I’ve been to every taco shop in Pacific Beach and a lot of other taco shops in San Diego. There are some alright shops. This place is amazing. The. carnasada meat is fresh cooked perfect. It’s a family owned restaurant. They take pride in what they do. Very nice and care about the people that come there and treat everyone like family. I always watch how they treat first time customers. Best taco shop in Pacific Beach and San Diego. If you want authentic Mexican food and cuisine. This is your destination. Julio and Lulu are the Best.

High quality carnitas. Whatever everything else. Thought they may use fake Quac but I think it was just not super fresh. Fries could definitely be more crispy. Finished the whole plate and enjoyed none the less.

I have been to this venue many times and it’s always serving quality burritos. I have never experienced a bad meal here. Don’t sleep on this place as they have great California burritos and tacos. The service is friendly and quick too.

Incredible, me and my girlfriend were in the area and tried 2 tacos, a burrito and within 5 minutes they were ready. Its clean, fast serving and the air-conditioning was just perfect on a sunny day. Highly recommend, btw try the conga burrito!!!

I can’t say enough good things about this spot. If you’re looking for the best Cali Burrito in SD it’s here and it’s not even close. Julio the owner is the best and no wonder they have such good reviews.

I’m writing this as I’m halfway across the world dreaming of their Cali burrito. This has been my go to stop specifically for their Cali burritos for almost 15 years. Just try it, and thank me later.

Areli’s has the best carne asada burrito in all of San Diego. The flavor, portions, and consistency blow the overhyped spots out of the water. Friendly staff, quick service, and reasonably priced. I keep trying other places, but nothing hits like Areli’s!

I recently dined at Areli’s Taco Shop in PB and was thoroughly impressed! The mini tacos and nachos were incredibly delicious, bursting with flavor in every bite. Not only were the dishes superb, but the owners also exuded warmth and generosity, providing ample portions that left me completely satisfied. I highly recommend Areli’s Taco Shop for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine served with a side of hospitality.

Arelis Taco Shop serves us authentic Mexican food. We tried the fish tacos and Pastor Tacos which we enjoyed. The others with us had the Pollo Asada Tortas and Chicken Enchilada plate which were also good. You can get Tacos ala carte for $4.99-$5.50.

Pretty good California burrito, made very quick!

This is our first time here and the food was pretty good. The reason we gave it four stars is because the price$ were kinda steep. If you come and check this place out you gotta try the green and red sauce because those are bomb. Cheers

We had a ceviche tostada, which was decent. It had way more tomato and onion than it did shrimp. It wasn't bad but our expectations were higher due to the 4.5 star rating. The other item we had was the fish burrito. The burrito was just not good. We've had fish burritos all over San Diego for the past 20 years. We know a good one from a bad one and this one was not good. The breading on the fish was very thick and not at all light and crispy. The fish itself seemed like it may have been previously frozen. It definitely wasn't fresh. There was a lot of tartar sauce or something similar inside. Not like the sauce you would normally taste. In addition to the filling not being great, there wasn't that much of it. The ends of the burrito were all tortilla. I would have loved to give this place a great review because we had high hopes. When you order a fish burrito in PB, you have a certain expectation. This one was disappointing.

Great service, good portions but no flavor to the food or sauce. Chicken in the enchiladas were cubed and tasted like processed meat. Was not the best food .

I've ordered from this place three times via doordash. I was looking at reviews and they were good and i saw someone ask for their fries well done and that was a game changer for me, i didn't realize that was an option haha. i usually don't order carne asada fries at taco shops because i don't like the fries being soggy. so i requested my fries to be well done and they did and it was super good. the second time they didn't and it wasn't a big deal the food was still good. i ordered today and requested the fries being well done and i also ordered some tacos on the side for dinner later as i'm constantly working and don't have time to cook for myself. the tacos didn't come which was no biggie i can get food elsewhere but the fries came with a note saying "how do you expect your fries to be done in five minutes? also give yourself time." i was and am genuinely confused because i ordered it on the standard delivery time. i never choose the express because i don't want my food to be rushed. I called to try and get this resolved and see what happened but the guy hung up on me after i explained. Honestly i'm assuming the doordasher arrived very early and they felt rushed but i'm not too sure. doesn't really matter because they shouldn't be treating customers that way especially when i wasn't rude with my request.
