Excellent option for Mexican food, from carnitas and gorditas to enmoladas, pozole, beef broth, etc. I ordered the chamorro (pork shank), and it was a generous size. It came with nopales (cactus pads), onions with manzano chili, and avocado. The gorditas with carnitas were delicious and not greasy at all. The pozole lacked flavor, but the beef broth was very good. The tortillas were thick. Service could be improved, but the atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is recommendable. The price is in line with the quality.

A great place, always consistent, and the service is very friendly. It could be better if they updated their menu a bit; I think it's been the same menu for years. Good place to stop by for carnitas and a glass of fresh water.

The food is well-seasoned and the portions are adequate (you'll be satisfied). The place is pleasant, perhaps a bit small, but not uncomfortable. The service is fast and the waiters are friendly. The menu offers a variety of Mexican dishes; the prices are almost double those of other places (for example, Toño's House), but it's worth it. One point that could be improved is that the parking is limited, but you can park your car a few meters away. It's a good place to eat.

Prices have gone up a lot and portion sizes have decreased at the restaurant, however, the carnitas are still tasty. The service is terrible; the waiters are rude and serve you reluctantly. I don't recommend eating there; it's better to order takeout.

Well, the name kind of stuck. The carnitas weren't anything special, just enough to fill you up. The salsas were pretty average... but the beer was ice cold.

Spacious and pleasant place. The food was just okay, nothing special. The gordita with pressed pork rinds seemed expensive for the amount of filling it had. The charro beans were good. Would I go back?... It's not one of my favorite places; I'd give it a try and explore other options.

The service is good, but it's inconvenient that they bring everything you order at once because it gets cold... I ordered a Tlalpeño soup and a carnitas taco, and they brought them together. While I was eating my soup, the taco was already cold 😃 Give the customer time to eat one thing at a time.

Too expensive, not tasty

Mi experiencia en el lugar fue más bien decepcionante. La comida resultó ser bastante normal, similar a cualquier gordita que uno podría encontrar en otros sitios. Decidí probar las carnitas tras escuchar algunos comentarios sobre la falta de higiene, incluyendo problemas de plagas, lo cual me generó cierta inquietud. El sabor, si bien oscilaba de normal a bueno, no logró destacar lo suficiente. Sin embargo, el aspecto más problemático fue el precio. No entiendo cómo una gordita puede costar 90 pesos; me parece excesivo y, en cierto modo, desproporcionado considerando la calidad ofrecida. Además, la actitud del personal fue algo prepotente, lo que no contribuyó a una buena experiencia. Dada esta situación, no tengo intención de regresar. Hay opciones en la zona que ofrecen carnitas de mejor calidad a precios muchisimo mas razonables, y eso es lo que buscaré en futuras visitas.

The food is good, but it's expensive for the portions they serve. The service is poor; the waiters only go out of their way to help those they know, when they should be giving the same attention since we newcomers are potential customers.

This place is super expensive! A quesadilla is almost 96 pesos and it's tiny. A huarache is 219 😝 It was okay, but there are better options in the area, honestly overrated... 55 pesos for a drink... and it's a mini cup... honestly, first and last time 😞
