The whole stay was amazing. Khadija helped me at checkout when I had a few questions and was so sweet! Slept incredibly well, the shower was AMAZING and we had the wrap around balcony room that was so relaxing. Will always stay here when coming to Columbia
We had a great time. When we checked in we had a slight issue with an older caucasian male, he really didn't want to help us, he gave us wrong info..but the next day a lovely lady made up for his rudeness and gave myself and the birthday man a diner card..the breakfast was amazing. Our refrigerator in our room wasn't working but besides that it was awesome
Visited for a trade convention at the event center. Nice venue, good food from causing and clean restrooms. Well lit and comfortable. I would host an event here.
Nice room for an overnight stay. Convenient location off the Interstate. Breakfast Buffet NOT INCLUDED!! $19 . . . too expensive!
Ziera took great care of me and was able to get the couple next door to be quiet. Omelet station was great.
What an omelette! The very best! However this hotel is right in the center of the worst crime area in South Carolina. Yet they don’t want people to wear concealed weapons. Law of people do not cause crime, however, we have the right to protect ourselves against those who do. Your hotel is another prime example of liberal laws and woke thinking. Unfortunately, because of this one problem, my employees are not in favor of staying at this hotel anymore. Therefore, we will be choosing another location. My employees like to protect themselves in their travels because they carry valuable equipment.
Daniel at the hotel restaurant was on point, attentive, courteous and made sure I felt welcome. Location of the hotel was “so so” so I decided to eat at the hotel bar, glad I did. Food was great and Daniel was awesome. Will be back!
Beautiful hotel great welcoming staff soon as we walked in was greeted with a big smiles and great service
The rooms were so comfy and the food in the restaurant was very tasty. The ONLY complaint is the hotel does not offer complimentary breakfast. The cost of the rooms is a bit high (not horrible) but for the cost of the rooms breakfast should be included - which is standard in the majority of the US. Now if this were a luxury hotel, I could see charging for the breakfast.
I had an amazing stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Columbia during my exams, and I can’t say enough about the incredible service I received. The front desk staff member, Kadesia, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was absolutely perfect. She helped in more ways than most people would, and her kindness and professionalism truly stood out. Nita from the restaurant staff was also wonderful — attentive, friendly, and made every interaction a pleasure. Honestly, the entire team was exceptional, from the managers to housekeeping. Everyone was so pleasant, welcoming, and genuinely cared about providing a great experience. I had an incredible stay and look forward to coming back. This is what true service looks like.
Hotel is great. Clean, good service. Not very walkable to other businesses or restaurants. The hotel restaurant was good; breakfast service has been pretty poor every time I stay.
The staff were excellent, and the cookies at DoubleTree, as always were delicious. The shower pressure and bed were great for me, and the room and hotel were clean. The hotel is aging but appears to be well-maintained overall. My door, however, required a strong pull to shut it. Whenever I stay at a Hilton property, I'm reminded why I prefer Marriott. They weren't able to give me an extended checkout and, even though checkout was at noon, housekeeping entered my room at 11:45 while I was on the phone. Overall, a good but not great experience.
Needs to be renovated, only one person working breakfast and probably 50 people there, she took orders, served and took money. Room furnishing very run down
Quite a few amenities that were easily accessible and important in my hotel choice. Enjoyed the layout and condition of my two bed oom and desk. Appreciated the walled off bathroom & sink. Desk clerks were kind and helpful. Used the lobby to work on my computer in comfortable surroundings after checkout. It was wortha couple extra dollars to stay here. Breakfast is extra however. "I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry." Kind David in Psalms 40.
Definitely out dated. GF said it kinda hurts the brand and expected it to be nicer. I said yes maybe 20 years ago. Room sink had a huge crack. Very noisy next to the interstate. Service and food is outstanding! I more than likely would stay again but next time I will look for someplace a bit nicer. I’ve stayed in way worse places. Want to repeat about the excellent service. Very friendly and professional from the maintenance team, front desk to bar & restaurant team.
Expectations were not met when booking a "top suite" balcony view at a Double Tree. Reference pictures below. Hotel is definitely not as nice as advertised. For some reason someone in charge of scheduling thought it would be a good idea to have 1 person on staff on a Friday night serving the restaurant and bar, keeping everyone waiting for at least 20 minutes just for drinks. Not worth $189. Won't stay here again.
Although I have read several positive reviews of this hotel, it is evident that individual experiences can differ significantly. Our 5-day stay prompted me to provide a detailed review, as these specific issues were apparent during my visit. I don’t usually write feedback of this length but I believe it is warranted under the circumstances. Having stayed at multiple Hilton Hotels, I regret to say that I am unlikely to return to this location. BUILDING > PROS 1. All staff members, including those at the reception desk, housekeeping, and restaurant, demonstrated a strong commitment to customer service. 2. Complimentary breakfast was provided, offering a variety of options such as made-to-order omelets, all of which were of high quality. 3. The service in the restaurant was excellent, with attentive and courteous waitstaff. 4. Warm cookies were available daily, along with complimentary packaged cookies. 5. The conference room offered ample space for meetings and events. BUILDING > CONS 1. Hotel seems outdated. Its proximity to I-20 contributed to noticeable road noise in the mornings. 2. Rooms feature sinks located outside the bathrooms; as a result, using the sink at night may disrupt others due to bright lighting. 3. The B-side elevator lacks floor number displays, so guests must check lit buttons or look outside for room numbers. There is no A/C in the elevators, and hallway A/C units are insufficient to keep the area cool. Staff members frequently wait for available elevators to travel between floors. 4. On July 25, I reported all B-side parking lot lights were out. The front desk noted this ongoing issue but seemed unconcerned about the security risk. 5. Despite several tries until midnight, I couldn't find a luggage cart for checkout. The front desk explained that carts are often left in rooms after guests leave, and with housekeeping not done daily, they stay there until the next service. OUR ROOM > PROS 1. The A/C was really cool, although it generated some noise. 2. The shower was of high quality, offering strong water pressure and multiple spray settings. Body gel, shampoo, and conditioner were provided in wall-mounted dispensers (see photo). 3. Hot water was available on demand after approximately two minutes; while this was sufficient for shower use, it did result in greater water consumption at the sink. 4. A power-flushing toilet was definitely a plus. OUR ROOM > CONS At check-in, we received a room key but found it occupied (the bed was unmade and personal items inside.) The receptionist quickly switched us to another room; however, although we had selected a 2nd floor room earlier, we were reassigned to the 4th floor, which was disappointing. Several maintenance and amenity concerns were noted during our stay: • The baggage rack was broken, but it was replaced after being reported. • Laundry bags were not provided in the closet as is customary, so we had to ask for them from housekeeping. • The bathroom was notably small, with less than an inch of clearance between the door and toilet. • The entry door was heavy and difficult to open and would shake loudly when the adjacent room’s door closed. • Closet space was limited, requiring clothes to be angled in order to close the door. • The toilet paper holder was broken and, despite reporting it the following morning, remained unfixed during our stay. • The microwave was positioned really low to the floor, making it necessary to kneel for use. • Mini-fridge door shelves were too small to accommodate standard water bottles. • An electrical outlet near the dresser was nonfunctional; this was reported but not fixed. • Dresser drawer handles were found to be extremely dusty and sticky. • Housekeeping did not attend the room on two promised days. • On the final day, face towels were unavailable; housekeeping staff indicated there were no additional towels available at that time. These matters impacted greatly on our experience and highlight areas for potential improvement in guest services and facilities.
Old hotel, paint pealing, rusty fixtures, very noisy next to the interstate highway, noisy buzzing noises inside, and breakfast buffet is $20.
We stayed here one night while passing through. It seems the hotel was very nice years ago, but hasn't been maintained well. I'm glad we got a last minute deal on the price. Our room overall seemed mostly clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant is an up charge. The limited interaction i had with staff was friendly.
Hotel is very dated and my room was far from clean. I unfortunately stayed here at the same time the Little League World Series was being held. It was packed with 8-13 year old boys and baseball parents that treated the place like it was a Great Wolf Lodge. Kids running the halls and playing in the elevator during my stay. Far from peaceful but that might just be a poor timing issue. I assume the prices were high too because of the baseball. Breakfast was not included and was very pricey for the offering.
Older hotel that really needs a refresh. Employees are very polite and helpful. The facility is run down with damaged fixtures, damaged drapes and HVAC that can't keep up. Apparently the back parking lot is a lot of fun after hours, because condom boxes are laying around everywhere.
The hotel is clean and good but the breakfast is just a fail.
Checked in digitally but stopped by front desk for key, water & cookie. Staff was friendly & efficient. Got an upgrade as Hilton Gold—Room 501, a corner room with a rare L-shaped balcony on two sides. Room had 2 queen beds, lots of lighting with dimmers, desk with chair, Keurig, fridge, microwave, dresser, closet with iron, safe & luggage rack. Oddly, both Keurig pods & filter packs were supplied despite only having a Keurig. Room had good water pressure, but hot water takes 2 mins to kick in. Toilet flushes hard—keep lid down or it splashes. AC barely worked when I returned after a 102° day. Called front desk to report heat & other issues—was cut off mid-sentence. Checked unit—filter was caked with nearly an inch of dust. Maintenance arrived quickly with correct replacements. He saved the day—AC worked great after. Room had visible wear: peeling paint, patched ceiling, cracked sink basin, chipped vanity epoxied back in, crooked light fixtures, dust everywhere (mirror, chandelier, artwork), trash under chair cushion. Huge gap under door lets in hallway light, but closet door helps block it. Room was very quiet—only heard 1 person entire stay. Bed was comfy, felt new. Towels were hit or miss. One was ragged & frayed beyond belief. One hand towel had a sticker & a stain—clearly never washed. Rest were okay. Onsite bar/restaurant: bartender was running solo & did a great job. Cod sandwich & crispy Brussels sprouts were excellent. Got emailed my invoice at 3:40 a.m. on checkout day. Expensed it, then got a new invoice removing my meal as a Hilton F\&B credit. My account is set to earn points, not credits. Couldn’t reach hotel—every extension had full voicemail. Called Hilton corporate, got transferred, & the rep fixed it. Tried to raise concerns during checkout—staff wasn’t interested.
It was not my best Double Tree experience. Being outside Columbia I didn't expect it to be posh but I did expect a certain level of service. The carpet was stained, strange hairs on my blanket and weird flushing toilet. 2 night stay and our room was never touched. I understand having 4 events on Saturday but by Sunday the hotel was empty. Why was no one rounding to our room? Entry cookie was cold. Cookie on Monday was cold. After paying for a 4 🌟 hotel, I am expecting 4 🌟 service and execution.
My husband & I only stay at Hilton Hotels and this was probably the worst. It is not in a good area. There were blood drops on the pillow cases. Our fridge was not cold. The layout of the Hotel is terrible. Out so-called windows didn't look to the outside. It overlooked the lobby. There were people in the lobby half the night being loud and we could hear them in our room.
I stayed at this hotel during the month of May 2025. I would rate this hotel a 2-3 star. This hotel is not up to Hilton standards, it is not what you would expect from a Hilton product. The chairs in the main lobby are soil to the point that you don’t want to sit in them they are dirty, filthy and need to be cleaned. The walls and the carpet in my room were stain with a mysterious substance. The curtain in my room was hanging down, and I had maid service and it wasn’t addressed. The showerhead in the shower is loose, and the grout in the shower is filthy and dirty. The air vent in the bathroom is filthy and dirty. The carpet in the hall is filthy, dirty and worn. Missing ceiling tiles. The staff were professional. The bar and restaurant were good. Overall this hotel needs to be cleaned and updated. Maintenance is lacking. There is free parking.
Front desk ladies were rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Bring your own toilet paper, cause you only get 1 roll and no hairdryer. I had to ask other staff members for fresh towels that didn’t have yellow stains on them. Some of the restaurant food was tasty. Our steaks came out raw one night. The breakfast cook (white guy) was super and helpful. Another thing to watch out for are the pictures shown. This is a hazard with no warning. I witnessed 2 grown women trip on this brick while I was at the hotel because it’s not even by 1/2 an inch and fall flat on the ground on their faces. I panicked, went inside to tell front desk staff and this was their response “what do you want us to do, it’s not our problem!” Yes it is! It’s on your property they fell and are hurt. One of those ladies went to the ER and came back with a broken arm. Hotel never did an accident on property report!!! BEWARE.
There was a dead huge cockroach in the bathroom I called to the desk four times, new desk clerks kept arriving for there shifts so there reply was "I just got here so & was not aware of the problem". It took 3hours for them to complete the task. Everyday you have to ask for towels, toilet paper. Not a good place to stay
Beautiful lobby. Rooms are in drastic need of updates and cleanliness is lacking. I hate rooms with carpeted floors. There was so much dust near the bed on both sides. Moldy AC vents and I had to call maintenance to come spray for some little flying biting mites that they apparently know are an issue because front desk asked me if I was near an area as if the calls were common about those bugs. After they sprayed I didn’t have a problem.
We were going to arrive at the hotel around 11pm, so I called ahead to check-in. They said I had to use the app. I tried, the app wouldn't install on my phone. So I called back, the rep kept trying to play tech-support by asking odd questions like, "have you refreshed your phone". What does that even mean?! Finally after a few rounds of this, I clearly expressed that I was frustrated and said, "Look, I just need to be sure you haven't canceled my reservation when we arrive tonight! The app isn't working. Can you check me in??" She said should put a note on my account for "hopefully" my room would still be available when we arrived. That night we get to the hotel. I had booked for 4 adults, a room with a bedroom and a sleeper-sofa. No bedding was in the room for the sofa. I go to the front desk. They don't have any extra pillows, so he hands me a huge lump of blankets and sheets to make up for it. Not intending to stay again. **Update** I almost forgot, there were used q-tips in the bathroom trashcan when we got to our room. Gross
The staff is friendly and helpful. Actual rooms are fine. The bathroom is disgusting—mold, peeling paint, rust, horribly discolored grout. Just appear dirty. We have a large group that comes twice a year and many of us will not be back because of the state of disrepair, mostly, in the bathroom. In desperate need of updating.
Breakfast was fantastic, however service staff was inconsistent as they were rushing us to leave; not giving guests a chance to get forgotten items. Also, there were no freshly baked cookies available.
First day breakfast was cold… Like just came out the fridge cold. I can’t get my fire stick nor ps5 to work on the tv. Staff said guess it not going to work and walked away.
There were 2 false fire alarms activated during last nights stay. There was a children’s competition being held there and children were playing in the halls….that may be how the alarms were pulled. There was a first was around 8:00pm and the second this morning around 10:00am. Evacuating for false alarms twice in one nights stay was very inconvenient.
I don’t even know where to start with this horrific experience!! The area of the hotel is sketchy and do have homeless people in the area. The hotel was extremely dated for a Doubletree hotel. And Elevators were anciently slow coming. As you see in the pictures there was dust as thick as the carpet, I almost fell out of the desk chair because it was broken, the other chair, carpet and lamps were all stained, toilet tissue holder broken, dry blood on wall, tape holding baseboards together, and the most concerning thing was the vent inside the bath tub with a missing screw as if it’s been tampered with. As a victim of sex trafficking, I am very aware and alert of my surroundings and this triggered me to the point of no rest on top of sneezing and coughing all night due to all the dust in the room. I went down to the front desk and the clerk was very helpful in adjusting my invoice however, whenever I got my banking statement it still showed the full price. I have called and left several messages for management to call me back in the last four days, however she has not returned my call but the front desk has insured me that she has been in the office every day. I’ve been a Hilton honors member for a very long time and I am very disappointed and almost disgusted at the poor customer service I have received at this particular hotel. I was in town for what was supposed to be Thomas celebration however, due to this experience, I completely regret my trip.
This hotel is in a rough neighborhood in Columbia. Homeless everywhere. The hotel is severely outdated. We got a balcony room and the material on the chair was peeling. The AC was out of place on the wall exposing the outside. Like outdoors and there was a breeze from the wind entering the room as well as gnats. The bathroom was small and only had a shower. The sink is outside of the bathroom. Breakfast is not included in your stay unless you pay for it. They charge a $50 deposit PER NIGHT. So all in all paid $500 for a balcony room that is small and the balcony needs to be repainted it's dirty looking. Cookies at front desk were stale. Waste of money.
Arrived at the hotel at 11:30pm and someone was already given my room when I entered. I'm lucky the guy was awake otherwise who would've known how that interaction would've gone if they were asleep. I was moved to another room and 2 days later started questioning bites on me; I found a tiny baby bed bug on the comforter tonight. Was originally offered the room right above the room I had just been in. I refused and was given a top floor balcony room. Upon entering I was worried it was already occupied and now that I'm in here, I'm paranoid I took the bugs with me from one room to another. I would not recommend this hotel at all! I am supposed to stay here again for 3 nights but I am going to request to be changed to another Hilton hotel! A disaster of a business trip! Rooms: Awful Service: Mid, whatever needs to be done to get to the next guest Location: Nothing within walking distance
If you want the worst stay possible choose the DoubleTree in Columbia South Carolina. Hallways and room smell like sewer gas. Room was filthy dirty and filled with fun surprises like mold on the AC duct work, mold in the shower, windows to a hallway where the lights never turn out, insufficient curtains to block out light, a toilet that runs a marathon every time you flush, carpet that feels sticky, a bed that feels like rock, pillows that stink, office chair that you cannot even pull out and use, and much much more. Save your money and move on to the next hotel. Trip Advisory ratings through the floor... This tells me management has no desire to make changes in operation. Hotel should get corporate flag pulled soon just like they did the Embassy down the road. Corporate Hilton please send shut down inspector soon!!
Really subpar experience, especially for a 4 star hotel. Our room was missing a mini fridge, no slippers and the paint was chipping off in the bathroom ceiling likely due to moisture damage since they have no bathroom fans. Sheets were clean, so I guess it’s fine for a night to stay at but I would’ve expected this level of quality from a 2-3 star hotel. Definitely would not recommend paying more than $100 a night- and that’s generous.
I flew to SC from Nevada to attend my son’s military gradation at Fort Jackson. My room was booked and paid in full in advance. I searched the site and didn’t see any specific information about a deposit amount. While I was on my flight, my bank account was cleaned out due to fraud, and I had dispute the charges with my bank to get money back into my account/ pockets while at the airport. HOTEL ISSUE; Once I arrived at double tree hotel on bush river, I was asked for a $100 deposit to stay in the room that was paid for in full already. I explained my financial situation to the manager lady at the front desk and assured her I would have my money back by 4am from Banknof America, and would pay the additional funds they were requested for the deposit. The manager immediately suggested I cancel my room and try to get my refund through Priceline. She was not willing to accommodate me at all knowing I would be homeless in the parking lot overnight if I cancelled. She didn’t care at all. I had to cancel and literally slept in the parking lot overnight so I could be next to a restroom(while on my menstrual). All I wanted was to see my son’s military training graduation so I stayed in that parking lot and suffered through the night. I just can’t believe a manger could be so heartless. It’s not like my room wasn’t paid in full a month in advance, and I offered to show her the proof of my bank account just being robbed and the follow up email from Bank of America stating I was getting my money back within 24 hours. Because I didn’t have spare funds for an unnecessary deposit at that very moment, I was treated like trash in a state where I knew no one and had no where to go for shelter. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality Double Tree by Hilton 2100 bush river road. March 25, 2025 at 9:30pm. ** They responded to this review below, as I was still stranded in South Carolina. I left several voicemails for the head manager and no one ever called me about my experience or to try and make things right.. but they felt the need to give a fake response to times review. Do not trust this hotel with your reservations, they will not accommodate you if there’s an emergency.
Very disappointed. We booked a night coming in late at midnight thinking we had two queen beds confirmed from reservation. When we arrived, none were available. They had a king with pull out couch which sufficed since we were tired and it was late. Room was nice very spacious bathroom was falling apart. Toilet roll was broken. The next day I woke up to get in a workout and walked into the fitness center, noticed I had stepped on something. When I looked down it was dog poop. Lost all my motivation to work out. I told the person at the desk. The only good thing is this place is right off the highway.
Came here to spend 1 night got here everything seemed fine it was okay until later that night a strange man wondered the halls trying to get into rooms???? Had to call security they really didn't do anything besides stand there and try to fix the door across the hall that was supposedly already opened and couldn't close. Staying here I felt disgusted just staying here SO GROSS. Never will come back again. Ever.
My fiancé and I stayed last weekend for a single night. The rooms were outdated and definitely weren't cleaned particularly well. We had a little bit of trouble with the TV, it kept saying to click menu to see all the options of said TV and to look at information about the hotel. It didn't work. Now these are all things we were happy to ignore, but they tried to screw us after checking out. As usual, we used a credit card for the deposit and incidental, and when we checked out we paid in cash. We had a reciept emailed to us confirming it was paid in cash and we owed them nothing. The deposit came off, but then two days later we got charged for the room again. My fiancé called multiple times trying to resolve it with them and was given the run around. They said they didn't even have our card in the system, that there was no record of that charge even coming out, they kept essentially trying to tell him he was wrong and there wasn't anything they could do. It was incredibly unhelpful, and very dishonest behavior. In the end we just disputed the charge, but the attempted thievery is disgraceful. My one positive: the shower pressure was amazing.
1. My room door has a hole in the bathroom door 2. The remote to the TV doesn’t work 3. The room is very dusty 4. The chair in my room is clearly out dated, the leather is tearing! NOT 4 STAR QUALITY
Our group wanted to host a large convention there. Everytime we discussed pricing, the fees increased. The quoting was amateurish and unprofessional. Make sure you have everything nailed now or you will incur ad-on fees. A complete waste of time taking to sales.
Totally disappointed!!!! Checked in and the front desk staff were delightful. They're was a church convention going on, so it was pretty crowded. I was asleep, only to be awakened by something crawling on me. It was a bedbug! I paid damn near 200 a night to be attacked by bedbugs? I immediately went down to the front desk as it was after midnight. The night auditor was very apologetic and worked hard to remedy the situation. I was eventually given another room. Kudos to the night auditor for her handling of a very delicate situation. I have stayed in Doubletree hotels all over the country, and I have never seen one as outdated and dirty as this one. I will NOT be returning to this hotel!
Idk who posted these reviews and gave multiple stars. This place needs to be renovated inside and outside immediately. It’s not clean. Stains on carpet. You can tell there’s water damage and holes that are just plugged up. Elevators were dirty. Walla are dirty. I hated that I booked here. Just go stay by university of South Carolina or downtown. The area it’s in is a rough neighborhood and sorta depressing.
Front desk terrible service from the start! Very rude and not friendly at all. As for housekeeping was told we will not clean your room you are only here 4 nights…. Unless you ask for it. Asked twice to freshen my room take the pile of dirty towels and change the overflowing garbage since the garbage cans are big enough for a 16 oz soda bottle! Nope didn’t happen asked twice. Thursday I had no clean towels wash clothes hand towels walked to the front desk we will bring them up that was about 730pm at 10:30pm called oh we will bring them up woke up at 1:30am called and the older gentleman brought them up around 2am! Ask for a cookie they hold those like hostages!!! Never again I have not had this service from any other Hilton terrible service.
Do NOT stay here if you want your room cleaned daily and don't want to get in a debate about it everyday. This place is ran like a Knights Inn, maybe save yourself money and stay there for the same quality or pick a better location and skip this place. I am a Diamond Hilton member, travel weekly for work for 20 years and rarely write reviews but this seems warranted.
My rating is based solely on my experience with the front desk as I didn’t end up staying for my reservation. Around 10:30pm after traveling with my children, I arrived at the hotel. I was exhausted, my kids were asleep in the car and I was ready to go to bed. Before online booking, I requested a crib AND called to confirm as it was a necessity for one of my children. The operator on the phone said “while it is a request, we take bookings to the top of the list for requests and you will likely have one.” When I arrived after getting my luggage and children in the lobby, the two women working saw me, chose to wait to greet me (one was on the phone, the other just stared at me smiling while I waited to be helped). She finally helped to check me in, only to say “I see you have a crib or pack-n-play requested. We don’t have those unfortunately.” As a tired mom, solo-parenting, with 2 little children this was shocking and upsetting. So I said I wanted to cancel my reservation while I started to cry and find another hotel with crib accommodations. Finally got in touch with someone at the Hampton Inn down the road and confirmed one. Meanwhile, the woman who helped me just stared at me until she got up and walked away from the desk. By now the other woman was off the phone and would not help me. As I was trying to book an appointment, my kids started wandering the lobby halls and I start chasing after them. The woman who helped me came back, hovering over me with her phone in her hand on the phone with someone, just staring at me. As I’m crying, trying to get my children from running away and book a new hotel, she just continues to stare at me. As I am collecting my things to leave, she just continues to stare at me and walk just behind me with me and my children. I have never been treated like this. A solo-parent, crying about a room accommodation late a night is not a crime. But I definitely felt like a criminal with how rude and unprofessional this experience was. I will be calling corporate.
This hotel is filthy. The seats in the lobby were so dirty. The room air vents had what appeared to be black mold around it. The lady working the front desk was so rude. Stay away from this hotel until management gets it cleaned.
I stayed 3 nights and4 days with my elderly parents. Not once during our stay did housekeeping service our room. We had no extra towels and no toilet paper in the room, which is basic hygiene and care especially important when traveling with an older adult. We walked to the front desk as instructed and requested supplies; staff promised to deliver them but nothing ever arrived. Repeated calls to the front desk went unanswered. The on-site staff were indifferent, offered no apology, and made no attempt to resolve the issue. This caused real inconvenience and stress while caring for my parent. For the price and the Hilton brand, this is unacceptable. I do not recommend this property and will not stay here ever again.
Hello, I stayed here for 5 nights This location really needs renovation. My room had several issues. The bathroom ceiling has mold on due to a water leak. Also there was some constant noise behind the wall and I could hear peoples voices through the vent in the bathroom. The bathroom door did not shut properly. The door to get into the room was beat up and I was afraid it would be easy break in. I was told by the front desk that if I was maid service that I have to call the front desk by 8 am. I will not do that. I ended up taking out my own trash. I was running out of toilet paper and had to embarrass myself by asking for a roll at the front desk. They gave me water and cookies when I checked in but the cookies did not taste good and had been sitting around for a while. The pillows were very small and uncomfortable. The funniest part of my stay was trying to use the microwave. They put it in the lowest cabinet and to use it, I had to lay on the dirty floor. Why not put it on top of the cabinet because there was enough space?
