Had an excellent experience at La Bodeguita. Atmosphere was great with live music and service was excellent as well. The menu had a nice amount of choices and the food was a 10/10. I would be here often if I lived on the area. Definitely coming back every time we come to visit.
We had a great lunch at La Bodeguita restaurant. We got a little overwhelmed when we first walked in, because the place was fully packed, but they still managed to sit us right away, and the service was still stellar. We ordered several items of the menu, and everything was delicious, with generous portions. We tried: the regular mojito, 1 piña colada, chorizo & manchego croquetas, the chorizo & masitas appetizer, their arroz campesino, which was so tasty, and the serving size was definitely enough for 2 people, and for dessert we tried their warm almond cake with ice cream, and their cafe bombón. Everything was delicious, and we had a great experience.
Surprisingly nice place, good food and service. Its a small place but is cozy with limited parking in front but has more parking in the rear. They have different specials during the week, Tuesday 50% off appetizer, Wednesday 50% off wine bottles, and Thursday is ladies night (free sangria).
I want to extend my gratitude to Karina Alba Ernesto Esther always a great pleasure so attentive. Thank you for your service great food awesome atmosphere. You are all wonderful. 👏🏼🙌
Excellent Cuban food! The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I want to come back here for dinner!! Note: I did come back for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised. The service and food was spectacular, even though the server could barely speak English. The live music was excellent. Definitely visit this place, if you have a chance!
A-fawking Mazing! Server was very gracious and conscientious. The 305 Mojito tastes how pitbull songs sound 😂❤️ The Pomegranate Margarita was a close 2nd. I got the mussels and wine sauce and paella (with lobster?) for me and my child. We both loved it. Got chicken and rice to go for my mom and she made me feel like I did the best job! So so good! Amen!
Amanda was absolutely amazing, the service was impeccable. Such a kind person and such attentive service. She made the experience amazing and warm! Definitely recommend asking for her
We’ve been there on a few occasions and have never been let down. Food, service, and entertainment are excellent. I’m going back to enjoy my birthday in a few weeks!!
Hands down this place is amazing. Our waiter Ernesto was on point . We ordered a lot flexibility food . Table of 15 . Everyones food/ tapas were delicious. The live flamenco music and dancer was a great addition to the atmosphere. We had an am I by time . Thank you for a great night
La Bodeguita is amazing I love the service the atmosphere relaxing, walking in is like feeling at home. Always with a great smile ready at all times Melody Yudenia Ysa Amanda Hansel are always attentive. I have also want to shout out Yaquira Charlie Any Charles. Food fresh so good best Cuban cuisine Spanish cuisine you want it you get it!! Thank you La Bodeguita 💞💓❤️🔥
For years I've drove by and heard of the food and service at this restaurant. I must have seen this restaurant in the last 25 years and always thought. I wonder if the food is really good there. Well one day the wife and I were looking for a stone distributer for a kitchen project. After traveling through the city we were hungry and tired. I told her, I have just the place to try. This was our lucky day. We arrived at the location aroud 3 pm. The place was occupied by many patrons who seemed to enjoy the ambience. Once seated we started with the mix drinks that were tasty, even for a non drinker. We had the corn as a starter and that just flew right in our tummies. The taste and flavor were great. We moved to our main dish and I must tell you I fell in love. Wow. We ate from each other's plates to take in the different flavors. Well the verdict is. You must go and try it for yourself. I plan on splitting my time on Saturdays between my New favorite restaurant and the old favorite restaurant. Let me know how it turned out for you guys. I would recommend you try anything and your company try something else just to take in all the best tasting you can in one sitting. They are famous for their croquetas de Rabo..... the wine selection if plentiful. There is a flair of vintage Spaniard in the restaurant and most of the clients are well dressed and respectable.
Great energy, delicious tapas, and perfectly seasoned plates. Everything felt fresh and homemade. Definitely one of my favorite Spanish restaurants in Hialeah. A true GEM!
Amazing experience at La Bodeguera! The food was flavorful and authentic, and the service was top-notch. Ernesto went above and beyond—super attentive and very kind. We’ll definitely be back!
Food was amazing I heard it was good but I was really surprised how incredible it was! Just one time I ordered online and the bag broke with the food inside I was able to save it but I just wish they had stronger paper bags.
Had an amazing experience in one of my favorite Spaniard Restaurant. The food and atmosphere is great and I love their Picahna meat However, it was not cooked in the proper temperature. I ordered it medium-Well and it tasted a little rare. I brought my own bottle of wine from Spain and there was an uncorking fee of $20 which I found pretty expensive. Besides from this everything was delicious .
Today is December 31 did last minute reservation spot was tight but the food and Yudenia server was great so I recommend to make reservations much earlier to get a great table but definitely recommend 😁
Great spot, the food here is incredible. I've eaten just about everything on the menu and it's incredible. Service was great 10/10 I would recommend to anyone.
Excellent experience at La Bodeguita Restaurant. The food was amazing, full of flavor. The sangria was delicious and very well made. The mahi mahi fish had an incredible taste and was perfectly cooked. The seafood paella is definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. This restaurant truly surprised me. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it.
A must-visit spot for a great dinner paired with excellent service. We were served by a young, multi-talented male server who truly elevated our experience. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations, and even handled cocktail making seamlessly. We visited on a Wednesday and were pleasantly surprised to find bottled wines at 50% off. Definitely worth planning your visit around their themed nights for the best value and experience.
I was resting in Florida and went to this place with my family. I was pleasantly surprised that they had live music. The food was EXCELLENT!! VERY AUTHENTIC. We ordered plenty of drinks..the sangria was amazing and not overly sweet. All appetizers were delicious. From the boquerones, croquetas, oxtail empanadas to all our meals. Every dish was in point and delicious. Portions are large and everyone was happy.
Excellent place for lunch. I was told by a friend so We came everything we tried was Excellent! Try the chorizo al vino, enpanadas, and the paella de cola encedida. Parking is OK not many spaces. :(
We have been visiting this place and it has really been very good. The girl who attended us very professionally, Amanda, with a lot of dedication and preparation in her work. Also highlight a boy who was bringing the food and a young woman who also came to the table to bring the paella. A team in general very professional. The food was very good, well served and of good quality. The place is very cozy. Clean and organized. Recommendable to go.
Don't let the coin laundry and the supermarket next to it scare you off. They have designated parking with someone checking to make sure. We went on a Friday night and there was live music. We tried quite a few plates. The fried red snapper was huge (good to share) and delicious, the chicharrones, perfect. The sauce of the mussels was dreamy and the croquetas were tasty and gooey. I had fried pork chucks that were seasoned and another guest had the bone in pork chop. Everyone enjoyed their meals and sides. We had a great time and would definitely go back. Our bill was high because we had quite a few drinks but the food was reasonably priced.
We love the food and atmosphere here. The live music is wonderful. We frequent on Tuesdays for 50% tapas, but have also had several dinners and celebrated birthdays there. They even allow you to bring your own cake! The wait staff is friendly and offer great service.
Service is fast and attentive Flavors are really good. Little disappointed that I read on their online menu, they had salpicon de mariscos, and went for it, but at the restaurant menu, there is none. However, I like everything we tried
Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Budget friendly and delightful service.
La Bodeguita did not disappoint! After hearing reviews from El Caballo, we had to check it out. I know we’re a little late to the party. Totally worth it! The food was excellent, from the appetizers all the way through dessert. The service from Carlos was top-notch. Out of the few drinks I tried, the piña colada was definitely my fav.
I visited to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and we were absolutely blown away. Amanda, our waitress, was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. The food exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with live music that added an extra special touch to the evening. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were outstanding. Highly recommend this place for any special occasion!
This place is literally the definition of a "hole in the wall". As we were driving to the place, it seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. Be aware that parking is pretty tight. But there is a family dollar parking lot across which has some parking available. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you've been transported to Spain. It feels like those little bodegas. So keep in mind the tables are pretty close together. There is a wall that displays all their wines and it's beautiful. They also have a stage and there's flamenco on Saturdays! Our waiter was awesome. It was our first time and we were in a large group of 12. And he was very patient with us. He thoroughly explained the menu to us and answered any questions we had. All the food came out relatively quickly and he was on top of making sure everything was delivered to the table. So menu wise it's a Cuban flare Spanish style restaurant. So think tapas and paellas and some Cuban dishes too like vaca frita. It was a great combo. We went for a bottle of wine and a tabla mixta. The tabla was huge. Great for the price. We added an order of pan tumaca and omg that's a board in itself! Delicious!! We also tried the croquetas mixtas which bring 2 croquetas de jamón y manchego and 2 croquetas de paella! Yes.. you read right, paella croquetas! Of course we had to try it. It actually tasted just like paella lol!! It was quite interesting! I loved it! But the jamón y manchego croqueta was the favorite among the table. We also got an order of chorizo en vino and it was delicious as well. For dessert I got the crema catalana. The taste was perfect. And finished it off with an espresso and that espresso was the highlight. Que Rico! The perfect Cuban espresso! It was a Saturday night so we did get to enjoy the flamenco dancer and guitarist. It was amazing. Definitely recommend checking this place out! But make reservations!
The food was amazing, the service was incredible, we had a great time celebrating a birthday here and visiting from out of town, so happy we found this place!
This place is definitely off the beaten path in Hialeah, but the vibe is amazing. The lights are low, live violin was playing during happy hour too! The cocktails were good and the food was amazing, the pork belly was perfectly crispy!
Came here after visiting my last merchant. Plave.looked nice and staff was friendly. They told me on Tuesday was half price appetizer. I order the 🍤 Pampana and 🍄 croquettes. Excellent, nice and well fried. Not greasy. Bangers. Then I had a pomegranate martini. Really good. Gonna bring my gringo co-workers here to la ciudad de progresso. Hialeah #1.

This place is beyond amazing, a truly Hialeah’s gem. At night they have a flamenco show . Food and drinks were very good. Nice ambiance and a very quiet and friendly atmosphere. I’d say parking is the only bad thing

This is fantastic local tapas and even main dishes. There's live music Tuesday through Sunday. Parking is a little sketchy but is available just behind the restaurant, do not park at the family Dollar. There are great cocktails as well as house sangria. We only found this place due to local recommendation. Highly recommend is worth a visit!
Excellent service, atmosphere, and well-prepared food. Definitely a place to return to. We went to celebrate a birthday and they allowed us to bring our own cake. Thank you all for your excellent service.
Came here for my dad’s birthday and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious!!! We had a party of 15 and our waiter, Ernesto was amazing!!! Hidden gem in Hialeah. If you like Spanish food, this is the place.

Had a great meal here! The food was flavorful and well-prepared, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Service was friendly, though a bit slow at times. Overall, a really enjoyable experience — I’d definitely come back and recommend it to others.
Excelent food, Great service but some plates are extremely overpriced and you don't see the prices on the menu until is time to pay. "Patatas bravas" are not made at the actual Spanish style and the "Pa amb tomaquet" is in the menu as "pan tumaca" even when they have a girl from Catalonia as waitress. By the way, her name is Jennifer and she is amazing at her job, her charm makes you feel as you were actually in Spain. This place doesn't have 5 stars from me because of prices, and the bad surprise you get when the check arrives. Prices don't match with the ones published, and are not displayed in the menu. Four croquetas are $15, Filet mignon is $40 and chuletón is $60... Those are just some I remember. We were a table of 7, I think we didn't eat that much and we end up paying $70+ per person. Mandatory tip of 18% was included in the check. The paella is good and is at fair price of $25
The food here is very authentic and amazing. We went on a Tuesday when they had half price tapas. We also had a pitcher of red sangria. Probably the best i've ever had. My major downside is they do not speak english here, so if you are fully American, please be aware. Bring someone who speaks Spanish. Because if you use google translate, they will probably laugh at you and throw you out.... Just joking, but only a little.😁😁
Excellent tapas. If you are into paella also great place to have. Be prepared to wait a little as everytime I have gone dining room is filled.
Being a first time visitor. The vibe is a calm more romantic vibe. You have an extensive wine selection. You are greeted with a warm French roll that you definitely want more. The croquetas are wonderful my favorite was ham. It’s nothing like I’ve had before. And as a chunkier I’ve had them all. I had the breaded chicken à la Milanese which was fantastic a must. My husband’s sweet potato fries were great. I took most of them. 😊 parking is a bit tricky but do able at the time I went which was mid day. Anything later I can see an issue.
The food in this restaurant is very good. The tapas we ordered were delicious, but I think that the drinks are amazing. The cortadito martini was my favorite. The service was good, just a bit slow …

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but is lacking in service, food flavor. One, the parking is limited. A few parking spots in the front, and limited parking in the back. Two I suggest you make reservations Three, the waiters seemed over welded, service is slow plenty of waiters, lots of movement, but nothing was getting done. The food presentation was good, but when I bit down on the food, it had little to no flavor. I had the cod fish. It tasted rubbery. The other family members had pork steak the steak was covered with a weird smoke sauce. The lemon steak was good. The sangria I have to admit was very good. Overall it was Okay. Next time Ill go to El Palacio De los Jugos.
10/05/2024 After many years, I returned to this restaurant and would like to thank the manager for the always friendly attention. This time, we made a quick stop to enjoy some tapas with friends. Food: Although we just had a few bites, out of the three dishes we tried, I particularly liked the fried cod, a typical dish from Portugal that was quite good. Service: Considering it was just tapas and wine, the service was correct and attentive. Ambiance: The restaurant was almost full for a Saturday night. The show wasn’t as amazing as I remembered, but the crowd enjoyed it, creating a fun atmosphere. Conclusion: I’ll return to try their main dishes and share my thoughts on the full dining experience.
Used to be my favorite local restaurant but no longer. I took a take out since we had our dog with us. I was really disappointed with the amount of meat we got. The Cuban Fried Pork Chunks were six small pieces and the Arroz Campesino hardly had any meats. It is no longer a good value although the taste of the food was very good. I am not coming back.
