We couldn't have picked a better place for our anniversary celebration. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the thoughtful attention to detail in the atmosphere. We loved the way they intertwined the pharmacy’s history with a modern Italian touch. The authentic and delicious food was a highlight, but what truly set the night apart was the extraordinary service. Our server was absolutely phenomenal; her attentiveness and kindness made our special night the best it could possibly be.
This was our second visit to Cornelia’s “Farmacia Trattoria” - both have been exquisite meals served in an authentic design reminiscent of the quaint “Villa San Michelle” on a hilltop, overlooking Florence, Italy - down in the Valley below. In fact, if you get a peak at the secret member’s only wine cellar, located in the former Arnold’s Drug Store basement- go, go, go! We enjoyed lasagna on our first visit with Italian bread that was superb along with a tasty Pea Salad. The lasagna was so good, so authentic-I wanted another serving - as if I were a guest in a friend’s Tuscany kitchen. Maybe the Chef could add a large size to the menu? Our second visit last night was for hand tossed, wood-fired pizza -Sweet Sausage - served with beet salad. We were surprised when wait-staff Meg, brought us a second one - no charge! We’ll enjoy it tonight and pretend we are dining in the former Arnold’s Drug Store Basement the Member’s Club wine cellar, liquor shelves and device for adding “smokey” taste to the exquisite wine (see photos). Following Community Brew & Tap, and Fenders - maybe the next epicurean adventure in downtown Cornelia will be an authentic Spanish fare with giant family style bowls of bubbling Paella and pitchers of fruit filled Sangria. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 RDS
We had an excellent girls luncheon including wagyu carpaccio salad, wild mushroom truffle pizza and Philly steak cheese pizza and the Burrata salad. Everything was delicious and the service exceptional. They catered to my gluten free needs, as well. They were very helpful. I will definitely be back!
My husband and I had the best experience here! Overall 5 stars. My husband had a pizza and I had fettuccine Alfredo, both were perfect. To end the night we had two excellent lattes. The interior was gorgeous and the service was warming and personal. I would recommend to anyone.
Such a great experience! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary! The wine was amazing. The pizza with the fermented dough was absolutely delicious. The chocolate tart was outstanding! The meatballs and the bread appetizer we could not stop talking about it and the personalized card we were gifted was just a cherry on top of a beautiful memorable evening. Thank you so much for the kindness and the amazing service from everyone, including our server with the purple earrings! She was very informative & so kind!
Beautiful restoration for an amazing old pharmacy- original beauty preserved and the servers were amazing starting the history and photos with us. Pizza is a must 🍕 Cesar salad 🥗 delish and fab cocktails 🍹 menu
Last night was our first visit to Farmacia. The wait staff was phenomenal. McKenzye was our waitress and was extremely friendly, helpful, and very polite and kind. Wagyu carpaccio was absolutely delicious. We then had the Bucatini which was exquisite, however portions were very small. We ordered a Margherita pizza because we like to try the more basic pizza before trying more loaded pizzas in an attempt to decide if we like the crust, sauce, and cheese. It was fantastic. The crust is probably the best pizza crust I have had in a very long time. We enjoyed the rack of lamb with balsamic glaze, which had a great balance of flavors and was not overly seasoned nor bland. Great meal. My only complaint was the Tiramisu which seemed to have coffee beans or coffee grounds in it to give it more coffee flavor. The texture was off-putting. Also, although the restaurant was maybe 25 percent full, we were sat next to another table with a shared booth. The tables were approximately 18 inches apart. I personally loved our dining experience and we will be back to try more things, but for the prices I do wish the portions would have been larger. Actually, I'd prefer the prices would be less with the same portions so that I could order more plates to try. Definitely worth trying out. Fine dining for sure.
Tonight my best friend and I drove an hour from each of our locations to meet at this fantastic restaurant! You have to make yourselves a reservation for this fine Italian cuisine in the foothills of NE GA. Our server, Mary Lee was so awesome, knowledgeable of the menu, delightful in her presentation of the specials and her perfect courteous service was highly commendable! Everything we had from the wagyu ravioli, veal meatballs, fried asparagus, wood fired lasagna was outstanding! We shared it all as well as a delicious hunk of tiramisu!! Cannot rave enough about our whole experience! We will be making this place "our meeting spot"!
Absolutely incredible experience at Farmacia in Cornelia. This was hands down one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Every dish was intentional, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The chicken liver foie gras paired with rhubarb jam and port wine onions was a standout — rich, balanced, and completely unforgettable. Even the dessert managed to be light yet deeply satisfying — the perfect ending to a truly memorable meal. From start to finish, everything felt thoughtful and well-crafted. Farmacia is a hidden gem in North Georgia — farm-fresh ingredients, high-end quality, and warm hospitality all in one. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both comfort and refinement so effortlessly. We had an amazing evening with great friends, and we’ll absolutely be back. 12/10 — highly recommend!
Delicious food, excellent service from our waiter, Elijah. Fun history of the building reflected from when it was a pharmacy. Excellent pastas and pizza dough with flour imported from Italy. Healthy and flavorful. We will be back.
We were promptly greeted as we entered the restaurant and offered a complimentary glass of wine. The beautifully designed open kitchen and tasteful dining room decor made for a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere. As our meal began my taste buds said, WOW! The flavors, taste and presentation are all top notch. The first thing my wife and I spoke about this morning was how wonderful last night’s meal was. We’ve dined at Michelin star restaurants that unfortunately did not compare to this meal. Our meal was deliciously memorable, a key to success. I am only disappointed in myself for not taking pictures of our meal. We’re going back in two weeks so I’ll update my review then. Thank you Chef Vullo and your staff for that incredible meal. I wish you all the best. Update: Four weeks later and we are back. This time we experienced consistency. The meal was consistent in its excellence. The service was consistent with its excellence. And the flavors, omg! Do yourself a favor and go experience this restaurant. I wish we lived closer but it’s well worth the hour drive we make. Sorry for not taking photos of our meal when it was first served. We were too excited to dig in.
My husband and I came for Valentine’s Day and oh my goodness. Food and service were incredible especially on a night so busy. Cannot believe a restaurant of this caliber is so close to home. Will be back frequently.
I had high hopes coming in but they far exceeded all my expectations. The best meal i have had in forever. It started with some amazing bread and the best imported olive oil i have ever had. The sausage pasta and wagu ravioli was exceptional. And we had the pizza which might be the best pizza i have ever had. So different than ever other pizza. Incredible Italian wine. Finished dinner with their special drink which i am going to Total Wine tomorrow to get the ingredients. Cherry Amaretto and Six and Twenty. Besides exceptional food, the staff was top notch. Even the chef came out and said hello. I’d give this place 10 stars if i could. Never been there before and don’t know them so don’t think I’m the owner’s best friend. It was spectacular
We had the pleasure of experiencing night two of FaramciaTrottoria's soft opening in Downtown Cornelia. The transformation from Arnold’s Drug Store to an elegant Italian escape is remarkable, with an ambiance that perfectly complements the authentic ingredients and attentive service. Our group enjoyed a variety of dishes, including Crispy Artichokes, Freshly Baked Focaccia Bread, and a refreshing Caesar Salad. The D.o.P. Margherita and Pizza Bianco were flavorful highlights, while the Truffle Wagyu Beef Ravioli and Hand Rolled Cecamariti Cacio e Pepe showcased the kitchen’s mastery. We ended the evening with exquisite Tiramisu and a rich Chocolate Tart, capping off a memorable dining experience in this beautifully transformed space.
It’s a beautiful restaurant that is just cozy enough but not overly formal. My husband and I went on a date here and it was lovely.
I must tell you about a new Italian restaurant in Cornelia called Farmacia Trattoria it was Sooooo good! This new addition to the community is the brainchild of same people who gave you Community Brew & Tap (CB&T)….Cornelia’s Old “Bank and Trust”. Everyone loves CB&T as its “Top of the class” attitude sets it apart as the areas special occasion place to eat. And so, they’ve done it again!!! Just a couple of doors down from CB&T is Farmacia Trattoria!! We booked a New Years Eve dinner reservation (recommended) and arrived on-time and was seated ever though the place was packed. What a cool place!!! Now they’ve taken over the Old Full Stocked Pharmacy! We’re talking about 75-year-old medicines all on display and woven into the layout of the restaurant. 100” HD Picture-like displays cover the walls and rotate between some of the different medicine’s left behind. Man, I never realize how many old medicines made back then could kill you, but they have the proof. 😊 And at the back of the restaurant is the Kitchen featuring the two giant Pizza Ovens. Very impressive. We started with the Crispy Artichokes as an Antipasti. WOW, this dish was off the chain. This dish takes artichokes were artichokes have never been. The taste, nothing at all you would expect from an artichoke appetizer. We love things crispy and this rich dish is a winner. I also got a Caeser salad and you usually have to ask for anchovies (typically only in nice restaurants offer them) but at Farmacia it’s the Standard. I love a good Caeser salad. For dinner we had the Wagyuy Beef Ravioli and the Duck Rolatello. I can’t even begin to describe the flavors and richness of these authentic artisan Italian dishes taken to a new level. As expected, we couldn’t finish our dinners but saved room for dessert. We ordered the Tiramisu. Again WoW! Soooo good. The best I’ve ever had. The crushed salt on the top was the Kicker (see pic)! Awesome job y'all. Fallon (our waitress) did an awesome job as well as others that all seem to pitch in to make the experience pleasurable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very positive as the GM Alison seems to run a tight ship. She used to wait at CB&T and was their best server. She seemed to know most of the guesses and explains why the place is so happy. And my compliments to the Chief. Chief Jon’s scratch kitchen really sets themselves apart with the small touches and nuances each dish carries. Our service was spot for such a busy night. And if you get a chance, ask Fallon who her famous grandfather is! You can see it if you look hard. Can’t wait to come back and try the Pizza!!!
Just went for the first time, and left excited to come back to try some more items on the menu. My fiancé and I had the wagyu appetizer, rack of lamb, the whole roasted fish, the great wines our awesome waitress recommended, and the tiramisu. I can’t remember the actual names of the dishes. The flavor in everything were incredible though! Everything looked and tastes so fresh. I saw some reviews saying the portions were on the smaller side but my fiancé and I both left ready to go into a food coma. The food and the people are really incredible. I can’t wait to go back.
Excellent experience- wonderful hand made food with care lovely staff very nice atmosphere- you will not go wrong and try the Tiramisu
We are not locals but were lucky enough to be in town for the night. Elijah was an amazing waiter and the food was fabulous. Wood fire pizza pick our own toppings, true Cesar salad and great tiramisu for desert. we will be back!
Oh my stars this place is amazing! One of the best dates we’ve had! The food was exceptional and fresh (best veal we’ve ever had), the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff went above and beyond to make our date special and accommodate dietary needs due to pregnancy. We didn’t feel rushed, and multiple servers, the hostess, and the chefs even asked about our experience which made us feel appreciated as guests. Thanks Abbie for being our server! We can’t wait to come back soon!
Farmacia Trattoria is outstanding! The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, and the desserts were absolutely amazing. Every dish felt so thoughtfully prepared. The staff was top notch—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Truly excellent service paired with excellent food. I can’t wait to go back!
The Veal meatball appetizer is completely outrageously wonderful. The meld of the flavors is extraordinary. Service is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone desiring a wonderful Italian experience.
My family and I went here for my 30th birthday. The staff and food were both absolutely amazing. Our waiter, Ryan, was truly fantastic. He was so charming and an absolute delight!! The food alone and the ambiance is why you should come here but the staff truly went above and beyond for this dinner. Thank you so much and we will 100% be coming back!
So much more upscale than I imagined! The ravioli was amazing and my husband had the shrimp and pork ragu. Our server was Emma, who was super kind and introduced us to the menu. The dessert menu was crazy and their teas are mind blowing. Had a fantastic upscale dining experience with amazing food!
Great atmosphere. Fabulous service and food. Our waitress Meg was wonderful sweet and helpful. She made great recommendations. The whole experience made for a wonderful evening.
Just finished the most fabulous lunch here! The roasted beet salad was so wonderful! The mushroom and truffle pizza so delicious. Also, don’t leave without trying the luscious Myer lemon gelato. Maybe share with those you bring with you! The decor is awesome! That pizza oven from Italy, the chandeliers and pendant lights show the special attention that goes was given to the decor, while honoring the pharmacy it was originally! Emma, our waitress took such good care of us! She was amazing! Chef John and his staff are focused on proving a memorable meal for all those entering those doors! It was as if we stepped into another world, where ingredients are special and fresh! We have eaten all over the world! This lunch will stay in our memory forever! Thank you Ginger and Joe for having us join you for lunch! We will definitely be back!
We love coming in here for lunch! The food and atmosphere is always amazing! Emma our server is extremely friendly and made sure we had a great experience! Highly recommend!
So me, my wife, and 5 year old daughter came here on a Tuesday night. We were worried that it was too close to closing time for staff to feel comfortable to serve us but they completely made us feel welcome from the start. It gets better lol. We moved up here from Florida about a year and a half ago and have had trouble finding good food. Well that discussion came to a close that Tuesday night. We started with the artichokes and veal and meatball appetizers. Artichokes were cooked perfect and very fancy. Those meatballs with all the cheese? To die for. The pizza, amazing. The pasta dish(Lamache or something like that) was so rich with flavor and made you realize that we werent just at some regular italian restaurant. And then there were the scallops. Best we’ve ever had hands down. And we’ve been at some pretty nice places throughout Florida. We did have to leave early and take our food to go which i hated doing but we were so full i and it was way past closing time by then but never was it an issue with staff. They completely were happy to have us. A place where you would say, “it was made with love,” kind of meal.
Where do I begin?!? The venue is casual upscale, if that's a thing. Beautiful chandeliers and hanging pendants throughout. Then, the dining room looks right into the kitchen, which is fun. The money shot is the two giant, beautiful, colorful pizza ovens....mesmerizing. And the medicine bottles and framed rotating pictures were a great vibe! Next amazing part was the service! Warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable!!!! I don't see this enough. Emma was a gem! Please ask for her!!! If she is not available, Fallon is a can't miss too. All this and I haven't mentioned the food. Our table had beet salads and Caesar salads. The Caesar was very different and that it wasn't Romaine lettuce. They use whatever is fresh locally. Lettuce was beautiful and the croutons were finally ground with an interesting texture. One of our friends had a special of cannelloni which was to die for. The rest of our table ordered pizzas, which were some of the best pizzas I've ever had. I personally had the sausage and fennel and recommended highly. We drove 50 minutes and it was so worth it. Will be back again soon!!! UPDATE: Back for the third time in three weeks! Thank you Emma!
Chose this little spot for my 35th!!! The atmosphere was amazing!!!! Definitely doesn't feel like a small town... Loved loved the little place!! And the open kitchen concept amazing!! Thank you for a wonderful birthday 🎂
After a celebration event at Piedmont University, our family wanted a nice place for dinner. A search pointed us to Farmacia Trattoria, and we reserved a spot with OpenTable. We were rewarded with excellent results! Our server, Fallin, made us feel most welcome. She suggested some options based on the day’s specials. The Artisan Bread was a tasty starter. Most of us enjoyed different pizzas so we were able to experience a variety of flavors. I can’t remember the name of the pineapple one, but it was a special treat! The Caesar Salad was a meal in itself. Fallin carefully boxed what we couldn’t finish for lunch the next day. The atmosphere was unique and frankly unexpected. The warm, relaxed atmosphere of the old pharmacy was embellished by a lovely but unobtrusive soundtrack. We were able to enjoy both our food and the conversation in the group. I look forward to returning and saving room to try a dessert.
Amazing experience! My wife and I went here for our 40th anniversary and couldn't be happier we did!! Emma was a great server, she explained the menu and the history of the building. We split a Caesar salad, Eggplant Parmesan, and a build your own 12" pizza. Salad was fresh, perfect amount of dressing and delicious! Eggplant Parmesan was also extremely fresh and tasted so unique like nothing we ever had it was fantastic! The pizza was a thin crust and super CHRISPY, toppings were and sauce were the perfect amount and very tasty! Noticed no salt and pepper on the tables and you shouldn't need those if you have good chefs in the kitchen and they must as there was no need to use it! So 2 glasses of wine, a salad, one entree , one pizza and a tiramisu to top this perfect meal was under $100! At today's prices that we feel was a bargain. Food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic and we will definitely return and recommend!
We went to Farmacia Trattoria to celebrate our one year anniversary. Emma was out waitress and had great recommendations for appetizers and meals while sharing some history of the building. We started with the bianca pizza and it was some of the best pizza I have ever had. Both of our meals were delicious and the sauce on my scallop scampi was fantastic. To wrap up our meal we were given a desert to celebrate our anniversary. Along with the desert we received a hand written card from the staff signed by everyone. It was a very nice gesture and definitely a story we will tell for years to come.
Delicious, I had the pizza for which they are known. The crispy artichoke was a real treat (less salt would be better). Our other dish was the eggplant parm. Also very good. It’s just that are known for their sourdough crust pizza and that is a well deserved reputation
One of my favorite restaurants on the planet. All dishes I’ve tried were outstanding. Decor (especially wood burning ovens) is comfortable and inviting. Fallon is the best server I’ve ever had. An awesome experience, all the way around.
Incredible food and service. Well worth my 40-min drive. We had the bread and artichokes appetizer - excellent. Then I had the special pasta. Our friends had pizza. I can't wait to go back to try the pizza.
I had a wonderful experience eating at this restaurant last night. The food was delicious & thoughtfully prepared with the freshest of ingredients. Our waiter was gracious, attentive, and highly invested in helping us not to simply have a meal but a delightful & memorable experience. The prices were reasonable for the high quality of the food. I will encourage my friends, family, & my colleagues at the college where I teach to visit your restaurant! Many blessings!
Our party of 4 had a wonderful dinner at Farmacia. We were celebrating a birthday and went specifically for the Wednesday night spaghetti dinner special. We were not aware the special had been discontinued, and without missing a beat the restaurant staff recreated it for us, actually making it better than the original. Not only that, they made it fun. It was an overall great dining experience made possible by Elijah, our waiter, and multiple other staff members whose names I failed to collect. Thanks to all players for a fun evening and delicious food!
So many great things to say about the restaurant and our experience while there! Abby was our server, and she was great. She gave us a brief history of the building and how the design incorporated the former drug store that was there for years. We had the pomegranate prosciutto salad and Calabrese pizza for lunch that my husband and I split. It was all delicious! The roasted garlic and Calabrian chilis on the pizza were so good🤩. Cocktail menu was good and I had the strawberry spritzer. Cannot wait to come back again! It was a great experience. The service, atmosphere and food made a great impression.
Not the same thing as it was. The vibe is been bought out. Meatballs were cold and food was good but not fantastic. It's fine but not what it was. It used to be even better than the steakhouse next door.
Food and service was ok, not as excellent as last visit. Limited cocktail selection and very few wines by the glass. Pizza was ok but not a great value for the size and small volume of toppings.
Heard good things and the reviews were good so we tried it. The menu is limited but that often means they take more care. Started with the artichoke appetizer, they are small artichokes that are fully edible except for the stems, it was interesting. The Cesar salad was nothing to rave about, bland. We had the Sausage and Fennel pizza it had far too much olive oil on it, to the point of being soggy and almost too oily to eat. Our server was great though. So lunch all in with two glasses of wine was 113.00 with a 25.00 tip. It was not a good value and probably would not come again.
What is happening Farmacia? You have been our go-to for date nights, birthdays etc. so naturally we chose to dine with you for Valentine's Day. Since you have opened we have RAVED to everyone we know about the food and experience that Farmacia offered. Heck, we drive all the way from Jefferson just to dine with you! Unfortunately after tonight I'm not sure we will be back. We arrived for our reservation and were seated fairly quickly. Our server, Camile, was outstanding. I can't say enough good things about her. Unbeknownst to us there was a limited menu. Not one of our favorites were available. No fried artichokes, no wagyu beef ravioli or build your own pizza. We inquired about some of these items and were told that the menu changes frequently. This was the third time I am aware of since you opened a year and a half ago. I get making seasonal changes but overhauling the entire menu and removing customer favorites is the wrong move in my opinion. The pizza crust was not up to normal standards either. It lacked the light and airy crunch it has always had in the past. It was still okay but not worth driving almost and hour for. We also failed to understand why the TV's now stream random footage from other restaurant kitchens. What happened to the loop of pharmaceuticals that were found during renovation of the building. It added to the character of the space. If we are going to drive that far and spend that kind of money we expect the same great experience every time. Tonight was a miss. After reading the most recent posts from the last couple of weeks it doesn't sound like we are the only ones. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
This is the first time I have gone and been utterly disappointed in the food. My wife and I made reservations for Valentines about a month ago knowing that the food and service would be phenomenal. We made reservations on OpenTable for 6pm. Upon our arrival we were promptly sat at a small cozy table near back of restaurant. We ordered mineral water but were told they were out. At this time we noticed the menu had completely changed and was offering a lot of “Italian Fusion” options. Tried to order two different Chianti Classico bottles of wine and were told they were out of those too. The wine list was very short. We opted to start our meal with just water and meatballs for the appetizer. The meatballs were very good and presented well. For our meal we decided to split a pizza and chose the Cornelia Country Club. We have been before and we’re looking for the Wagyu Ravioli, & Rack of Lamb but these options were not available. The chicken on the pizza was very dry and tasted bland like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all afternoon. Needless to say we didn’t finish our pizza, and left very disappointed. We came ready to spend money and enjoy good food and wine and left with only spending $43. I hope this isn’t a permanent change. Camille our server did a phenomenal job with us. She apologized multiple times for the items they were out of. No complaints on her at all.
The food has changed in the last several months, and there were YouTube videos playing on the screens... of other restaurants cooking.🤷🏻 The bread and creamy ricotta was delicious, but almost every meal on the menu had a spicy ingredient, and the lasagna was covered in pepper flakes. My husband can't eat spicy, therefore he couldn't eat his dinner. The majority of the dining room was empty, but we were seated immediately next to another table. We were there for our anniversary dinner... very disappointing.
We had high expectations from recommendations from friends. Most of the dishes we ordered were wonderful, attentive service, beautiful decor! However, on a Saturday night with the restaurant 1/2 full by 6:30pm, they were out of the wine I preferred, out of mushrooms, out of pizza dough… then when they delivered my favorite dish Cacio e Pepe from our trip to Italy, it was very disappointing. Not the correct pasta, too much olive oil in the sauce instead of cheese, and almost full size peppercorns. They were very apologetic, saying their head chef was out on leave. They offered a free dessert which was nice, but will go elsewhere next time.
Went for my mom's birthday dinner as she raved about this place before. However when we went she noticed the menu was completely different than the last time she went. Drinks- they only have pop or water. Odd that they don't offer a juice or lemonade for kids or those that can't have pop and want something other than just water. Appetizer- bread and ricotta. This was decent. The ricotta tasted like more of a garlic butter than ricotta tho. Custom pasta- very very minimal selection of classic pasta dishes so I had to do a custom dish. I chose bowtie pesto with chicken and sundried tomatoes. The bowties were a bit over cooked. The sauce was horrible it was basically just basil water. No salt no garlic no pine nut no cheese taste whatsoever. Only gave me one piece of chicken literally one little cut slice of chicken size of a finger. I asked for cheese since the dish had zero flavor and they brought out a small dish of one scoop of Parm. So I had to keep asking for my tiny little plates of parm just to eat my pasta. My mom said they used to grate it at the table like every other Italian restaurant but not anymore I guess. Lasagna - sausage was good but there was no ricotta cheese or similar layered filling. Basically just noodles and sausage. How do you have a lasagna with ought cheese layering? They did have some melted cheese on top. Sauced lacked seasoning as well . Chicken Parm - one of the better dishes but pretty bland in both the spaghetti and the chicken. Tiramisu- bunch of salt was added on top which we weren't used to. Barely any ladyfingers. Also bland. Glad I didn't try the pizza if they couldn't get pasta right. Videos on the TV screens were just a random Italian restaurant cooking pizzas. No discount on bday dessert. Overpriced meal for the quality of food. Needs to go back to how it was when they had 5 star reviews.
Came in Friday night. They’re short staffed. Waited 10 min before we were even greeted. A group before us said they also had to wait. We finally got seated, no drink order was taken. One of the waitresses gave us water though. After our order was taken, 30 min later the waitress said she was sorry and we realized ,as did she, that the order was never put in. 20 minutes later 2 of us got our pizza but my daughters pasta dish still had not come out. It got there 10 min later. The scallops on it were good but the pasta had no flavor. Needed salt. The pizza had very little cheese. Not worth the price. Buyer beware! The waitress did remove the pasta from the bill, thankfully
We have enjoyed everything about dining here in the past. It Was one of our favorite destinations. From the Staff, the Video’s of the vintage pharmacy, to the great food and the Wine selection. However, our last visit was a disappointment. The complete feeling of the restaurant has changed. No manager/host, almost complete new staff, new head chef. Food that we enjoyed in the past was not the same. The glass Wine selections were minimal. I can’t say I can recommend it as I had in the past. It Was Great!
We went to this restaurant with hopes and dreams of finding an Italian restaurant close to home that actually prepared authentic Italian food. Let me save you $150. The service was adequate the atmosphere was amazingly nice. However, the food sucked. We ordered the artesian bread to start with. It’s not artesian bread it’s pizza dough baked in the oven with a few herbs scattered on top of it this is not artesian bread. I ordered a pepperoni pizza which arrived about 10 minutes before the other dishes the pizza was undercooked. My wife ordered the pesto pasta, And it arrived overcooked in a bath of green water. Now we have traveled extensively in the United States, and in Italy and Europe, and have never witnessed pesto pasta, sitting in a bed of water. So even with that disappointment, we ordered some tiramisu, hoping and praying that that would at least offer some salvation to the dinner. Nope, that was perhaps the worst part of dinner because someone decided to get cute and sprinkle salt on top of the tiramisu. There must be 10,000 Italian grandmothers rolling over in their grave for such a heresy. Not just a little but enough to make your mouth taste the salt and say this tiramisu doesn’t have any sweetness it’s salty. I don’t write bad reviews lightly, they are earned, and the food produced out of that kitchen is a travesty. I could only assume the people that are giving this place a high review are the same people that think the Olive Garden is good Italian.
