Excellent food, I was surprised they use mozzarella cheese but the birria tacos were great. Cool vibe and nice atmosphere, great service. It’s very small but I had no problem getting seated within a couple of minutes for lunch.

Super cute for dine in! Love the way they divided the seating area from the door! We had the Birria Ramen, it hit the spot. Dine-in includes gratis chips and salsa, and we're excited to come back to try their other offerings!

El Vagon Tacos was fantastic. The carne asada and birria tacos were both amazing. Flavorful, juicy, and clearly made with care. Our server was super welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Easily one of the best taco spots I’ve been to.

This was my second time going here and the tacos are just so good!!! We tried the shrimp and alambre this time. Hands down the best shrimp tacos I've ever had. Perfect texture, flavors, a great mix of heat and tangy, creamy sauce with an extra pop of citrus that I really enjoyed. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the agua frescas are delightful.

We visited from Austin, which itself full of Taco food trucks everywhere, but the tacos at this place is so good and flavorful that we were blown away and will surely come back again, specially the Birrias and Asadas were really delicious!! Must visit in Las Cruces !

5 stars all around! Bianca was my server and I couldn’t have asked for better service! She made me feel so welcome and taken care of… it was like going to your favorite family members house and getting the best meal of your life! I am so happy I stopped by. It wasn’t just a good meal, it was a great EXPERIENCE. Thank you again Bianca & cooking crew !! If you’ve been thinking about trying their food, don’t think about it and JUST DO IT!! You won’t regret it!! OH! And their salsa!!!! Is the best ever!!! I tried their birria and alambre tacos! + their rice. It was all AMAZING!!!

I’m rarely impressed and I ate here a few times before I posted my review, but I have to say they have not disappointed. the service and food is consistently amazing. If you want authentic tacos, This is a place to come. everything is really good, it’s clean, and even though the girls are always super slammed, they’re always smiling. I stopped for my first visit to El Vagon Tacos. I tried the birria ramen and the birria tacos. Both were absolutely excellent. Rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service made the meal even better. A big shout-out to Arely, who took such great care of me. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving something delicious and want to be treated like family. 🌮🔥

I dream about this place. When I tell friends about my trip to Las Cruces, I show them pictures of these tacos. We carried out, but the vibe was great while we waited. Super friendly folks. And the pineapple mango agua fresca was amazing. Locals, please keep this place going so I can try the rest of the menu on a future visit!

Wow, what a great place to eat at. The customer service was outstanding and the food was super delicious! We ordered the parrilla with carne asada (10 tortillas included) and chips and guacamole on the side. You dont have to order chips they provide chips with three different salsa. To drink we had the agua de Pina and strawberry. Highly recommend to stop by and try their food.

This little taco shop needs to be added into your rotation! The birria tacos were delicious, and I love that the sauce came on the side so that I could dip every bite into it. 10/10 The painted walls and decor make you feel like you are somewhere else on vacation.

This place is brilliant. EXCELLENT tacos. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere, iwith quick service. Will definitely make this a regular stop ….because the pizza box stuffed full of juicy tacos is genius.

Just passing thru and wanted some great tacos. Couple of locals said the BEST Tacos were at a place called El Vagon Tacos. When I pulled up with my son, the exterior look small and we had some doubts but when we went inside, the atmosphere was fantastic, the service was respectful and fast, and the freaking Tacos and Quesadillas were AMAZING🤩!!! The sauces and salsa were also magnificent and very well complement the tacos in quesadillas. Must Try “Ma and Pa” restaurant!!! 5 out of 5 🌟

Super Terrific Outstanding! Truly the best tacos I ever have eaten. And the service was amazing. Areal was my waitress and not only was she all smiles, she was proficient at her job. Everything is freshly made. Also, met the owner who decorated the restaurant and was making the food. What a great place where you don’t want to miss if you are in Las Cruces.

The tacos are 🔥, full of flavor and well priced. Ordered the keto tacos with birria and the nachos. 10/10 filling and will for sure be coming back. Staff is friendly and attentive while the venue is cozy for both friends or family

I got the birria tacos, beans, and a jamaica agua fresca. The tacos and drink were great, but the beans weren’t anything notable. Regardless, the service and atmosphere were great, I will be going again!

Delicious tacos with good sized meat portions. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by poor service. Not sure how 3 tables that walked in after me received their food before my two orders of tacos. Fun, colorful decor. Seating is limited and not suited for large parties, 4 and under is best.

Food was great. Birria tacos were a bit on salty side but were good. Only reason I gave it a 1 star was because I left the tip on my card on the card reader then noticed there was an additional $5 added automatically to my receipt. I couldn't do much about it since we live out of town and we were Las Cruces for a quimo treatment.

Was recommended by friends to try birra quesadillas because of hefty portions of meat and cheese so I did and when I got the order cheese was sprinkled and not melted meat portions were light too not happy do not recommend this at all I mean quesadillas are thick cheese melted to tortilla and this tortilla didn't even hold see pictures
