I’ve been ordering the exact same dish for a year now, and it’s officially my all-time favorite here. The Spicy Basil Leaves (Thai Hot) is the masterpiece, especially with that extra side of chili oil and an extra jasmine rice to soak up every bit of heat. The consistency is incredible; the flavors are today as they were on day one. I have no doubt the rest of the menu is just as addictive. I’m finally planning to branch out next time and try the Cashew Chicken. Stay tuned for the update!
I may be biased because I love curry, but the food is excellent. The service is outstanding! They don't mess around. They bring you a bowl of soup right away. Then your appetizer soon after. I have been there twice now, and both times it was busy for lunch, but the fast service is just part of their game no matter how busy. I will be back again and again.
The best in town around North Irving and Coppell! I’ve ordered the drunken noodles, Pad See Ew, and yellow curry many times, and they consistently hit the mark. The restaurant is managed and served by an all-Thai team, which adds to its authentic experience and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Flavor-Packed Thai Food & Amazing Value! Yummy Thai lives up to its name and then some! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The dishes are packed with exotic flavors in every bite, whether you go for the spicy noodles, creamy curry, or stir-fries full of fresh veggies and tender meat. The menu is extensive, offering something for everyone — and the portions are super generous for the price. You really get a bang for your buck without compromising on quality or taste. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food in the Coppell area, Yummy Thai should be at the top of your list!
We ordered takeout from this Thai place and got the Tom Yum Soup and Pineapple Tofu Fried Rice (without eggs). We had a few customizations, and they were very accommodating, which we appreciated. The Tom Yum Soup was delicious and just the right level of mild spice, exactly how we asked. The Pineapple Tofu Fried Rice was average—I’ve had better. There wasn’t much pineapple in it, but the tofu was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Overall, a decent experience, and I’d still recommend giving it a try, especially for the soup and tofu dishes.
Alright, so this place was just an unexpected hidden gem that we stumbled across and i loved everything here! First of all, the people are so nice! they are always smiling and helpful. And now the food - everything we tried were perfect! We started with the Vietnamese Spring Rolls which were really delicious. The peanut sauce was sooooo good! Then we moved to Seafood In Coconut Shell which was magnificent! All the seafood was cooked to perfection and then the sauce was perfection - add that everything is cooked in a coconut which i loved. Finally, the dessert was Black Rice With Mango and man that was the perfect way to end the meal. It was perfectly balanced and sweet. Just the perfect way to balance out the curry! Will definitely be back here whenever i visit again!
The best Thai food in Texas. Good customer service, and the food was hot and delicious. I had the spring rolls, stir-fried mixed vegetables with chicken. To complement my meal, I added a side order of fried rice with shrimp. The restaurant is very laid-back, more so for casual dining. They give you large portions of food and drinks, so you will bring some food home.
Went over with colleagues for lunch. They do not take reservations for lunch so had to wait a while to get seated as it was completely packed. Once seated we were served with complimentary veg Tom yum soup. All of us had lunch specials and it was pretty good. The veggie springs rolls were quite good. My fav from Thai place would be the papaya salad, chicken wings and the Thai fried rice. The service staff were really nice and we were in and out in an hour.
Good service, nice environment. The food was solid but unspectacular. We had the crispy pork belly, fried tofu, green curry fried rice with tofu, orange chicken, crab fried rice, and plain chicken soup. The appetizers were both tasty, though the pork belly was perhaps a touch dry. The crab wasn't very noticeable in the fried rice. The orange chicken was well sauced but a bit soggy. The green chicken curry was flavored well, though I might have wished it tasted more of curry. The tofu was very well cooked.
My wife and I had a 12-hour layover in Dallas and stayed at the candlewood Hotel. We were hungry and had just gotten back from a Costa Rican trip. We decided we wanted some Asian food. Phó it is. We landed at 7 pm and got to our hotel at 7:50 pm. Picked this restaurant because they were open until 10 pm so we could sit down and enjoy our meal. First things first, we ordered apps. Deep fried tofu and deep-fried pork belly. Main course we're chicken pad thai, beef phó, and chicken basil fried rice. The deep-fried tofu was breaded so the tofu was ok but the dipping sauce was good . Pork belly was bland no seasoning but good with the tofu dipping sauce. Chicken pad Thai was ok. The sauce they used was on the sweeter side. Phó was bland. Can't smell the star anise or the cloves. Chicken Thai basil fried rice was also bland, greasy, and had bell peppers in it. Nothing wrong with bell peppers but it just surprised me. Over food was a 3/5. Service was good. Cozy little place.
The WORST SERVICE IN COPPELL. The lady at the front is extremely rude. I made an order for lunch to go and when I got to work I realized this is not what I ordered. I called and she hung up on me three times. I decided to come after work and showed her I did not eat the food. I asked for the order to be exchanged or a full refund. Which she denied both. Literally hungry all day because of this. This is my FIRST time here and my LAST time here. My hard earned $25 in the garbage. Garbage business with garbage people.
It was my first time in. The staff was rude. One was behind the counter eating, so the other turned around and asked me for the “name on the order”. No greeting, no knowledge that I didn’t want to dine in. Minimal customer service goes a long way. She did not turn the experience around after I greeted her, no thank you or goodbye. I knew then that I wouldn’t be back. I was indeed there for a pickup order. When I got home and tried my food, both were bland so it made my decision to not return so much easier. There was no flavor in either of them. The drunken noodle had a hint of a tangy taste to it, which was not pleasant and that was it. This place needs to retrain on both customer service and culinary skills. Location appeared to be new and clean.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT… THEY HAVE DEAD COCKROACHES IN THEIR FOOD. They DO NOT have cleanliness.. They DO NOT follow any health regulations. I have ordered pad thai yesterday and i found a dead Cockroach in the food. When reach out to the restaurant all they said was sorry. The lady on the phone is unable to reply properly to me and manager was not available to talk and i did not even got any refund.
