Mostly Mod's pizza 🍕 is not only The pizza to look forward to it is an experience worth the short weight it generally takes. However, comma if you're a particular about cross contamination and don't want PORK in your "VEGGIE" there is a little to be desired with the process (Gloves AND THE ACQUISITION OF EACH ITEM.) Properiod probably something that never crossed their minds... So, the 1st guy serving quickly changed his gloves. Unfortunately, the next person takes over the line and did not.. and couldn't help but notice had already been taking taking from The meat items, including pepperoni of course. And so forth and so on... So, Went the usual whale until the end.. The young lady was Friendly but probably not familiar with bagging the pizza. Slanting the bag with the hot pizza in it could couldn't not in will.. See the picture. Flavor was amazing!

Very solid pizza, but the best part is the toppings are unlimited with free of charge!! I did order a salad and they forgot that, so docking a star on service. Food tasted good though.

Mod Pizza is good. Not too pricey and plenty of options. The salad was fresh and there a many choices for toppings, sauces and other ways to customize your pizza. Best of all they have a gluten friendly option that is also vegan and they have a tasty cauliflower crust. They don't charge so much extra for these either like some places. Now their dough and sauces could have a bit more flavor but it's a good pizza stop over all.

We arrived at 9:35pm .....place closes at 10pm on 11-18-25....the young lady making the pizzas was in a bad mood.......that is NOT THE WAY YOU PREPARE FOOD FOR OTHERS!!!!!

I hate that this review will be a reflection on the entire restaurant staff as a whole, so please note this particular comment only applies to one individual working behind the counter at MOD. This fella reminds me of a scene in the first season of “Landman,” when Tommy is sitting at the bar with Rebecca and tells the bartender, “Is this your hobby? Because you dang sure don’t want a freaking tip.” I have never encountered such a nonchalant and bored employee at any MOD Pizza anywhere. From taking our $70 order, to reacting to me pulling cash out of my billfold by saying very rudely, “oh we don’t break 100’s here, you have to go somewhere else and do that, I’m not taking that,” my family and I were baffled. He had the audacity to gesture to the tip screen after I paid… you can imagine how much of a tip I left. Anyway, food is fantastic, but the (lack of) service by this particular employee really dampened the experience.

I felt that the service from the actual staff was satisfactory, but the older man who manages the place seemed to lack enthusiasm and had a poor attitude. The food was not good at all it lacked flavor!!. I was disappointed because it did not meet my expectations for $16. I noticed wilted vegetables being served, which should not have been offered, and I also saw ranch dressing left out, despite it needing to be refrigerated. The place needs a serious deep cleaning because some parts of the restaurant were not clean. Will not be returning to this location.

First time eating at the College Station South MOD establishment, and I love MOD 🍕, but today (12/04/2021) was not my day. I wanted to try the "mega dough" pizza for the first time, and on my first attempt (order) the dough got messed up while in the oven. The guys apologized and told me to get back in the line to order another pizza (sightly disappointed to my pizza going to waste, and a small waste of time too), but I understand things happen. Now, on my second attempt, the pizza made it through the flames just to end on the floor (by accident) when the employee pulled it out of the oven. So, as I stood there in disbelief and wondering what I could have done wrong in this life to deserve this punishment, employee #2 offered a "free pizza" card and free drink. I want to be clear that I am thankful they gave me the card, but the gesture wasn't free because I left MOD paying for the pizza without a pizza in my hands. To end this saga, my boyfriend's MOD pizza on that same order was burnt at the bottom. It wasn't normal crispy crust, it was burnt as in you can taste the charred bread from the oven. AGAIN, I don't intend to affect any of the employees but it was awkward to find ourselves standing there as my pizza was thrown in the trash AGAIN while they were trying to figure out what to do with the situation. I feel I should have been given the card for two pizzas instead, or a reimbursement for the pizza I could never have. Hopefully, I will come back for redemption.

That sweet sweet MOD Pizza atmosphere! We (my wife and I) had a phenomenal dining experience. The staff were on their game. EDIT: You’re only as strong as your weakest link. And right now, that’s the girl with a bad attitude who reluctantly brought out our pizza after we ordered curbside. Didn’t catch her name because she immediately walked away after chastising us for not being in a car. We also didn’t have a chance to ask for the side of ranch my wife wanted. Pizza was burnt, and they didn’t add mozzarella on top as we requested. Will update review if we ever return.

I never order delivery—but on July 31, 2025, I made an exception. I placed a delivery order through the Mod Pizza website at 11:40 AM. The original estimated time was 12:20 PM. Then it changed to 12:40. Then 1:00. Then 1:10. After waiting over an hour and seeing constant delays, I decided to go pick it up myself. Before heading out, I called the store to ensure the delivery driver wouldn’t take my order while I was on the way. The employee told me, “We can’t help you—you need to contact DoorDash.” I explained I ordered directly through Mod Pizza, not DoorDash. I even pointed out that the confirmation message from Mod Pizza clearly said to contact the store for any issues. The employee still refused to help. Only after I pushed back did they finally cancel the delivery. When I arrived, the staff was cold and unhelpful. No greeting. No apology. They simply pointed to my pizza—sitting on the lowest rack, barely two inches above the floor, completely cold. There were no other pizzas on the pick-up shelf. It felt deliberately petty, like they went out of their way to be dismissive. To make matters worse, I was still charged a delivery fee even though I had to pick it up myself—and the pizza wasn’t even warm. This experience was incredibly disappointing. Between the miscommunication, the cold food, the lack of accountability, and the staff’s attitude, I can honestly say this was the worst customer service I’ve had in a long time. This happened on July 31, 2025—in case you want to hold your staff accountable for losing a loyal customer. Because after this experience, that’s exactly what I am: a lost customer of Mod.

It's a good bang for ur buck. If u love unlimited toppings, then, u will love this place. Taste wise, the pizzas are not bad, but not the best. The pizzas are not hot enough when served. Updating my 4 star review to 1 star: I stopped going to this place for 2 years straight bcz of their cold pizzas. I tried again today and it's the same cold pizzas. They play loud music but announce your name when pizza is ready with such low voice that you have to keep looking at them and listening to them all the time to get your pizza when it's done. If you are planning on having a fun conversation with your friends while they are baking pizza, then this is not place for you. Why cannot they just announce the name in the speakers or announce it more than once? Also, the dough was super dry which showed up in the taste of the final pizza. There is hardly anyone at their pizza and I guess it makes sense. It's just such a shame, 3 years ago their pizza used to be so good and the place was always packed. Now, its all gone :(
