ESPECTACULAR. El mejor restaurante de comida española de toda la zona. Platos con un sabor buenísimo y elaborados y presentados con un gusto exquisito. Todo lo que ponen el plato combina a la perfección. Fuimos a comer y nos gustó tanto que ya no fuimos a ningún restaurante más. El trato de Dori y Luis impecable, cercano y muy profesional. Se agradece sentirse como en casa en un entorno 99% enfocado al turista extranjero. Recomendado los pimientos con almogrote, el pulpo y el timbal de rabo de toro. Pero todos los platos, TODOS, están increíbles. Mis dieces para el Mayte 2.

Pedimos el arroz negro con pulpo, ¡estaba delicioso! De entrada pedimos los camarones Thai, ¡excelentes! ¡Sin duda, uno de los mejores restaurantes en los que hemos estado!

Estabamos de paso y nos hemos dejado llevar por las reseñas y ¡menudo acierto! Los langostinos thai y pimientos de padrón rellenos, además de sorprendido, nos han encantado. El arroz negro también muy bueno. La atención de un camarero llamado Javi de diez. Para repetir sin ninguna duda.

Estupenda opción por la deliciosa comida y en especial por la atención de Javi que te hace sentir como en casa. El entrante de pimientos de padrón rellenos con crema de almogrote está delicioso y la paella de mariscos es de las mejores que he comido. Ahh, no dejen de pedir la tarta de queso. Si quieren comer bien, en un ambiente agradable y con la mejor atención, el lugar es este.

Fuimos a cenar el viernes en grupo con compañeros de mi empresa y la experiencia fue excelente de principio a fin. La comida estaba riquísima, bien presentada y con muy buena calidad. El servicio fue atento, rápido y muy amable, siempre pendientes de que no nos faltara nada. Además, el ambiente fue perfecto: buena música y un espacio ideal para disfrutar y pasar un buen rato en grupo. Sin duda, un sitio muy recomendable al que volveremos. ¡Nos encantó todo!

Buenísimo el descubrimiento! El restaurante muy bueno, con sabores diferentes y comida muy rica. Hay que destacar maravillosa atención por parte de Javier, un chico super agradable que nos atendió de maravilla, al enterarse que la niña cumplía años le hicieron una sorpresa de un postre con vela y la música. Una experiencia de lo más agradable tanto en ambiente como para el paladar 🤤Totalmente recomendamos!

Sitio super acogedor a pocos pasos de la playa. Comimos paella de marisco y tarta de oreo. Ambas estaban buenísimas. La terraza es muy bonita y está ambientada con música agradable. El servicio bastante rápido y los camareros no podían ser más simpáticos. Especial mención a Javi, quien nos aconsejó y entretuvo en todo momento. Sin duda, un lugar al que volver.

Fantastic find. The food was unbelievable. I had the confit cod and my partner had the grilled tenderloin. We cleared our plates in just over 10 minutes. Service was exceptional, especially Javi. Very friendly, welcoming and all the staff have been lovely. We will certainly come again. The place is absolutely full so I highly recommend you book beforehand. A gem to have found, definitely worth the visit, you will not be disappointed.

We had an outstanding dining experience at Mayte 2 in Costa Adeje. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming – our waiter Javi took such great care of us throughout the evening. The food was simply excellent. We enjoyed Calamares, Herring with Granny Smith and parsnip cream with potato salad, tacos with rib fingers, and prawns with chorizo, each dish full of flavor, balance, and attention to detail. For dessert, the passionfruit pavlova was the perfect refreshing finish. As someone who has worked in professional kitchens for many years, including fine dining, I can truly say that the quality here is on a very high level. What made the evening even more special was when the chef, originally from Poland, came to our table. She shared her passion for cooking in such a genuine way – it really showed how much love and dedication goes into every dish. Highly recommended – a place where hospitality and great cooking come beautifully together.

Best restaurant in the area I have tried. Wanted to go there again before I left but they were closed on Monday’s. Must order the Gambas Alioli and Cheesecake. Wish I had a bigger belly to try more.

Such a great experience at this restaurant! Javi took care of us and was super friendly and fun the whole time. The food was amazing—I’d definitely recommend the Pimientos de Padrón (No. 4) to start, and for mains the octopus (No. 35) and the salmon (No. 33) were both delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was so good -starter , main , drinks … , it is worth the money and I really recommend the seafood paella it’s AMAZING and so TASTY! !! The staff is also so so so friendly and nice -in fact one of the friendliest people ever ! The price is also not expensive , it also comes in a large serving ! I will definitely come again next time

The restaurant is in a great location — slightly tucked away, but still right by the ocean, which makes for a peaceful atmosphere. The food was excellent! The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the seafood soup was absolutely amazing — one of the best I’ve ever had. Service was fast and efficient, with attentive waiters who were always around if you needed anything. Definitely worth a visit!

Me and my partner landed in Tenerife around 2 hours before going to this restaurant. We were absolutely starving and was looking for a place to satisfy our needs - and we certainly found just the place. Javi welcomed us in with open arms and recommended that we try the Padron Pepper (No.4 on the Menu). The decision to choose this dish was possibly the best decision of our Holiday as we gasped with astonishment as to how good the dish was. I am not a fan of peppers but we are going back for seconds tomorrow! To make things better, we tried the Paella dish and it was just as good! We rounded things off with a pepperoni pizza and…yes you guessed it, it was stunning! Get down here if you are in the area and Javi with his staff will not disappoint!

In Tenerife for one week but went twice, was just so good! Highly recommend the Thai prawns - best in Tenerife. Service by Javi is wonderful, real cheeky but charming as heck ;)! Lovely lovely lovely food!!!!! Went spent a lot each because we are pigs but you could definitely eat quite reasonably.

We came to Mayte 2 with my family purely because of the google reviews, where everyone were praising this restaurant. And yes, it is completely true! The food is delicious, and service is exceptionally good! Javier and Luis were so full of positive energy and great service manners! We ordered way too much, because we wanted to try as much as possible. Ingredients were very fresh and high quality, all the shrimps were full and “chubby”. Taste combination of the food is for my preference, sweet but with some freshness. Mojito also was well made! I will try to find time during my vacation to come once more to enjoy some coffee and dessert☺️

So happy we discovered this gem of a restaurant! The food was ABSOLUTELY incredible and the staff was AMAZING. We booked this restaurant for my mom’s birthday dinner and asked the staff to put the candles in one of the desserts, but they exceeded our expectations. They gathered all together to sing her „happy birthday”. It was very lovely of them and we felt thankful. We had an amazing evening here. Definitely recommend and thank you very much! ❤️

The place was so nice on our first visit we have booked an again tonight before we go home. We only came here after reading other reviews and it exceeded what I was expecting. The atmosphere was nice and chilled and there is also more than enough to choose from for vegetarians. The vegetable paella was the best I’ve ever had. The service is at a nice pace not to fast or to slow and waiters are very attentive. This is another hidden gem and so much nicer than some of the bigger restaurants nearby.

Restaurante limpio y bien organizado en la zona de la playa de Fañabé. Comida española, con toques orientales y fusión. Todos los entrantes son espectaculares. Muy buena la paella aunque mejorable. Pocas elecciones de postres.

Estuve cenando allí por el cumpleaños de mi chica y en cuanto lo supieron nos sacaron al terminar la cena un cacho de tarta de queso y nos cantaron el cumpleaños feliz, un detallazo por su parte. Pedimos zamburiñas y ceviche (platos los cuales estaban ricos pero tampoco exagerado, aparte solo salen dos unidades en las imágenes porque nos comimos el resto antes de hacer la foto) y luego recomendamos mucho las gyozas de pato y unos pimientos de padrón con Almagrote que nos recomendó el camarero y que estaban fuera de carta, muy ricos ambos. De postre compartirmos un tiramisú casero que estaba rico. También nos recomendaron un vino blanco de fuera de carta que nos encantó.

We ate twice here just because of the cod fillet, which is a 10/10. They have great sangria as well. The portions were smaller the second time we came here, which was a busier night. Big downside for me is that for the surf and turf and the mushroom risotto, they used some type of vegeta and not actual broth.

The service and the presentation of food were good but the taste wasn't. Almost every dish was either extremely salty or unnecessarily saucy. The peppers were filled with mayonnaise, which made it greasy and disgusting, and for the amount shown in the picture, it cost €14.

Starters (bread with local sauces & calamares), paella for 2, two jars of sangria and two espresso at 90€. 45€/person is a bit expensive compared to what paid for the same in other restaurants in Tenerife. Paella was good but had better ones in the area. The waiters are very nice and friendly.
