Opinions de Which Wich? Dalhart
I tried this for the first time today while driving from Oklahoma to Colorado. It was so darn good. I had the ultimate BLT. The employees were very helpful and nice in helping me place an order since I had never done this before. I make this trip a few times a year and I will definitely stop here each time! I’m hooked! The cashier even gave my baby girl a quarter so she could get Candy from the vending machine. Great customer service.
My 5 stars are based on this being a chain restaurant in a gas station with a very small dining room. You know this when you decide to dine here. But the food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I appreciate a good alternative to Subway on a regular road trip from TX to Colorado.
Great place to stop on a road trip. Offers a very tasty Black bean Sandwich if you're looking for a vegan option. Pros: Quick stop for real food Cons: may not have parking if gas station is busy
I had a Philly cheese steak and a milkshake both were great quality the milkshake did take a while to get out because they were understaffed but it was one of the best milkshakes I've ever had chocolate Oreo 10/10
It was my 1st visiting they have a real unique way of ordering all the sandwhiches have bags with names on them at an ordering station with markers so u can fill out your condiments on then hand it to the cashier pay and the make it for you...I ordered a Gyro which was pretty good.
Consuming a really good sandwich in the middle of rural Texas is one of life's great joys. We've stopped here multiple times on our way to and from Colorado and have made it part of our itinerary.
This place isn't kidding when they say Superior Sandwiches. I recommend the Philly Cheesesteak!!!

Pretty decent salads and sandwiches. Definitely a step up from Subway. My only complaint would be they seem to always neglect to include one or more of the items I check that I want on my salad or sandwich. So I'm probably paying for something I don't get. I ordered avocado on my salad, and I didn't get them. A little disappointing to say the least.
I would give them five stars but they are starting to skimp on their menu. They've started serving their gyros on a hoagie roll. Ugh! Everyone knows it should be served on flat bread. It also appears they did away with their Ruben sandwich. Basically they are becoming a high priced Subway!
Not many choices to stop at while traveling, so this was ok. They didn't have many of the options on their menu, no lettuce wraps, no fries, etc. The sandwiches were ok and the service was fine. Just another sandwich to eat while traveling through
First time here, so I didn't know what to expect. Sliced meats on subs. Toasted makes them flaky but still very good. The best part about this place is the ordering process. It's pretty expensive though.
First time at a Which Wich, and it's a little different, so we had to figure things out. No problem for the most part. I ordered their "signature sandwich", the Wicked, and no doubt it was a good sandwich, though I'd have preferred if it weren't toasted (nobody asked). I had sticker shock at the $35-for-two total price - ouch! Partly my fault for ordering a "Large" (foot long) because I didn't know the smaller size is about right at 9 inches or so. Does anyone ever actually order a "Super"? It was quite a while from when we placed our order to when we got our sandwiches, as others have noted, and that was at an off time - around 3:00p.
Great sandwiches prepared right when you order them. This is our first time as a family going to a Which Wich; the sandwiches tasted fresh and were well-received by both kids and adults on our stop.
Pretty good food, I would just order mine a little different next time. But for my first visit we really enjoyed it. Service very friendly and inviting. Definitely would come back.

Stood around at least 5-8 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. Had to ask the sandwich maker if someone wants to take our order. The manager who was sitting at a desk working came over and took our order. It took awhile for them to make two sandwiches but man, was it worth the wait! I got their signature sandwich. Excellent! I'm sure our wait was not normal. The manager that took order was very nice. I'll definitely stop in again!
When I came in, they were packed. All of the tables were dirty, but I think that was because as soon as someone finished eating, someone else took their seat. The servers didn't have an opportunity to wash the tables, in this instance. The lady who took my order was in training, but she was fast, friendly and made sure she got my order correct. I ordered a steak Avowich. It was a little expensive for what it was, but I've never seen anyone else offer a sandwich like that and I wanted to try it. It was delicious! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area and will try other locations when the opportunity presents itself. Next time, though, I'll get a bowlwich and make my own avowich's at home.

Really busy stop at a busy intersection. I love Which Wich and always enjoy their food. Dining space is really small and not clean. They seemed understaffed. For the amount of time we waited, I had hoped our food would have been a little hotter (10-15 minutes). Menu is smaller, specialty sandwiches and BYO, but still great options.
Slowest service on the planet. Mama Mia. Zero desire to move with any sort of purpose.
Service was very slow sandwiches were really messy.
My food was good, all of the tables were dirty. I asked an employee if he would please wipe the table down, he told me he wasn’t on the clock and walked out!! What a jerk
The food and service was amazing although usually when I do go to which Wich they don't have the necessary items for the sandwich I want so for those that go to which Wich in dalhart don't expect whatever you want.
The bread was very dry, the tables were dirty and it took a long time to get 2 sandwiches. The person working was very nice and did a great job changing gloves. The rest of the ingredients tasted fresh and they had everything we asked for.

We waited 35 minutes for our mediocre and overpriced sandwiches. $15-20 per person, sandwiches only.
Came in late after driving all day. We were happy to try this place, as soon as we walked in we were told they didn't have turkey or steak. So we order a Blt. They also didn't have tomatoes, i also noticed he charged me $2 for avocado but didn't put it on my sandwich. You could tell the guy was ready to get out of there. Our sandwich was decent with what ingredients they had left. We were just hungry. Large semi parking lot to park overnight.
We ordered online while driving g through town. The order took nearly 40 minutes. This wasn’t because they were so busy but because they had no system for online orders. Oh order was complete but the employees didn’t know where it was to give it to us. To top it off they had the wrong drinks and chips on our order. The sandwiches were good but had become like warm while waiting for the employees to find them. This place needs management to review their systems. Do not order online here!!
Which wich used to be one of my favorite sandwich spots. So when I was in the middle of nowhere and we saw there was finally a town with food available I was surprised and delighted that it was this sub shop. All I can say is eventually we got our food.
Food was good. Service was slow... Slow enough that I had 2 sandwiches before mine and it took over my 30 minute lunch period to even receive the food. They need more workers and if you're trying to be quick... This isn't for you

We ordered the PizzaWich and we almost left to eat it in the pickup but thankfully stayed, we bit into it and guess what? NO meat! My fiancé even put double meat so we asked about it and the employee said “I’ve never put meat on a PizzaWich” excuse me sir it literally says ON THE BOARD “pepperoni, marinara, and mozzarella”. So we sat there and argued until he brought us pepperoni. Mind boggled. Horrible service. And I still can’t believe they didn’t put meat on it. Even with one saying double meat. (They could have asked WHY he put double meat) But whatever not going back there. I wish there was a way to tell management.
I go to all the trouble getting my semi in here for some food and they won’t even make me a sandwich pissed me right off
Today, I'm going to have to say was not good! I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, which is a favorite of mine. I typically order 1 a week. It was terrible today. Very little chicken salad. I was very disappointed as was my husband who ordered an Authentic Philly. He said it was the worst sandwich he has had there to date. We were so disappointed! !!
Clerk was mad about working alone and having to close alone. Was so mad at us for our timing. Messed up our sandwiches so bad. And as his last great act of defiance, he smashed a handful of jalapenos on the sandwich. We didn't order jalapenos. He really needs to be relieved of his duties.
I have ordered the Gyro several times and it was amazing. Today I got lettuce on it that shouldn’t have been there and very little meat! The bread was not right either! It should be pita bread not a hoagie roll! I have to add this was after 7 pm and there was only one employee running the register and making the sandwiches.
Poor service today. Placed the order in the app. Supposed to be ready by 10:17. Finally ready at 10:30. Store was not even open when it was supposed to be. Employees standing around in back even though they could see a line forming. No apologies from the staff. Front door remained locked as customers arrived through the convenience store. Not much interest in good customer service today.
I've been sitting here for 10 minutes waiting for my sandwich. 3 local police officers have been waiting longer. I see the employees doing stuff, but not a single sandwich has been made so far. Not cool. People are traveling through here and need to get back on the road. 7 people now waiting and one sandwich made. 15 minutes now and they're confused with the sandwiches. 18 minutes later the second sandwich was made. 20 minutes and still only 2 sandwiches made. 25 minutes later I got mine. Total BS.
Walked in at 6:26pm on a Friday evening with a sign stating extended hours till 10pm… yet were told “we are not taking any orders, only prepping meat, and will be 45 minutes before we take more”. Absolutely unacceptable for a dinner hour establishment. (2 other groups walked in after us to be told the same)
Walked up as the employees where smoking cigarettes at 7:58. They ran inside and locked the door before I could come in. I really wanted a seafood which but I guess you're too busy hiding in the back to help one more customer. Very rude, never going back.
I have been here many times passing through. This sandwich I got tonight took forever to get then didn't even have the ingredients I ordered. They subbed spicy ranch with Buffalo sauce not even the same flavor without even asking. What a waste of time.
Passing through town and was really excited for which wich. Sign says they have been open since 10 AM. It is 2:30 PM, and as I am about to complete my order, we are informed that the only thing available is ham. Ended up walking out.
Extremely overpriced! Tons of bread and very little meat or vegetables. The person running the cash register was very unfriendly and close to rude. Subway beats them hands down!!
I don’t like to complain but!!!!! I like this place & drove another hour to be able to eat here, also know there is a Subway acrosss the street. Should be Zero stars, waited over 10 mins to place my order, people walking around in background doing nothing (1 person might have been special needs). I think they were changing shifts? A lady said they would be with me shortly, after about 5 mins waiting & 3 people behind me a gentleman who shoulder length hair stepped in the back & sneezed 3 times, put his hair in a hair net & took my order (he did apologize for the wait) Placed my order for a large wicked sandwich, chips & drink I was notified it would be $26.30 😳. They don’t accept Amex so I had to use another form of payment. I ordered my food @ 12:22pm and received my order @ 12:46pm, while I was waiting I observed two people walk out. To make matters worse, the special needs guy cut me off in line to get his drink before me!!!! He finished I got my coke only to realize that there was no carbonation! So I used the store’s fountain drinks instead like everyone else. No Mgmnt, no organization, no service! To bad, could be a money maker :-/
Make sure you have exact change when you use cash. I couldn’t order my meal because I didn’t have exact change. My total was 10.28 and I had 20.28 and still couldn’t get my order. Don’t waist your time stopping because they don’t want your business.
I have been to this Which Which multiple times. However, the service has worsened each time I’ve visited. The latest incident will keep me from ever going back to this location. I placed an online order at 11:44am to be ready at 12:03 pm. I arrived to the window at 12:05pm. First I waited 5 minutes for anyone to come to the window and was told my food was being prepared. Unfortunately I did not receive my food until 12:25pm. During my wait I knocked on the window to talk to someone because 2 cars were waiting behind me. The person who finally came to the window did not seem to care, just told me they were busy. I saw multiple people come and go while I waited for 20 minutes at the window.
Disaster. Took 1/2 hour for an egg salad sandwich and then they shut down taking any more orders. Management should be fired.
Ordered thru Uber Eats. My order was terrible, food was poorly made and not the product Which Wich advertises. My order was not sealed per protocol for a delivery order. My chips and drink were left out of my order. The driver went back to retrieve. I called the location and spoke to "Talisha" when I said my name, her entire demeanor changed to the negative. I explained that my chips and drink weren't with the order, she did apologize, but it was obvious she doesn't care for me, Customer or not. The entire ordeal was a fiasco. I tossed the meal because I was not comfortable with the situation. Beware!!!! This is their 3rd strike with me.
We came here and ordered two sandwiches which were advertised as $9 per sandwich. When the employee rang it up they charged us $11 per sandwich. We pointed this out to the employee and her response was there is nothing I can do. They either need to be honest about their prices or correct their system.
Ordered a Cali lettuce wrap, they told me they don't do wraps anymore. Chose to go with a bowl instead. No avocado, no cucumber, negligible crab, and an inedible amount of giant chunks of onion. The only good thing was the shake.
Seriously?...are you kidding?...you won't last a month....one girl behind the register..one guy making sandwiches...he takes a break and just leaves.... now it's just her,to run the register and make the sandwiches....no bags for Italian sandwiches.... you need a college degree to be able to order a sandwich... it's so complicated.... never ever again...
My husband and I are out of state and stopped here to get lunch. I went in to order while he got gas. I filled out the specific bags of what sandwiches we wanted and went to the check out. I was the only person in the store, but no one was at the counter and there was no bell or any way to get service. I waited for about 5 minutes before an employee came out from the back, made eye contact with me, and went back into the back room. This happened two more times and when he came out the last time he had a rag and just started cleaning things while I was standing there to place my order. Never said a word to me until I cleared my throat to get his attention. Somehow, he managed to mess up both sandwiches adding things that weren’t requested and leaving things off that were supposed to come with it and we weren’t aware until we were back on the road. I have allergies to what he added to my sandwich, and my husband doesn’t like the mayo that was put on his. Terrible and expensive waste of time.
What a complete crap show! There were bo other customers in the store the entire time we were there. With that said we ordered our food ($50 for two meals?!?!?) and then waited for 45 MINUTES (!!) until we got it. Why? Because the sole worker decided to have her dinner break after taking our order but before making our sandwiches! So my husband sat there while she ate a burrito (he could see her eating) and she refused to acknowledge him. Once we got the food I couldn’t even eat my sandwich (avocado sub) because the avocado was black (not green, or slightly oxidized) and warm. It was rotted and had been clearly sitting out on a counter all day. So after all that, still couldn’t even eat the food. Oh and the shake had us running to the bathroom all night. Never ever again!
