Great neighborhood spot!! Great portions! Delicious food!
We took a large group here for Easter brunch last year and this year. The food, service, and atmosphere were awesome! I ordered the pescatore, and each person in our group ordered something different. All of us were delighted by the choices on the menu and how great our meal was. We had such a terrific time, we will definitely go back to eat here again soon.
Definitely book a table in advance; seating is limited. The price is very reasonable for the quality. It takes slightly longer than average to get food, so I wouldn't recommend this place if you're in a rush. Everything was perfect except the shrimp which were overcooked by about 5 minutes. But that's not going to stop me from returning to try everything on the menu.
Made a last minute dinner reservation for my sisters birthday. Not only did they squeeze us in, the food was AMAZING. Friendly service and they have the best mushroom ravioli I have had in my life. 10/10 would recommend
This restaurant is a great place anytime, and perfect for special occasions. As always, the food and service are outstanding. The cozy, charming ambiance makes us feel as if we have been transported to the Mediterranean. OK, the view is not of the sea, but seeing the parking lot reminds you that there are plenty of spaces, and free, too. Dining here turns a simple meal for two (like my husband's birthday lunch today) into a special, memorable occasion. Forget downtown Walnut Creek and just head over to Fiore in Concord!
Fiore has become a Thanks Giving tradition for my daughter and me. The food is good, and the staff are all warm and friendly. They treat us like family.
The lamb sandwich was so delicious, as well as the tomato soup! My daughter & I had lunch last Sat & the attentiveness of our server was wonderful. I'll definitely go back!
Best place we have been to lunch in the area. The meatball sandwich is very good, as is the tomato soup. My BF likes the salad. The bread is really good which is served at the table. It is a family owned place, ad the service is very good. It is a white table cloth, more upscale kind of dinning. We had dinner here, and my BF had the Gorgonzola with Penne, and he loved it, plus I thought is was good as well. I had the lasagna, and I did not like it. I didn't like the sauce, which was supposed to be a meat sauce but seemed more like a marinara. I would not get it again.
We had a wonderful experience there. Everything was top notch. I can personally speak for the lasagna; the perfect balance of a bright tomato sauce with a glorious bechamel...mmm To update, the Moroccan Chicken is glorious.
Go during lunch nobody goes during lunch and it's Nice and empty I do feel like they deserve more business because the food is genuinely good and a staff is lovely and it's been there forever. Dinner of course is lovely I just want to see more people in there during lunch If you get a salad try the beet salad The chicken sandwich as well as the meatball sandwich are both really solid Not much to say it's a lovely place
have visited a few times now, and never had anything but compliments to express towards the cooks and the delightful, exceptionally polite service. The manger himself visits on occasion and gives me the sense that he trusts his staff and yet still always keeps assuring the quality Italian dining I really enjoy! A solid choice for any special or relaxed evening!
Absolutely delicious! We ordered take out for Thanksgiving dinner and we were pleasantly surprised at the robust flavors in the lamb shank and the pasta was like in Italy! Will def go back!
Quaint little place. Seems like a little hidden gem, the gentleman that seemed to be the proprietor/bartender/server was no more than one generation from Italy. The portions we're ideal sized to fill up without any waste. The restaurant was clean and we'll kept. I really enjoyed the mellow atmosphere and delicious food. I highly recommend this place.
Love this little place. Service is always wonderful, place is always clean, the wine selection is great (beer and wine only, no spirits) and the dishes are always hot and fresh. Perfect for date night, or even for a solo treat. It has romantic ambiance: wooden patina, mood lighting, cafe style tables but only recommendations would be different music selection (more traditional) and declutter the ladies restroom.
This place was amazing. 5 stars across the board. Friday night, no reservations, but still were accommodated and seated right away. Chose the patio seating but was offered a choice of indoor or outdoor. Waiter was very attentive but not intrusive. Excellent recommendations. Had the olives for appetizer, spinach soup, then the Mediterranean Beef. The sauce with the olives was so good. Made a food dip for the fresh bread. The spinach soup had the taste and consistency of pea soup. Wasn't what I expected but was pleasantly pleased. The beef was flavorful and tender and the potatoes, carrots, and squash were perfectly cooked. Not soggy, but not raw. Just right. Prices are a great value considering the quality of the food. Very pleased with the experience and will be returning again next time I'm in the area
Our time at Fiore was one filled with great food and a great service. Its atmosphere, mainly due to the restaurant's size, is compact but cozy. If you feel a bit squished, however, there is outdoor seating as well. The drinks here are great, and they do not skimp on the alcohol. Their wine selection can compliment any dish you choose. The food here is fresh and homemade with full flavors. The staff are friendly and made the experience fun. If you're looking for a small and fun Italian restaurant at a great price, Fiore is the place to go.
Had a really enjoyable meal here. My favorite bread dipping sauce is here, and it's their olive pesto dip. It's garlicky and yummy. We got the gnocchi with Gorgonzola, Moroccan chicken, short ribs, and a salad. Satisfying meal with good flavors. It's a neighborhood gem that likely has regulars. The service with Ford was awesome and super welcoming.
Fiore is a true gem! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was excellent, and the dessert was absolutely outstanding. Every bite was a perfect balance of flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Excellent food. Excellent service. Everything was Delicious. We started with the stuffed mushrooms. A perfect small plate to start with. Each mushroom was stuffed with crab. Very tasty. I had the mushroom ravioli. The pasta was cooked Al dente which I decided I rather enjoyed. The sauce was rich and creamy. My friend had the Marchigiana Granchia: penne pasta with crab meat and shrimp. That dish was very flavorful as well. Simple, minimal ingredients really brought out the flavor of each ingredient. We also enjoyed the cream puff dessert which was lots of fun. I will definitely go back.
Excellent place and prices are worthwhile for this amount of food , you could taste the freshness and quality of the food. $100 even for 3 people. This restaurant seem busy I thankfully made a reservation through Google before I came here
Came with a friend and I definitely enjoyed dinner here. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. The service was quick and efficient. The ambience was delightful, felt comfortable.
We came a bit late on a Sunday night. This is a little family style Italian place. The instant we entered we were met with a wonderful aroma of garlic and pasta. The entire experience from the staff, to the food, to dessert was awesome!
Had a wonderful date night! Love the small intimate atmosphere! Had the cream of mushroom soup, oh my! Always love going especially since it right around the corner. Staff is always friendly, food is always yummy and dessert is, well dessert:-))
4.5 stars. The carpaccio was immaculate. Clean and cozy environment. They seemed to be a little bit short-staffed, but the overall experience was good.

Food was very good (I had the Tagine), but the service was the star of the show. Great experience for our team after a long week on site. We were greeted with warm and positive energy. The whole night we felt taken care of. Thank you!
I recently dined at this charming Italian restaurant and was absolutely blown away. The service was impeccable; our waiter was attentive and made excellent recommendations. The food was a masterpiece—fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The risotto was creamy, and the pizza had the perfect thin crust. The ambiance felt like a cozy Italian trattoria, with rustic decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Every bite was pure bliss!
A lovely evening! We enjoyed our time together until after close. Our waiter was attentive, the food was delicious, the atmosphere warm and inviting. Truly, this local gem captured the essence of an Italian family restaurant and everything you’d expect.
It's a little family owned Italian restaurant situated directly next to a creamery. I've eaten almost everything on their menu and am persuaded to think they have a saucier hiding in the back. I personally like the short ribs. Last time I was in, the owner spent about 10 minutes walking a little old lady to her car. It was the perfect entertainment. Service for 2 looks something like $120. (antipasta, salad, main course, wine, dessert, and tip)
Great fresh pastas and bruschetta. Loved the family friendly environment. Would definitely come back!

Delicious, authentic (I think) food, made fresh. My companion ordered the meatball sandwich, and I ordered the pasta carbonara. Can't remember if the pasta was spaghetti or fettuccine, but it was good. It's a very small space in a dying strip mall...friendly service makes up for the sketch location. On the other hand, if the location were more upscale the prices would be way higher. Good experience overall...I encourage any Italian food lover to try it.
Food quality, quantity and flavor was great, but too loud for a decent conversation. Seating/comfort limited and service needs a bump/help. Seems like a loud family/familiar environment. Prices were also reasonable. Will return for food.
Excellent food across all the courses and very attentive service. While it's not my best meal in a restaurant, it is certainly in the top 20. The evening's special was lamb chops cooked in the wood oven -- fantastic. All the pasta dishes were as good as what I recently ate in Italy. Really. Homemade and they tasted it.
4.5 start review - I do recommend creating a reservation if you plan to dine here it’s small restaurant and gets filled up quick. We were seated right away though bc we had a rez. Highlights: - Wine selection is good. - Food is super flavorful and came out hot! We had the rosemary focaccia, olive dip, soup of the day (that day it was tomato soup), lasagna, crab raviolo (which was a daily special), and chocolate mousse cake. - Good wine selection also - very wide variety from all over. Things that can be improved: - If bread can be served warm that would be preferred, it’s a good focaccia that tastes house made, just needs ti be warmed. - The espresso martini was not a good, it tasted like a watered down iced coffee. But they were nice to take it off my bill since I didn’t like it. Overall we had a pleasant experience dining here and will return.
Relaxed environment with good service. Enjoyable meal with a friend who suggested the haunt. I’d say the lamb added to my salad was a fine treat after a hardy morning bike ride around the nearby trails. Clayton is a lovely town with good eats!
I really want to give them a 4.5, but they didn’t quite get a 5 because the service was slow for us... good, but slow. The food was AMAZING! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! Great for a date night 😁

The indoor section with a bar is very loud. Sit outside if it's not too hot and you want to have a conversation. We liked the menu selections and the food was delicious.
I expected more from this restaurant because of its high rating. Unfortunately, the service was not very good. We often had to wait for our waitress, and ordering another drink took about 20 minutes. We even had to wave to get his attention, as he didn’t notice us. There were available tables, so it seemed they should have had enough time for their guests. Also, the waitress spoke very quietly, and we had to ask him to repeat herself several times, which made communication difficult. As for the atmosphere, the design was fine, but I didn’t like the smell—it reminded me of an old room, which felt unusual for a restaurant. The first impression when entering wasn’t great. Regarding the food: the carpaccio was excellent and very delicious. I also ordered pasta with seafood. The pasta was al dente and the seafood was okay, but in my opinion the sauce wasn’t creamy enough and felt too watery. The lamb was not cooked well—it wasn’t tender and had a strong smell, which made it unpleasant. Additionally, the wine was too warm for my taste.

We were there a couple weeks ago with a friend. The service and the ambience wish good. I ordered the veal which was not on the menu I asked about it. He said yes we do. I ordered it. Hope it would be really good but it was very chewy. The owner came over and ask us how our meals were. The other two meals were great, but Neil was chewy and I told him he said sometimes if he gets that way that did not impress me very well. But the other two meals were very good

I have gone to the restaurant a few times couple of years ago and it was fine. This last weekend a group of six went for lunch, when we arrived, we were the only customers in there, at one point the was another table with a party of six. The food came in a timely manner, 5 of us ordered the special and another guest ordered the lasagna, the portions were small but the lasagna was very petite, it did not even looked like a lasagna. The manager came once, after that we have to be calling the waiter several times to request bread, water, bread etc. the dessert took a long time and it was nothing special. I think this is the last time I will visit this place.
Oh my Google reviewers, you completely misled me. Based on your score of 4.6 stars, I decided to give this place a shot before a concert at Concord Pavilion. And I have to say, I don’t get it. We walked in and there was one table seated and two people at the bar. All patio tables and other tables were empty. The host took us to the furthest table at the back of the restaurant, tucked behind a wall. I’m assuming this was because we didn’t have a reservation - not quite sure why we had to be hidden in the back. The host had terrible body odor, you can imagine my disappointment when he turned out to be our server as well and we had to endure bad b.o. every time he came by. The drinks and food were very reasonably priced, I love a good neighborhood restaurant with realistic price points. Menu has a good variety of cocktails, appetizers, and pasta options. We started with the olive pesto dip, which is their most popular appetizer. It’s described as mediterranean mixed olives with candied walnuts, pesto, honey balsamic and olive oil. Ours had no walnuts, minimal balsamic, and what seemed like feta cheese. Not sure. But it was just kind of a bland oily dip for the stale bread. For our entrees we ordered the ravioli and the carbonara. My ravioli was okay, the sauce was a weird brown color though which could be a little unappetizing visually. My spouse had the carbonara and it was bland. We had to ask for salt and pepper to try and season it. To make everything a little worse, the fresh flowers at our table had quite a bit of fruit flys which kept interrupting our meal. Once the food was delivered, nobody really came back to check on us. There wasn’t an opportunity to order more drinks, we were offered dessert by a different employee later in the visit, but once the restaurant started to fill up, we were kinda forgotten about in the back. I don’t know guys, I think you got this one wrong.

I have been to this restaurant before and the food is pretty good. Prior to today, I would've come back for another meal. However, today changed my opinion of the service this restaurant gives to guests and potential guests. Hours of operation according to google are 11:00 am-8:30 pm. If this is incorrect, it should be corrected. I went there today when it was supposedly open around 4:00pm to purchase a gift certificate for my boss. It was closed and said it would be open at 5pm. I went home and came back a few minutes after 5pm and it was open. I went inside and told the waiter that I wanted to purchase a gift certificate. I was told that the owner was not there but would be returning in 30 minutes. I said that I would wait as I didn't want to make a third trip to the restaurant. I waited nearly 45 minutes. During my wait, not one time did the waiter or any wait staff ask if I wanted a glass of water or to give me updates on when the owner returned. I left very unhappy. If this is the service that this restaurant provides to its customers or potential customers, then I just won't be coming back.

Husband and I have been here a few times and we love the food. However today we decided to go for a date night and we are giving it a 1 star because we waited over 40 minutes for our food. We ended up paying for our beer, wine and their amazing garlic dip and left. Our waiter didn’t even apologize for the wait and for our disappointment in waiting. He actually looked shocked that we decided we waited long enough and we were leaving. By the way we ordered spaghetti and meatballs and mahi mahi. We are so confused on why it would take over 40 minutes to make these simple dishes. Oh and there were only 2 or 3 other couples that had already received their food so we were the last customer to get there and order. Oh well.
Food was ok. My favorite dish, at this place, was the carpaccio, this time the pieces of meat were too thick for a carpaccio. No good. The waiter, as was the same as the other 3 times I went, completely ignored us. I think he is the main waiter there. At some point I had to call on the manager. We were the only ones around us who never got water or the desert menu, and probably the only ones who were craving for one. Sad, I really was hoping to like that place as we live close by. We came 4 times giving them a chance… glad you others has a great experience 😊
The food was tasty, but the service was awful. The dude at the front (who seemed like a bartender) didn’t even bother to answer a simple allergy question and went on to answer the phone. I get that he was multitasking, but the lack of a simple courtesy came off as I’m not welcome here anymore.
We were very disappointed with our whole experience. Their were four of us and our waiter was just awful. Kept pushing us to order before our drinks and appetizers came out. My cousins soup had a hair in it and took them 20 minutes to bring out a fresh bowl. Our entrées came out with our salads and were cold by the time we got to them. Waiter never checked back with us for water, drinks etc. Unfortunately, this same waiter worked at the sister restaurant and was a terrible waiter there too.
I am writing a bad review for incredibly disrespectfully and shady practices. I bought a $200 gift certificate from Fiore on line. They emailed me the certificate. I gave it as a gift to a friend. They would not accept the certifcate when she tried to pay for their dinner. They also have not returned my messages left the last 6 days with employees and on email. I am told that Habib is the owner and manager. This is how a customer is treated Habib? Shameful. The restaurant owes me $200. I paid my friend for their dinner, so I an actually out $350 now. What a rip off. A simple returned call could have cleared this up immediately. I suppose that I will have to sue them in small claims court to get my money back. Really disappointing.
