The food is pretty good, I am not a person who can handle spicy food, so I asked if they could keep the peppers off. I had the Texas Grilled Burrito, and hubby had the El Gran Papi Combo. I am sure the Texas Burrito would have tasted really good with the BBQ sauce and the other spicy items in it. There is a lot of food, and I had to get to go boxes.

Food was really good. Hot, fresh, crisp chips & tacos. But the service left a lot to be desired. Lots of drinks unfilled. Had to flag down another waitress for chips. Waited on limes that the manager forgot. It just seemed very disorganized, and it wasn't busy at all. I'll go back, but I'll budget extra time for the waiting.

This is one of my husband's favorite restaurants. Everything we got to eat was really good! This location looked like it might be new? Everything was super clean. Our waiter was nice, but never asked if we wanted or needed refills. We didn't really get a chance to ask for one either. Other than that it was a good experience.

I love “On The Border” ! BUT, I’ve been to the Conway, Ar. restaurant about 6 times. As a whole, only 2 of those visits were acceptable to me. I’ve had a server actually argue with me after bringing me the wrong order, ( my wife was there also ) Once the “same” server got my order wrong and THEN , forgot to bring a second tea that I requested. The other day we showed up at 11:00am ( opening ) . We were first in the door. I asked to sit on the opposite side of the restaurant, and the person seating me would not seat me where I asked for. She told me she could seat me there where she wanted. And, I sat down about 10 minutes and then got up and left. Why not, we hadn’t seen our server yet. I eat at another location at the same time every time and they ALWAYS seat me where I request to be seated. And by the way, I am 71 years old and eat out a lot. And I never have been told I couldn’t set at the table I want, never. If I come to eat at their establishment I am going to sit where I want. I pay for my meal and service !

Ugh. This is going to be a long one. My family visits this restaurant at least twice a month, if not more. They always say how good it is and I eventually came with them to try it. Looking at the menu, it looked more like a bar than a restaurant. Way more alcohol options than food. The second thing I noticed was the prices. Holy cow, the food prices were insane, and I frequently eat at restaurants so I know prices have gone up but this seemed crazy. The salsa came in our own little bowls, no option to pour our own and the amount was tiny. I LOVE salsa, I need a lot. However, after tasting it I was fine with the tiny amount. It was WAY too hot. Like a ridiculous amount of spice for salsa. I ordered some enchiladas, they were the only good thing. The sweet tea tasted awful. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Portion sizes for to-go are absolutely absurd. We have eaten there in person and our to-go was about a third of what it should be.They also screwed up half of our order and proceeded to argue about it. The middle aged sassy bearded guy was especially rude. We tipped ahead when placing the order and I wish I could take back the money.

Soooo I went to ON The border two weeks ago and felt such disappointment. My daughter wanted to go before her musical at the school. We arrived around 4pm with less than 15 people in the restaurant including staff we were given a table within seconds in the bar area. Two minutes after a group of three white ladies were sat behind my girls and I. I noticed the bartender get chips and salsa and greet the white women first and totally ignored my children and I. Long story short the bartender never greeted us or even smiled our direction. She gave the table away to another server!!!! When I asked her why she didn’t want to serve my black children but had no problem greeting and attending to the white women who came AFTER us. She first asked what I was trying to imply, then said she was too busy to take us, yet had no problem attending to the ladies who were sat after us. I told the manager and of course my meal was comped because as I said the restaurant was EMPTY! I also called the GM the next day and she offer me to mail me some coupons which I still haven’t got. I just want others to be aware of this bartender and how she made my children and I feel less then. I did ask the server we did have to at least ring me up a drink so I could tip him.

Super slow service. I ordered takeout, was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Arrived about 20 minutes later and waited for 8 minutes to even be acknowledged, I was then told by the bartender that she would send someone over. The hostess ignored her, eventually 2 minutes later someone came from the kitchen. She didn't apologize, took my payment, and then had the nerve to tell me it would be a few more minutes. 5 minutes later I received my takeout food, so basically I might have well just ordered when I arrived for all the time it saved. Also, the place was a mess! Will take my business where it is appreciated in the future, I prefer Chuy's anyways! Don't waste your money. Also, I ordered the ultimate fajitas, which I've had in the restaurant. I swear I only got about 2/3 of the regular portion and they forgot my butter for the shrimp.
