Had reservations for my birthday and it was fabulous! Ambiance is quaint and service was friendly and attentive. We started with the Carpaccio, which was delightful. We shared the beet salad which was so flavorful! I had the Lamb Shank, which melted in my mouth. My partner had the Ribeye and enjoyed it very much. Dessert was Limoncello was burst with yumminess! Love this restaurant!

I came here first the first time with some friends recently and was very impressed with Luna. The owner is amazing and the service here is done with love. Each dish seems to be thoughtful, with lots of effort in putting together the food as well as time spent preparing. Luna is one of my favorite restaurants for date-night with my hubby. It feels like a mix of fine dining, but cozy and romantic at the same time, especially some nights when they have a live accordian player. The service is wonderful, staff is friendly (we've had V a couple of times and he always makes us feel welcomed and gives great recommendations), and we love that the owner is often present and greets guests, making you feel very special and shows that he truly loves what he does; I believe it's family owned. Food is amazing! There hasn't been a dish that we've tried that we didn't love. The Mediterranean mussels are so flavorful and the sauce is addicting. My husband is obsessed with their lobster Ravioli. And I love the chicken parmesan, but tonight opted for a delicious rib eye. You can never go wrong with dessert and drinks either, pictured here is the mango panna cotta - love the banana cream and nutty texture that was added. Luna is easily one of the best Italian Restaurants in the East Bay. While I gloat about dinner, their lunch menu is just as amazing.

Here is a nice restaurant for a romantic dinner. The staff were polite. I like the atmosphere inside. We ordered: 🔹️1. Caprese Salad in large portions. It costs $12. This dish was delicious, everything was perfect. Tomatoes, mozzarella, enough balsamic vinaigrette. 🔹️2. Scampi Risotto. It costs $28. My rate is 4 from 5. I thought my risotto was a little overcooked. Tiger shrimps and day boat scallops were nice. I was worried about tomato-lobster sause, but it was so nicely done. Not too much tomato sause and reach taste of the lobsters. 🔹️3. Dessert It's an adorable dessert. Beautiful notes of chocolate, sweet sauses, and gelato. Overall, it was a good place, I would come back to try something else here!

My daughter and I came to this restaurant because she saw the menu and like the food that they had. It is small but it is also comfortable with very friendly and professional employees. The food was made hot and served quickly. I enjoyed the menu options and the prices are reasonable. Dessert was delicious and the manager is a great person for this restaurant. The chicken in the Caesar salad was very delicious and I liked the fact that I was able to cut the strips into as many sizeable pieces as I liked. My daughter was also given a coupon as a first-time customer that allowed us to get a free appetizer with the purchase of two entrees. That was a nice introduction for the restaurant

The only thing better than the food, which was delicious, was how attentive everyone was. Habib came out and visited with us for a little bit. Our server was excellent and always make sure our glasses were full. Can’t wait for my next visit.

"A Must-Visit Gem in Concord: Luna Italian Restaurant Delivers Authenticity and Charm" This week to celebrate our going away to Portugal, we had 2 separate dining experiences at Luna Italian Restaurant in Concord, CA, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in a comfortable, beautifully appointed ambiance that felt sophisticated yet welcoming, entirely free of stuffiness. The food is the star of the show here—incredible, authentic Italian cuisine prepared with genuine care and love. Every dish we ordered was a culinary delight. The Lamb Shank was fall-off-the-bone tender and rich in flavor, while all the fish dishes tasted incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. A special mention must go to the fresh pastas; they are, simply put, perfect. The kitchen's commitment to authenticity truly shines through in every bite. What truly elevated our evening from great to absolutely perfect, however, was the service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. We received outstanding service from Habib and "V" in particular, who made us feel like valued guests and ensured every aspect of our meal was flawless. Luna Italian Restaurant is, without a doubt, a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a top-tier dining experience in the East Bay. We cannot wait to return.

A Delightful Experience This restaurant has been one of my favorites for the past decade, known for its delicious food and beautiful presentation. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind, which adds to the overall experience. During a recent birthday dinner, we skipped dessert, but the attentive staff surprised me with a complimentary treat to celebrate, which truly melted my heart. Best Italian restaurant we've discovered on an early Sunday afternoon. We've come at a recommendation from a close friend of ours, and I am glad that we're near the area to try. We arrived 30 minutes earlier than their usual opening time, but they were very accommodating and took us in. We had a wonderful evening, and the food was phenomenal. I highly recommend the lamb shanks as well as their mushroom gnocchi for appetizers. But their pastas are very good as well. I highly recommend this place next time you visit concord. They won't disappoint. Shout out to ADAM for being a nice little boy to his momma!

Such a great restaurant. I went for dinner on a Saturday night and they had someone playing an accordion right at the entrance. The food and service was also excellent. Got the garlic bread, cioppino, gnocchi, and panna cotta and everything was great. Especially the garlic break, cioppino (largest muscles I've ever had), and panna cotta 😋!! And the restaurant staff are also extremely friendly and personable.

Let's start with the service. We arrived 15 minutes earlier that reservation time, and they sat us (Mind you they were closed) and began waiting on us. Idk they made us feel comfortable even thou most staff had not shown up... the service deserves more stars for sure!! The food did not disappoint at all we order a seafood pasta and was great!!! The bread was some of the best ( need SALTED butter thou ugghh). We will definitely be back!!! Check the place out!!+

We came from out of town. We are staying at the Hampton down the street. This was the right choice for dinner. We started with the mussels and I have to say that sauce was to die for. Really good. We had to use the bread to get the last drop. I ordered the risotto. Creamy, hot and delicious. It came with prawns and scallops. Again the tomato lobster sauce married with the risotto in a luxurious way. Totally yum. Marchigiana Granchio was outstanding, just like Mama used to make. The chianti was fruity with a dry finish. We were treated to a slice of probably the best tiramisu in California. Recommend.

This place was absolutely wonderful. For a fantastic dining experience, amazing food and the best service, you got to eat here. Romantic, cozy and relaxing. We had the best experience here. The best garlic bread I've ever had. Never would've thought to have goat cheese on garlic bread but now I'm a believer. Habib has been running Luna for a long time and is so genuine. It's easy to see how much he cares about the food and more importantly, the local community. Definitely will be coming back when I'm in the area!

Had a wonderful experience at Luna Italian Restaurant! The food was absolutely great — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was amazing from start to finish, making us feel truly welcome. Our server, Juan, was especially friendly and kind, and made sure everything was just right for our table. We saw went for the New Years Eve pre fixed menu. Was a major disappointment. We love this place and hope this was just a bad night. I had sea bass which was very overdone a d tough. Felt a bit ill after eating it. My party also had the beef dish which was poor. Sure hope they are not cutting corners because there on the way out.

Looking for this place on the map to write this review, I went across quite a handful of “should-of-had-it-there’s.” That was my big birthday dinner. I love Italian food. My pick, so my friends made the reservation. The food was good, but long from memorable. I found the Zinfandel SutterHomely sugary. Due to one of my friends clearing only a few days ago from a positive test, we wisely ate outside ON THE SIDEWALK - how discomforting; I should have picked a place with a patio, but I forgot to check for that detail. I found our waiter a little contrived. This place truly was not what I expected and I am disappointed with myself for not taking better research of where to eat.

Terrible experience & extremely disappointed. We came here for our friend’s wedding dinner and everything seemed to be going well until I got home. I ordered the chicken parmesan, and only ate half of it at the restaurant. Later that evening I went to eat the rest of my food after getting home and found that I was given a fully raw chicken breast. This is absolutely horrendous. I drove 40 minutes back to the restaurant the next day to have them fix the issue and they offered to make me another meal.. yeah no thanks. They also charged us for 2 garlic breads although we did not order the garlic bread, someone else at the table did. We had already told him once that we didn’t order garlic bread and he still made the mistake of keeping 2 orders on our bill. We were just ready to get out of the restaurant and willing to cover the garlic bread for our friends who did order it. We spent $140 total for 2 people, and for serving me a COMPLETELY RAW chicken breast got $28 back. This is absolutely pathetic and there are no excuses. The one that I did eat must not have been cooked fully either (it was dark outside and the lights were dimmed in the restaurant so I probably wouldn’t have been able to tell anyway) but I was up sick all night.
