Opinions de Flock Corpus Christi
One of the best bars in Corpus Christi, TX. Taylor is a master of the craft. If you want a true "old fashioned" done correctly, this is the place. Guinness is poured correctly and smooth to the finish. If your in the area, stop by and grab a drink. You will not be disappointed. A+ RECOMMENDED
I feel that the overall ambience of the place is nice and chill. I tried the Texas old-fashioned and the berry smash and felt like they were made with perfectly balanced ingredients. Looking forward to trying other items on the cocktail menu.
Great atmosphere and decor. Had the spring old fashioned made with Maker's Mark (picture) and a custom drink the bartender adapted to my pickiness very well. Not to mention, she's very cute!😉
A college bar with a good atmosphere. Service was excellent! I ordered a Coors Light just like in my hometown.

The vibe was great. Taylor the bartender was dope. Specials were great prices. Music was on point. Great environment
I didn't eat here, but I thought it a great place for a quick happy hour or to watch the game.
Michaela was hands-down the BEST bartender! Her energy, personality, and attention to detail made the whole experience unforgettable. Every drink was perfectly crafted, and she kept things moving smoothly even when it was busy—all while staying upbeat and genuinely friendly. She made everyone feel welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. If you’re lucky enough to get Michaela as your bartender, you’re in for an amazing experience. 10/10 recommend! 🍹✨ Been coming for years! Great bartenders Taylor, Frenchy, Amanda, and Michaela!! Great atmosphere! ☺️
Great atmosphere with a fun, laid-back vibe. The drinks were well-made, the music was on point, and majority of the staff are friendly and attentive. Perfect spot to unwind with friends or start a night out. Will definitely be back! A few ladies do need an attitude check, but want best service go to Taylor, Frenchi, Abby

Great time playing pool. They also have pro beer pong.
Very cool laid back local bar. Fair priced drinks, and great beer and bourbon selection. Pool table and beer pong offered. 👍🇺🇸💯 🥃
This is a good place to have a drink. It does not get crazy loud or out of control like some bars. The service was lacking due to only one person working the bar. But hay, you can walk to the bar and order a drink.

i LOVE flock, however, the blonde girl that usually works at the end of the bar is so rude. my first encounter with her was a few weeks ago on my best friends birthday. we had waited 10-15 minutes to get served a drink and when asking for a dressed beer she replied with “if it’s draft i’m not doing that. it just makes a mess,” in the worst attitude i’ve ever seen a bartender have. (if you tilt the cup the other way and don’t get salt IN the beer it wouldn’t be a mess!) thankfully we wanted a bottle so we blew it off. she pretty much ignored us the rest of our time there even tho we were sitting right in front of her. the second interaction was last night, i was waiting in “line” for 15 minutes or so and was about to order when a guy cut me off, pushed me to the side, and jumped ahead, i looked at her and mouthed the words “i was here first but okay” hoping to make light of the situation and that’s when she backed up, stopped what she was doing, and yelled out “there is no firsts here” and visibly scoffed and waved her hands at me. i wish you could see and understand how nasty this girl sounded and the facial expressions she gives her customers. we didn’t order anything and just left. would’ve been at least a $50+ tab (and good tip!) that they missed out on.

Good joint, just at times can have bad/slow service regardless of the amount of occupants within the facility.
When you walk into a facility and see a cotton plant, it's a no for me. Update:You have me confused with someone else. The signage on the door about the dress code and the plant was an instant turnaround. Please don't lie anymore. The two of us went next door for great food and drinks. Just take the race's gesture out so everyone can feel comfortable.

This bar mistreats people. I panned from the bar because one day, when the bartender was happy to serve me many drinks to make money until I felt unwell, I did the right thing and went to the restroom to throw up I don’t know where is the wrong thing in that Such a bad attitude, and they should watch what is illegal happening in the restroom instead
Disabled Veteran here (Marine) let me stay this was only my second time at this establishment but 0 out of 10 experience. I was denied entry with my service dog (golden retriever) after seeing one there the week prior. I apologized once denied entry by the Lady at the front (yes she had glossy eyes and alcohol on her breath) and stated “I didn’t know they weren’t allowed. I’m sorry” I said. She then replied with “oh they are allowed but they have to be service dogs.” I then told her “oh I’m a Marine and he is a service dog”. She then stated “well I don’t care. I don’t believe you.” I lightly brush it off and say “I get it I do have all his paperwork tho if you need to see it” she replied with “ Since you wanna keep arguing, I’ll just go inside and call the cops” and she left. I asked the other people around me that we’re outside waiting to get in if I done something wrong And they replied with “nah man she’s usually pretty chill but to be honest tonight she’s tripping you didn’t even say anything.” Still not really sure what I did wrong but definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody if they treat everybody like that. Thanks for my service I guess.
I have been an avid enthusiast of the nightlife for some years. I visited this bar as the nightlife in Corpus Christi suffers from an apathetic socio economic segregation inherent in its identity. I visited on a Monday, and was treated rather coldly when I inquired to use the pool table. I was informed it was “broken”. I asked for a Pottsville and sat drinking it quietly, and slowly. I amused myself drawing right triangles and felt at home with the graduate students who brought their laptops and work with them. I went to the restroom and when I returned the bartender had poured out my beer and my notes were in the hands of an intoxicated and latent patron, enthralled more by my beauty than mathematical prowess. I was given another beer, and more paper.
I want to start with saying this is not a review on the establishment itself. It’s a review on the employees Michaela, Tyler, and Abby. This makes me really sad to have to write as I’ve been coming here regularly for a while now. I LOVE the flock bar and am honestly just so devastated and appalled at how I was treated there last night (new years eve) by the bartenders working. Michaela, Tyler, and Abby were all completely intoxicated behind the bar. They were trying to serve drinks but were too intoxicated. I was standing quietly with my friend just waiting for their drinks with them at the end of the bar. Michaela then drops off his drinks after taking 30+ minutes to even say a word to us. She gives us the drinks and turns to me and looks me in the eye with so much hate and disrespect & says “oh we hate you here.” “You’re the most annoying person & you order the most annoying drinks” I just apologized and said I just love the way y’all make my drinks they’re always amazing I’m sorry, she then follows that up with “we just hate you here and you’re honestly so rude and inconsiderate for ordering those drinks here”. For reference, my usual is a French 75. I have given so many people recommendations for this bar solely for how amazing this drink is and the staff. So hearing this was very extremely hurtful. She rolled her eyes and then walks away with nothing but HATE in her eyes for me. I say let’s leave to my friends but they wanted to speak to a manager, so we spoke to Tyler. He’s sitting there speaking very kindly saying he’s so sorry he can’t do anything to make it right but he can comp our tabs. He walks away and as he’s “comping our tab” he is laughing and hugging and talking about us in the meanest manner to this same bartender (Michaela). Still silent just standing at the end of the bar wanting to leave, Abby then walks over and unprovoked YET AGAIN she turns to me looks me in the eyes and says “we’re busy babes” and rolls her eyes and walks into the freezer. Michaela then walks over and drunkenly tells us “we’re kicked out” and walks back falling all over. We still are just standing here quietly not saying a word to them like we haven’t all night. Tyler comes back with a completely different attitude and says he comped my friends tab. My friend who’s tab I would not have even been on if I had ordered, she then tells Tyler that he forgot my boyfriends tab. He then tells us and points at my boyfriend saying “he doesn’t matter right now”. Tyler is focusing his attention on my friend and not even giving me the time of day, the person who was extremely mistreated unprovoked by him and his staff. He then says “I got the whole story and you’re drunk pointing (directly at me) so yall have to leave” …..This was far from the truth and that is a fact because I had zero plans of drinking, and if I did, the bartenders only pay attention to certain people (men) and were taking 30+ min and ignoring my friends at the side of the bar near the patio. So no, I was not drunk, and I didn’t even have a tab or try and order a drink what so ever. I asked for the name of an owner or head manager and Tyler refuses to give me and my friends any names what so ever. We leave and that’s that. This is not Michaela’s first time treating me and my friends this way and we usually brush it off, but seeing as to how intoxicated she was behind that bar and knowing that’s the reason she treated me this way I have to say something about it now. Needless to say, my friends and I where devastated having this happen at our favorite bar in Corpus Christi, amazing bar ruined for us by 3 truly mean and cruel people.
Flock’s Bar earns a one-star review solely because of the behavior of their bartender, Mikayla. What should have been a normal night at a place we have regularly supported turned into one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing bar experiences I have ever had. Mikayla verbally assaulted my girlfriend completely unprovoked. Without any prior interaction or conflict, she drunkenly told my girlfriend that she hated her and accused her of being inconsiderate. There was absolutely no reason for this behavior, no misunderstanding, no exchange beforehand. It came out of nowhere and was shocking, especially coming from someone who is supposed to be a professional representative of the business. It was painfully obvious that Mikayla was intoxicated while working. Her speech, behavior, and attitude made it clear she was in no condition to be serving customers, let alone interacting with regulars. Watching a bartender who is clearly drunk on the job is unacceptable and unsafe, and management allowing this reflects very poorly on the establishment as a whole. To make matters worse, her service was blatantly biased. She only paid attention to male customers and treated women with clear hostility. As a man, I feel the need to warn women to avoid both her and this bar altogether. No one should feel uncomfortable, disrespected, or targeted simply for being there. This experience completely ruined what used to be a place we enjoyed coming to. It is extremely disappointing to lose respect for a bar we have supported for some time, all because of one employee’s reckless and unprofessional behavior. Unless serious changes are made, I would not recommend Flock’s Bar to anyone.
Disappointed and disgusted over how Mikayla treats people and drinks behind the bar while bartending
