We ordered, drove up to the window, and asked if they could fill up my water bottle. The guy said no, they can’t bring in any outside vessels. We were initially disappointed but then he comes back a couple minutes later with a HUGE pitcher of water and fills our water bottle right outside the window. We love him. We were so thirsty. This man is a god. Get the kraut dog and give this man a dollar.

Food was very good, great quality and the menu has a great variety of options. Most of the employees were teenagers and I was impressed on how friendly and fast they were and how they went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied because I have been to other places where grown adults were working but behaved like children.

I was really surprised with AI taking our window order. It was so clear and easy to understand. Unlike human voices that sometimes are hard to understand and get the order wrong, "she" understood our order and got it right when she repeated it. We were impressed with the quality. She even practiced suggestive selling. Excellent!

Good for a quick bite - they have this new AI system in the drive-thru; have had some very minor issues with it, but overall it gets the order correct! If that system isn't to your liking, a person can still come over the intercom and assist you. I recommend this location.

I was controversial, I mean, it's a hotdog fast food place. I was pleasantly surprised! The food was amazing and the service was great and very quick! We ordered and had our food in 10 minutes or less, and it was hot and made to order. I'm suprised they were not busier with how good the food and service was!

Wienerschnitzel is awesome me and my family love it. They always pretty much always do a good job. I was kind of funny sometimes when it always happens that I order their chili cheeseburger sometimes they’ll forget it and when I ask for chili dog on a pretzel bun they won’t give me pretzel. They’ll give me regular after I came out of pocket, but other than that, I absolutely love them, great job

I've been going to this location for over a year now. Haven't had a bad experience, this location does get busy around lunchtime and at night but I've never had to wait too long. Also the new intercom AI is pretty cool, amazingly accurate even when you tell it to substitute an item on a meal.

First AI generated drive thru attendant I've experienced. Threw me for a moment. Food at Der Dog is as good as it always was( have eaten at one at least every time I come across it for 60 years). Friendly bot and real people in the drive thru .

Conveniently located, the disadvantage is the street noise if you want to eat on site. You can't have both. The dishes were prepared very quickly and the ones I have eaten so far have been very tasty.

I recently went through the drive thru taking along my dog for his last ride before being put to sleep for health reasons. They made it special (without knowing the situation) by asking if they could give her a treat. Just giving that extra love meant so much to me adding to one of her last memories. It is fast food and inexpensive but it is consistent and close by where I live. Thank you for being so friendly!

Drive-thru moved at a decent pace. The wife and I ordered four Junkyard dogs, two large chili cheese fries, and drinks. The wife got a speciality strawberry lemonade. The student discount really brought my bill down from $34 to $27. I am glad I took advantage of it! The Junkyard dog was delicious! I love the fries, and the pan fried onions on top. This is a very delicious hot dog. The chili cheese fries were crispy and piping hot! The wife had no complaints either. Straight up delicious! Tried the wife's strawberry lemonade and it tasted very refreshing! 10/10! Would recommend this Wienerschnitzel in the Corpus Christi area! Nice staff, good people, and they're very helpful!

The Junkyard Dog is my personal fave. It's basically a whole meal without actually eating a combo. Since I don't ever finish my fries in a combo meal this selection is perfect. A few fries in the hotdog does the trick! 😋

Amar has to be the best customer service worker I have ever encountered. It was 7:30 pm when I drove through and he helped me find deals to lower the cost of my order. I know it’s a little thing but he didn’t have to care, but he did and was actually happy to do so. He was smiling and only answered with a “oh yes ma’am” and “please have a great night ma’am”. I truly left shocked. Really great service.

I'm happy to say that I was highly satisfied. Was first time trying even though husband and I had talked about it several times. Well on Christmas eve we was left not much choice and even though there was about 15-20 cars ahead of me the wait was pretty reasonable, the employees were very pleasant and food was quite tasty.

The service was fast and the food was fresh and tasty. We ate outside and it was pretty nice. Overall no complaints and this place is one of my favorite fast food restaurants of all time.

Wienerschnitzel is a CC classic - but don't expect to lose weight eating here. My fave is the Polish sausage sandwich, and their lemonades with real fruit are just the best in town. The line usually goes fast and the parking lot is rarely full so you can often chow down in the lot to make this hot fast food. One criticism I have is that they need to consider having less plastic in terms of their drink cups and straws. Fast food doesn't have to be environmentally challenging as McDonald's is now demonstrating.

This iconic/unchanged/unfazed by Hurricane Celia place at the corner of Carroll Lane & SPID (LEXINGTON AVE) has been around for ever. My Mom & I ate some of these delicious dogs back in 1965 when I started 1st grade at the brand new Kostoryz Elementary. This was the start of the new Southside development in this area. The street intersection at their corner had a huge white x. I was told that people had died at that spot in a horrible accident.

I grew up on this I love it and I wish there was one in Houston so I don't have to drive 4 hours to Corpus Christi or 4 hours to Dallas Texas but I'm always on the move to both places and I always stop always always

The food came out quickly and everything was made correctly. The dogs were slightly smaller than expected but the taste was great! My partner asked the cashier the difference between two of the dogs, but the cashier did not seem to know the difference. The only downside to this place we experienced was the issue of getting blocked in after parking and that our cashier didnt seem very knowledgeable or interested to take our order. :( Aside from that, though, everything turned out amazing! I would recommend eating here if you don't feel like cooking at home.

I recently ordered the family pack and told them no cheese on chili dogs 3 times and they gave me chili cheese dogs, I hate cheese on them so basically I discarded them. We live out of town and by the time I realized, we were on the freeway. It was disappointing.

There's a huge sign on the side of the building that says chili cheese dogs are 2 for $4. What the sign didn't say is that if you don't ask for the sale price you will pay regular price but you won't know that until after you have paid. When I asked about it, while waiting for my food, the manager said they only give lower price to those who ask. Not even a sorry or let me fix it for you this time. I know it's not a lot money but somehow send wrong way to do business.

After waiting in the drive through for approximately 25 minutes (which is way too long for 'fast food"), I observed the kitchen worker make a sandwich with BARE HANDS picking up the bread and 'smashing' if down to wrap. Another worker was working with one gloved hand. I'm pretty sure the food service video teaches that in the presentation.

I dont see how those employees can work in that small crowded space. I came in late on a business trip and I remembered this restaurant from years ago when I used to watch The Corpus Christi Ice Rays. They were always good and the food was fast. Well, I went about 10:30 on a Sunday night and it was kind of sketchy. I was by myself but I wouldn't have got if I had my family with me. The only reason I didn't leave was as soon as I got there a car blocked me and I couldn't leave. So I ordered and went back to my hotel. I KNEW...I KNEW...the food was NOT going to look like the photo. Any rocket scientist could have told you that...but WOW, this wasn't even in the ballpark. The dogs were crushed and it looked like they made them with anger. It wasn't closing time when I showed up (I always make sure of that) but I had to take a picture and sent it to my kids. We all had a good laugh...well. I ate the food, but I'll probably wait another 15 years to go back and eat there. I heard they're opening one in the valley, if the quality is anything like the one's in Corpus I'll give it a hard pass.

Took too long. Looking in the window seeing staff standing around doing nothing. 1 person using gloves to remove hotdogs from water the no one else was wearing gloves. Girl apparently could not hear us when we ordered. Had to repeat my orders 3 or more times. Ordered 2 large waters which we were charged for tasted like dirty dish water.

Google says open til 2 they apparently closed at 1 tonight... This is by far the worst place to go to. I cannot speak for the day shift but I have had numerous ridiculous experiences is experiences with the night crew. The food is always poorly put together. One time my bag was soaked in relish when I only ordered chili cheese items. Upon expressing my disgust I was met with very rude comments and remarks. Tonight for instance my order was completely wrong. Although I knew better I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. After arriving home from a long night of work I then realised their error. I then went back to the store and was told that they would do nothing about it they obviously do not care their customers and are more concerned about how they entertain each other by clowning around in the kitchen all night.

The employee Chris slammed the window in my face without saying sorry for the wait or anything to me. We had been waiting for 20 minutes and I had to knock on the door really loudly since every single worker again looked at us several times but didn't say anything. This girl named Analisa came to the window finally! I told her that my family and I have been waiting for awhile and we weren't even told I'm sorry. She then said "okay" then slammed the door right in my face again went to go talk to another worker for awhile, came back opened the door without saying a word and started messing with a register. I asked her what's going on? Are you going to take my order? She said yes and I said ok I didn't know you didn't say anything or apologize still. She closed the door again and someone who didn't identify himself as the manager came to the door said his name was Efrain and did not apologize when I started explaining the situation to him. He actually just laughed at me! I saw the other employees in the background were laughing too! I was so extremely frustrated and irratated my family and I left. Whoever owns/manages this place needs to realize the night time employees you hired lack basic social and customer service skills. If they don't want to work or even be polite to customers they need to be reprimanded. Especially because they are driving away paying customers

This location needs to be shut down or all the late night closing employees need to be fired..not retrained..but Fired!..Managers Alex, Luis, and Efrain are some of the rudest most incompetent I have ever spoke with..It's no wonder the late night employees think they can do whatever they want..they ignore you when you go to front window especially. They walk away during conversations with no apologies. They feel very brave in groups laughing at you, behind close doors of course. Most of them should be drug tested cause they seem under the influence of something in their appearance and speech at times. They make mistakes on orders all the time and pretty much throw the items back at you when you return for them..Again No Apologies..Who ever decides the hiring here needs to be fired and who ever in corporate decides who manages this location as well. I ordered a #2 which consists of 2 Corndogs. They read my order back to me 4 times. Had me wait 10 mins while I was the only customer being served. They gave me 2 Chili Dogs. I despise chili.

They got our order wrong 3 times. We spent $20.00 and they still didn't give us what we wanted. First they forgot our chili dog. Then the forgot one of our drinks, then they gave us the wrong drink, and finally we opened our food and they had put a handful of ice cold cheese on top. This was our first time ordering food from this wienerschnitzel and it will be our last. The service was so bad and the kitchen so chaotic that I'm not even sure if this food is safe to eat. Soooo slooowwwww!! At least 6 people "working" but only 1 person was actually working. Then the rude girl handed me my food after waiting at the window for 10 mins and said no words to me at all, and slammed the window shut. The money had already exchanged hands and she did not want to take blame for her mistakes. Her attitude was uncalled for. Very disappointed with the level of customer service we received tonight.

Ive always LOVED Wienerschnitzel! However this one treated us like scum! Said the restroom is for employees only but then proceeded to say it was under construction but also said it's just for them to use! I fell like since we aren't the same race we were treated like trash on the street! The female at the window was very unprofessional so that facility on Carroll dr will never see any of my money so I will patron the other locations even if it's out of my way! Also you could tell they don't clean very often, the vent was being cleaned as we were there being treated bad and it looked like years of buildup so probably would have gotten poisoned or something!! If the Management was present at the time they sould be placed it training or released of duty!

Pulled up to the drive-through so that I could try Wienerschnitzel for the first time and was greeted by an AI bot over the drive-thru speaker to take my order. After trying to engage with it to get a real human to take my order, I had no success so I put my car in reverse and drove away.
