I’ve gone here multiple times before and I got the avocado, bacon and cheddar burger. It was delicious and my server , Julia was quick Great with her service, she was communicative and helpful. Good job 👏 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Traditional pub grub. Impossible burger was good, with lots of toppings. Don’t spend the extra $5 to “upgrade” to side salad. (See pic.) Fries are 100% better. Super friendly waiter. Nice outdoor patio with fire pits, although seats are uncomfortable.

Food was excellent!! Service was even better!! For apps we had the pub crusties and onion rings both were delicious definitely recommend!! For entres it was the shepherds pie and Reuben. We told them we were sharing the shepherds pie and they split it so cutely and it was delicious. Reuben sandwich also bomb. Thanks for a great experience!!!

Great place to have a casual hang. Good vibe, lots of food options and the patio is fantastic. Fish & Chips was a bit overcooked, but it didn't ruin the flavor. I'd order it again, for sure. Big filets and fresh chips. Good, cold beer and overall good pub!

Had a great veggie burger with cheese here - it was served with a delish aioli and the fries were fantastic. Service was good. Typical pub feels inside, brought back memories of the gastropubs we enjoyed while visiting Ireland a few years back.

McP's Irish Pub has excellent food and great service. prices were reasonable, and waiter was awesome! Great outdoor atmosphere with heaters!

Near the Hotel Del Coronado and one of the Hop on Hop off stops for the Trolley. You get 10% off your lunch with your trolley ticket stubs. The menu was typical Irish Pub fare. Our sandwiches were overstuffed and yummy. Sat outside in the courtyard and enjoyed the atmosphere and people watching!

Rated food at 3 stars, as it wasn’t fabulous bar food, nor the worst. Our 2 Irish dishes were excellent, but our friend’s regular bar food items were just ok. Service was great, however 2 of our friends arrived late as they drove in from Long Beach. They had to wait extra long due to their order ticket “fell” and was hidden/lost in the kitchen. I felt they at least could’ve gotten a free item a free drink or a discount due to that. They didn’t ask, and it was not offered 1 was military and the other LAPD law-enforcement. Parking in Coronado is horrendous!

Stopped in for lunch and some beers. Nice atmosphere and cold beers. Food was good. Quick service. They had college football games on inside.

We got there 8:45pm on a Thursday, the server said" there's no food service and if you want a beer or cocktail, you need to go ask for it at the bar". Drank a beer and left. The live music was good, perhaps I'll give it another try some other day.

I get it. Its Coronado, so pricy. But, $4 for split plates, an technology 3%charge what the heck is that? We stopped in for a couple beers and a snack for two kids and they charged us 18% service for 6 people even though only two adults had beers and two kids ate. I always tip very well but I hate it being dictated especially for only a few items. Bill came to about $71 for two beers, a hot chocolate, a kids meal and fish and chips. The service and atmosphere were good not that good. Fish and chips fish was nice, but the breading was like bread not at all what I expect to find in an Irish or British pub.

This restaurant is a mix bag. Location is excellent in downtown Coronado , but the food is average and the service is pretty good.. I was seated immediately and the menu looked great. I asked if the fish and chips was recommended and the waiter said yes. Ended up getting the half order thank goodness, as it was very greasy, and the fries were very greasy as well. But if you were looking for a bar with a good atmosphere, I would recommend this location. My drink was good and the decor was very good as well as a lot of of the Navy seals and a lot of artifacts to look at.

Nice casual place. Large outdoor seating. Live music. The local pale ale is easy to drink. I had the burger. My wife had the meatball skillet. Unfortunately, my burger was less than expected. No real taste to savor. Needed condiments just to get some flavor. However, the wife's meatball skillet I tried was pretty good. The sauce has some seasoning and it goes well with the toasted bread that it comes with. Staff was friendly and prompt. Men's restroom was clean. If the burger was better I would happily rate higher. But over, a good experience. Just don't come with a pallet with high expectations.

I've been here a few times but it's first time that I had food. I was disappointed. We ordered a shepherds pie to share. They were nice enough to split it into two but with extra charges that we were not aware of. The flavor was good but it’s very salty. We also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich but my son only ate a quarter of it because it was dry. I was very disappointed when they brought out a bowl of boxed mac n cheese! That’s a huge disappointment to me. We also ordered fries with Guinness gravy off the happy hour menu. The price was great and the fries were good, however the gravy wasn’t anything special and it’s very salty as well. That said, this is prob a place for drinks but not food. The bar area is unique and that’s prob the only thing that seems appealing for me. There are other better bars to check out in the area.

Normally I love this place but on 12/13/25, I ordered a French Dip, and As I bit into it I almost swallowed a 7 inch string apparently from a towel. Notified the waiter. Not even an apology or a free coke. I was shocked as we were a party of four.
