Opinions de Blaze Pizza Culver City
I came to this Blaze about 30 minutes before closing. They were just cleaning up and I was desperate to get a gluten free pizza. The workers were nice enough to make my pizza to go. They were super understanding and very sweet to me.
The manager is amazing and she always offers great service. Her staff keeps the place clean and the service is excellent.
On black friday night, we came in after shopping. Cody was so fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. He was able to figure out how to use an online gift card that I bought from Costco. Wasn't sure how much was in there anymore but wanted to try it out. He was patient with me and fast in checking. Other locations I've been to, e.g Hawthorne location, have a hard time figuring it out, are slow, mediocre customer service and a toss up if whether they'll burn my pizza or not. This will hands done be my go to location.
There’s a really nice person who works the oven here - I’ve seen them twice and each time they were lovely. Pizza is always consistently good. I’m a gluten free person (legit tho, unfortunately) and yeah they do it well. The missus and I like to grab take-out from here at the end of stressful weeks. Parking is a teeny bit stressful but not for lack of spots, it’s more like an energy thing, like it just feels like a sort of rushed parking situation in which you have to grab a sliver of a spot. You don’t, but you feel like you do. That may just be me tho…
Blaze Pizza is an absolute game-changer for athletes like me! After an intense workout at the nearby gym, I was craving a meal that would not only refuel my energy but also satisfy my taste buds. Blaze Pizza delivered on all fronts. First off, the speed of service was impressive. I walked in, chose my toppings, and watched as they crafted my pizza right before my eyes. The efficiency was perfect for my post-workout hunger. Now, let's talk about the quality of the food. The dough was light and crispy, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It was like a celebration of flavors in every bite. Plus, the variety of toppings and sauces allowed me to create a customized pizza that catered to my nutritional needs. But what really stood out was the option for a cauliflower crust. As an athlete, I appreciate healthier choices, and this crust was a guilt-free delight. It had a great texture and tasted surprisingly good. Blaze Pizza understands that athletes value both taste and nutrition. And the best part? The affordability. After a rigorous workout, I didn't want to break the bank on a meal, and Blaze Pizza offered quality at a reasonable price. That's a win-win! In conclusion, Blaze Pizza is a slam dunk for athletes like me. It's the perfect post-workout meal that combines speed, quality, customization, and affordability. If you're looking to refuel and indulge your taste buds after a workout, Blaze Pizza is the place to go. It's a gold medal in the world of pizza!
@ Corporate pls teach your pizza smiths how to make the top of pizza well done without sacrificing the bottom. I’m about to take my shop sander and save this. The top portion is cooked to perfection and tastes amazing, but the bottom tastes like I’m licking ash from the Devils bosom. This happens at every location I’ve been to. Just a simple gal wanting a simple pie done well.
Always love some great quality pizza… This is the first time I had their new keto crust and it was amazing. We had lots of toppings, the staff was there with a big smile and ready to help and our pizza came out to perfection. I have given five stars except the lobby and serving area was a bit drafty, dim, cold and a bit dirty but I’ll definitely be back
Tried with some friends. Pizza was good. The first time I had one with thin crust. The second time I had one with the Hi Rise option, it was too much dough. I'd stick with thin crust. Not an excessive amount of sauce or cheese and you can add or subtract items from a style of pie. I ordered a meat eater and added bacon and olives. The tomato, basil and ovalini salad I had is tasty.
One of the cheapest pizzas I've ever had. For $6 you can grab their simple pie (cheese and marinara) and it's terrific. You can try their signature pizzas or have them make it just how you like it. The crust is thin, has a nice bite and chew, and holds up quite well. For the price, I really can't ask for anything more. MUST TRY: simple pie and the green stripe (pesto, chicken, red peppers, garlic, mozzarella, topped with arugula)
-Excellent customer service!! -My thin-crust pizza crust was a little more cooked than I would've liked it, but the pizza was loaded 🤩!! -The tables were kinda gross, but it also seems like they were short-staffed.
We like Blaze Pizza, but the service here was atrocious. Way understaffed, only 2 people working, and neither seemed to be the slightest bit interested in actually helping customers. One was checking his phone, while people waited, and then went back to making pizzas without changing gloves or washing his hands. Floor was a mess too.
Blaze is blaze. The pizza is great when they want it to be. Otherwise it's hit or miss, depending on the crew on hand for the shift. More often than not there's an issue. Missing ingredients, underdone, overdone. It's never busy enough to have so many issues. Not sure why we keep coming back.
Update: They're getting very stingy with the mozzarella cheese, you ask for more and it's still not enough, you end up having a sauce and toppings pizza. I hope the manager or owner realize they're still in the pizza making business. I love it here but quality of pizza is hit or miss depending on the cooks. One day it might be cooked to perfection, the other day might be undercooked. The staff is friendly though and their black cherry and mango-orange sodas are really good.
Blaze Pizza is known for letting you fully customize your own pizza, which is honestly the best part of the experience. You can choose from a huge variety of toppings, including multiple meats, cheeses, vegetables, sauces, and extra drizzles, so it’s easy to create something that fits your exact taste. The fast-fired pizzas cook quickly and usually come out hot and flavorful. That said, this specific location seriously misses the mark. The kitchen area looked disorganized, ingredients were scattered, and overall cleanliness seemed questionable. Staff appeared rushed and unfocused, which only added to the chaotic feel. Customization is great in theory, but it’s hard to enjoy your meal when hygiene and organization feel lacking. With better cleanliness and management, this place could be much better. Overall long-term potential.
This was...chaos. I came in & ordered around 6:40pm, I didn't leave until about 7:20pm. There were a good amount of customers but not more than you'd see in a Chipotle at lunch. There was a lot of confusion on the orders. A few/several of the names were wrong (incorrectly heard/written down) which caused confusion/delay in the pick up process. There was also no apparent order to how the pizzas were going in. I came in at 6:40 and watched as other people who ordered got their pizzas before me. I wasn't the only one. I was standing behind a guy who had been there for over 45 minutes. He continually asked about his order and they kept telling him it was almost done. Come to find out, it was never done. I'm surprised the dude kept his cool. My pizza eventually came out and I watched as it sat on the counter for about 10 mins before they boxed it up. It was lukewarm by the time I got to my car and modestly warm by the time I got home. The pizza itself was pretty good but I don't know that I'd want to deal with the headache of waiting in that line again.
Ordered online over $50 worth of pizza with salads. This place doesn’t read instructions. There’s a field where you can enter instructions. I clearly put in light sauce on pizzas. They did the opposite. I suggested ranch dressing, they did not include any dressing for my salads. It’s best to go there and purchase in person.
I go here all the time - 4114 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City, CA 90230 I want to speak to the regional manager The African-American lady Manager, it’s just extremely dirty and unhygienic. They ran out of cooking plates, so she directly put the bread on the oven and started to put ingredients with her bare hands in the oven directly as a shortcut. You can see everything on a video. The pizza came out very horribly. She touches her hair and nose and does not even wash it.
Consistently late. I've placed blaze pizza orders online for pickup about once a month. I don't order out much. But the past 4 times I've received a text "your order is ready for pick" only to show up and have to wait another 10-15 minutes for the order. I understand they are busy and typically don't mind. But when I asked for clarification today the employee responded with "brah I have no control over that". I asked, well who's sending the text messages? "Brah you need to contact corporate, not my problem". I like their pizza, but it's not worth the attitude they serve with it. A simple sorry I'm behind on orders would have been cool with we. But to dismiss my question with that attitude, I'd rather order from other pizzerias next time. 👎 I recommend you don't waste your time.
Me and my girlfriend have been coming to this blaze for a while now and it’s never let us down. Sure people can be more customer friendly but it’s a food business, they gotta deal with a lot. Today we walked in ordered our pizza and whoever the lady who’s in charge today at 7:00pm was so unprofessional yelling at her employees in front of customers who were waiting and eating food. I couldn’t even make a conversation because she was repeating the same thing over and over again for almost 30min! The poor kids were honestly so kind and on top of their work. This lady seems like she’s mad because she’s pushing 40 and feels the need to yell at young kids. She should not be in charge. After confronting her about the situation she just blew us off and was extra rude about it. Huge shoutout to the rest of the staff keeping their composure. Seems like they got a lot more patience than she does. I hope she reads this and thinks about how her life has lead up to her yelling at younglings. Well that’s it. We’re still coming here because it’s the closest to us but if there’s another instance with here being such a terrible person, I’ll have everyone I know file a complaint till she’s de ranked or Fired. Pathetic honestly.
I come into this location all the time because I work in the area. I always either get a discount or something and the staff is very nice. But this one particular girl she always has an updo in a braid lightskin, is honestly rude to me. Not sure what her issue is but she then lied or “changed” a policy for only today that I couldn’t get a discount. I asked her if it’s a day thing she gave me a weird look and said “ No I’m just not giving you a discount today”. I just left out because I don’t do confrontation. Not sure what her problem is but wont be coming back if she’s there.
This was my first time at Blaze pizza in Culver City, but my parents suggested it because they love their Blaze in Palm Springs; unfortunately, we were all disappointed. I think most people order takeout from this Culver City location, so the space itself was small, cluttered, and unattended, with unusually harsh, cold-toned lighting — not a homey environment. Staff were curt with customers, rushed and bumping into one another, yelling out instructions, and the ordering system itself seemed mismanaged and chaotic. My gluten-free pizza was forgotten about and left in too long. When it came out, it had burnt edges all around and the cheese was dry, but the employee just cut off the burnt pieces and gave the pizza to me. When I mentioned that it looked overdone, she didn’t offer to make me another. I took a bite, which was unsurprisingly dry and rubbery. I was just going to leave it uneaten, but my tenacious mother approached the counter to ask for my money back. The manager half-heartedly apologised and refunded me, but I am not interested to go back there again. I have a feeling my family will still persuade to try Blaze Pizza in Palm Springs, but I’m sure it will be better!
