Stopped here 2 hours before closing, didn’t have any chicken and didn’t want to cook any apparently. A few other customers were here also and they only were able to get chicken tenders because that’s all that was available.

The food was ok, just tasted super plain, and not as good, since the last time I had it. The cashier kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain to him what I wanted after he asked, and just didn't seem like he cared and kept looking around and smiling at what I assume is his friend that was sitting in the lobby. And on top of that the vibe was just off, everyone including the locals seemed like they hate the place, but it's a place to eat so they went there anyway.

First time at a Golden Chick. I ordered the Big & Wicked Combo (their spicy chicken sandwich), and was confused when the response was "do you want it spicy?". Is there a spicier version of the Big & Wicked Spicy Sandwich? The next question was "do you want cheese?", not "do you want cheese for an extra 50 cents?". I'd have preferred the latter. The drink cup I was given had damage enough to ensure that a lid wouldn't seal good. The sandwich was quite good, but my daughter didn't enjoy her 2-piece fried chicken combo as much. I like fried okra and was glad to be able to order it, but it was a far cry from really good fried okra. Google says the address is 521 South Hwy 87, but my receipt says 520. I wonder which is correct? Overall, I don't regret stopping in, but I'm not raving about the experience either.

We have eaten at this place a few times now, twice a year when travelling. First experience was awesome. It has progressively gotten worse. We get the catfish now, because it was so good the first time. This time these things had changed: you still get a really good dinner Roll, fresh, but no butter offered or given for it; the fish pieces are about half the size that they were before; one tartar sauce packet given for 2 pieces of fish, I requested more; no ketchup offered or given for French fries, which were so, so overcooked we couldn't even bite into them - they honestly snapped like a twig when I tried to eat them; I did complain about the fries on the way out, just so they would know how bad they were, but I don't know if the crew understood what I was saying. My husband did like the dirty rice though.

I've eaten there before, and it's very delicious, but. When I went this last time. They had no rotisserie chicken. So I had to go to Taco Bell. This was at 5 o'clock PM. Supposed to be fast food. Why do they not have what I wanted at 5 PM during dinner rush? When I did have their chicken b4 it was delicious. They also decided to help out somebody that walked in behind me to pick up a delivery first while I was standing at the counter.

The older guy at counter was so rude like he was mad we walked in to order. No customer service what so ever. . Then got my order wrong and snapped at me when I asked him for fork. I asked how will I eat my green beans?

Would not recommend Dalhart location! Worst service ever! Food practically thrown out window, window slammed shut. Order wrong, when I went in to speak with manger & get order corrected mentioned employee was laughing in the back. Only wish I had got a name...

Order wrong. Took almost 25 mins for 4 over cooked ck stripes n some burnt up okra. Yall definitely need to train yalls employees better

A bit disorganized when I stop by , could have been a better experience than what I had , fried chicken was ready and had to wait ,an this at around 630 in the evening on a Saturday ,I'll think twice about stopping by again to this location , had better experience at all Greenville,TX location by far , k

Worst experience ever add a Golden Chick! Server got my order wrong and when I tried to talk to them about it, either they didn’t understand me or they didn’t care. Also, I asked for another tray and they ignored me. The tray was warped and wobbly. The only good thing about this place is it’s very clean. Period.

There is nothing golden about this chick. This is BY FAR the worst Golden Chick I’ve been to. Drive through was very slow, even though there were no other patrons. Chicken came out cold, order was missing a side, the rolls looked as though they had been danced on, and the sodas were both flat and without taste. As a person driving through Dalhart, my guess is they rarely deal with angry customers, as most simply want to get out of town. I would steer clear of this location. PS- I want my cold, clumpy Mac and cheese the next time I come through town.
