They really know how to cook! We were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of vegetarian options, which were not just an afterthought but occupied the center stage. All the dishes we ordered had an interesting twist, and the flavors were sophisticated and complex. The suggested local wine was also quite spectacular. Feel lucky to have made the choice to dine here. It was very nice of them to be open on the Christmas Eve. Finally, the location in old Entreves and the rustic and cozy interior are much classier than anywhere in Courmayeur.

Stunning food in a quaint, comfortable and friendly setting. Little out of the tourist trap area (though easy by bus) and therefore was populated entirely by Italians. It's run by a family who clearly care about their production, reputation and customers and they tripped over themselves to take care of me. The food was seasonal, fresh, delicious -- certainly the best Italian food I've had this week around Monte Bianco. I wish I had discovered it sooner so I could come back again.

In Feb 2012, We had a most romantic dinner here as we drove in through a snow storm. The town was mostly shut down as 6-10" had fallen that afternoon. My wife and I enjoyed the first plate of pasta so much that we ordered another pasta, then a third...and then a fourth(!) We were in Italian heaven and were basking in it. The chef was so intrigued as to what fools were ordering pasta after pasta that he came out to talk to us. We joked and laughed til the wine ran out. Wonderfully dark intimate local place full of intrigue. Hope to make it back some day.

Lovely ambience restaurant with excellent and fast service. The menu includes a good Val d'Aosta traditional list of dishes. The food was satisfactory, but didn't amaze us. Overall a good experience.

Have mixed feelings about this place. It's particular inside, old style with lots of interesting details. Food is simple, there is no big choice in the menu. It tasted ok, but nothing special. The most unpleasant part was the service - the waiter served us in such rush that it made an impression they couldn't wait to kick us out. I wouldn't go back to this place again.

We stopped by to buy some panini on our way to Monte Bianco Skyway which is about 400 meters away from this place, but my husband asked for prosciutto di Parma and he got one with prosciutto cotto and cheese, I asked for a tomato and cheese and I barely got two slices of tomato and one thin slice of cheese. The bread was chewy. The price was 8 and 6 euros. In my original review I had written "Mount Blank " instead of Monte Bianco and the owner' s original reply was that he did not know what is Mont Blank ....sorry about my mispelling but it does not change my true experience in this place!

Food is bland, not the italian experience, full of tourists, better take the time to go to town even by foot for better food. Dishes are far from what you would expect from the setting , menu and price. Left hungry and unsatisfied. .The tastiest item was the bread after requesting some butter. Service was great.
