but not for awhile.

Dirty dishes on most of outside tables, never brought our pup water after we asked multiple times, order was brought out incomplete missing ingredients BLT Benedict. Don’t bother to ask for normal things you normally can get from First Watch let alone anything extra!

Is this first watch here in Apopka, Florida worth your time on a Sunday? Well, here are my thoughts. The food was okay at best. The wait time was too long. Their wait listing service doesn’t even work. The thing that I’m trying to understand is, how did I wait so long for my food to come out and yet my food was at best, less than room temperature once it hit the table. Now what do you think? Is this restaurant worth your time?

Ordered the turkey burger, chef forgot to peel the paper off the cheese served as such., did not find out until I bitten and chewed it before realizing this. Definitely not the heathy fiber I want in my diet. Manager didn't make me pay for the meal I did not eat, only comped on my drink. Win Dixie across the street has safer options with the same quality.
