By far the best place I’ve been to, customer service is excellent. Food has a unique flavor that you can’t find at any other restaurant, it makes you crave their food. My number one spot I’d pick 100 times over!

If you ask for hot salsa, you will not be disappointed.

Honestly that's how I rate my experience. Tastes 💯 authentic and food comes out hot as it comes straight off the stove. The chili relleno was perfect and flavors 😋 I'm hungry just writing this review. ❤❤❤ if you don't live in town well worth the drive. You won't be disappointed

Beautiful cozy restaurant a super cool lady took my order it was CAMARONES A LA DIABLA and of course super spicy but the unbelievable taste is like I was in Mexico and when you eat that spicy food you most certainly have to ask for a MICHELADA DON BENNY'S STYLE, definitely I strongly recommend this restaurant they have top of the line service, super clean and the most important part is that they have fresh food and fits everyone's budget you better bring your family bon appetit My friends 😉

Some of the better al pastor I've had in a long time, if not in the top ten. Spiced well, good meat quality, and a good portion. Don't know what that broad a few reviews below is complaining about, I got a burrito with all the trimmings for $5.99 that most people charge about $7.99 for, and left full. Some people. Go give this place your money and keep them open so I can stop in whenever I have to drive through Colusa. They make good food and give you enough of it. What more do you want?

Service was good. Enchiladas were great. Good homemade tortillas.

Had an hour to kill before a meeting in Colusa CA. Noticed Birrieria Michoaca and pulled in to have a coffee and light breakfast. It was early in the morning and I was the first customer. Chairs were still up on tables and the waitress was cleaning. She stopped and took my order - Chorizo and eggs with beans and rice. So much for my light breakfast. The food was excellent. They do something different with the beans. They were very good. I have to say the coffee was very average, maybe even instant. If I am ever in town again I will go back for a lunch or dinner.

Stopped here for lunch while passing through Colusa. Very good wet burrito and wife had very good taco salad. Popular local spot and everybody knows each other. Fast service was very good too. Some parking for large rigs. We found a spot while towing our 30' trailer and another semi was parked there too.

This place was not open or out of business. Stopped to have lunch but was closed. Google maps showed it was open..

Authentic Mexican food, nice people, prices were a little high for drinks.

I's a real good place home made corn tortillas. I have tried carnitas real good! Tried virrea de chivo meet was tough, I was tired when I finished my plate. Good flavour!

This is my opinion only. I cannot recommend this restaurant. The lady waitress was rude Frozen enchiladas taste better then the ones I ate there. You're better off stopping at Jeff's hamburger stand or the casino to eat.

Service was good, food just ok. However, when processing through my bank, it showed Birrieria Michoacan for $75.79. The "pending" expired and the charge came back $80.79 but through A&M Contreras INC for gasoline. I never authorized 80.79, only 75.79. What is more concerning to me is now the charge shows as a gasoline charge for 80.79 instead of Birrieria Michoacan for 75.79 at a restaurant. Check your banks after eating here, every little $5 extra charge adds up. Also, showing gas and not a restaurant is very concerning. I googled this A&M company, and was given the ladys name and address of who either works here or owns the restaurant. Never had this happen before, very odd and I will not be coming back.

Well the food is edible I guess if you try to got away from your kitchen for a while is ok last time the food was cold though and the tortillas feel like were from the day before the personnel is not professionals at all they were trying to give me a big lecture about wearing masks but most of the people that were coming in didn’t have it the excuse was that they were just picking food up news flash people it doesn’t matter if you want everyone to wear masks put a sing on the door like everybody else and please learn how to wear it properly

The food is decent enough, but there prices are ridiculous, they decided if you can have chips and salsa depending on the day, even if your willing to pay for them, they close way too early, and the owner is RUDE.

Why no change the hours of operation? Today was closed and taking us a 1 hr to arrive and saw the sign “closed”. We found this w a good stars place on Goggle Maps. :( sad for no try the food.

Apparently you have to be Mexican to get service. After ordering I sat there for 20 min everyone who ordered after me got their food then they messed up my order. Wasn't happy

HORRIBLE, DON’T DO IT… WARNING!!!!! WARNING!!!!!! WARNING This place is extremely rude, offensive and has horrible food and customer service. I googled Mexican restaurants in colusa ca. since I do not live in the area. Their menu advertises the wrong prices. (Owner says wrong prices for 10 years) once I showed the menu price online. Trying to be helpful mentioned that the menu prices can be updated easily, as a business owner myself I do it as needed. I placed a to go order for a breakfast burrito that was $4.99 on the google/website menu and I was charged $7.99 no biggie. I replaced the meat option with beans instead and was charged $3.99 for the beans. Now my Order is $12.00 for a (small) potato, egg, cheese and bean burrito. I tip $3.00 and my total is $17.00 after taxes. I drive home to the disappointment of my order being incorrect. My (small) breakfast burrito that I thought would be $4.99 plus taxes did not have any beans that I paid $3.99 for and no actual potatoes but came with hash (very misleading). I called to inform them of the incorrect order and was told I can return and they will give me a side of beans. I asked if they could remake my order instead of having a side of beans and they said yes. I returned to receive the worst treatment imaginable! They made my order incorrectly again once I was there. After the second time I brought it to the owner’s attention and she just threw her hands up and walked away from me. In shock with mouth wide open I politely walked to the front counter and just asked if I could order something else instead. The owner cursed me out in Spanish in front of the restaurant guests. She refused to allow me to order something different and refused to refund my money and on top of that refused my service as she pointed to the sign that says right to refuse service. I’m astonished by what’s happening because I’ve never! They got my order of beans, egg, potatoes and cheese wrong twice and treated me like I did something wrong towards them for mentioning it. I even gave 2 tips a DIY tip for updating the online menu price and a $3.00 tip on a $17.00 takeout order. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME and MONEY! I would never treat my customers at my business like this. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. I lost out on a full refund, breakfast, time and not to mention gas. She will not have to worry about refusing service to me because I refuse to revisit! Who does that? Can’t make this stuff up! SMH

I hate to be this person but what happened to my mom and little brother the other day is unbelievable. My mom went to eat to this establishment. She said even from the start the staff was rude. My little 3 year old brother started crying because he’s child, children cry. He asked my mom to use the restroom, my mom tried entering the restroom and one of the workers told her no because she was mopping, which is understandable. My mom told her he really needed to use the restroom, the lady proceeded to tell her “no, your child has been crying, he’s not going in the restroom”. I have worked customer service for YEARS now and I would never ever deny a child to use the restroom, specially since they were paying customers.
