Went in with no expectations, came out a total fan. The atmosphere is very warm, and the food was incredible. My favorite was the salmon, they were prepped with the texture in mind, giving them a soft chew every bite. If you want high quality sushi, you might want to give this place a try.

Asagao is the best sushi restaurant in northern Westchester. There is a high attention to detail here and use of premium Ingredients. This is the kind of sushi restaurant with a lot of special and higher end cuts but even if you order from the classic menu high quality cuts are used.

ast night we went to Asago and as usual we were greeted with a warm greeting. The food was beyond spectacular. Chef Park and Chef Lee take so much pride in their work and fish is always fresh. The food at Asago is not just Japanese Food. It is actually a culinary adventure. The treasure Island roll and something roll were absolutely spectacular and so was the sushi. I just wanted to share this review because the place is fabulous and offers the best Japanese Food in Northern Westchester. Thanks for another great dinner

They are the best sushi and ramen in Westchester! Better than those in the city. We are so lucky to have this shop in our neighborhood. Master chef Park and the staffs there are wonderful, super friendly and dedicated . I and my wife deeply appreciate their food and service. Highly recommend!

The owner and servers are so nice and kind, Food was so good!!! I definitely want to visit again. The best Japanese and Korean restaurant around this area. If you like sushi, please try hae dup bap!

I visited here for three times,and all experiences are awesome for me. Sushi and sashimi combo is the best menu. Also, It’s better than sushi restaurants in Korea. Taste is really really really nice & delicious!!!

Best sushi & Ramen I'm Westchester County even further area. All of materials are fresh and food is so delicious. It was my first visit, but I'm so impressed. All of the staffs are very kind and specific professional. Absolutely I will come back.

Asagao has been my go-to sushi spot in the area. Sashimi is always good and super fresh! It also has various kinds of small plates, rolls, and ramens so it is a gem place that can satisfy different tastes of my family. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere is good too. Love this restaurant.

After a great family lunch here about a year ago, I came back to Asagao today with friends as we ran on Old Croton Aqueduct Trail. All the foods we had were great, but sushi and sashimi were exceptional to me … top quality and very fresh. Crispy crab dumpling was not only yummy but also creative. Ramen was awesome just like last time … the owner hinted they spend a lot of time for the ramen soup with their own recipe. They also added some interesting Japanese drinks and I really enjoyed the beer served in a frozen glass. Overall 10/10 … will definitely visit again!

The service was great. They answered all of my questions about the food and were even kind enough to give us a flower for Mother’s Day. The food was also great and tasted very fresh. The prices aren’t high either. Overall great experience and wish to come again.

Excellent hidden gem at Croton-on-Hudson. Was not disappointed. Here I thought of giving up on Asian cuisine in Westchester. Here comes Asagao to prove me wrong. Service was excellent and courteous. We had Noah for our table and he was excellent and knowledgeable of the menu. Had the tako yaki and edamame to start. Also tried their miso soup which was excellent. The tako yaki was delicious and so was the Edamame. Had the super dragon roll and 2 pieces of the salmon sushi. I can usually down a few rolls but man do they give you a lot in the specialty rolls. I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu. They also have Ramen which I can't wait to try. Do yourself a favor and head over to this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

I’m not sure if they changed ownership or chefs. Or if it’s hit or miss. It was good last year. But it’s no longer fresh fish; the rolls are smaller but the same price. It used to be great and the price was justifiable. Maybe Thursday is the last night before a fresh shipment?
