Taqueria Almedia #1 is a local favorite known for its delicious and generously sized tacos, especially the breakfast tacos and steak tacos. Many rave about the homemade tortillas and watermelon juice. Some find the food inconsistent or the service lacking personality.

Tip: Ask for the steak taco all the way and add an egg for a pricier but worthwhile taco experience. Watermelon Agua Fresca is highly recommended.

The BEST Mexican food in town! Breakfast tacos are chunky, fresh and delicious. Hot sauce out of bounds!! Drive thru is fast, so if you see a long line, don't drive away; they are very efficient. The locals simply call it "The Taco Stand"
I love this place. They have the best food. There's a reason why I've seen them grow from the begging. Great tacos great food and great service! Absolutely recommend this place to everyone. Friendly and easy access.
This is my favorite food place around. It's in flour bluff. I wouldn't know what to do if they ever wasn't too be there. I recommend them to anyone. You won't get anything bad there. I love this place for everything they make.
I worked for Flour bluff ISD for years, would eat here 2-3 days a week. I’ve moved away and travel back to corpus a couple times a year and this place is a must. One of my all time favorite Mexican spots.
EDIT: prices are way to high! Were not in covid any more! Lower your price back down! And BOX EGG are gross! Stop using them! You make us pay more, but get gross box eggs??? That's not right..Always the best, no matter what you get. Very quick drive thru.
We've been going here for years (since I was a kid) and it was always our favorite. Awhile ago the quality of the food had gone down and we stopped eating here, but today we went and I was pleasantly surprised! Their tortillas were great, just like they used to be and the tacos were really good. Keep up the good work y'all!
I've been coming here since the mid 90s. Consistent! They are very consistent. Fresh, quality meats and vegetables, really delicious. Breakfast is served all day, lunch/dinner items are great. Very affordable. The watermelon Fresca is amazing don't forget to order it.
My #1 taco go-to spot in the Bluff.. tried a Mollejas for the first time here, and it was DELICIOUS!! They cook them perfect, nice & crispy!!! Tortillas are REAL🤤 not that store-brought mess! Best taco spot in CC!
It’s a landmark establishment, simply good food for a reasonable price. They know what they’re doing & are efficient! The breakfast tacos live rent free in my brain!
Now you talk about real Mexican food. Wow it is so great. I eat there as often as I can. 2 to 3 times a week. The spices are added just right and they service is great . They are very helpful in explaining what's what. You should really try them out. Prices are sooo reasonable I often take friends there. Often busy but so well worth it. Goes fast
Great tacos... Loaded with flavor and filling. Definitely get your money's worth. People here are friendly and quick
I've tried several different things on the menu, and it's all good and cheap! Breakfast tacos get you the best bang for your buck and watermelon drink is a necessity in the heat or when hungover. (Always go for the large size!) Absolutely delicious. the lemonade is also wonderful, both drinks actually taste like real watermelon and lemon, instead of just flavored juice. So refreshing! Be careful around the busier times of day and some weekend mornings, as it's really the only place in the nearby area for food and it gets really busy, although they almost always do a wonderful job keeping up. I've actually never called ahead, and my longest wait time (by far) was maybe 20 minutes, and there were cars waiting in the busy street to get into the drive thru! You can call in and order ahead, so definitely take advantage of that during rush hours like between 4-6 on weekdays. My girlfriend and I have had to practically live off this place for a little while and it's NEVER got old. There is certainly something for just about anybody on their big menu!
Excellent tasting Beacon, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Tacos. A taste beyond all others ever eaten. Use to live in Corpus Christi, Tx. So good, it's the 1st place we went too from our trip down from Lawton, Oklahoma. Would definitely recommend this place.
I love this place. I came back here after 10 years and it tastes exactly as I remember. Fresh homemade thick tortillas are the star of the show here. Breakfast tacos are huge and comforting. I wish I could take this place with me back to where I am now. I'd come every day.
I've been going to this taco stand since I was in third grade and now I'm 27 years old and still love the tacos and other food from this place. They have very nice employees and I've never had a problem with the food they serve me. Their taco sauce is a little weak but taste very good. My favorite drink to get from here is the watermelon drink and I would say everyone should try it out.
My husband and I were in town for just a couple of days and looked up the best tacos in town. We found a couple of places that looked good and these were on our way to the beach. So we stopped by and had their Al Pastor Tacos, Horchata and Watermelon Drink. We were blown away! These were truly the best Al Pastor tacos we have ever had and we are definitely taco critics. They are large and on flour tortillas that taste extremely fresh. We’ve talked about how we wish we lived closer because we would make even a 5 hour drive just for these tacos!
The breakfast tacos are amazing. Every time we have guests, they now want this for breakfast. Little pricey, but I the homemade tortillas makes it worth it. The staff is great and friendly and positive atmosphere.
I haven’t lived in Corpus Christi for over a decade. I still dream about this place’s breakfast tacos.
Good Food.. best carne guisada and cheese I've had... wish it was indoor restaurant to come in and sit and be served. That's the only thing.
This place did not disappoint. Tortillas are definitely home made- fresh and soft. Barbacoa was good! Glad it came with cilantro and onions(optional). Bacon, egg, and cheese was good as well. Brisket bits and eggs was very flavorful. Potato, egg, and beans was delish! Beans are cooked with bacon grease, at least that’s what it seemed like, so it elevates the flavor. Eggs are NOT dried which further proves the freshness. We have found a hole in the wall that we will frequent when in town!
Incredible, authentic home made tasting breakfast tacos. Large enough to satisfy a grown man with just two. Soft thick homemade tortillas, perfect eggs. THICK bacon. HOT temperature wise. Best breakfast tacos I've ever had in my life. Also their home made watermelon juice drink is awesome. Highly recommend, will get this every time I come through Corpus
Tacos are phenomenal and burritos will kill any appetite!
Good prices, good food, good employees...maybe not be a fancy restaurant but there is drive-thru and you can still eat there and enjoy the delicious food!
I've been going here for over a decade and always receive great food at a great price. Staff is great, food is amazing.
This place is always hoppin . Salsa so good . Always very nice at the drive through ...friendly family oriented place. Well shaded area to eat outside n talk .
The cashier told us, "we have a lot of clients." No doubt. This is a place that opens real early for the roughnecks and takes its food very seriously. House-made tortillas are always appreciated, and these were delicious, thick, a tiny bit sour (maybe they use yeast instead of baking powder? Tasted great) and perfectly browned on the outside like a dalmatian. Different dishes were paired with different kinds of refried beans, which is a great flex for a little take-out joint like this. Screen porch seating was mostly on a bunch of funky red picnic tables, but there were also a couple truck tailgates that work as high benches? Or counters to eat while standing? I'm not really sure but it was cool. Overall, I was really charmed and ate really well. Like the song ought to say, it's "taco time" somewhere. This is that somewhere.
LIKE JUST AMAZING OWNER IS SO NICE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FAST SERVICE SUCH OLD RESTAURANT VIBE I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! GOING HERE FOR MY 14TH BIRTHDAY
We like the bowl and often order to go
The food is always really good. If you call in ahead of time and place an order to go, you can skip the line!
I love this place wholeheartedly to say the least! I've been coming to this place for years and I love it. Their food is so delicious and the prices are acceptable. I usually get the tacos, this place makes them taste so good! My favorite is the bean and cheese, but that's just my personal preference. If the taco is too dry, they provide really yummy, spicy sauce for you- but you have to ask for how much you want. They have this watermelon drink and I recommend that, it's nice. Personally, I love the way the restaurant is set up as well. The benches to sit on when you eat your food are so cute, haha. Cashier might not always be polite but it's not consistently like that, and interaction with them is very little anyway.
Called ahead for 9 tacos. Not only was the order correct. It was AWESOME!!!
This place is absolutely delicious. Decided to stop by again after yesterday's visit, and they nailed it both times. Tortillas (flour and corn) are homemade, fresh and soft. Brisket bits and eggs are packed with flavor and leave you wanting more. Beans are cooked in bacon grease, at least I think they are, which elevates the flavor so much more. They use the good yellow cheese (many restaurants no longer serve). Eggs are not dried. Salsa is a bit runny but packs flavor! Food is on point. Definitely a place to frequent when in town.
My husband and I are from Sa tx and don't have a good authentic Mexican restaurant near us so we don't buy any, while on vacation out here in corpus we decided to try this place out and omg its delicious 😋 anytime we are out here were stopping by, their chilequilas taco with cheese is amazing!!! Also their bean and cheese is best I've had ever besides my own lol definitely check this place out u won't be disappointed!
This is in response to Marc’s review. Oh Marc… it’s clear from your reviews history that you use whatever little power you have to tear down small businesses under the guise of “expertise.” I’m a CC local and have been eating here since 2016. In 9 years, I’ve only had a few incorrect orders.. and they somehow ended up better than what I asked for. You mock the appearance of the restaurant, but it’s a family-run place that focuses on quality food, not trendy aesthetics. They don’t need curb appeal when their food speaks for itself. And seriously.. what’s a “taco tortilla”? Sounds like you’re used to pre-shaped shells from Walmart. Their tortillas are handmade and authentic, exactly how they should be. The al pastor? It’s greasy on purpose. That’s flavor. That’s tradition. This place isn’t dying.. it just isn’t for people who don’t understand South Texas food.
Amazingly kind people. Great food and drinks.
This place is on point! As an out of town visitor I was looking for "good" food in the area but being from the Southside of San Anto I have high standards when it comes to taquerias. I decided to give this place a try in the middle of the week. I phoned in a order for a picadillo plate and it was ready when I got there, they have a drive-through pickup window so it was very convenient. They gave me green salsa which was hot enough to satisfy. My picadillo was well cooked and I was pleasantly surprised to find cheese topping my beans. On my plate order it came with a little cup of guacamole which was fresh and tasty. They have a lot of menu items and I'm sure if you want a jalapeno they will produce on like a rabbit from a hat. Everything was really good and their tortillas are great! I got extra tortillas and you should too because you can definitely split this plate with a person or save the other half for later! 5 tortilla rating!
Good place my kids love to eat breakfast here before school
Fantastic tacos. Everything I tried was good...we stayed nearby so I went several times, highly recommended...
Well,my friends and I had drank alot too much and were feeling very hungover. So I took control and scooped up donations fo native American orphanages and everyone was focused on consuming some really hot coffee and some great eggs and bacon. The black coffee was very potent but with plenty of sugar etc...it's was both effective and delicious. We all had a great time even the dishwasher must be really well - nouished
This is one of the best taco spots! The tacos are huge. It’s hard to find a Mexican restaurant that uses American cheese. Delicious
I ordered the crispy tacos and they were excellent and made with real hamburger and fresh ingredients. I was surprised by how good they were and will be eating them again.
Our family has and will remain fans. In fact, this establishment is a local community favorite. Thank you for the food, smiles and open seating. Hands down the place to pickup delicious meals ❤️ and those who enjoy a brisk walk such as high school students and athletes as well as active fit families…..select here for their morning breakfast tacos and lunch as well as diner specials. Thank you 😊
Tacos were on homemade flour tortillas 😋 and I ordered the bacon 🥓 and egg. Full strips of thick crispy bacon with lots of flavor and a bean and chorizo taco. My wife got 2 bacon and egg tacos and we ordered ☕ coffee as well. The place is reminiscent of a beach front store, with screen walls and signs of "no profanity" so we avoided arguing and cussing each other out. They also serve fruit cups and shakes and a lot more than just tacos. May not be very comfortable here during times of extreme heat, we came early morning 🌄
The food in this establishment is delicious, from taquitos, to caldos , gorditas to aguas frescas. My favorite are the brisket and steak tacos , they are the bomb. Watermelon drinks so good and refreshing. Plenty of benches to sit down and eat. The personnel is so nice and attentive great customer service. Restroom is available as well. I love this place and highly recommend it. Thumbs up👍
Those in the area will know what gem this place is: this review is for the others. . We visited after a brief visit to a local, who recommended their tacos. There was quite a line for the drive through, but luckily we planned to dine-"in". . Parking out front, we entered via the chain link gate. This place clearly gets busy, as there was seating for multitudes and standing for even more. We walked up to the unprepossessing order window and studied what to have. . I decided on the Brisket taco ("Do you want BBQ sauce" , huh? On a taco?) and a Picaddillo taco, plus unsweet tea. We sat at a picnic table, and the cashier brought us our drinks. A very few minutes later, she brought us tacos. . Yeah, they are superb. The tortillas are awesome, and stuffed with almost too much fillings. We also had a few of they salsas in the bag. . The brisket was truly top-notch, not too lean and tossed in BBQ sauce. I was surprised to see pickles too. This was like a brisket sandwich, but using a tortilla. The picaddillo taco was equally perfect, filled plentifully with delicious meat and [potatoes] (maybe? It was fantastic) . There was nothing about the experience that was at all bad. Really excellent meal. . They do have a drive through. When busy, the locals came in to the window and left a few minutes later. . If I lived anywhere close, I'd definitely be a regular.
It was the closest place to the school. So I often went there and still do. Me and my wife love it. She often gets the chilli cheese fries and I get the brisket tacos. All the aguas frescas they have are great. They really upgrade the outside portion but won't recommend going in, too many kids. The one thing I dont like (aside from all the kids) is that they take forever to make everything so I often go exclusively go for watermelon drinks. So hopefully they eventually get faster, but as I have been going there for years they haven't really changed much.
The food is usually pretty good here. It is one of our go-to places
I've seen this place go from a little shack 20 years ago to a bigger shack now with an enclosed front area. Always found them to be a convenient and great place for affordable tacos. They have a drive through if you're pressure for time. Pros: Great prices. Food hits the spot. Cons: Sometimes the flies get in and pester you. On humid days you may feel some discomfort. The trash can sometimes smell up the place. Careful walking the parking lot with the traffic.
Breakfast tacos are good. The pollo con mole is great but the portion is small. Birria is great. Lemonade is great. Best watermelon drink in town. Tortillas are perfect. However, one thing. Do not get the steak taco. It is not steak, more like mystery meat. The only item I've tried and disliked.
Delicious breakfast tacos!! Their flour tortillas are fresh and fluffy and all around boss. I just wish they had more than two ingredients on said breakfast tacos. Highly recommend ordering the off-menu potato and chorizo tacos, they are a delight. Make sure to get some red and green salsa both are solid and pair well with potato.
Service is really slow but the food was really good 👍
Been going to this place for 30yrs. Not much to look at. It did get a face lift a year or so ago. The high school is directly across the street. KIDS love it!
All in all I like this place .. the food is good, I've never had to wait long for my food and the staff is friendly and motivated. ..👉 BUT...👉 **whoever** is in charge of cooking the bacon for breakfast tacos, .. YOU'RE OVERCOOKING THE BACON. It's kinda hard to chew lately.. ease up a little bit.. other than that.. it's good food and good times. ... ... .... **UPDATE**** .. my own God given teeth called the cops on me bc of the breakfast tacos they tried pressing charges for *assault with a weapon, but I was only charged for *bacon and entering.. .. 😎🤏 I may just have to file a protective order against the taco stand... So when I'm withing 100ft of the drive-thru all I can order is restraint..
Overall, the food was very good. Best refried beans I've had at any Tex Mex place. Great chalupas, rice. Carne guisada and barbacoa both excellent. The fresh flour tortillas were thick and tasty but on the dry side ( need more lard ), Sauce for the cheese enchiladas was tomato based and tasted like the sauce that comes with Chef Boyardee raviolis. Definitely not great. Overall, pretty good food but needs a bit of work on the tortillas and they need a proper chili con carne gravy recipe.
The food a couple years ago was phenomenal. Then Covid came and the quality of food in the restaurant dropped. That being said it’s still one of the best places to get breakfast tacos in flour bluff. The salsa isn’t my favorite as it is not spicy and too watery. The corn tortillas are pretty dang good and the chorizo is always good.
Tacos are huge..taste good..hot sauce isn't hot. Flour chips, my kids loved.
Food is hit or miss. Lately it’s been not so good. When this place first opened up the food was always hot and fresh. Now it seems like all the breakfast food is prepare and just scooped into a tortilla and you would be lucky if it’s hot. Update: I went back after not going for about a year. The food now is better. Price wise it’s kind of expensive but eggs cost a lot also.
Tortillas are home made and they make large breakfast tacos. But to compensate the tortillas are thick, so it's all preference to that. Prices are kinda high, over $3 a taco, $12 a plate. I've only ordered to go, I haven't eaten inside
Food was large portions and decent for the price. A couple of mixup on our order but nothing to complain about.
This used to be the best place to go. They had quality food at fair prices. Now, one small Carne Guisada taco is $3.80 before tax. The flavor was still good, but the meat was in large chunks with cartilage.
Great good hut your prices are crazy I remember when the bean and cheese was 1.25. Now they are over 3.00 it shouldn't cost almost 30 dollars for 3 tacos and a drink
Ordered a carne asada taco but got ground beef. Even tho he read it back to me twice. The guy at the window had no personality or hospitality. the salsa is very watery and the cheese they use is horrible. . The only thing good about this place is their watermelon frescas and the serving sizes of bacon.
I was a bit disappointed with my visit. I tried the lengua, al pastor, and carne asada. The meats were a bit dry and not super flavorful. The tortillas were quite good though. Of the three, I liked the al pastor the best. Watermelon drink was good. Had nice dive restaurant vibes. From reading the reviews I expected to be blown away but sadly that was not the case.
Don't order the pancakes, batter is still raw inside of them. Gave 2 stars because the tortillas are good. But tacos overall are just ok. Be prepared to wait a minimum of 20 minutes in the drive thru.
I went here this morning and I got one bean and cheese taco and they charged me $8.68 for it. I come here all the time as I live less than a mile away and the food is good but that’s just ridiculous. She didn’t give me a receipt or offer one so I didn’t know until I checked my account just a little bit ago. Tried to call and no answer. Very frustrating. Guess I’ll go somewhere else
Ordered through Favor since I don't have a vehicle during the day. My grandson ordered a chorizo & egg breakfast taco, I know it is greasy, but the entire tortilla was wet from the grease. Then the eggs were not even warm.....I ordered and it arrived within 20 mins. So I don't know what happened. I ordered a breakfast plate eggs and bacon, potatoes & refined beans. The over easy eggs were the best part of the meal, even though they were barely warm. The bacon was pretty much jerky, breakfast potatoes were STEAMED (wasn't noted on the menu), one mash from mashed potatoes with no flavor, the refried pinto beans were almost black they were old, dry and super duper salty.......what an awful place! I ordered from here because I read the great review from NAS location (but that location didn't work with any delivery companies). O-well you live and you learn. Never again
Yes they are authentic! I've seen the two big guys I'm guessing their brothers. Pouring allot of water into already watered drinks. The tacos they serve to are small. For the price it's worth going to another location. Good Luck folks
The first time I went was perfect!! The last 3 times were the worst Got the order wrong not once but 3 times Their potato soup was horrible taste like soap & watery.. Al pastor horrible.... I'm a big girl I love food 😋 Told them they messed up the order she did nothing and couldn't understand me...
Has potential. Food was terrible. Parking OK. Great Location.
I've been going here for a while but lately they have really been messing up orders like shorting me a taco here and there, today I was going to enjoy an enchilada plate and then I opened my avocado and taste it it looks beautiful but it was sour
I was disappointed. I asked for cheese dip and got a bowl of shredded cheese. My meal was supposed to come with sour cream and guacamole but I got two sour cream. I definitely overpaid for what I got. I should have just made it myself.
The crne asade is NOT good. Their price on chips and salsa to go are Horrible. The guy at the window needs to be put in another position...not customer service. And their cheese sucks. Best thing they have going is their watermelon frescas.
Been going to this place since I was in high school back in 2001. I’m not sure what happened or if they are under new ownership but the food has steadily gotten worse and worse. We’re now at that point of going to try it out every couple months to see if it has gotten better and it’s almost worse every time. We went and got it tonight and couldn’t even choke through a quarter of my burrito. Now we sitting down with some frootloops and Frosted Flakes. Do yourself a favor and go back to the way it was consistently for the last 20 years and get rid of what you changed cuz it’s bad.
Really? $10.99 for huevos rancheros!! In San Antonio I pay $5.99 and it comes with a coffee. Yall are crooked charging prices like that smh...
Both my husband and I got food poisoning from eating here. We had been before with no issues, but whoever was cooking caused us to have the worst 24 hours. We will never go back.
Have had good tacos at the NAS location, So we ordered from here. Wow! Big mistake, they gave us some tacos we didn't order, they didn't give us some tacos we did order, my bacon/egg breakfast plate was horrible. The scrambled eggs were over done, the bacon was like jerky, I ordered fried potatoes instead of steamed (one mash from being mashed potatoes) STILL received streamed, then they put some nasty cheese on the dried up refried beans. Had to use about 3 napkins to take the excess grease off the chorizo and egg taco, ended up calling them for one man to pick up listen to me then just hand the phone over to some woman who was so rude. I drove back up there & just requested a refund on all, but 3 tacos. Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else. I can't believe though after all that happened THEY WERE RUDE!
This place has been going down hill for years.. The prices are high and the food quality is sub par. The bacon taste like it's been deep fried and all ways comes in bits and shards. 90% of the time they get your order wrong or forget something. The manager always says come back up and we will make it right but what about my time and gas. It's disappointing because we don't have much of a choice in the Bluff. Please get it together soon.
Service was unbearable. Extremely rude cashier. Food was distasteful and disappointing. I've come here for years and loved it but they have gone downhill within the last couple of months.
I called for a pickup order for QUESABIRRIA Tacos. The guy acted like he had no idea what I was talking about, I had to explain the food THEY serve. I get the taco, there is yellow cheese and no Consommé. The meat was extremely salty.
Canned potatoes and carton eggs. Thats the review. Check out Taqueria Chapala instead.
Honestly I don't think I have ever had good food from here. we have given this restaurant more than enough chances. The prices are never consistent and usually quite a bit more than other places. There have been times I've waited over 30 mins in the drive thru for a couple tacos. they have served the car before me and then 3 that came after me and somehow still didn't have my food.
The food tastes pretty good but every time I order more than 2 items what I get is incorrect. I usually don't mind and I'll just eat what I get. Do not go unless you have at least 20 minutes to spare. Today, I ordered 1 item and they made me pull over even though there were no other customers. I waited 15 minutes then told them I was in a hurry. They said "just wait in your car, we'll be right out. " I waited another 7 minutes then I told them I could no longer wait and asked for a refund and they refused to give me a refund.
Tacos suck!!!! Food tastes old! Not even my drink tasted good Shut downnn!!
Had a very poor experience today. I ordered 2 potato/bacon tacos, 2 bacon/egg tacos, 2 bean/egg/cheese tacos, & 2 tripa tacos (which cost more). I instead received 3 bacon/potato/egg/cheese tacos, only 1 tripa taco, 1 random bean/meat/cheese taco that I did not even come close to ordering, 1 bacon/potato taco, & 2 bean/egg/cheese tacos. This means at least half of our entire order was incorrect which is mind boggling for spending over $30.
Got my order read back to me when I got it taken to my car, got home and it was the wrong order. I called went back to pick up , they asked me for the order that I had because it’s “law” for them to throw it in the trash. No cars this time. I got my order went home and again .. wrong order. This time I took all the waste of food they wanted to throw away and finally got my right order. Better off going to Taco Bell, at least they give me some cinnamon twists for the inconvenience. Nothing here.. horrible experience
I’m not the Karen type but I cannot believe how bad this food was. Ignore all the 5 star reviews you see on here because they’re either fake or they’re paid off to lie. I ordered carne asada and was given ground beef, when I brought it up to the guy he told me it was carne asada, they just have tiny cuts of carne asada…. I know what carne asada looks and taste like and that was not carne asada, it was cold, dry, and oily ground beef. I got a fish sandwich as well that was completely disassembled, just a piece of fish and 4 dry, oily pieces of burnt toast. Cherry on top, I ordered a large horchata, it tasted fine but I only got about 5 gulps of the drink because it was 90% ice and 10% drink. This is quite literally the worst Mexican food I’ve eaten in my entire life, don’t go here, food is horrible and you don’t get what you pay for. It’s made with a not a single care in the world.
Yall really out here at 9am giving us yesterdays food? Hard dry tortillas, dry beans and bottom of the pot carne guisada. SMH. Flour bluff has no good Mexican food options anymore.
I have lived in Texas all my life and in SA area. I have never had bad taco until now. The tortillas were burnt and the sausage and potato taco was mushyand cold. The salsa was watery and tasteless. The ad said said it was the best tacos in town. I gave it a try. I was not happy with the tacos. Cold and tasteless, burnt.
Awful. This run-down, less-than-clean dive is a chaotic mix between Dine-In and Drive-Thru and offers zero reassurance on up-to-code cleanliness. The staff, a motley crew of college-aged young adults, are friendly, but are not professional, or attentive, and are less-than-presentable in terms of uniform/food safety clothing. Though it should be noted, I did see one hair net in use amongst the 5 teammates who should have been using them. Let's talk about the food. Using "food" loosely here... My order was supposed to be - 2 chicken tacos with cilantro and onion and 2 al pastor tacos with cilantro only. I received - 4 egg tacos, 2 chicken tacos all the way, 2 al pastor tacos all the way. None of which were made with Taco tortillas. Apparently, here they use some kind of pita-like bread as taco tortillas. The "salsa" is something akin to sink water and tomato juice. Skip it and just drink bath water instead. It's important to note that though we did not order the egg tacos, they were dangerously undercooked. The chicken tasted like cat food. The pastor was good, but not great, and was swimming in oil and grease. TL;DR, don't eat here. This place is dying and we need to let it before someone gets sick or dies. Or the owners need to mount a strong executive presence immediately and effect positive change.
