Llegamos sin reserva y aun así nos buscaron un hueco! La comida increíble, el mejor arroz que comimos en mucho tiempo!! Y las gyozas caseras… riquísimas. El trato del personal es excelente, y nos encantó la ubicación, en un paseo frente al mar. Volveremos!!

El arroz caldoso con carabineros muy sabroso y bien servido, espectacular. Amplia carta de vinos. Lo mejor fue la atención del personal, de entrada nos trajeron agua para el perrito sin haberla pedido. El entorno suma, es un placer almorzar frente al mar, y el servicio muy limpio.

Restaurante con una terraza muy agradable al lado del mar. La comida estaba buena, el producto es de buena calidad y los platos bien presentados. No probamos el arroz porque pedimos todo en plan picoteo. De precio no es barato, pero es lo normal para los restaurantes de esa zona y para la calidad de la comida y el servicio, que fue muy atento en todo momento.

Un lugar increíble para comer. Nosotros estuvimos cenando en pareja, el trato fue increíble y el ambiente también. Las almejas, exquisitas. La lubina y el rodaballo estaban buenísimos. Pedimos de postre el sorbete de mojito y la tarta de manzana, claro ganador la tarta, riquísima. Además las cantidades son muy generosas, y el precio totalmente ajustado a la calidad y el sitio. Muy recomendable.

La comida estaba muy buena era arroz umami y solomillo (creo) y entrantes varios estaba todo de 10, el precio también pero de vacaciones es lo que toca así que todo perfecto. Lo único la piña colada no era muy disfrutable ya que llevaba más alcohol

Excelente sitio en La Caleta, fuimos recomendados y la verdad fue un acierto. En general no es un restaurante barato, pero de vez en cuando merece la pena venir.

Muy buena comida con vistas espectaculares. Nuestra camarera Andrea fue muy amable y atenta. 👌🏽

This is a great restaurant all around. The location is perfect for watching the sunset. The decor is lovely too. The food was delicious, every bite! And the service was perfect. The staff are all friendly and work hard to make sure you fully enjoy your meal. We made sure to book again before we left as we knew we had to come again before we went home.

I had such an amazing experience here. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous (we had a table outside right next to the pathway) - the food was fenomenal, their homemade fig jam is top! We also had paella (DE-LI-CIOUS) and a tenderloin steak, cooked to perfection a medium rare. They were kind enough to change the side dish to one to my linking. Their wine selection was great and their staff was very friendly and attentive. I especially enjoyed their apple cake!

We had dinner at Salitre on our very first night in La Caleta. Even though it was close to closing time, they were really kind and managed to serve us. The food was so delicious that we came back another evening to dine there again. Honestly, the food is out of this world – everything tastes amazing and the service felt truly top notch. Sara, you rock! Keep up the great energy, and we hope to come back and eat here again soon. The photos are from the two evenings we ate there – our absolute favorites: garlic prawns & octopus. 🫶

This is for a very special occasion like an anniversary dinner and to have amazing food, service and stunning views to La Gomera at sunset! The seafood is fresh, the meat offers for non-seafood eaters is wonderful. Definitely have the local Tenerife cuisine because it's done so well at Saltire. It's pronounced Sal-ti-re, meaning saltiness from the sea. If you can, ask for a table at the front overlooking the balcony and around 8pm because you watch the sunset as you dine and enjoy the stunning views of La Caleta. The service is impeccable! Sara is the lovely maitre-de that welcomes you to your table but we had her as our waitress all night and was just so delightful! An unforgettable dining experience with delicious food, service that's done right, and a sunset coming from the movies. You will have a great experience dining here.

Wonderful restaurant! I will just leave the photos that will speak for themselves. The food is fresh and delicious. After trying several other restaurants in Tenerife I can appreciate this one indeed . 1 photo ceviche tuna , delicious; 2 photo homemade fishcakes; 3 photo fresh zamburinas; 4 photo the fish and seafood paella cooked to perfection .

Lovely meal! As a fisherman from the North East of Scotland I appreciate good quality, fresh fish. Fantastic mussels in tomato sauce for a starter. My wife and I both had the turbot for the main course, cooked to absolute perfection and lovely Mediterranean styled vegetables to accompany. Staff were great too. We have two kids so the restaurant is very child friendly. If you are looking for a great meal with a great view you will not be disappointed.

Simply fantastic place. After having gone to another nearby restaurant for years and feeling like it was going downhill, we decided to try here and how glad we were. I kindly requested a table with a nice view and was given one right on the front. The food was fabulous, especially the octopus which I had to start (although came with a big bed of mash potatoes and was big enough to be a main). I got Turbot for main and my wife sea bass, I had never had turbot before, always put off by the price, but here it was very reasonable. I didn't love it, but that was my personal taste and no fault of the restaurant. When I return, I would instead order multiple items off the smaller plates section, such as the different varieties of prawns etc. Cannot wait to return to this simply fantastic place. I would recommend to anyone wanting a special meal in a beautiful location.

Casual but charming seafront restaurant with outdoor dining (if you have a reservation). We went for the first sitting of the evening around 6.30pm as we like to eat early so didn’t need a reservation. We were seated outside, had a fantastic sea view and it was lovely! Of all the times I’ve been served bread and mojo, Salitre has the best blend - fragrant, complex and not too viscous. We had the tuna starter as oysters were off the menu unfortunately. We also tried the anchovies and shared the black risotto for our main which was rich with the flavour and texture of squid. By the end of the meal we had charcoal smiles from ear to ear. All-in-all, an unexpectedly reasonably priced romantic November night. PS. If you’re lucky enough to be in La Caleta during a full-moon book an early dinner at Salitre after a sunset drink and dine outside in the moonlight no matter the time of year.

La comida está muy bien, se nota que el producto es fresco. Las almejas están carnosas y tiernas, pero la ración es bastante escasa para mi gusto. El resto de platos genial. Enjoyed our visit and the restaurant, the service and atmosphere were very good. They had a great musician playing some really lovely music. Some of the food was nice but l found some dishes such as the paella disappointing.

Nice place on the strip. We had a very enjoyable dinner, the highlight being the octopus with mash. I was sorry not to be able to return. The brothy rice with seafood was also enjoyed but so plentiful that there was no room for dessert. Would definitely return!

The food was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. The view was stunning. The staff were friendly, and one of the waiters even impressed us by speaking a few words in our native language (Romanian). Service was quick at first, but when we ordered dessert, they forgot to bring the menu, and it took so long that we almost gave up on having dessert altogether. When it finally arrived, it was a bit disappointing, but overall, the experience was still enjoyable.

Friendly staff and they have a lovely setting overlooking the sea. We had scallops to start that were a little overdone so were slightly dry and a little tough. Sea bass for main was good.

Grumpy service, no smiles. Frozen fish and squid , oven chips and limited wine list. Unexpectedly poor for a restaurant that was hard to book.

Queríamos probar este restaurante en la caleta desde hace mucho tiempo, nada más sentarnos nos ponen unos panes con mojos que nosotros no aviamos pedidos, probamos el gazpacho de mango donde el único mango que noté es el que le ponen de decoración, las croquetas de pescado anodina, hay que mejorarla, ricos y bien fritos los calamares, el arroz con lubina y langostinos(que no han limpiado las tripas) en paella rectangular también hay que mejorarlo no sabía a mar. Los postres hay que esforzarse un poco más, planos muy planos. Al pedir la cuenta me avían cobrado los panes con los mojos que no quise. El servicio es un poco caótico pero amable. Volveremos con las esperanza de encontrarnos una mejoría en los sabores de los platos.

Lovely place to have lunch in La Caleta. The food was good, though I had 10 clams for quite an amount and my husband got something served he had not ordered. Had to order drinks twice before they arrived. Not on the bill, but gives some frustration on a sunny day. We will come back to La Caleta but we will unfortunately visit another restaurant.
