Thai Sticky Rice

Very quick and delicious lunch. I was looking at last minute lunch options but didn't want anything heavy. The seaweed/squid salad mix was fresh and hit the spot. Thank you!

Best service I've had. They have generals chicken now and it's amazing, just not on the menu yet. Extra spicy is actually a good extra spicy. Good portion sizes for the price.

This place is soooo good they make you feel at home. Service is incredible they even remember what you had last time and they ask if you what the same thing or want to try something new. They're always happy and will answer you/explain to you any questions you have about things from the menu. Food is amazing from the noddles to the sushi. Sushi is fresh is so delicious. This is our new favorite place.

Went for lunch, had the lunch special with general tso chicken. The pricing was great for what you get and the dish was nothing short of amazing. Crispiest chicken I've had at an Asian restaurant. Our waitress was very attentive and kind, will be going back!

I have only ever orders to go, but have never been dissatisfied. The Firework Roll is a favorite! My boyfriend does not like sushi, so he ordered the teriyaki beef and noodles. I am perfectly fine with and will continue calling orders in and picking up.

This is the ((Thai, Basil Fried Rice)) we added chicken and a side of dumpling sauce. This dish has a burst of flavors from sweet to savory. I didnt really care for the egg but my second take on this would be added shrimp along with the chicken, extra limes, and a side of dumpling sauce. The price we paid was $20 for the plate without shrimp or extra limes. I promise you wont be disappointed by the flavor. As for the portion size, it doesn't compare to other places where as one plate could feed 2 average individuals. That being said the flavor 100% makes up for the portion size compared to other plates just to fill your stomach..

Driving in Dallas and my sister lives in Calallen. I doubted the fact that Calallen would have good sushi and wow ask the sushi bar guy named Frank to make us some random roles and cannot be more impressed. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is an excellent restaurant I discovered on Google maps. I went around 3pm when there was no crowd. The waitress was very attentive and nice. I started off with the fried pork dumplings which was very tasty and the sauce to go with it was also very good. For my meal I had the red curry beef spicy style. It’s made with coconut milk. So it has a nice subtle sweetness to go with the heat and wonderful medley of flavors. The best curry I’ve had in the Corpus Christi area. My coworker had fried rice and a wonton soup which he said was very delicious. I will go back and try more varieties. I highly recommend this place!

I saw some reviews about the sushi but I say if you’re gonna go to a Thai restaurant, order Thai food. Im definitely gonna come back again and try the other Thai dishes like Pad Thai or their curry rice dishes. A bit pricey though but good portion sizes!

Great lunch stop. Started off with and order of egg roles. To and Tom Yum soup very good .(medium spicy) then very fresh suchi rolls in front the Redriver Roll🤩and behind the famous Philadelphia Rolls. And in the far back a delicious sea weed and cucumber salad. I will be returning. 😎

This place is so good that Im considering applying for a job here. The food is absolutely amazing, especially the yellow curry. Everything is so good that it's hard not to order the entire menu. And the service is absolutely incredible. There's no way to really explain it, so you'll just need to see for yourself :)

Excellent service, and amazing quality food. We are vegan and stopped here while passing through, and all of the options were fantastic. The chef went above and beyond by accommodating the Vietnamese bowl with veggie egg rolls in place of the non-vegan spring rolls, and the dish was fantastic. Our kids had the kids fried rice with no egg, and it was a huge hit. This place is great!

Hadn't been here in awhile but I'm glad I made it back. If you're from the area, then you've probably been here and enjoyed the cuisine. If you're new to the area or just visiting, this is one of NW Corpus Christi's hidden little gem. Friendly fast service, good food fast, and a great variety. Unfortunately, the entrance faces the west and with all the glass, the A/C system may not be sized properly because the establishment is very hot.

It took an hour from the time we got our drinks before they took our order. Then they forgot about us. When we finally got our food, an hour after that, the hot sushi was cold and the plate orders were wrong. Disappointing... because the food was normally great there, as was the service...

I have been a regular customer for the past year. All of my previous experiences have been amazing, until recently I had one of their new employees as a server who doesn’t seem to know what he is doing whatsoever. He seems bothered by taking my order. I ordered my food and I was brought the complete opposite of what I ordered, which was very frustrating. I needed refills and to be checked on, but I looked back at where he was and he was on his phone. Every other time I went in, I have had great experiences with the previous staff. They all take good care of my family and make sure to be on top of everything. But this guy is not like them. Very unprofessional and I truly want to ask for a new server the next time I’m in the restaurant if I end up with him.

When we walked in every table including the sushi counter were covered in dirty plates. The floor was strewn with napkins and straw wrappers. The service was OK but not at all knowledgeable about the menu. The drinking water was straight from the city top, unfiltered and terrible. The "sweet" tea wasn't. However, the sushi was good. Small consolation, considering. No one took the time to bus any of the tables or clean the floors. If we ever eat here again, carryout!

Went here for the first time and it was absolutely terrible…. Our waitress was rude and had terrible manners, the food was bland and undercooked, atmosphere was not great, and worst of all when I was walking to the bathroom I saw roaches in the back. 0/10 would not recommend

Love this place and my coworkers and I drive far to come eat here for lunch. Today was the worst our server messed up on our drinks,food and we weren't rude to her about it but it seemed like she was mad at us for her mistakes. When it was time to pay we got up and went to her at the register and she blew us off twice before we could pay. Love this place but she needs to get cross trained AGAIN!

Foods great Iv been more then once, the service was terrible. I went on a Friday night which at most places shield m should be busy. Well it did get very busy and just had one waitress to help all tables. Not good when you have to conserve water so you don't go empty while your eating because you know your waitress won't be back anytime soon.

I understand times are hard but regardless of the current state of the world, treating people how you would like to be treated is always a good rule of thumb. The staff and owner were rude and unhelpful. We purchased an order to-go that cost us a little over 90$! Only to find out we were given the wrong order (honest mistake, it happens) we live in Orange grove and had family from out of town. So I called up to the business and voiced that they handed us the wrong order and we are 35minutes from their location. The lady over the phone took my number and said they were busy and she would call me back with a refund, I never received that call so right before closing I called back only to be told by the same lady that previously told me I would receive a refund that the owner is now saying there is nothing on their end that they could do to resolve the issue. So I asked to speak with the owner in which he mentioned I could drive the 35minutes back to the location, bring back the food and we can figure out how to resolve it and then he hung up on me. I called back again and another employee answered. (Nice well mannered gentleman) I began to tell him I would not make it in time before closing and he mentioned that I could bring the food items the next day. I let him know that I would not make it to Calallen, unfortunately it is just not a daily drive for me. He however did apologize for the inconvenience and let me know he had no authorization to be able to refund me but was just relaying the message from the owner. It’s unfortunate cause we were loyal customers. (And maybe I wouldn’t be as disappointed but seriously we ordered $90+ worth of food and received fried rice and spring rolls) It just would have been nice to see the owner take initiative and responsibility to honor the refund that his employee stated we would receive. I really do hate to leave a bad review but hopefully this encourages the business to implement some changes especially with paying attention to details, communication, taking initiative and working out to resolve the customers needs.

Went here for the first time tonight from a recommendation of my family. Ordered, an appetizer and 6 sushi rolls. When we arrived to the place, we were greeted and I showed the lady my order. She then handed me my bags all tied up ready to go. We were staying 35 mins from this restaurant. When we got home. I opened all the bags only to realize I got nothing of what I ordered! All sushi rolls that I won't eat. Not to mention my sons food. We called the restaurant back and they knew they had made the mistake. The lady told us, call us back later after the rush and we will issue a refund. I tried the food that was given to us, because if we drove all the way back to restaurant and back home it would be over an hour again for us to eat plus the kids needed to eat something. That was our dinner, & we should have gotten the food that we ordered. I get mistakes happen, BUT this mistake should be fixed. I paid $100 for food I didn't even eat!!!! That is rediculous and absolutely unacceptable that this restaurant didn't take responsibility for their mistake. This is not right. They basically stole my money and gave us food that someone else ordered. Not right!!!!

Husband and I thought we'd try it out since the name change. The spring rolls were good, main dish not so much. Gravy in one dish was very watery, second dish was served with overcooked noodles and MAYBE 6 pieces of shaved chicken. THE PRICES ON THE MENU ARE NOT THE SAME AS THE FINAL CHECK RECEIVED. Each item is taxed and then the final total WAS TAXED AGAIN! Menu price on the spring rolls was $7.The check listed that item as $8.24. Same occurrence with the main dishes ordered. When the discrepancy was pointed out we were simply told by the server that he would bring it to the attention of management. If you go, LOOK OVER YOUR CHECK CAREFULLY. We will not be going there again.

ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FROM WHEN IT WAS OYISHI,LOOK AT THE DATES THE BAD ONES ARE FROM THE NEW NAME! It's south Texas they didn't seem to have the AC on probably trying to conserve energy, there's ceiling fans all over the place but they were off also. Easily over 80° degrees in there. Orders 2 rolls with some stuff taken out that I don't like, well they came with everything I has asked to be taken out. All they said was oh ok! Didn't offer to replace or anything. They asked if I wanted to to-go box since they noticed I had eaten like 2 pieces only. I have always come here before the name change and didn't have a single complaint but won't be coming back anymore.

I'm so irritated. I spent $35 on 2 sushi rolls and I wasted my money. I can't even finish my sushi. It's going wasted. It has such a strong Fish taste. Not in a good way either. This is disgusting. I can't finish it. I would like to have my money back on something I can't even eat. Now I'm stuck at work and starving.
