I wanted some pinto beans so bad today. I went to one spot and they had closed . Someone else told me to check out Holly’s. I called young lady told me they closed at 2:00 as well. My feelings were hurt ! Ms Holly accommodated me!! I was elated . The beans were so good and seasoned to perfection.Thank you so much!! You made my day!! I will most definitely be back to see you!!

I have not eaten here in quite a very long time. My wife and I stopped by for lunch today. I can guarantee you that we will be back and soon. What a delicious meal!

You can't go wrong with Holly's. I work in the area and typically find myself having lunch there at least twice per week. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the staff are the friendliest folks around. Some of my favorite items: Country Fried Steak, Meatloaf, Roast Beef, Fried Chicken, and Chicken & Dumplings. Not all items are available on the same day. Check out the website for what menu items are available on the day you visit. You won't be disappointed with anything you end up choosing.

We live in Utah, but anytime we return home to the South, we look to get our southern cookin’ fix. Holly’s did just that! There were five of us who visited and we all loved it and said it’d become a yearly tradition when we come to visit my husband’s parents. The hardest part about eating at Holly’s is choosing which sides you want. I wanted them all! I highly recommend you choose the hush puppies when they ask for your bread choice.

Lunch was fabulous!! I had Fried chicken, greens, hash brown casserole & cornbread. My husband had Country fried steak w/white gravy, fried okra, squash casserole & a roll. The fried chicken was well seasoned & crispy…yummy!! Actually everything so good. Of course we had to have a piece of homemade pie to go.

Delicious food, friendly staff and customers. You can definitely tell some people are in there every day and practically family. It is cafeteria style but food seemed fresh, hot, and crispy when appropriate. I had the country fried steak with white gravy, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, Mac and cheese, and jalapeno cornbread. My only critique is that the cornbread was a little dry.

Food was very good, the place was crowded, tables needed to be cleared and cleaned so others could be seated. All in all we will definitely return as the country cooking was well worth it!

I was looking for a nearby chicken joint and this popped up on Google . I have to admit I was a bit confused when I walked into the place. I didn't see anything indicating how or where to go to order your food. I eventually saw a line start to form so I jumped in. I didn't see anything indicating the menu. It turns out you just go up to the counter when it's your turn to choose a meat and start pointing up the sides you want. Maybe because it was my first time there it felt hind up intimidating. I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode," no soup for you". As for the food, I ordered 2 fried chicken dinners with various sides. The sides were pretty good, we had sweet potato, fried okra, collards and cornbread dressing with brown gravy. My favorite was the jalapeno cornbread. However the chicken was overcooked and dry. I so much wanted to like this place because the ladies there was super friendly.

I have heard great things about this place. So I thought why not give it a try. The chicken was cold both mine and my husband’s. It also tasted like it was days old, reminded me of gas station chicken. The mashed potatoes and okra were ok. The roll however was the bomb!!! Would I go again.. no

Yuck, yuck, yuck. Had heard the hype for years, & finally made it in. Maybe it was bc we came in about 11:15, but the okra was cold & hard (yesterday's?). The cornbread muffin also appeared to be leftover, very dry. The chicken fried steak also appeared leftover, as it was tasteless & the breading just fell off. The only redeeming item was the hashbrown casserole. It was hot and tasted ok. The $6.99 meal somehow totalled about $12.50 with tea. Never again. Lesson learned.
