Was recommended by a friend to visit a Guachinches restaurant and this was the closest one while staying in Costa Adeje. Pal Choso had a whole array of authentic, delicious Canarian dishes which was perfect for sharing! The service was excellent and vibes were spectacular. I highly recommend finishing your meal with the Tarta De Queso Manchego as the dessert- you will not be disappointed!
I have few dinners there's. Servis is generally very friendly but sometimes you could feel strange vibe, but I believe everyone could have bad day :) Food was good, well made, fresh, full of Tenerife specials. Wine - definitely recommend to try. After all I believe I would definitely recommend to visit that place. I will come back for sure.
A truly wonderful and authentic experience at Guachinche Pal Choso! The food felt genuinely homemade, fresh, and deeply Canarian. We enjoyed a variety of local starters: grilled goat cheese, tasty salchichas (local sausages), and chicken croquettes. The chickpea and chicken stew was full of flavor, and the grilled chicken – even just half a portion – was more than enough for a full meal. Everything was accompanied by fresh bread and a selection of delicious local sauces in several varieties. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and homely, making us feel like guests rather than customers. What made the visit even more special were the off-menu recommendations from the waiter, including a choice of fresh fish and local beef steaks that the chef prepares to your liking. A perfect spot to enjoy real Canarian hospitality and flavors!
Me and my boyfriend were on the hunt for croquettes when we stumbled across this restaurant, very lively atmosphere with live music so we decided to go in. Even though it was a very Spanish speaking restaurant the staff made us feel welcome! They offered us free bread and dips upon entry and the croquettes… were THE BEST CROQUETTES IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!! Will be back asap Thankyou very much
Lovely restaurant, a bit different from most of the tourist spots. It wasn’t full of British tourists (a positive) and does quite a local menu. Very busy when we were there which made the service a little slow but it didn’t really matter as there was a good atmosphere. If you want pasta, pizza and fries then this isn’t the place for you but if you’re looking for something a bit more local with different tasty food then it’s worth a try.
We visited 3 times over our 1 week stay! While visiting from the UK, we wanted to try something we wouldn’t get back home. This place serves absolutely delicious traditional food and wine from Tenerife, along with an amazing atmosphere and incredible staff! Our favourite dishes included the goat’s meat, croquettas, and the incredible bread and dips to start. Don’t miss out on the local wine served as well! And the desserts were incredible too! Price wise it is also extremely affordable! Each of the 3 nights we ordered 3-4 of the sharing dishes, a litre of wine, as well as the bread and a bottle of water and it never cost more than £50. Highly recommend this spot if you are visiting from abroad and want to experience some of Tenerife’s culture through food!
This is my idea of Tenerife culinary experience perfection. It feels traditional. The Latino music matches the vibe and pace of the restaurant perfectly. Service is fast, helpful, smily and conversational. The English of its South American waitresses is superb. Food is offered tapas style, you can try a lot and not break the bank. The varieties on offer are heavily influenced by the canaries. I ate goat, rabbit, pork, chicken, varieties of goats cheese and even a sweet corn Maude based dessert. Excellent value for money. I would argue the large outdoor seating area has a touch of class attached to its exciting food offerings.
Everything was excellent and the price was great! Fantastic and very good. Great people and good service! Best in Tenerife so far
Family of five for dinner. Staff were wonderful and the food was very well prepared. Everything was perfect and we had a lovely evening. Great value for money too. Will definitely be back.
We had a special family dinner at Pal Choso on the last night of our holiday in Adeje. We told a table in the outdoor area, which is well shaded and cosy. The food is hearty and delicious. It felt …
The service has mixed ratings in some reviews, and indeed a few waiters have a rather peculiar manner, but none of them were rude. We were served efficiently and pleasantly, and they helped us choose dishes in a way that avoided unnecessary costs. We had a more than filling meal consisting of potatoes, baked cheese, sausages, stuffed mushrooms, and croquettes. We paid 42 euros for two people. All the dishes were good and served warm.
We asked for a place for authentic food in Tenerife and we was told about Pal Choso. Now I can pass on that recommendation for a place to go when people visit. The food is full of taste, just great tasting food. I can't imagine anything on the menu being disappointing. Service is quick and attentive. Food did not take long at all once ordered and we was seen to regularly. The only issue that it is out of the way. If you don't hear about it you will probably never come across it.

The place itself is nice and has a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the grilled chicken was raw. When I mentioned this to the waitress, he argued that it was supposed to be that way, but to my knowledge, raw chicken is not safe to eat. The salad was okay, and the goat meat was edible. Please make sure to check your bill carefully — we were twice charged for dishes we did not order, and the staff even argued with us about it. The service was terrible, with rude and unprofessional staff. Overall, nothing special and very disappointing in terms of food quality and service.

We had a very unpleasant experience here and felt clearly taken advantage of as tourists. We ordered an entrecôte de ternera (beef ribeye). What we were served was 100% pork, not beef. The meat color, fat structure and cut made this obvious. This is not a “local variation”, it is simply the wrong meat. When it came to the bill, things got even worse. Several items were charged twice, and the total suddenly exceeded 70 €, even though the menu prices initially looked quite reasonable. It strongly felt like they assumed we wouldn’t notice because the bill was written in Spanish. Only after carefully checking and confronting them did the issues become clear. This was not a misunderstanding, but a serious attempt to overcharge. Mistakes can happen, but serving the wrong meat and inflating the bill is unacceptable. Be very careful, check your food and check your bill line by line if you decide to eat here.
The service here is clearly a mess. There were only four tables, yet they forgot the bill we asked for—20 minutes long. Then they also forgot the beer we ordered, which never arrived but somehow ended up on the wrong table. The staff also shows no attention to the customers whatsoever. You don’t feel welcomed, and you certainly don’t leave with the feeling of having had a pleasant evening. As for the food: we ordered the ribs, which had no flavor at all—completely bland. A real shame for the animal that was slaughtered for this. We also had the grilled chicken, which was just as tasteless and even had a fridge-like flavor. I’d guess that cleanliness in the kitchen is below standard, just like the service. The fries were fresh, but badly fried and oily, served in a greasy little pan. We also ordered white and red wine. The red was drinkable, but the white wine was yet another zero. We’re never coming back here, and I’d advise others not to come either.
The food was not prepared properly, and the staff had a very bad attitude. We were served raw ribs and steak, and when we complained, they blamed us for not speaking Spanish. The restaurant was not busy at all, yet the staff pretended not to understand Englishbamd didn't give us any service. It wasn't until I asked for a discount due to the poor service and incredibly subpar food that they started to take us seriously. Yet, they refused and blamed us.
