The food was great! The tacos de tripitas were juicy and had great texture. The tacos de lengua also had great texture and flavoring. The horchata was also really nicely spiced and had great balance.
If you love Mexican food, you need to try this place. You won't leave hungry! The place was busy. I don't think I was the only one who loved it!
As I have slowly tried many different mexican places in CSTAT/Bryan I have yet to find anywhere that beats the carnita tacos here. Generously filled, juicy limes and great salsas. Staff is very friendly and food comes out quickly.
I've been having their tortas for years. Finally checked out the place in person and it was arguably the best Mexican food in the area. Food was great, chips perfectly crunchy, and service was friendly. If you want real Mexican food then you should come here.
An absolute hidden gem of CS! I was gifted a burrito from here a few months ago and I’ve been coming back every few weeks! I usually get the Chicken/Beef mixed meat nachos and I split it with my wife! Sometimes we even have leftovers! I’m glad this place is here So we can drop the kids off at clockwork and come have dinner nearby
Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. The servers are incredible nice and the food is delicious. Great place for a date. The prices are also very fair, especially for the quality of food you receive.
I love this place!! I always get a torta and occasionally some chocoflan (cat approved). It’s nice and convenient that they have a drive thru (not many authentic Mexican restaurants have a drive thru). They’ve never disappointed me :)
Really tasty and authentic food here! The carnitas and barbacoa tacos are delicious, especially on corn tortillas. I also tried a beef Gordita for the first time which was like a thick, cheesy, taco, pretty good. Their hot salsa and green salsas are really good too, I did not skimp! The horchata is tasty but very sweet. Would definitely recommend coming here for delicious Mexican food.
Food here is pretty darn good! The chips, the salsas, tacos, everything! The only thing missing is a margarita! Been here twice and it won’t be the last time. Keep it up!
Had the gorditas: pastor and carnitas. Both were very good. They were large. It was difficult to finish both. I liked the carnitas a little better because of the moisture level. Service was good even though they were very busy.
Seriously one of the best taco spots in College Station. Cheap, quality, and big portion dishes. I especially like their shrimp and al pastor tacos. The service and atmosphere is okay, all indoor seating. Definitely a must go place if you’re craving the cuisine.
Definitely one of the best real authentic Mexican Restaurant here in College Station. Everything we had was delicious, the attention was very friendly at all times. After looking for several Mexican restaurants we decided on La Perlita since it caught our attention because of its simplicity and many times simplicity is what is good and we were not wrong. You can't miss coming to this place.
Flavorful and spicy salsa with warm chips Loved the simplicity of the street tacos style servings. Lengua and pastor was tender and flavorful. Busy on Sundays so be patient with them. They're hella fast and efficient. Excellent service from servers, busser, and kitchen staff.
The tacos here were awesome! The staff was very friendly and I would recommend and will also be going back. They make sure their tacos are loaded up with meat that taste great too!
Flavorful food with great customer service! The staff are very welcoming and provided me excellent service during my entire time there. I am no taco expert but the tacos I had were delicious and tender! The prices are very reasonable and I will definitely be coming here more often.
This was a quaint place with reasonable prices. The salsa was warm and yummy. My dish was fajita enchies and I opted for shrimp tacos as well. The fajitas were a little different than what I'm used to, but they were great. I loved the shrimp tacos! Stop by, you'll be impressed.
Really good spot for all your favorites. I had three tacos and each one was perfect. Good flavor and fresh ingredients. I also like that salsa is served warm. Staff is super friendly. Glad to find a place in town that is open somewhat late.
Their complimentary salsa that goes with the chips was spicy and delicious. Their street tacos were okay. We ordered the pastor and the beef fajitas. Their decor was colorful. The staff was attentive.
The food was delicious! The bf fajita meat had better flavor than the al pastor. The salsa for the chips is the best! It's not too spicy but a really good flavor. The hibiscus water I was disappointed. I asked if it was homemade, and she said yes. But I after taking a sip, I quickly realized it was the artificial powder one. Overall, the food was amazing!
Back to Aggie land and visiting Tacos La Perlita. Still good food. The only complaint is that they need better and more waiters and waitresses.ours today was so slow. they were all over the place. I know it was busy. But it took so long for her to get our drinks, then our order, and finally, the check. Think we might have to find a new place.
We've been looking for a great Mexican restaurant in College Station and I think La Perlita is the place! The waiter was friendly and attentive up until the last 30 minutes or so. We saw he was very busy cleaning and all though so we didn't so much mind. The food was excellent! Everything had great flavor. I for the enchiladas verdes which was nice and cheesy with a hint of spice. My wife got the chicken burrito which was absolutely massive. She said she wished the rice was on the side because it was a lot. My kids got the chicken nuggets and burger and had no complaints. We also started with the queso which was yummy as you'd expect. The salsa's have great flavor and spice. We will be back!
Service was extremely slow, waited just to get drink orders for 15 minutes then waited another 15 to get the drinks. Food was great. I probably won’t be eating inside again and will just order to-go.
I’ve heard good things about this restaurant but have only ordered food here twice & both times my order was wrong & the ground beef was pink🤢, I confronted the team about it this time and they told me that “this is the way we do it in Mexico” I do not recommend this restaurant compared to cheaper local Mexican restaurants that will always have A1 service and cook your food to perfection….. way to expensive for the service they provide ❌
