Tiny little Thai restaurant located on Pacific Coast Highway in Corona Del Mar. I had the spicy eggplant and enjoyed every bite of this scrumptious meal. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very cozy and beautifully decorated. I will definitely be coming back.

this is the best thai food. My husband and I came to this restaurant by chance and I am very glad that we found this place for ourselves. The restaurant is small and very simple. The food is super good! Probably the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. The fried rice, pad Thai, vegetable soup, and green curry were amazing. Definitely will come back if I get the chance.

After spending the day at Crystal Cove watching the most beautiful sunset, we decided to do something we’ve never done — actually walk PCH in Newport instead of just driving through it. And that’s when we found Thai Del Mar. 🤍 The cutest little family-owned Thai restaurant tucked right along the shops. Small, cozy, beautifully designed — and run by the kindest people. The kind of place you almost want to keep to yourself… but it’s way too good not to share. We ordered: ✨ Chicken Pad Thai ✨ Beef Pad See Ew ✨ Mango Sticky Rice (because obviously) Every single bite was phenomenal. Fresh. Flavorful. Perfectly balanced. You can taste the care in the food. Honestly? This place deserves to be PACKED on a Saturday night. If you’re walking PCH in Newport Beach, please go try Thai Del Mar. Support family-owned. Support small businesses. And do not leave without the mango sticky rice. 🥭 10/10. We will absolutely be back.

I finally tried Thai Del Mar tonight after passing by several times, and I’m really glad I did. It’s literally next door to Johnny Pizza, so it’s easy to find. The food was way better than Bamboo Bistro, which is supposed to be popular but honestly wasn’t enjoyable to me at all. I ordered the Pad Thai and egg rolls, and both were really good flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. I was actually happy while eating, which says a lot. The service really stood out as well. Patrick helped me, and he was very kind, soft-spoken, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They mentioned they have fried banana for dessert, so I’m planning on coming back tomorrow to try that. Overall, I’m really happy I gave this place a chance and will definitely be returning.

I have a great appreciation for this local small business. While I hold no disrespect toward the esteemed Bamboo Bistro nearby, it seldom hits the spot. When I desire authentic Thai cuisine, this establishment is my preferred choice. The food is consistently delightful. Additionally, the genuinely kind owner consistently demonstrates sincere gratitude for my patronage - I am happy to keep supporting them.

This was an absolutely amazing meal! Very cute restaurant. Fast service and delicious food! Definitely get the garlic sauce on the edamame!!!! You won’t regret it! Our table also had Tom Yum Kai, Massaman Curry with Chicken, Yellow Curry with Tofu, and Drunken Noodles with Chicken. Absolutely amazing. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!!!!

This is a newer, boutique restaurant in CDM. We love intimate feel and the interior design of the restaurant. The menu is robust and the food is really good! If you would like to enjoy wine with your meal, bring a bottle with you.
