We discovered this gem thru Groupon and couldn't be happier!! I entered and was immediately greeted by the owner, Faith, and the manager, Sarah. We instantly bonded over a common life challenge. They were both very compassionate and we ended up hugging like family. My husband and I were seated at the Chef's table and proceeded to thoroughly enjoy one of the best meals we've had in a very long time. The service was impeccable, with precisely timed courses served piping hot. It's a true dining experience. Dress up and bring your Love to this fine dining room. The chef is Faith's husband and they are both very kind. We bought a DATE NIGHT as a gift for our son so he can treat his Love to this cozy spot.

We went in for a nice little anniversary dinner, and let me say they were above and beyond what we expected. They decorated our table for our anniversary. Our server was Sky, and she is fantastic. She also designs cupcakes and drinks for them and their new location. YES I said a new location in Huntersville. If you haven't... you must !!!! What a Gem oh and the food goes without saying. It was amazing and my wife is a picky eater and the chef took great care of her. We will 159 % be back

Great service on the phone and in person. I had an issue with my Mango rice once and I called and they were happy to replace. The same person who seats you may be the same person who takes your order, answer the phone, and complete take out! Very busy but never too busy to tend to their customers! Try their cucumber salad, wide rice noodles, mango sticky rice, and thia tea! 5 stars!

The staff was incredibly attentive and supportive, making sure every detail was just right. The servers were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our family had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The owner was so hospitable and truly made the evening special. She helped us with decorations, took the time to come in and greet everyone personally, and made us feel so welcome. The chef even came out to speak with us, which added such a personal touch. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the spirit of the restaurant was filled with joy and celebration. My entire family had an amazing time, and we will always treasure this memorable evening. The red carpet at the entrance to Choplin’s is telling. Chef Wes, his wife Faith and their team treat their customers right! The restaurant is elegant and welcoming, and the food is out of this world delicious. We loved the salmon and snapper entrees, and the warm bread with honey butter. Top it all off with one of Chef’s desserts for a night to remember. Ask for server Sky! A new location in Huntersville is coming soon!

One of my favourite go to places for dinners, business meetings, birthdays, anniversaries and date night. Owners Faith and Wes Choplin do a excellent job of quality food nicely presented by consistently excellent service in a very nicely decorated facility. They offer indoor as well as patio sitting. The owners greet patrons like family and constantly checking to provide the outstanding experience. Recently brought my 6 person men's group in, as well as Thursday date night and all had a outstanding experience. Recommend the scallops, onion soup, steaks, salmon and wines. Check with Faith and Wes about the opening of their second location in Huntersville.

Initial story: We went online and found this restaurant. We booked a seating time on the web. We had a large group and needed to provide a credit card. When we arrived there was approx. 3 - 4 parties of various sizes that were waiting for seating. We arrived approx. 10 min early to our seating time. We notified the hostess that we had arrived. Some groups had said they were waiting for a while past their seating time. When I personally inquired with the hostess ( Samantha ) about the issue, she responded very politely that they had some groups that were taking longer to finish up and they also had a wedding rehearsal dinner taking place. Needless to say, I think they were having a hard time navigating the perfect storm. I have to hand it to the hostess as she pivoted to have very polite discussion with us and provide us drinks as we waited for an available table. She kept us informed and we all enjoyed her demeanor. At the start we were all thinking of blowing the popstand. I'm glad we didn't. Once seated, which we didn't wait very long, it was well worth it. We had a great time and enjoyed their food immensely. We had appetizers ( 5 ) for a group of 7. They were all very good. The dinners were also very good with excellent flavor and proper doneness. I guess the moral of the story is that sometimes you need to have a polite conversation and give a place a chance to perform. This restaurant did without a doubt. Sometimes I hate to write such good reviews because the next time I want to eat there I can't get a reservation. We also met the owner / lead chef. Wes was a very nice guy and I could tell that the team within this restaurant really cares about what they do. If you get the chance to go to this restaurant it's well worth the trip. I also think they have a great value. I've eaten at some of the best restaurants up and down the East Coast. This restaurant deserves a trip if you have the opportunity. Props to Madeline our caretaker on that ride.

Service by Sky was exceptional. Food was exceptional 👌 Owner stopped by our table and greeted us sincerely for coming to her restaurant.

I came here for the first time 2 years ago to celebrate my birthday with friends. The food and service was impeccable. After 2 years , I’m back. I have to say the food is still amazing, the service is still as homey and efficient. The drinks / cocktails quenches the thirst and brings good vibes to any group. And the renovations made the place more Fabulous! The ambience gives an elegant yet homey vibe. Did I mention dessert yet? The lunch menu is as Southern as it can be with hospitality and warmth… Catfish Reuben with a side of golden fried okra ! Grilled Caesar salad and the Lamb Chops cooked to perfection… just how I like it. Check it out and you’ll see what I’m talking about. You won’t be disappointed!!

Recommended by NY transplants. Great menu choices. Nice atmosphere. Food comes out quickly. Staff is super friendly and nice. Highly recommend. Appreciated the NY menu humor. Definitely recommend the brussel sprouts.
