It's the best place to live near UM. It's quiet. Everything is close to supermarkets, parks, and the train. It's a quiet and safe area. Ample parking. New elevators. A well-maintained pool and jacuzzi. UM families and students live here. Recommended 10/10

I have lived here as a UM student for about 6 months now without complaint. The complex manager Arthur is perfectly attentive and friendly; the same can be said for the rest of the staff. I am looking forward to living here for years to come.

Building management, maintenance and security team are all kind and supportive. I always felt at home while in the complex. The gentleman who works maintenance during the work week greeted me with a smile, wave and a “good morning” daily. The building manager did the same and made a point to remember my name. It’s these small warm gestures that make an apartment building feel like home. The building is in a great location (a little loud on the us 1 side) and is well maintained and secure.

University inn is right cross the street from UM. I always recommend this building to UM students. The administrative team is great, especially Arthur who works in the association office, he is very kind, very professional and always helpful! I recommend this place.

I would not recommend renting from Mr Taracido, as the apartment is badly maintained. AC is old and plumbing is bad. Also he will not give you the whole of your deposit back. I am a professional and have dealt with many landlords in my time. I was very disappointed and frankly disgusted by his refusal to pay back all of the deposit, so be warned. You will also be required to pay half of any work that needs doing. For me it was the AC cleaning, which I was informed by the AC repair man hadn't been cleaned in over a year and I had just moved in!!!! Terrible upkeep.. Do not rent from him!

Warning! If you are interested in dating, do not live here. I had my partner over maybe four or five times a month. I WAS REPRIMANDED by the staff and told that if my partner continued to VISIT my lease would not be renewed. Absurd. I found out that the security had been monitoring/spying on my partner coming/going—and even though I was certainly not breaking my lease agreement, they really just wanted to jam me up. I would not live here again. This is a VERY expensive condominium and the elevators don't work, they treat the tenants terribly, AND even though I left a spotless apartment, the landlord kept my full deposit. I had a really miserable time here and ended up feeling like I needed to sneak around my own home that I was paying $1,800 a month for! Warning! Do not live here. There are SO MANY other, much better, options.
