Opinions de Java Earth Cafe Coronado
Really great coffee and a really nice food selection. This place is great for a nice brunch or chat with friends. I LOVE their vegan rice bowl - the avocado dressing is super dope. The overnight oats are really good, too, although they often run out. The vibe here is always really nice and the outdoor patio always gets plenty of sun. The staff are always super young, so quality of service is always a bit mixed, but they’re never rude and always friendly. I highly recommend this place as a go to option for fantastic coffee and healthy, good food. My only complaint is that I wish they were open later in the day 🙂
I really like that pistachio latte and their lox and bagel. This place is a local gem can get very busy but they do fare well when they are bombarded by customers all at once. Been going here for about three years and the consistency of the product is upheld, so the flavor of your drinks don’t vary much from shift changes that much. Will be back soon. Keep up the good work Java Crew.
One word MATCHA! This place definitely is top 5 for some of the best matcha lattes I’ve had. It was perfect. Creamy, earthy, sweet, but not too sweet. My friend got the vanilla latte which was also perfection! Can’t go wrong with drinks from this place at all
Cute coffee spot next to a beautiful gallery, I had a cup of pumpkin spice latte at a beautiful fall morning, feeling so warm and cozy. I see people are working and studying in the coffee shop, it is definitely a very nice space for that. The atmosphere of this shop is very good. I’ll definitely come here to chill out with a coffee if I’m nearby.
A delightful, family owned business serving locally roasted coffee and hospitality. They are welcoming, serve quality drinks and have a beautiful cafe near the beach. It’s definitely a place to come and relax, get some work done, or bring your pup. Great vibes.
Service was nothing special. They weren’t rude but didn’t go out of their way to be nice either. Overnight oats and the honey vanilla latte are both 10/10! Cute space, good vibes from other guests and plenty of seating!
Great coffee/ latte! They not only sell coffee but breakfast burritos, pastries, avocado toast, bagels and lunch. Nice inviting environment. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We ordered the iced large brown sugar latte (20 oz) regular avocado toast and iced medium vanilla latte (16 oz) Good quality beans, medium roast. Good toast. Limited parking. Reasonable prices.
I’m still thinking about the pb bagel I had there… SO delicious. We stopped in for coffee and breakfast and were pleasantly surprised and how delicious this place was. There is minimal indoor seating, so keep this in mind on chillier days!
Very friendly service and lots of places to sit and do work on a laptop, hang out and have a conversation, etc. Great patio, too. The bagel with lox is massive (as you can see in the photo) and delicious. Good coffee also. Would recommend to anyone passing through Pacific Beach.
Nice place to grab a coffee or to work remotely. I really liked the taste of my oat milk latte and it was a great combination with a crispy croissant! The have many seats outdoors. WiFi was good.
Excellent location in north PB to get your breakfast/caffeine boost in the morning! Extremely crowded during the morning rush but that just means you’ll pet more dogs.
Relaxing and beach vibe serving up delish Stumptown coffee and interesting breakfast and lunch items. Try the breakfast burrito 🌯 with egg, black beans and cheese - it’s crispy on the outside since it’s had a new mind in a panini press - with homemade salsa. It’s breakfast and lunch for me! Relaxing and homey place.

I didn't get a drink here but we stopped for my wife to get a coffee and she did not stop talking about it the rest of our trip! She got the pistachio latte and really really loved it. The atmosphere is really cute and light. The service was quick and friendly.
Visited San Diego-coming from Florida and this was the best latte I have EVER had. I 100% recommend the vanilla honey iced latte.
Java Earth has become my favorite spot in PB. The drinks are always good (especially the strawberry matcha), but what really makes it special is the service. The staff is so friendly, welcoming, and always in a great mood. They take the time to connect and make you feel at home, which is rare these days. It’s the kind of place where you leave feeling better than when you walked in. Couldn’t recommend it more!!

Great coffee. Pastries are fresh. Even if the display case looks low on supply don’t worry as it is regularly replenished due to high demand. I often go to Java Earth when in PB but it is getting annoying that it is hard to get a table. Too many singles working by themselves occupying 90% of tables for hours longer than what one drink warrants.
Nice patio and indoor seating options, tried the pistachio milk latte which was good (hard to find at coffee shops) but waited about 25-30 minutes for my burrito to go because ‘everyone kept taking the wrong orders’ so maybe getting people’s names would avoid this issue they keep having. That said- soyrizo egg burrito was ideal size ($14), good dirty chai $8.5

$12+ for a breakfast burrito with a cold tortilla & unmelted shredded cheese is wild. Matcha is great, though.

A friend recommended this coffee shop to me while I was in town. Great area, better atmosphere. I approached the counter and nobody greeted me, the register worker was talking to another barista while that barista made drinks. She proceeds to step to the ipad when I ask how’s she’s doing, she says good. I place my order, she turns the ipad around and walks away. No thank you, no have a nice day, no customer service. I believe her name was jess or jessy (a worker addresses her while i was waiting for my drink and sandwich). The strawberry matcha is amazing here, and I would definitely recommend it, and their sunrise bagel hit the spot.
Their breakfast burrito is super plain. It also has an option to choose your protein. I selected turkey and it was deli meat turkey….. not what I was expecting. For $17, at least do turkey sausage
Came to pick up a delivery order. I saw a few bags placed next to the register, and since they were busy helping a customer, I picked up one that clearly said DoorDash to check if it matched the name on my pickup. That is usually how it works at most restaurants. While I was simply trying to confirm the name on the bag, a guy suddenly came up to me with extremely hostile eyes, grabbed the bag out of my hands, and said it was not my order. The way he looked at me made me feel like he thought I was trying to steal something. That kind of treatment was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I used to come here for breakfast with friends, but after being treated like that, I will not be coming back.
I usually love this place, been coming for 6-7 years. But it’s been pretty bad this last year consistently. Poor quality lattes, big lines and pricey. Sometime poor customer service. It’s one thing to charge a premium price but at least make a quality coffee. I’d be down to wait longer if they provided the high quality like they used to. I’ll delete this review and give 5 star if we can get this place back to its roots on a consistent basis.
Honestly really cute place to grab breakfast and coffee. I unfortunately found a hair in my bagel sandwich which sucked cause the food was actually really good. Left disappointed.
