Simplemente delicioso ir a comer aquí sus quesadillas son increíbles tienen opciones para todos los gustos y si vas temprano por la mañana tienen la opción de tacos de carnitas muy ricos también, sus aguas son naturales qué me encanta que casi no usan azúcar en sus bebidas super recomendable para ir a comer unas quesadillas a cualquier hora del día

Every single time we cruise to Cozumel we only get off the ship just to eat at the original poncho‘s backyard. The service and atmosphere is much better there than it is at the port location & the taxi is only $10 each way depending on what dock the ship is docked. If I could give more than five stars I definitely would! We’ve been there over 20 times.

It's very close to the cruise ship pier (2 min walk from the duty free shop). We have always gone to the original one downtown and happy to see the new one is just as tasty as the original

This pace is a hidden gem. Came here because a local at a different restaurant said this place would be better. There was no lies detected!!!!! This place is beautiful! From the atmosphere to the look and feel of the place, just beautiful. The worker here are by far the nicest most sincere people on the island. The food was some of the best authentic Mexican cuisine you pups have and for a reasonable price. Highly recommend checking this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped by for Lunch. This place was recommended. Food, Drinks, and overall atmosphere was great. I took a few pics of some things I ordered. Beef Fajitas, and chicken enchiladas. Bathroom was the best smelling and cleanest I've been. When Im back in Cozumel with stop by again. A+++

Ambiance: Mexican restaurant with beautiful views of the cruise ships/ocean with an upscale traditional/rustic style atmosphere. Their margaritas are large and hit the spot! The guacamole is a must order. We shared a few traditional Mexican meals - all were delicious! They offer free wi-fi and have an entire shop attached where you can get souvenirs and more. Friendly and fast service! Clean bathrooms and clean space. Great for tourists, families, and enjoying a nice meal in Cozumel.

Waiter was friendly and spoke English well. Menu available on tablet which was not offered to us initially. We were verbally informed of restaurant specials. Delightful atmosphere! Enjoyed the fish tacos. My husband enjoyed the beef special.

The special today : beef taco was delicious and flavorful. Chilli sin carne is great for people under animal protein restrictions. The coffee flan with egg nog is so delicious. The restaurant has great ambience and the entertainment with local flavor is perfect.

The original location of Pancho’s Backyard used to be packed every time we visited. Since less tourists seem to walk the entire strip of Downtown Cozumel it is a bit less busy but still just as charming. Its indoor/outdoor atmosphere fits the location perfectly and you will always have great service and lovely music. The food is good as well, if generally a bit touristy but it doesn’t matter because Pancho’s always makes you feel like you’ve come home.

Been to Cozumel many times and read the reviews of Pancho's and it was always on my list but we never seemed to make it. Well we finally made it and it did NOT disappoint. Food and service were incredible and the atmosphere was perfect. Just a great place! Try it, you will not be disappointed!!!

I had a wonderful Mothers day meal here. The food was fresh, splendidly plated. The frozen lime margarita was refreshing on a hot day. The fried ice cream was yummy. You walk through shopping area to get to the restaurant . The staff at the shops really weren't pushy at all. The seating area is gorgeous with fountains and statues. Carlos was my waiter and we chatted for a while. I will definitely return.

Fantastic food. The shrimp empeñadas were incredible. I had the best mango margarita I have ever had and the enchiladas were to die for. Staff were great and the atmosphere is enchanting. 100% recommend this place it's a must when in town.

Es un gusto encontrar un lugar con el sabor más parecido a chilangolandia, los huaraches de carnitas son mi hit pero los de pollo enchilado son una maravilla, hay aguas de sabores, quesadillas aunque estas no son tan Buenas y hay que aclarar que son de queso nada más, hay mucha variedad en productos, venta de cervezas y por si fuera poco, venden tamales estilo Ciudad de México. Un muy buen lugar si extrañas la comida del DF o si te gusta pero no la extrañas.

Love the Tamales. Tamales are not usually ready until after 7pm huaraches are wonderful too! Sometimes we order for take out. We usually stop by once a week! Me encantan los tamales. Los tamales no suelen estar listos hasta después de las 7 p. m. ¡Los huaraches también son maravillosos! A veces pedimos comida para llevar. ¡Normalmente pasamos una vez a la semana!

I really wanted to give this place five stars, because a lot of things are done right, but a few details knocked it down to a four. The enchiladas verdes were absolutely delicious, easily the highlight of the meal. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. That said, a couple things rubbed me the wrong way. Some of the chairs are borderline painful. There is a cushion on them, but the metal back made it one of the most uncomfortable seats I’ve ever sat in. The iced latte was a miss too. No ice at all, just lukewarm coffee that tasted burnt, which was a bummer. And then there are the prices. I get that it’s a prime location, but damn, we’re not in New York City. Great food, cool space, and kind people. But between the discomfort and the prices, it’s not somewhere I see myself coming back to.

The backyard and vibe is great. It is really nice and the service is great. The food is pretty good. I think it would be nice to have more options but the food we got was good. The pina colada’s were not my favorite, too milky imo. But it was good and fine priced a little on the higher side. The store that’s attached is very cool to look at and the employees ARE NOT pushy which is nice!

Pancho's is loathing abundance! Plenty of staff, but the "idea" of service is lacking. Location, location is the key. Drinks are good, not exceptional, particularly for U.S. pricing, but it's a port location what do you expect. Overall, I recommend if you're looking to just drink and chill on your surroundings. Very nice views!

My wife and I have come here 2 previous times while on cruises to Cozumel and loved the atmosphere and margaritas. Unfortunately, when we returned today, we were disappointed. Although the margaritas remained good and strong, the food quality declined significantly. Our chips were stale. The guacamole was tasteless and the salsa had no spice to it. My chicken fajitas were also bland and given the very expensive cost of everything, all the portions were very small. Come for the margaritas and the atmosphere and not the food. Very much for tourists only. The first question we were asked was what cruise ship we were on. Why should that matter?

Food was terrible. Cold, no flavor and expensive. Guacamole was not fresh and also had no flavor. Hostess was annoyed that we wanted to sit to eat and drink as she finished her conversation before acknowledging our presence. We ordered 1 coke, 1 margarita peach, guacamole and chips, and 2 lunch specials. Over $100.00 USD. Will not be back.

Stay away - tourist trap. I would like to start with the fact that people working there were super nice and friendly. The atmosphere is nice. However, this is the ultimate tourist trap - extremely expensive (for Mexico), very small portions, and tasteless food*. We left hungry and disappointed. *Only decent item on the menu was the margaritas. I don't understand all those 4-5 star reviews. In my experience, this is the first time a Google star rating is so misleading on such a scale.
