I don't normally take time to write reviews, but this restaurant was so outstanding that I've come back and flipped open my lap top. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was great - cozy but modern, upbeat, really nice lighting, not stuffy. Great for a couple or for a group of friends, or any kind of gathering really. I will remember this place as one of my all time favorites. It's just outside the old city, but only a 10-15 min walk and so worth it. Much less touristy too. Highly recommend going here if you're visiting Como. We loved it.
Outstanding service. Despite 2 large groups(+10s) being in the restaurant the servers were still attentive and timely. Food and drink amazing(50+ wines to choose?), intimate decor, very clean. Most memorably will be the service, friendly, helpful and patient, not rushed but not slow. Surprisingly not too expensive either! Perfect dining experience.

Great steak and wine. Shared two different 1kg cuts of porterhouse between 4 people with sides and it was great quality and the perfect amount. Lovely setting and great service also.

Have visited this place twice so far and both times thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat is great quality and well prepared. The ambiance is vibrant and romantic.

Locanda dei Giurati in Como is a must-visit. The steak and wine were both fantastic, and the location and design of the restaurant were great. The service was excellent as well, making for a truly unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended!
The restaurant is located outside of the old town in an rustic cellar. Loved the food and how it was presented. I also tried the dry aged Angus beef which was really tasty. The homemade sauces which were served along with the meet were unique but not my taste. Would definitely recommend this place.

We got the meat board and it was really good. The only issue we had was with the service. It took a while for someone to come and take our order but overall still a good experience.
4.5 Stars A very nice restaurant with a comforting ambiance and nice staff. We had to move our table mid-eating, because it was too narrow for other tables, which was a bit annoying. Other than that they were really obliging and gave a good winetip. Unfortunately we couldn‘t taste the wine before it was served, which felt unusual. The food was delicious, we recommend the beef carpaccio and the beef tartar (the latter could have used a bite more seasoning but it still tasted very good). We had a Tbone-Steak with meat from Bratislava, which was very tender and well seasoned. One of the best steaks we‘ve eaten for a total of 80€ for 1kg (for 2 persons enough if both eat a appetizer). The food was okay, but not mind-blowing. The cnocco fritto were quite good, but my husband was not a fan of the lamb skewers nor the salad he chose as a side. Tagliata di Milanese was better than the skewers because of the sauces that provided flavor. The tiramisu was just okay and a bit hard to eat due to the hard chocolate on top. My guess is that the other meats are better than what we chose. Edit. We ended up going to the restaurant again after another restaurant denied our reservation. We were kindly welcomed in although the restaurant was quite full already. The food was better but still not amazing. We were, however, thankful that they welcomed us in and the experience was more pleasant this time, so I changed my review to 4 stars.

lovely place located underground with an inviting atmosphere, suitable for families and couples. Great selections of cured meats and cheese along with more common meat dishes
I absolutely did not like the service, it felt like I was being done a favor to bring me a dish and water. It was also extremely unpleasant to be in the establishment, as the service was putting pressure on the environment. I requested a roast beef without sauce, but it was brought to me with sauce and then it was changed, but again with a sense of favor… I will never return to this place for anything and don’t recommend anybody else!
The starters we ordered were amazing, and then we ordered one of the meats that was suggested to us by the waiter. It came and it looked really incredible cooked to perfection, but when we tried it we were disappointed because it didn’t taste like anything.. it tasted like the salt we put on it, but nothing else. The staff was nice when we explained the situation, but we paid 10 euros a gram for 1kg of this meat, and it wasn’t good.
Avoid like the literal plague, unless you have some strange compulsion to punish yourself. Delusions of grandeur on show with bang average food, served without enthusiasm by waiting staff who must be looking forward to having something better to do later. Everything we ate, and that I could see other people eating was... weird. Half-baked ideas without any cohesion whatsoever. Here's some bread and oils to enjoy! Oh, but we're not going to give you plates, so feel free to use your napkin. Enjoy your steak tartare! And no, we're not going to season it whatsoever or give you enough bread to eat with it. Hope you like your pasta! We've made it really, really dry and chucked some random slices of sweet pepper on top, as we didn't really know what else to do with it. You could have two mind-blowing meals in virtually any other restaurant in Como for the same money, so why make yourself sad and dine here once?
